June 12th, 2017. Vegas Prone, an internationally-wanted assassin, is finally caught, and imprisoned in a maximum security prison in an undisclosed part of England.
November 4th, 2032. Fifteen years later, the human race has become something bigger, something more. As overpopulation became a growing issue, plans were made, and in 2026, a technology called Frion was released, which allowed planets to be terraformed with ease. On Mars, a sprawling mega-city known as Ultima was built, and millions of criminals were flown out to live there in solitude. The day has come for Vegas to finally be moved to Ultima. A maximum security spaceship is prepared, with some of the best soldiers ever to be found put on board.
November 4th, 11:30am. The spaceship Icarus departs with Vegas Prone onboard. Destination: Ultima.
November 4th, 12:15am. A radio transmission is recieved from the Icarus. All is well.
November 4th, 12:27am. A second transmission is recieved. What is heard appears to be screaming, but nobody in mission control can really be sure. After 30 seconds, the transmission ends, and attempts to make contact fail.
November 4th, 12:57am. After half an hour of trying, no contact has been made. The Icarus has gone dark. Mission control has no choice but to label the mission a failure, and the crew is presumed dead.
November 6th, 6:43pm. An official on Ultima contacts Earth, stating that a strange UFO has been spotted in the atmosphere.
November 6th, 6:48pm. The UFO is identified as the Icarus, and it soon comes crashing down into the wasteland outside the city.
November 6th, 8:22pm. Six criminals are retrieved from Ultima. They are given an offer. They will go to the Icarus, search it for any clues as to what happened and where Vegas has gone. They will then track him down and try to bring him in. If they complete their mission, they will no longer be seen as criminal, and will be free to return to Earth. All accept.
In the darkest depths of space, Vegas is on the run, and the only ones who can find him are a ragtag bunch of criminals. But space can change you, for better or for worse, and for these six, nothing will ever be the same. To discover the truth and win their freedom, they truly will have to go the end of everything.
