Bio: Torrick is the son of a rather lovely, somewhat older couple, whom could be notably recognized only as the bakers of a small town not far from the main hub of Gatilar. Though he appears to have been raised as an only child, due to his mannerisms and stories he has told to those who actually bother to listen, he actually had an elder brother at one point. The pair had a very large age difference between them, and it wasn't too often they spent time together. His brother was a solider in the army for Gatilar, though he was definitely not a very high ranking one. Every once in a while while Torrick was growing up, his brother had found time to come home and spend time with his little brother. He lived a decent life, working alongside his parents in their bakery until they received word that his brother had passed away due to a sickness. Torrick was just barely 9 at the time. It arrived via mail, and enclosed was a ring, one that had been seen on his brother's hand before. He held onto the ring, wearing it on a chain around his neck, and life in the bakery continued steadily, though with heavy hearts at first. Dull, was one way to describe his life thus far, until a few months after he turned 15. It was then that the small family received a notice from the royal family, requesting that Torrick come to work in the castle. It was quite the surprise to his parents, and him, though they didn't really question it. They assumed he was going to work in the kitchens or something along that line, and after a day or two of preparing, he journeyed to the castle. When he arrived, however, he found that he was there for a very, very different purpose indeed. He'd been called upon to become the personal servant and companion of the crown prince. Ever since, he's remained in said position, though it was a bit of a rocky start for him to learn in the ins and outs of his new life.
Personality: Torrick is a very quiet person, with a usually level head. He's quite passive aggressive, and isn't often truly outwardly angry about anything. He's friendly and often can be seen with a pleasant smile on his face. He can sometimes be found trying to mediate or smooth over issues around him, in his own ways, though he can be easily overlooked or pushed aside. He's not a fan of attention, especially when it's focused on him or negative. He often hides in the shadows and is just there to help when he needs to be. He's not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but he's also no very dull. He may not know much or care much for politics, math, or science, but he has plenty of practical know-how and a decent problem solving brain.
Appearance: Torrick is rather average height wise as he stands at about 5 feet 8 inches. He has a head of dirty blonde hair, though at first glance it could be mistaken for a light brown, and his eyes have an almost sea green color to them. He's got a fair skin tone, just the same as the rest of his family. His hair is typically rather messy looking, though not in a bad way. Around his neck hangs a plain looking silver ring on a thin yet sturdy chain, which he's almost never without. It's typically hidden beneath his clothing, and he often avoids questions regarding said piece of jewelry.
Weaponry: He's okay with a blade, but not exactly the best around. Just enough to defend himself/Lyle if the need ever arose. There's typically a small dagger hidden somewhere on his person most of the time, though he'd rather not use it if it can be helped.
