Help Understanding the concept of Nation RP

So it's been a few years since I roleplayed and uhhhh seems like things have gotten a bit more complicated. Maybe I just wasn't aware at the time. Anyway, point is the concept of nation rp looks so interesting to me, however i'm having some trouble understanding how one goes about it, how it's structured and the like. Anyone care to explain?

It's basically RP at a nation level rather than at the individual level, with players running countries together. Each one will be structured differently depending on how the participants want it; check out the Nation Building RP section to see what's out there now.

Sometimes people use the Nation Building forum for RPs that involve general strategy and managing groups, not always necessarily countries. I made a guide if you're interested in any smaller-scale stuff.
