Abilities:
1. Forge-Master: Before his exile, Thondruick was apprenticed to one of the best Blacksmiths in all of Oshus. Thondruick learned and mastered all they could teach him, and he began to create works of pure mastery in ways never thought possible before. Rumor has it he even forged parts of the armor and weaponry the King uses.
2. War-Leader: Thondruick is a talented warrior and general, having fought many battles against the vile Hysh, personally leading his clan in the extermination of several nest groups. His tactics were known to be harsh and brutal, though undeniably effective.
3. Two-Handed Warrior: Thondruick is a skilled warrior when it comes to dual weapons, especially two axes. Very members of his clan, or other clans for that matter could match him in one on one combat. He personally took the lives of numerous enemies of his people before being forced into peace.
4. Charismatic: Thondruick has a way with words few people can resist. He can inspire others to go to great feats, or turn their opinions around to align with his own. He has brought enemies together after years of bitter rivalry, and united though who swore to never see each other again, often over a cup of ale.
Personality: Thondruick is what many would call bi-polar. He will either be an extremely out going, extroverted person, who is quick to make friends and joke with all. Other times, he is a cold and calculating individual, known for streaks of cruelty and sadism. These two aspects war with each other in Thondruick's mind, leading to spouts of panic attacks and paranoia.
Despite all of this, Thondruick is very loyal, and will go to any length to look out for those who he counts as true friends. He is brash and straight forward in combat, preferring to always take the fight to the enemy rather than wait, an idea he takes very seriously in all aspects of his life.
History: Thondruick Alerock was born to the Alerock clan in Oshus. From his earliest years, Thondruick's life was spent training in combat, to join in the war against the Hysh. The Alerock clan was the most dedicated of the Dwarf clans to fighting the spider women, having been the first to fall prey to them. Entire generations of Alerock warriors were raised to fight and die in the war, and nothing else.
Thondruick became just another soldier in the war, though he quickly stood out. He became a leader among the Dwarven forces, leading them in brutal and unrestrained purges of several Hysh nests. Under his leadership, the war that had so long been locked in a stale mate slowly began to gain momentum. Rumors abounded that Thondruick would soon become the next King of the Dwarven people when he finally wiped out the Hysh.
When the Kingdom of Light marched into Oshus, Thondruick initially wanted to fight against the foreign invaders to the last, though his allies counselled him otherwise. Rather than becoming the King, another was chosen over Thondruick. He united with the Hysh to end the war that had taken so many of Thondruick's kin, professing peace and unity under the leadership of foreigners. Gathering what warriors he could, Thondruick tried to launch a renewed assault against the Hysh. His forces were betrayed, and surrounded before they could move. In an effort to restore and solidify the fragile peace, the new King exiled Thondruick from Oshus.
Alone, Thondruick wandered the world, going from town to town offering his talent as a smith to sustain himself. He eventually ended up in the Kingdom of Darkness, where he established a forge for himself. He has remained there for some time, his eye ever turning back to Oshus with a desire to free his people.
