Enter the Heroican Revolution, in 1729. The colonists of Kormanor decided to revolt. Economic issues were spread throughout Kormanor. Though another possible reason they revolted was because of unfair leadership. Regardless of this, some people wanted change. The beginnings of Heroica were formed. Many Envoys supported the Heroican rebels. The Heroican rebel military was created to ensure the rebels’ independence.
During the time, the Military wasn't standing a chance because of sheer numbers and the weapons the Kormanian Military had. A young general by the name of Jaxon Metrin led the military with tactics and ended up sprouting victory for the Heroicans. There were three major battles in the war. The first was "Battle of the Brave," where the military had the tactics, but not the numbers. The Heroican military weakened the Kormanor by lots, but the Kormanor pulled into this one only because of sheer numbers. The results of the battle are considered to have been a Heroican victory.
The second battle was named, "Battle of the Bloodshed," where the revolutionaries gained lots of support by showing what legislation they'd propose for their new country if they were to win the war. Metrin led the military south where they would attempt to push the Kormanian military out of the south Rinan island. The Kormanian military didn't spot the Heroican military now marching west of their camps until they were shot at. Many of the Kormanians were killed in their sleep, while the other Kormanians were forced to scramble up for supplies and end up getting killed. The Heroicans also had another advantage. They could direct orders infront of an enemy using the Heroican Code.
There were many casualties for both sides in the Battle of the Bloodshed. The Heroicans pushed the Kormanians out of the south Rinan island. This was considered a major victory for the Heroicans, and Metrin was highly praised for his feats. It was at this time that Heroica was officially formed. Metrin was made the leader of the new Heroica. But there was one more major battle, "Battle for the Glorious Islands" where the Kormanians came back to try and claim the South Rinan back. Metrin reassumed his role as a general. Most of the casualties for the Kormanians was the traps the Heroicans set up. This was a easy battle for the Heroicans as they easily picked them off. Kormanor surrendered after the loss. The Heroicans now had the south Rinan.
The entire war lasted a total of 3 years. In 1732, Kormanor was defeated, and Heroica officially gained their independence. Jaxon Metrin was declared the leader of Heroica. Heroica established a democracy, a government where the people had power. They promised they would never be a monarchy, like Kormanor before them. The two nations remained enemies, and weren‘t ready to make up yet. However, in 1737, Kormanor suffered the Great Economic Collapse. Heroica became the dominant nation in the world. Ten years later, in 1747, Heroica decided to ally with Kormanor. Together, they pulled Kormanor out of its failing state. Though no longer suffering from economic problems, Kormanor would never be the prospering nation they once were.
