The Drowner popped like a balloon of blood as Geralt swung his sword through, splitting another monster from nave to neck. The monsters had become all too common these days, so much so that the citizens of the Town of White Orchard had pooled together 50 gold to hire a proper Witcher for the job. As a quiet settled over what had just been a war zone, Geralt turned over his left shoulder to see none other than Triss Merigold watching from a distance.
