The lady shrieked, pressing a button on the bottom of her desk to sound the alarm. Countless amounts of invesitgators charge down to the lobby to confront the threat at hand.

Surprisingly the humming was very calming to her, it felt...familiar. She was starting to calm down, slowly but surely and as he lifted her head and her bright amber eyes met his..she couldn't help but smile back at him. She knew his smile was fake, one trying to help her get better..but it wasn't the smile that made her react..it was just the fact she had someone that she could trust and confide in. "Thank you." She said, her voice still very soft and frail, but she meant it. She was so very thankful to him for just simply sitting here and listening to her..and now this? How could she repay him?

Jason walked out of the abandoned building he'd just finished "cleaning", and headed for the coffee shop he'd heard of down the street. With all of those homeless people gone, he'd have a place to stay for the time being. It was better than staying at his victim's home, since the CCG would soon investigate the house. The people passing by him were not important right now, as he'd already picked out some new targets to eat. No, today was the day he'd finally stop by the shop. The 24th Ward didn't have coffee shops, so the ghouls would learn how to brew it, and then go buy (or steal) some beans to make it for their starving families. Jason liked the smell and taste of coffee, especially after eating. He soon stood outside the cafe due to his very brisk walking pace.


The coffee's aroma immediately hit him upon entering, much to his delight. A lonely table near some plants caught Jason's gaze, and he quickly walked over and sat down. This gave him time to think on what he'd order.

He was glad he could make her feel better, Julius' eyes were a green, bright, vibrant and kindly. "It's no problem, truly. You are feeling better then?" He now gave a real smile, taking her by the hands, and slowly helping her to her feet. The man would then pat her head softly. "Now, let's get you cleaned up, you still need to meet your brother."

Kita tilted her head watching him, she didn't really know what to say and when she heard someone come into the shop she got up " I'll be back in a sec " she went put to the shop and up to the new customer " Hello welcome to Heiwa no Basho, what would you like? "

Axel sighed softly as she was helped up. Her lags hurt and felt kind of weak but held strong. "Yeah..He'd hate to see me like this.." She said with another sigh, her voice still soft but beginning to come back. Axel was truly grateful right now. She could spend a few more weeks with Alix, she'd officially made a friend, and on a little bit of a plus side..he was cute.

William sat on the couch and waited "Wonder what's gonna happen when she finds out who attacked me..." William said to himself

The presence of the girl snapped him from his thoughts. He looked at her blankly for a second, deciding on what emotion would be most appropriate for the situation. Happy was the one he settled on, and his face stretched into a grin. "Could I have some regular coffee with two teaspoons of sugar please?"

Kita nodded " Alright, coming right up... Would you like a breakfast muffin with that? " she asked in a slight teasing tone, she could smell the ghoul on him and smirked

Her tone and smirk pissed him off greatly but he decided not to let it show. "Yes, actually. Blueberry would be delightful." She really wasn't worth his time, he felt no particular interest towards her. This place would, hopefully, be the only place they'd ever meet. Girls like her were boring, plain, and worst of all, predictable. Jason's nose caught something awry from the scenery. Through all the scents and smells, a ghoul's aroma was there. But where? For now, it was best to sit back and relax. Right now was Jason Time, and no one would interrupt it.

Kita turned and walked off to the counter and poured a cup of coffee grabbing a muffin she put the sure in and took it over to Jason placing it in front of him she whispered only loud enough for him to hear " there's a speck of blood on your collar, you might want to clean that up " she then flicked her hair as she went back over to the counter and grabbed her cup if coffee she had made earlier taking a big drink, her stomach grumbled slightly and she tensed

Abel gave a pout, looming about as the guards came forth."now Why did you have to go and do that?I'm not here to hurt anybody. I'm simply here to enlist. By the by, where's the butcher?I'd like to have a word, of that's ok. "He tapped his finger against the counter,smiling.

He knew what Kita said but felt chained up as he was sitting so he tried his best to stand and stumbled around for a minute until he got to the door and made his way into Coffee shop. He felt the pain and took notice to none of it. "Why hello there." William said holding his side and using the table as a rest. He looked at the man and fear hit him for some reason but he ignored it "So how is everyone doing" He asked as he sat down. The pain grew from his lungs and through his body. He winced as he sat down but still kept a smile even if it seemed weak

Oh good. There was more people bothering him.


He sipped his drink carefully before looking at the person sitting with him. Again, he had to pick what emotion a normal person would show. And again, happy is what he picked.


"Hello, my name is Jason. And everything is wonderful, thank you." Oh how talking like this made the day much worse. If this kept up, he might have to go out hunting again.

Kita looked to William and sighed she rolled her green eyes and went to get him painkillers then went over to him " Come on, you can't go bothering the customers " she handed Will the pills then helped him up

He took and pill and followed her "Thank you, I apologize for leaving the couch." William said to Kita. he supported himself on her

They don't listen to their enemy, a ghoul. They begin firing RC suppressant rounds into the ghoul, weakening him dramatically. One walks up to him and exclaims, "You sure have a death wish Ghoul, coming to the heart of the CCG..The butcher, you mean Satou? She's in the 13th slaughtering your bretherin. Too bad you won't be there to help."

Drake had already left the cafe, starting to explore the streets, looking... for his next target. That coffee shop... He grew a bit suspicious about it, and might... pay a business tonight... He started to walk back to his apartment, and sighed. (@Anyone)

With the two now gone, Jason began to finally relax. His drink was nearly gone, as was that disgusting muffin he'd ordered. He'd practiced eating human food for appearances sake, but oh god how nasty it was. He really would have to go out hunting after all.


Jason stood up out of his chair, walking over to the counter where someone was working. "This is for the meal. I enjoyed it immensely." He placed some money on the counter, enough to pay for it and tip the ghoul waitress. Oh yes, he'd figured out her secret, and he would make sure to remember her scent. She was to be avoided at all costs, no matter what.

Kita sat William back down and came out to the counter looking to Jason she took the money " Thank you... We hope to see you here again " her stomach garbled a little again and she tensed up again

William just sat down and waited again for the girl to continue to converse amongst each other

She looked back at Claudia and smiled. "Of course." She says and closed the book. Then follows her back up the stairs. Understanding that whatever she needed couldn't be spoken out loud in the coffee shop. "What's up?" She asked with a smile.

Claudia looked at her with a look of irritation. "My pet doesn't get food until I say so ok?" She sighed and looked at her. "I am going to go and shower now. You can get back to work." Claudia started walking back up the stairs and if unitrupted would walk into the bathroom and closed locking the door. She sighed and walked over to the sink and splashed aome water in her face. "Got he is irritating. I thought he was broken."

As Jason left the cafe of sorts, he yawned quite a bit. Today had been tiring. Dealing with those homeless was a boring start, as was disposing of the uneaten corpses. Cleaning up all the grim and clutter was hard to do with a broom made of bones. He enjoyed making said broom while the guy was alive, though. That counted for something at least. With his....friends coming over, Jason would soon "set up shop" and establish his group here. With the right pieces in place, he could finish what his master had started all those years ago.

Okay... That just seems like a very counterproductive plan... No!! It'll work, trust me. Just follow my instructions, okay? Ugh... Fine... I'm trusting you... Alright!! Step one, get their attention again. I know, counterproductive, but we need them. This better not get me killed... It won't. You're too valuable to Claudia to be killed. Fine, how do I do it? More blood? Yeah, but how? That's your problem.





Ky awoke suddenly, and studied the room. Claudia padded his shackles, so he couldn't use that trick... He thought for a moment, then gave up. The room was barren... There was no way. Unless it was internal... Or... He looked to his arm, and sighed a bit. He looked to his bicep, and bit into it, tearing the flesh, and a small amount of muscle out. He screamed in pain, and spat the foul tasting chunk of meat out. Blood began pouring from his wound, creating a puddle on the floor. The blood was thicker than before... Much smellier.
