The Ancient Era was the first era in history. Not many years after the Great Explosion, human life was formed. Historians refer to the time as the Ancient Era, when the first human life forms were made.

Humans soon created groups. Thousands of groups were formed. Some were small, others, much bigger. Some were at peace, others at war with one another. Many civilizations were formed.

Geographically, nothing was different than the way it is today. Loroboia and Manacia were still in the same places. Civilizations were spread out equally among the two modern day continents.

Notable fights did occur between some of the civilizations. Historians have deduced, due to the buried bones of dead warriors, that a great fight did indeed occur. The Ancient War, which is what modern historians refer to it as, occurred for nearly a decade, according to historians.

They also believe that this was caused by a feud between two large civilizations- the Trasans and the Jitomans. Scientists believe the war was for territory. The Trasans are believed to have won the war. The only evidence of this war is ruins and bones.

Peace lasted for many more decades, before the supervirus known as the Withering struck on the civilizations. It is believed that the Withering originated from deadly, poisonous plants. The effect of the virus was flesh decay. But there was a way to treat it.

The biggest civilizations were able to find it. The treatment was another type of plant, found deep in the forests. Bigger civilizations sent out many men first, and they took all of the treatment for themselves. Soon, all of the civilizations except for around ten were eradicated.

After this, the remaining civilizations fought desperately for territory. On Loroboia, the Soderani were able to defeat their opponents. On Manacia, the Trasans and Hominus allied, and took down their enemies. Peace was present for some more centuries.

Eventually, these civilizations began to develop. They all started to develop languages. The Hominus had a speaking language, while the Soderani were establishing a written language. The Trasans were also developing a written language.

At some point, the Hominus took over the Trasans. They conquered their land, betraying the Trasans and taking them over. The Trasans became a territory civilization of the Hominus- but they soon collapsed only a couple decades after their being conquered. The Soderani and Hominus remained, but neither of them knew that the other existed, for they were on separate continents.

After another few centuries, the Soderani were introduced to a virus known as the Sodanus, which was also caused by plants only found on their continent. It caused severe sickness, and spread quickly. The Soderani spent years recovering. By the time they had recovered, the Hominus were dominant, and the Soderani lost the progress they had developed on their languages. They still exist today, but they have devolved into the apes they started as.

So the Hominus had become the dominant civilization. Their languages had been fully developed, and they also formed a written language too. For centuries, the Hominus reigned supreme- until the end of the Ancient Era.

By the end of the Ancient Era, the Hominus began to divide. Fights were occurring between leaders. It was becoming unstable. So the Hominus peacefully split up into many sub-civilizations. The most well-known of these sub-civilizations was the Ghanar… but that’s another story. ;)

The Ancient Era lasted approximately 2 million years. It is the longest era out of all of the Oberonic eras of history. During this era, ancient cavemen civilizations developed, as well as early human life and languages. Towards the end, tribal civilizations were being developed. And that started the Tribal Age…
