Your character/s arrive at the local port, having responded to the following advert posted on notice boards.
Crew wanted for an expedition to search for an ancient artefact. No experience necessary. You will be taught what you need to know. No fees. Bring your own clothing and minimal personal luggage.
Upon arriving, they Find the ship docked in the Port, and captain Christopher swinging gracefully in the rigging. He lands at the helm and begins testing various functions of the ship, including flap, engines, gravity, and so on. Something on one of the engines explode, and Christopher is immediately on it, putting out the small flames and doing a damage assessment. With a minor adjustments, he is back up on the deck and awaiting his crew by the gangplank. The ship is named U.S.S Pegasus
