LOCATIONS
Grandis City - The capitol of Valuud, located on the region's southern coast. While also serving as its capitol, Grandis is the designated point of arrival for all newcomers to the region, with the largest port in the region. Grandis is a vibrant metropolis that is separated into distinct districts with various purposes: first is the shopping district, located just outside of the port, host to many different kinds of shops and two Pokémon centers to keep up with the population. Next is the entertainment district which hosts several movie theaters, arcades and the Pokémon stadium of Grandis. There is also a residential district, home to the citizens of Grandis.

Key Locations
  • Grandis City Pokémon Stadium - Located within the entertainment district, the Pokémon stadium of Grandis serves as host to several continuous and seasonal events. The most popular occurrences are Pokémon contests and challengers to the Elite Four and Champion of Valuud, which fight out of the stadium.
  • City Hall - Situated between the entertainment district and the residential district, this immaculate building serves as the base of operations for the government of the Valuud region. Many of the region's politicians and chief administrators live in Grandis and work within this hall.
  • Grandis University - The largest and most prestigious university in the Valuud region, Grandis University is home to the top researchers within the region, including the renowned Professor Acacia. Grandis University serves as the starting point for many Pokémon trainer's journeys, and it is here that Professor Acacia grants said trainers with their starter Pokémon.
  • Pokémon Centers - There are two Pokémon centers within the city limits of Grandis, one located at the eastern exit of the city, and one located at the western exit of the city.

Mella Town - Northeast of Grandis, Mella town is a far-cry from the buzzing metropolis that Grandis is. The population of this town is a humble 3,546 people, in comparison to Grandis' 3.5 million. The town is home to a couple of small shops and a café as well as the first gym of Valuud's Pokémon League.

Key Locations
  • Mella Town Gym - The largest building in Mella town, the stadium hosts the first gym challenge of the Valuud Pokémon league as well as the Gym leader's home, located a floor above the battleground. Challengers who make it past the gym challenge will earn the Seafoam Badge.
  • Shellia Café - Small, but charming, this café serves both people and pokémon, serving coffee and poffins.
  • Pokémon center - The pokémon center in Mella Town is located right at the entrance to the town.

Karragan Town - West of Grandis, Karragan town is bigger than Mella to the east, boasting a population of about 13,000. Karragan town is popular because it is host to a VAL-Track station, Valuud's bullet-train system that can transport somebody across the entire region in a matter of a few short hours. Karragan also has the second Gym Challenge of the Valuud Pokémon League.

Key Locations
  • VAL-Track Station - The VAL-Track station is a bustling hub of activity, with people from across the region departing and boarding to continue their commutes or their journeys. Much of Karragan town's jobs originate from the station.
  • Karragan Town Gym - This stadium is host to the Valuud Pokémon League's second gym challenge. Challengers who defeat this gym will earn the Scorched Badge.
  • Silver Vulpix Tattoo Parlor - Owned and operated by Jackson Hunt, the Silver Vulpix Tattoo Parlor is the most popular tattoo shop in the region.

Prence City - Located on the opposite coast of the region, Prence City is only accessible to newcomers of the region via the VAL-Track system. Prence City is home to about 1.7 million people and is the Valuud Region's fashion hub. Many designers and artists call Prence City home and the architecture of the city displays that fact, with varying building shapes and designs. Prence City also boasts an elegant Contest Hall that doubles as an Opera House.

Key Locations
  • VAL-Track Station
  • Prence City Gym - This stadium is host to the third gym challenge in the league. Challengers who defeat this gym will earn the Fault Badge.
  • Prence City Contest Hall - An elegantly designed building that almost seems like a museum on the outside. The inside of the building is divided in two, to the left is where Pokémon Contests are held, on the right is an Opera House, hosting, well, Operas, as well as many various plays and productions.

POKÉMON LEAGUE
The Valuud Region, like all others, boasts a challenging Pokémon League for trainers of all experience levels to participate in. Registration to the Pokémon League starts in Grandis City where brand new trainers will receive their starter Pokémon from Professor Acacia, an occasion that marks the start of a journey for any trainer. Unlike other regions, the Valuud region allows its trainers to choose any starter from every other region to make up for the fact that it does not have its own unique starters. Some trainers choose to forego choosing a starter for various reasons; some have already been provided a partner Pokémon by their parents, others want to test their luck in capturing a Pokémon on their own without the help of a starter.

The Starters -
  • Water: Squirtle, Totodile, Mudkip, Piplup, Oshawott, Froakie, Popplio, Sobble, and Quaxley
  • Fire: Charmander, Cyndaquil, Torchic, Chimchar, Tepig, Fennekin, Litten, Scorbunny, and Fuecoco
  • Grass: Bulbasaur, Chikorita, Treecko, Turtwig, Snivy, Chespin, Rowlet, Grookey, and Sprigatito

The Gym Challenge - As is the standard across most regions, Valuud's Gym Challenge has 8 gyms before allowing trainers to challenge the Elite Four and subsequently the Champion. The rating of the gyms are in order and trainers are recommended to follow this list when tackling the gym challenge.

*Note that (P) following a Gym Leader's name means another player controls that Gym Leader, NPC Gym Leaders will not have any markings following their names, the same rule applies for the Elite Four and Champion.
**Note also that NPC Gym Leaders are replaceable with player characters.

  • Mella Gym - Water Type - Ciaran Vistel (P)
  • Karragan Gym - Fire Type - Ophelia Hunt
  • Prence Gym - Ground Type - Helen Hunt
  • Tane Gym - Grass Type - Elizabeth Ross (P)
  • Stount Gym - Fairy Type - Nolan Jenkins
  • Lollen Gym - Fighting Type - Seto Sadao
  • Hellis Gym - Ghost Type - Rook
  • Camly Gym - Normal Type - Darlene Blackstone

The Elite Four - The final challenge before being able to face the Valuud Region's Champion.

  • Ice Type - TBA
  • Psychic Type - TBA
  • Dragon Type - TBA
  • Poison Type - TBA

The Champion - Valuud's strongest trainer and the face of the Pokémon League. Many look up to the Champion and aspire to be just like them and hope to one day take their mantle.

Aisha Wilson

Hall of Fame - Previous and current champions are listed in the Hall of Fame. Sometimes a trainer will defeat the Champion but will choose to abdicate the title, leaving it to the former champion and settling for a spot in the hall.

Darlene Blackstone
