The mid-spring air blew branches of the cherry blossom trees into rustling out some elegant cherry blossoms petals. They danced along the gentle caress of the wind and slowly floated onto the wooden stage. In front of the stage stood the biggest class of first years the academy had ever seen: thirty-six hundred students stood shoulder to shoulder watching as a distant, womanly figure made their way to the podium.
The sounds of steps could be heard coming towards the stage.
Erina Nakiri made her way out to the podium and looked out up the new-coming students.
Look at student to your left and then to your right, one of them won't be there once this opening ceremony ends.
