It has been five years since the defeat of Malefore, AKA The Dark Master. Since then, the Dragon Realms have been steadily repairing itself, reattaching the regions to each other. Since then, it has been relatively peaceful in the Realms. However, there has been a series of strange occurrences that has been getting the attention of the remain Guardians. In the Swamp, there has been reports of mysterious zones of Darkness popping up and not disappearing while in the Tall Plains, Atlawa tribesmen have been reporting seeing strange creatures in black robes in the distance who always disappeared when they tried to get close enough to see what they are. Most shocking however, is reports that creatures made entirely out of Darkness have been attacking travelers in Dante's Freezer.
Even worse is the fact that Eggs and Hatchlings have been vanishing from the Dragon Temple without a trace within the last year. The Guardians, realizing that whoever is behind these thefts and kidnappings would probably return, have kept the remaining Eggs and Hatchlings under close guard. This strategy seems to have worked for there hasn't been a kidnapping in two months. You are a student of the Dragon Temple, under the tutelage of the wind dragon Zephyr. You, like all the other Dragons, have been on edge over the disappearances happening in the Temple. But, ever since the last kidnapping two months ago, you have let your guard down a bit, thinking that the thieves have been scared off by the increased presence of adult dragons guarding every new hatchling. You are currently out with your teacher Zephyr, who is teaching flight combat stratageies, unaware that a great adventure that will take you between worlds is about to occur.
