  Appearance Description: Kuro has light-blue eyes - though they are typically squinted, making it hard for strangers to determine the colour - and dark-brown hair of medium length, shaved at the sides with a smooth transition. His casual attire consists of mostly monochrome-coloured clothes, along with generic pants and white sneakers. There is a mischievous quality to his face, which most likely stems from his squinted eyes and unusual irises.   Kagune: Kuro possesses four incredibly-flexible yet physically-weak tentacles, resembling crimson bones with a marrow-like tissue in-between the joints. While the tentacles themselves are underwhelming in terms of strength, Kuro is able to bind them together to form powerful weapons of considerable speed; his forte being the manipulation of form and trajectory. The tentacles can also act independently and do not rely upon each other to cause damage. Unlike the majority of Rinkaku-types, Kuro’s regenerative ability is abysmally weak and he is unable to sustain large amounts of damage in short succession. To counteract this weakness, he has trained himself in speed and agility, presently competing with the likes of Ukaku-types.

    Kuro comes across as a light-hearted and kind individual, often smiling and making playful comments. Deep within, however, he possesses hidden impulses which can cause his personality to completely turn around at times; rarely occurs outside of deeply personal/life threatening situations. Due to his former career as a stage-actor, he can effectively keep his emotions at bay through acting. He likes cats and is an avid smoker.

    Kuro was born to the wealthy family of Miyazaki, which has, throughout the years, produced a number of notable stage-actors, located in Nakano ward, Tokyo. Following in his family’s footsteps, Kuro enrolled in acting classes as early as in kindergarten and has since continued to hone his craft, though, lately, he has been unemployed and dedicated to killing ghoul investigators after his sister’s death at their hands. While not classified as a binge eater, he regularly indulges in feeding for pleasure rather than need. He lives alone in an apartment near Nakano Ward, Tokyo, a few miles away from his family house.   This red haired male usually has hazel eyes when not provoked, and will usually wear the colors red and black, since he is quite partial to those colors. However, his pants and shoes are fairly generic black jeans and sneakers. He has an unusual scar across his back as a result of an incident with another ghoul several years previous.   His bikaku kagune sprouts from his tail bone/coccyx, and can be efficient at medium-range. His kagune takes a tail like appearance, and his kagune can be extremely effective against rinkaku users, as his bikaku kagune can easily cut them apart. However, the bikaku kagune is considered weak against ukaku users, since the ukaku user can overwhelm the bikaku user with their long-ranged attacks. Arata's strengths lie in his versatility, since he has a decent offence, defence, and speed. Because of this, his kagune is considered a trump card.

    On the surface, Arata can seem very arrogant, often boasting about his accomplishments that no one can confirm is true. On the inside, however, he can be very callous. He will always find a way to hurt someone who opposes him in any way possible. Why he does these things are beyond most, as he simply states 'it's entertaining'. His personality contributed to his A~ status, as his string of murders are considered erratic and unpredictable.

    Arata has lived in Tokyo for as long as he can remember, and his upbringing seemed fairly average. His father held a good job, while his mother usually stayed at home. The reason of this? To protect him from the ghouls of the 14th ward. He had lived there since his childhood, so he was familiar with the feeling of being preyed on by other ghouls. Eventually, he witnessed cannibalism for the first time. His mother force fed him the remains of a dead ghoul that she had killed protecting her son. He had already lost his innocence, but the thought of cannibalism still disgusted and scared him. At the age of seven and a half, he had been fed his first ghoul. At least, the first ghoul he knew about.
    
    
    As soon as Arata could properly use his kagune, he would hunt his own prey. Human or ghoul, it didn't matter in the 14th ward. He would also soon develop his own strategy; make each kill as unique as possible. Sometimes his attacks would be regular, sometimes they would be few and far between. Every hunt, it would be a new scenario. But they always ended the same; the people he devoured would seem to drop out of existance, body and all. Thus his alias, Soul Stealer.
