He literally never looses a thing, and when he lies, whatever he lies about becomes true (i.e. him not being athletic but saying he is. He would therefore become more athletic, thus making his lie not a lie. However he can't simply say "I'm invincible" and become it, y'know?).

Oh OK! Got it now. Thanks, that cleared it up a lot. :D Also, yeah, no invisible stuff. But that's a cool power. Unique. Different. I like it. :P But yeah, thanks for clearing it up for me.
 
Name: Dedecus Dedecanius

Gift/Power: He can summon spirits and demons to fight for him. He has a spirit companion that took the form of a bear when it tethered itself to him. The bear appears to be normal enough however and can change form depending on the need. His summons are the most commonly used form of his abilities but he has another outlet of spirirt lightning as well, he uses fistpacks which he charges with spirirt lightning to enhance the damage. The last ability helps him move faster, it is sort of like nightcrawler's ability to transport between realms but his is exceedingly more dangerous and used much less often simply because of the possibility of running into a demon from the further.


Weakness: His weakness is claustrophobia, or beings binded/confined at all. He spent so much time roaming that he hates the idea of being 'tied down' He is also vulnerable Distilled water. His father was weak to all forms but he is only weak to water that has no life within it.


Family/Pets: Spirit Bear Udyr : He appears to be a normal bear but has a slightly translucent purple tint about him. He can change form if he needs to but prefers to be in bear form.


History:He took a different road then his father when he started developing his abilities. His father controlled spirit lightning but was too inclined to use it directly to use it to what he saw as it's full potential. Dedecus spent two years alone in the woods in a cave doing nothing but eating, drinking, and practicing his connection with the spiritworld. He found that contrary to popular belief that when people died the went to THREE places. One known only as the further, one known as the beyond, and the other was located on an astral plane parallel to our own world. dedecus explored this alternative plane for two years. He found that while he traveled this plane it was clear that he wasn't naturally there. He could not touch anything because his physical body here, was like a spirit in our world. Through communication with spirits he learned of a hidden ability within his father's spirit lightning that he had inherited, it didn't have to be used strictly for attacking physical beings. He learned that he could either request or demand the aid of spiritual beings in his fights. He could literally yank beings from one plane of existence to another


Personality: He is a bit stand-offish. Unlike his father he doesn't interact with people unless he has too and similar to his father he often sounds like an ass when he tried to interact with others.


Other: His father is a hero in the prequel, Alteriel Dedecanius.

Also question for blitzy, is there a time constraint on that or something? Just wondering if you can lie about being king of the universe and suddenly be king of the universe or something lol

Gift/Power: The ability to mend himself into a rock form.


Weakness: Water


Family/Pets: One brother.


History: He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, with one brother, in a military family. He didn't discover his gift right away however. He was quiet all through school because his parents left often on deployments, so he was left looking up to his older brother. He could never really find himself through highschool, and watched as his brother eventually left him as well for the Marines, he knew he was going to end up going the same path as well, because he wasn't doing that great in school.


When he turned 18, he enlisted in the US Army, still unknown about his power, shortly after he finished training he joined the 1st Infantry Division in a deployment in 2011 to Afghanistan. This is where he discovered his power, where a roadside bomb and an ambush stranded a friendly Marine unit that suffered 4 wounded and 2 killed in action, waiting on reinforcements. His unit was trying to assist the Marine unit stuck under enemy fire, realizing it was his older brothers unit, but then their unit themselves became under enemy fire.. He watched as a vehicle up ahead lit on fire and was about to explode, so he was contemplating charging forward while in combat, but he knew it was suicide, still he decided to attempt it, as he charged out, he gained his power. He was confused about what was happening to him, but quickly he charged forward, shrugging off multiple bullets in his rock like form, and he saw his brother, he ripped off his dogtags and took them, along with the two other marines, then he pulled the wounded out of the vehicle and carried them back over to the friendly forces.


For his actions he was awarded the silver star, however he was discharged for a vital injury, a bullet to the leg that would never fully heal. Even though it did. So he finds himself practicing this ability more and more so he can control it when its needed to help others, as he knew it was his sole job.


Personality: Kind, he doesn't have that military attitude anymore, however he still has that soldier ( put others first, and protect civilians ) instinct.


Other: He still wears his dogtags, and the dogtags of his brothers because his brother's unit was there on that day, and he was killed.

Name: Alteriel Dedecanius


Gender: Male


Age: 41


Appearance: Tall and more built than he was when he was 21. He has a scruffy 5 o'clock shadow and his eyes occasionally flash with green lightning.


Gift/Power: Spirit lightning/Mimic. He honed his focus on offensive ability and human body manipulation through his spirit lightning. His son took a different road. He is able to shoot large blasts that affect the human neurological system and their souls themselves. He can transform into a bolt of spirit lightning himself and he can tether souls to this realm, not nearly to the extent of his son however. He also has the ability to mimic other peoples forms gaining their powers and their weaknesses. His converted powers are not as prominent and the weaknesses of that individual affect him much more.


Weakness: Water, Whenever water so much as a drop touches him, he is pained and loses his spirit lightning then having to revert back to Mimic. Mimic is ONLY able to be used in his weakened state and it is extremely painful.


Family/Pets: Shelby, His son Dedecus, and his daughter.


History: Alteriel grew up in a terrible neighborhood with a family that cared more about their drugs than their children. Eventually his mother chose to change the way she lead her life so the he, his brother, and his sister could lead better lives than she ever could. After he left his mother's he became, according to most, overly paranoid and skeptical. He spent most of his time alone because he felt safer that way. His house is kind of a death trap to anyone but him. Eventually as he got older he calmed down a bit and began to take on a few friends who ended up betraying him, at least in his mind, but openly letting people know where he lived. He is bitter when you first meet him but he is able to be warmed up to. Soon after the crisis with STW began he started to realize that his cold-hearted tact was pushing him away from the others. After being shot an nearly killed by Tom Alteriel opened up to the others, especially Shelby. After he and the others defeated the evil he and Shelby created a school for troubled children and had two of their own.


Personality: He has become more approachable with age but is still awkward though now it is by choice. He figures that if someone is not willing to accept the truth based on facts, then they have no need to speak to him.


Other: He passed his knife down to his son. The knife has a compass on the bottom and is engraved with the words Illict est haud virtus fidens.
 
Name: Tamara “Tamar” Dedecanius (It got me wondering what is a dedecus, is it really a name or something else??)


Gender: Female


Age: 16


Appearance: No passing of the red hair noooooo...


Gift/Power: Telekinesis


Weakness: Lifting/moving things to heavy could be damaging her. She can easily lose control since her powers aren’t that enhanced yet.


Family/Pets: Shelby, Alteriel, Dedecus


History: Tamar was born the second child, but always felt like an only child since her brother wasn’t around much. She spends most of her time in her room, unless she’s skipping school of course which is pretty much every day. She wonders when the school board will be knocking on her door…


The relationship with her parents is a bit strained since she thinks that they (just like everyone on this planet) don’t understand her.


Personality: Sarcastic, big mouth, a rebel…clearly she’s suffering from angry teenagers syndrome.


Other:


 
It's more of a title. A basic translation means Dishonor or Injustice,mainly through combat. I use it as a way to describe the world and myself because the only way to change the world the only way to kill dedecus and bring Macto(Honor) Is to become part of the Dedecus.
