Queen of Dragons
Act 1; Shattered Peace
GM Story Post

Crestfyre Academy; Class 27-C
Notes:
◉ The Year of the Wolverine is the year-date that marks the start of this adventure. The Calendar shall be added to the Lore topic later on to explain this, so one can grasp the passage of time.

◉ Each class seats up to 35 students.

◉ Dracmore is a card game very popular with youth, and starts by seven cards are randomly drawn from a personal deck at the start of the game - two are set to the side face down, and thosein hand are called your “party”. The gist of the game is to fight your opponent with cards, and winning no less than 2 out of 3 rounds to be the victor - however games are normally extended to at least 8 rounds, and played between two and six players.
Cards can depict all sorts of portriats, though originally have only knights, kings, paladins and cavalry. There have also been a few expansion packs that have been released, which include“Dracmore: Monsters Edition”, which released creatures and monsters from all over the worlds as playable cards in your party. “Dracmore: Astral Edition”, which includes gods and other divine beingson silver pattered cards. And, the newest deck, "Dracmore: Legendary Edition", which released a series of ancient, popular heroes from back a thousand years ago on gold patterned cards.
There are also a collection of (currently) 36 statuettes that can be brought for a loftier price, however they multiply the damage of your regular cards by x3, silver cards by x5, andgold cards by x10.

The autumn air drifted coolly through the open windows, rustling through the idle textbook pages as the collective of student returned to their seats. The steady scrape of dragging heels against the wooden floorboards, and shuffling of coats, was the only sound that could be heard, apart from a few off complaints about their 6 a.m. training schedule, resulting in the majority being left utterly exhausted from the past three hours of combat exercises and defence techniques. Behind them approached their homeroom teacher; she was a young woman in her mid to late twenties, and of Indian descent. Her rusty skin marked with prominent white tattoos that irradiated a dull iridescent glow, of which was barely noticeable in the light of the early morning.

Her name was Prisha Sahni; a beautiful woman, however known for her eyes which could turn one to stone if they were to misbehave in her class. As such, she walked to her desk and opened the laptop, a holographic projection screen appearing on the wall containing folders labelled numbers, rather than the generic listing of the day's study curriculum. Mrs Sahni then spent the next few minutes organising her work, before moving towards the board and starting the day's lesson, lightly tapping and dragging her finger along the holo-board to display the required information. It was average work for Class 27-C; starting the morning with a recap of the previous lesson, and quizzing the students to get them focused and make sure they were learning each subject thoroughly. If not all hands shot up with an answer, Mrs Sahni would make a note - each note meant more homework, and luckily the morning was able to proceed without a single note taken down.

The lessons proceeded, going from analysis, to politics, and ending with an hour of magical theory before the lunch bell rang. "I'll see you after lunch," Mrs Sahni concluded. "We will be doing field work in the city, so come back on the first bell." Field work - one of the best classes which meant the rest of the day would be spent learning while almost literally being on the job. Field work meant going to the palace, and getting to walk the marble halls of the Pscion's home, learning from the current Exhalts and making patrols through the city to observe and take notes, as well as getting the chance to participate in a scheduled mission at the end of the day. It was all mock-danger, so the possibility of getting injured wasn't likely, yet still, as an Exhalt-in-training you were never allowed out of the school grounds unless it was for field work, and the possibilities were exciting.

The bell rang, and class was dismissed to lunch; the first out of class being a gaggle of three girls, followed by two of the boys. From this point, you decide what you wish to do with your lunch break.

The first of the girls was Feya Goodson, a fiery intellectual who was extremely popular with the boys and, rumour has it, the girls as well. She was a preppy rich girl in spirit, however like everyone else here, she was detached from anyone she could call family, and so she found this group of gossiping school girls to call hers.
From magical training with her, you were able to summarize she was in possession of the powerful 4th Branch Fire Magic.

The second was Leone Massar, Freya's best friend, and infamously Aevarian. The small brunette was able to shapeshift herself into a large timberwolf at ease when she wasn't praying to her gods, of course.
Blessed by the Guardian of the Forest, Leone wields 1st Branch Nature Magic.

And lastly, Samaira Joscorvik, who was a shy girl that had an affinity towards technology. She was newly acquainted to Feya's little gang, and so rumours about her were very few - though people say she threw up during the entrance exam into Crestfyre, and they had to suspend the last trial two hours late to get the mess cleaned.
Despite her love of tech, Samaira was a 1st Branch Water Magic user.

The first of the two was Zakkari Tempest, rumoured to be a Storncaller and known as an avid Dracmore player. He is known for being overly enthusiastic and positive, with a painful "believe it!" attitude. Though he plays off to be rather dumb, he's one of the class's top-scoring students.
Zakkari is a "utter pro" at 4th Branch Electrical Magic, though he doesn't take his magic seriously enough to do a lot of damage.

Oddly enough, you couldn't quite recall the name of the boy beside him, only that he was addressed as "Mr Michaelis" by the professors. The dark haired boy was a sight, and though intriguing as he was, you often forgot he actually existed. Cambions were rare to see, and even rarer to have transfer into your classroom just before the midterm exams. Noticeably, the boy could be often found with Zakkari talking his ear off, and seemed to be the only one that tolerated the ceaseless yapping of Dracmore.
You haven't seen him perform magic yet.

The weather mage reclined in their seat with their book in their lap as every class, the green haired girl's arms stretching back and over her head with a small and quite groan. The class was more bearable with her lap occupied by the object, eyes scanning the relatively large classroom as it bounced between the students she has seen for years now. As per usual she would bounce between the groups in class idly, trying not to choose favorites. Optimal strategy to be familiar with everyone rather than a few.

"(Honestly, we always have to learn this pointless stuff, it isn't helping me,)" they would whisper to themselves as they rolled their head in its socket. She would push her seat back and stand up, grabbing her locked book and strolling over to the talkative boy and his companion.

"Hey Zakkari, Michaelis. You two talking about Dracmore again?"

Aryasaurus Aryasaurus

Tetra sighed as she stood up from her seat. Although one of the top 8 in the class, she could never beat Zakkari in little more than Dracmore. It was because of her Serius Jori being pulled out in the second round.

She sighed once more as she picked her bag up, slung it around her arm, and walked off toward lunch. She wouldn't be able to hang out with Freya's group so she attempted to stay away from them, adjusting the mask on the side of her face so she would not have to make eye contact with them.

Everything was so strange.

E's creators had no need whatsoever to send him to this academy to learn....anything. Everything he needed to know about what he was made for was already programmed into his archives. Strategy, tactics, hand-to-hand combat, gunplay, first aid, leadership skills, support skills, mechanics, and digital expertise. All was uploaded within minutes of his creation and E was far from the first militarized infantry unit built by his creator's hands. So, why send him here? The combat training was good review and the academics fell flat because E could recall everything he saw with picture perfect detail. The only thing this academy offered was insight on a personal hobby of his which was studying magical theory. It was something that fascinated the bot to no end. A recent development was the strange enjoyment he took from reading, specifically fiction novels.

This was all well and good but it was ultimately useless to him. None of the interesting things that the academy offered were necessary for him to fufill his directives as a soldier.

So why?

Ether never questioned his orders, no matter how ridiculous or outrageous they were but he had gone quite some time without word from his superiors. He listened to the professors without fail and completed all tasks given as ordered but the lack of instructions from his manufacturers worried him. "Worry" was a new emotion he had not experienced before. The S.H.D. was also perplexed as to why he was even created with the capacity for such an emotion. The synths before him were perfect soldiers. Emotionless. Why did E seem to be the only one capable of higher level thinking in comparison to his "brothers"? Why did he have personal interests? Why could he "feel" anything at all?

The questions were ceaseless and the answers were lost to him. Though, there was no use worrying about it now during lunch break. E didn't really get hungry. So, as always, the synth stood from his seat and strode past most of his fellow students to begin his self-created patrol routes. The heavy, metal footfalls echoing through the air announced his presence to any and all around him. Most of the students steered clear of E for obvious reasons but it was clear that the quiet robot held no ill will towards anyone. He always patroled the grounds in silence like a self-appointed guard or sentry to the academy. That tended to make others feel a bit more secure despite his intimidating appearance in full armor. After all, he was on their side.

"Commencing patrol patterns." he announced to no one. The slightly distorted vibrato of his metallic voice ringing out from his helmet comms to declare his intentions. Weird but at least no one ever wondered what he was up to.

ZAKKARI & MICHAELIS
Blue eyes glittered with enthusiasm as he clutched the metal case containing his deck and assemble of stattuettes eagerly to his chest. "Uh, yeeeaahh, of course!" he responded, a hint of gold shimmering from the card he had slipped between his fingers. Zakkari, careful to place his case inside his satchel without damaging the contents, then proceeded to grab Michaelis' arm and thrust the card into his face. "SEE, RIGHT THERE!" he squealed with excitement, jumping up and down.

Michaelis simply side as he brushed his ebony locks out of his face, a non-verbal way of saying 'I really don't care about this'. However it was ignored as Zakkari then moved to Alexia. Showing her the golden card in all its nerdy glory.

"You see it, don't you?" he said, holding it with care, obviously very protective of his newest treasure. The card could be recognised by many players as one of the rare hero cards from the Legendary Edition, which was insanely expensive, however he didn't seem to be boasting about his collection this time, but rather pointing out something very interesting - the name on the card: Luciel Michaelis. A hero from the Demon War, and fellow cambion, like their quiet classmate. With long white hair, horns and striking blue eyes.

fdb88b67f9c7c6f2dd239d5eb88b843e.jpg

"They have the same name! Do you think their related?" Zakkari asked, before turning the card in his hands and trying to use it as a reference to determine how similar they looked. "Maybe all cambions have the same last name?" he murmured quietly. The moment of silence was brief, but calm, until Zakkari jumped on Michaelis once again. "Hey so is it your first or last name Michaelis, or both? Michaelis Michaelis?" Zak gave a snicker and didn't seem to mind being shoved off.

"Tch-" the dark haired boy clicked his tongue and ignored the dumb questions.

FREYA, LEONE & SAMAIRA

The fiery pyromancer glared daggers as the SHD passed her group, and gave a haughty scoff. Feya cast a look back into the classroom, her eyes searching, and giving a small sigh when she came up with nothing.

"I'm hungry, lets go," Leone commented, tugging Feya's sleeve, her stomach loudly announcing itself a moment later.

"But-" Feya began, adjusting her golden frames.

"She left already," Leone said. "Lets just go to the cafeteria. C'mon Sammy."

The water meister looked up and bobbed her head. "Um, kay," she said, though waited to see what Feya would do.

Feya, a little dejected, gave a slow nod and lead the two into the hall. Soon falling into a conversation about the possibilities of the field work after their lunch break.

Inotia Valefir

Stretching and yawning as class ended for lunch, she quickly got up and dashed for the door. She was hungry and was not going to do anything on on an empty stomach. Nearly bumping into other students and staff alike as she dashed for the cafeteria, she could be heard apologizing as she ran.

Arriving at the cafeteria and queuing up for a meal, she could barely contain her excitement at getting to head out on field work again. While she was able to handle the theory classes, her joy was getting to head out and go on a mission. Even though it was just a mock assignment, the chance of going out on adventures always made her excited.

Tetra sat down at the lunch tables after going through the line, getting lunch, and finally getting a Death Dew from the Dimensional Soda Dispenser. She enjoyed it due to the fact it had a lemon raspberry flavor. It was called Death Dew because of the color of the liquid.

As she sat, she sighed and opened her soda. She was excited to go, but she still wasn't over her breakup back from her dimension. "God Dammit Endi..." she muttered under her breath before she took a gulp of Death Dew.

She pondered in her mind about her dimension and sighed once more. She was homesick, but she was one of the very few from her dimension that actually had powers like this, the only one she knew of anyway. She just sighed once more and continued eating.

The fire elemental was scurrying around the lunch room with no interest in eating but instead trying to find her friend. Her books were in a small bag that was bouncing against her leg as she speed-walked around the room and trying to find the familiar, metal face. A couple students yelped when they accidentally brushed by Ustrina and felt the immense heat for a split second. Ustrina's clothing had some magical properties where it wouldn't burn while she was at her lowest temperature but it didn't cover her entirely and so a few people did have unfortunate experiences.

The elemental didn't even give the person who had burned themselves a moment of her attention and was already on her way. It took a few more rounds of the cafeteria to see that the metal man was nowhere to be found. He had to be around somewhere, field study wouldn't be starting for a while. The elemental headed out of the cafeteria and down a few hallways that was devoid from students for the most part. She was about to give up until she heard heavy footsteps and the familiar voice that sounded like someone was talking through an old radio.

She easily caught up with him and easily clambered onto his back like a child without any warning. His armor would be extremely warm to the touch but not damaged and Ustrina was certain the metal man wouldn't be able to feel it even if it was melting.

The two of them were an odd duo since they didn't speak much and hadn't known each other for very long despite their interactions. The robot had simply piqued the curious elemental's interest and so here they were.

"We have field study today, E. They might let me burn something," The elemental said with a mischievous grin that made her look a tad bit evil with her torch-like hair. "Sneaking off would be more exciting but you're a prig." She let out a small laugh that sounded more like a wheeze that showed she was actually joking about everything she had said. Sometimes you couldn't quite tell if what she had remarked was true.

"We should probably head back though, I doubt they want their students stomping around the halls during lunch break."

Stretching her arms and legs, Daiana relished in the feeling of standing up after hours of sitting and listening to Mrs Sahni. Her eyes scanned the room, some students were already out the door to grab a meal, some talking in their own little groups. The girl never really stuck to a particular group, maintaining the same level of friendship with everyone in the class. Her eyes fell on the blonde hair of the top scorer in class, already chirping about something; a green haired girl- she believed her name was Alexia; and then to the cambion next to them. Biting her bottom lip, she didn't know how she felt about the quiet boy. She had never talked to him properly since he's transferred just before mid-terms. Digging through her bag, she felt the smooth surface of her packed lunch box and took it out. She had always packed extra food, just in case she became hungry later during the day. Daiana popped the lid open and slid it under the box, revealing 6 neatly packed sandwiches cut into triangles. They varied between chicken and tuna, but had fresh pieces of lettuce and other condiments to make it more appetising. Sad to say, sorting sandwiches was the best she could do in the kitchen. Anything else out of a stove or oven is basically inedible if she had some sort of hand in it.

She sat her bag down to the floor before heading towards the trio with a smile as she hummed a tune that popped in her mind. "Hey Alexia, Zakkari," She greeted first before looking at the cambion in the middle and offered her packed lunch to the group. "Hi, I'm Daiana. We've never really talked properly before. Would you like to have a sandwich? As a token of a new friendship." Oops-- she wasn't suppose to say that last bit out loud. Either way, she hoped that they would accept her offer.

The girl stared at the card and the two boys, a bit alarmed at Zakkari's energy, but then again he always had some spark in him.
"I-I mean, sure they look alike." Whether she thought it was related to their one of many brooding students or it was the individual on the card sitting in that seat, it was clear as usual that Michaelis was not interested in speaking about it. Or anything for that matter. Truly, how did these two end up as friends?
"You know Michaelis, if you answered him he would ease up-" she would say before the voice suddenly arose, Alexia now turning her green eyes to the owner of the voice.

'Hey Alexia, Zakkari...Hi, I'm Daiana. We've never really talked properly before. Would you like to have a sandwich? As a token of a new friendship.'

She had seen the blue-eyed girl around, but as the girl spoke aloud, they had never talked until now. Alexia couldn't help but feel like the latter of that sentence was supposed to stay in a place no one could hear, but that wasn't her problem. "Hello, seems you already know my name.... and to be honest I would love a sandwich~" she said as she delicately extracted a fraction.

The likelihood of the sound being a significant threat to him was highly unlikely. Sure enough, his heads up display warned of a sudden temperature spike on the dorsal side of his suit. Normally, this would be cause for alarm but E already had a good idea of what or who exactly was super heating his armor in a vertical manner. Ether's head tilted upwards to see the youngish flame elemental comfortably seated upon his metal shoulders. If E could laugh, he probably would. "Sneaking off would be against the directives laid by academy. However, you are correct. We should be returning to our designated recreation zone." With that being said, Ether turned heel and headed back to area that the small female had spoken about.

It didn't take long for them to return and it seemed more people had gathered. Ustrina was always the talkative one of the two while E maintained his silent persona. The droid did wonder why she liked to ride upon his shoulders so much and it seemed like she just enjoyed talking down to people. A sentiment that the S.H.D. didn't really understand. slim slim

ZAKKARI & MICHAELIS
Michaelis shook his head. "Its fine.." he murmured as Zakkari threw his arm about his shoulder, dragging him along into the cafeteria. The ebon-haired boy gave a sigh and deadpanned his face, just letting it happen.

"Oh! Sup, Dai!" Zakkari greeted enthusiastically when their classmate came over baring gifts of food and, smiling brightly as he always did, Zakkari gladly took a sandwich, muffling out a thanks as he wolfed it down, and giving her a thumbs up. As he swallowed, he cast a glance towards Michaelis, a teasing smile played on his lips as his brow arched in a way that clearly tried to suggest something, though the other boy wasn't paying him attention. Instead, Michaelis blinked at the girl who approached him, offering a sandwhich, and silently accepted it to be polite.

"Ardyn Michaelis," he introduced himself, his voice was soft and cold, but lovely on the ears; a visual impression was of a fresh blanket of snow on a lonely winter's morning. He wasn't sure how to respond to the concept of friends, seeing as the amount of contact he had received for the most part was Zakkari, and now Alexia and Daiana.

"Hey, wait- I asked for your name, but you ignored me! But as soon as a couple o' girls ask, you tell 'em?" Zak pouted, but gave a roll of his eyes and snorted a laugh. "Well, they are pretty cute, I'll let you off the hook for that one.. Hey, lets go sit, 'kay?" he suddenly said, smiling as he bounded over to the table Daiana had left her bag by, and after vaulting on top of it, planted his feet on the seats and butt on the table. After putting his card away, done showing off for now, he pulled out his lunch and a plastic fork, and began to eat the cold chicken and rice meal.

Ardyn didn't bother to follow after the energetic boy, and took a small bite of the sandwich; chicken, lettuce and - he believed - mayonnaise. "Its good," he nodded, and took another, bigger bite.

FEYA, LEONE & SAMAIRA
The trio gathered at their own table, some other students from different classes migrated to meet with them, but they didn't stay long, leaving the three girls to eat in peace. Conversation drifted between them, though most of it being unimportant - from dreams of the future, to people they found attractive, that kind of stuff. However, at one point, their voices stopped being their chirpy, gossiping norm, to a quiet whisper. They leaned towards each other, casting glances at students around the cafeteria with solemn looks. This, quite obviously, was not the secret gossiping of school girls - but perhaps something much darker...

Tetra finished off her lunch and had the empty tray inform of her. She still had her Death Dew left but soon finished it off. As she put the can down, she saw Feyas group gossiping as normal, as she was basically a table behind then. But when the group got silent is when she got a bit weirder out.

It wasn't regular gossip, she could tell. The regular gossip was something she could hear. This was a bit weird, so she decided to stop it before it turned to something else.

Tetra got another soda, opened it, and then sat at Feyas table with a sigh. "Hello." She said with a basic tone. At first glance she could look like a boy, a closer look showed she was a girl.

FEYA, LEONE & SAMAIRA
"-reason why we're going to the palace," was the tail-end of the conversation, lead by the quiet Samaira, who immediately shut up with a small squeak upon noticing Tetra's 'sudden' appearance. She'd been too wrapped up in what she was saying that she hadn't even noticed. Both Feya and Leone looked slightly pale, but they forced a smile when they saw Tetra.

"Oh, hey there," Feya said, the tension evaporating, and she was back to her normal, bubbly self. She then gestured to Samaira. "Sammy was just telling us some real interesting news about the field work that was randomly put on us before lunch. Don't you think its weird that, like, they didn't notify us before class started? Or, like, yesterday? Really random, yeah?"

Leone seemed to not in agreement, meanwhile Samaira fidgeted uncomfortably with her fingers and averted anyone's gaze.

But then she seemed to stop her nice little act, tapping her chin in an exaggerated realization. "Oh, but, you're not the type to really care about gossip, hm?" Feya prodded, tilting her chin upwards in that typical preppy-girl fashion and flipping her fiery hair over her shoulders. "So, you girls would be fine to save this talk for later, yeah?" She looked at her two friends; Leone shrugged as she took a drink of grape Fanta, and Samaira nodded fiercely as though she was embarrassed - or even scared - to continue.

It was Samaira who stood up first - the last person you would expect to lead in this sort of situation, but her nerves seemed to have gotten the best of her, leaving her to run off out of the cafeteria. Leone moved to follow, but faultered. "She needs space," she sighed, taking a seat. "She didn't finish the story though.. you think she'll contin--" as if realizing that it was useless to even ask, she gave a defeated sigh, and groaned as she laid her head against the table in her arms.

"Well... if I weren't into gossip, would I have sat here?" She said with a small, nervous laugh. It's true she wasn't, but now she wanted to know about this palace. "But yea... It's like something actually happened and they are too lazy to deal with it themselves so it's a school assignment." Tetra said with another little laugh.

"I think she will continue after I am not with you..." she then had an idea. "but I do have some dirt on Zakkarai if you girls want to hear it... You know... I think its too dirty for you." Tetra said with a smirk.

"Ardyn.... huh ok." The girl is just being surprised left and right with different things, but it wasn't unpleasant, but at least now she knew the mysterious boy's first name. Not to mention that voice~

'Well, they are pretty cute'

Unfortunately, the moment was ruined when the card game obsessed boy decided to take a pot shot about her and this other girl's looks with flattery. She turned her head and coughed, trying to not let herself get flustered or awkward. Once she had let the possible heat divert from her face to stop any sort of blush she would turn back, continuing on with their conversation like nothing was said as she sat down across from Zakkari.

"It is good, I will remember you make good lunches Daiana~," she said as she was unable to help the urge to add a bit of sugar to her words as she spoke the name.

Taking a sandwich after everyone did, she giggled at the pair's interaction. A grin on her face when she learned his name. Ardyn's voice was so soft and soothing at the same time, she nearly didn't catch it. Daiana took a bite out of her sandwich and shook her head slightly with an amused expression as she wondered how odd it was that the two became friends. "I guess opposites really do attract." She mumbled out loud. Taking another bite and turned to face Alexia, gulping down the contents in her mouth before replying.

"Of course I know your name. Not in a stalker way. We've been here for a while now." Daiana reasoned before a brilliant smile shone on her face. Her eyes almost gleaming as both Ardyn and Alexia complimented her sandwich. "I'm glad you both like it!"

"Ah, but sandwiches are all I can make." She said bashfully, "Everything else is pretty hard to make."

FEYA & LEONE
Feya pursed her lips, but gave an agreeable nod. She didn't believe the that Tetra would come to listen to their gossip, but knew that more or less she would attempt to stop anything that remotely sounded like bullying. She gave a sigh as she reluctantly submitted the subject to its current dismissal. "Whatever, its fine," Feya sighed again. "I've never seen her look like that before." Her long ginger locks tousled as she shook her head lightly.

"What doya mean?" Leone asked as she lifted up her head, slightly confused as to why Tetra just started talking about Zakkari. Her eyes flickered to the blonde boy a few tables away as he sat on top of a table with his lunch. "Dirty?" she echoed, slightly curious.

Neither seemed to notice Arl's subtle eavesdropping.

ZAKKARI & ARDYN

Ardyn made a contemplative sound, gaging whether he should respond to Diana's remark about opposites, but decided against it, and followed the others towards the table, and slipped silently into the seat beside Zakkari.

"Still!" the blonde chimed in. "Even if that's true, its pretty good. Personally, I can live off of toasties and stuff. Sooo good!"

Ardyn gave a sceptical glance up at Zakkari. "That's not healthy."

Zakkari gave a snort. "Says the guy who lives off sweets-"

Called out, Ardyn dropped his gaze, cheeks reddening softly. He couldn't even think of a come back for that, so he resorted himself to just continue nibbling on his sandwhich.

Tetra smirked. "Now, I'm not gonna reveal my sources. But word on the grapevine is that he is getting his Dracamore cards separately from an outside source. This person is known to sell things worse than cards not on school grounds." Tetra giggled once more. She knew it would spread around the school, but she actually heard it.

She wasn't a bully by any means. So she followed up by saying "This means, someone is going off campus after hours and coming back with things to sell. And Zakkari knows who it is." she said as she finished off her second Death Dew. "Now remember... " she said as she stood up. "You didn't hear it from me..." she walked away and out of the cafeteria.

FEYA &LEONE
The two girls looked at each other as Tetra left. "Black dealings on school grounds?" Leone was the first to whisper. "Zakkari would do that?" she questioned, sending a glance his way, as briefly as possible, before looking at Feya. "Can we trust that Tetra is telling the truth?"

Feya pondered the news thoughtfully, and nodded. "I think we can. Plus, that boy is hiding something. Maybe not just this illegal card deals with some shady black dealer..."

"But something worse?" Leone finished, turning the sentence into a question. She paused. "That's not good."

Feya shook her head, and stood up. Leone following her lead. "That guy had bitten off way more than he can chew. With Tetra's information, I think its only reasonable that Zakkari takes a hit to his stupid ego." Feya then pulled out her phone and began to text, the two girls leaving the cafeteria in search of their friend.

Notes:

Seeing as she was not followed, Samaira will not reappear until the lunch bell rings. The opportunity to discover what she was telling Feya and Leone has passed.
Zakkari will now be targeted for bullying by anonymous students.

1) Ardyn Michaelis is a new transfer student and most things about him are unknown. He only transferred a few days ago.
2) Feya Goodson is considered one of the "popular girls", and is the leader and instigator of bullying. She can pull strings to have students indirectly targeted.
3) Leone Massar is known to be guided by her stomach, and can (in most cases) be bribed with food.
4) Samaira Joscorvik is the newest to Feya's clique, and her loyalty is questionable. She appears to either be shy, or frightened of Feya.
5) Zakkari Tempest is the hyperactive ball of positivity in the class. He loves Dracmore and food... however this is all you really know about him, oddly enough. He keeps most of his private life a secret.
6) Ardyn isn't allowed to use his magic at the school, and is forced to sit out of magical practice activities.
7) Feya may have many boy's after her, but she turns them all down - her reason is that she is in love and devoted to someone else. That person, of course, doesn't know her true feelings, but that's because they haven't officially met yet.
8) Leone is exceptionally loyal to Feya and will not, under any circumstances, betray her.
9) Samaira's brother is head of security at the Palace.
10) Zakkari, despite his trying, has never really been able to make friends who stick around - thus why he seems to be trying to cling to Ardyn so much.

Tetra felt so much guilt after what she had just done. "Fuck... They are gonna get Zakkari bullied..." she said with a face palm and went to go back to them, but they had left. She then did the one thing she felt was right.

Tetra went up to Zakkari and sighed. "Zakkari... I just want to say I am sorry in advanced." She said as she sat down. "I may have... Started a rumor you were black market dealing with a smuggler in the school in order to make you sound cooler to make friends but then I realized I told it to the most popular people in the school and they can twist things so it can make others bully who they want I am so sorry Zakkari I just wanted you to make more friends." she said all in one breath.

"I am really sorry." she said as she hung her head over the table. "You dont have to forgive me if you don't want to... I would understand."

Delphia Montgomery
Delphia had stayed after class to ask Mrs.Sahni a question about today's lesson. She despised the teacher's method of determining the class's mastery and because of this, took it upon herself to really learn the material the day it was taught. Because of this, she had missed half of the lunch hour.

She grabbed her bag from her seat and headed out of the classroom in the direction of the cafeteria. She noticed Sammy running out of the lunch room, clearly flustered. She hesitated a moment before deciding to continue on. Sammy was a new addition to the "popular clique" and she thought it best not to pester her. That girl had the potential to demolish her entire reputation in under an hour.

Her reputation wasn't anything special yet, as she had recently transferred here a few months prior. Delphia wasn't too fond of the idea of attending this school, and it took her several months to agree. She had been home-schooled growing up and the idea of being thrown in the middle of a social battlefield at this age wasn't very appealing to her.

She swung open the doors to the cafeteria and took in her surroundings. Nothing special, a few students were playing Dracmore, a couple others were gossiping about other students. Nothing was out of the ordinary. Today wasn't the day to branch out and make friends. Perhaps that would happen on their trip after lunch.

She took a seat at an empty table and began eating alone. She didn't prefer this, but it was better than embarrassing herself in front of somebody new. As she chowed down on her sandwich she imagined what their field trip would be like.

ZAKKARI & ARDYN
Looking up as he chewed the final forkful of his lunch, he gave Tetraa curious look, like a puppy who was confused. Tilting his head slightly, he listened to what she had to say. He swallowed, the words sinking in, and his cheery demeanour wavered. He tried to keep up a smile, though that fell, and he stayed quiet as he put his things away. This girl went out and tried to make him sound cool, only to get the opposite effect, and, now what. He looked down as his phone vibrated with a text message, but he ignored it and pouted thoughtfully. "Well... thanks for being honest," he said, rubbing the back of his neck. "It's, um, it's fine though... I forgive you. Its cool. Water off the duck."

Zakkari gave a chuckle and leaned back as he took out his phone. His eyes scanned over the message a few times, his fingers tapped along the metal edge. And then suddenly he flung the phone into his bag and bounded to his feet. "Well, I dunno about you guys, but I'm hyped for this trip to the palace! I wanna see real Exhalts in action - they're sooo cool!" he exclaimed, dragging Ardyn from his seat. "Let's go! The bell will ring soon, but I want a good seat on the bus~ You fine gals coming?" he added with a wink and a laugh. Ardyn just sighed and let it happen.

FEYA & LEONE
"Eh? Oh-" the brunette blinked, and smiled as she took the candy bar. "Yeah, 'time of peace' my ass," she snickered. "Black Dealers from outside smuggling stuff into the school is probably the best thing all day. They also closed down Class 14-B the other day, students were relocated, but they didn't say why." She paused a moment to open the candy bar and take a bite, nodding in approval at the flavour explosion in her mouth. She chewed and swallowed. "Oh, yeah, and there's something going on at the palace," she recalled, and then lowered her voice. "I don't really know the full details yet, but Samaira was saying that we're only going their under the guise of a field work assignment. They need extra hands after and incident - you know, Samaira's brother works as an Exhalt in the palace, right? So this is legit. That Tetra girl came in and Sammy just ran off, so we didn't get to hear the details..." her eyes lowered, "but she sounded scared. She's been acting like this all day - I'm worried about her."

The lunch bell will ring shortly.

Alexia Domsen

Alexia zoned out a bit as the person came over to apologize randomly, not really aware of the situation so she left well enough alone. Honestly? Sounded like unneeded drama. When she zoned back in was when she heard the card-crazed boy shrug it off and continue on with his rant, which meant Alexia could relax about being dragged into someone else's misery.

"Fine girls? Really?" Alexia groaned, rubbing her face with the old-fashioned compliment. "Now you are just trying too hard Zakkari, you won't win anyone over by doing that!" Truly the air mage was no expert on relationship advice, but her gut reaction was enough of one to warrant the advice. "But you are right, let's get moving before we get stuck in the middle of the bus, those seats are honestly the worse."
With that she would stand up, taking the book out of her lap and shaking her legs loose before turning to Daiana with a smile. "Want to come with us? I am sure it will be entertaining at least knowing these two."
