Captain R. Stewart of the RMAS Richfield is now hiring crew members for long-haul deliveries across The Expanse.

Experience needed depends on role chosen.

Salary is R200 per month, including bed, food and other necessities.

Safety is not guaranteed, but bravery is rewarded generously with Mineral of varying quality and ability.

- Negotiator (Needs to be able to persuade and negotiate with clients. Must be able to gather and purchase goods according to the ships needs. Job history must include a Diplomatic aspect.)

- Chief Mechanic (Must be able to repair damage made to vessel, if any. Assist Gunner if help is needed. Needs 5+ years of experience in Mechanical Repair or manufacturing. Mentor Assistant Mechanic if needed. Job history must include this.)

- Assistant Mechanic (Must be able to assist Chief Mechanic to repair damage made to vessel, if any. Needs 2+ years of experience in Mechanical Repair or manufacturing. Job history must include this.)

- Gunner (Must be familiar with military equipment, vessels, and weaponry. Defend vessel if needed. Military background is preferred and must include in Job history.)


- Navigator (Must be familiar with compass and navigation systems. Must be able to identify other vessels and keep vessel on route. No further experience needed.)


- Chef/ Potion maker (Must have degree in Mineralogy and studied it further for 2+ years. Must be able to craft potions from Mineral gathered. Needs to assist Mechanic in restoring magical property to vessel. Preferably a good chef too.)

Reason for interest: I want to explore the Expanse like my grandfather and great-grandfather, and maybe make a legacy for my own instead of riding on theirs.

Brief history: I was born into the aristocracy, thanks to the Expanse mining empire my grandfather Riley Scott founded and the recognition my great-grandfather recieved as one of the first to explore the Expanse. My grandfather wanted me to play a role in the company. He would take me up in the airships with him, teaching me the ins and outs of mining, showing me how to navigate the ship, and pointing out the places my great-grandfather had discovered.

But my parents wanted me to grow up like a proper English maiden. So when my grandfather died when I was twenty, my hopes of traveling the expanse fell down around me. I decided to run away, and have since been saving and waiting for a chance to travel on an airship.

Role: Something with Engineering or perhaps some good ol chemistry. Scott usually prefers to work with machines but he can do ... other things. He's not necessarily great at these "other things" But he will attempt the job whatever it may be. (Just note if he becomes gunner someone might lose a head and maps are very foreign to the fellow.)

Education and Occupational History: Scott left college with a major in engineering and a minor in chemistry. After college, Scott managed to take on the position of engineer on a vessel with no name. He worked on this ship for a good 3 years. It wasn't necessarily a pleasant job but the pay was decent.

Reason for a job: It's been a while since he has felt the gentle clouds caress his cheek. Plus he is out of a job, but you should primarily focus on the first answer.

Criminal history: Remeber that unnamed ship that he worked on? they weren't sailing for the fun of it. He has had a few accounts of armed robbery, smuggling, gambling, and the occasional human traffickier.

Brief history: Scott has always been a peculiar man with even more peculiar habits. He has always been a roamer, he rarely settles down and adjusts to new scenarios fairly well. The only thing really important about his past would be his previous job, other than that there's not much to talk about.

anything else?: Scott is one of those special snowflakes, he has a very eccentric personality along with a gambling, drinking, cigarette problem and the occasional chem.

Name: Roginald Mk2 (play on the names Roger and Reginald)

Role: Navigator

Education and Occupation History: Designed with rudimentary sentience, Roginald Mk2 is built as a navigational partner. Equipped with built in compass, gyroscope, and set of magnifying glasses in front of it's right eye; this little robotic avian can detect things from far away, whilst still maintaining the course of any voyage at all times. The Mk2 has been field tested a number of times and was almost fit for mass production; the only thing holding Roginald back was the fact that it is steam based, as in always needing a source of water to replenish it's tank.

Reason for Job Application/ interest: Had it's "programming" modified by the creator to work towards finding crystals that would serve better as a power source for automatons; doesn't know this would make it obsolete and fit for demolishing.

Criminal History: The Roginald Mk2's patent may have been part of a fierce legal battle, with the results not really being set in stone. It's creator still holds all the rights to the Mk2 and other robots of it's design in the future, but there's still some investigating being done.

Brief History: A devious mechanics company set about toward creating automatons that would be able to react better and fulfill situations better than living crew. Not having enough funding, they were only able to hire a lesser known designer to make smaller creations. One of the first was a number of metallic avians to serve on crews as navigators, repairing duties (for places people can't get too very easily), or even pest control. The Mk2 is the newest series, with only one made so far; unfortunately, the parent company did not see it fit for production yet, since it required water at various points of the day. Only after a more efficient energy source is found, will reactive automatons become more widespread.

Any other details missing?: The area for intake of water is located on the bottom of Roginald Mk2's left talon. It can fly, up to a point; it's more of a large burst of steam out the bottom of the automaton to propel it into the air. Being made of lightweight metals make this cost less from the water tank. It's small amount of intelligence is thanks to a series of gears within it's head with ever so minor deviations in the teeth and pathways blocked off or open at various times.

I used to be a part of the pirate group known as The Black Cats. I was with them for quit a few years before I walked out with a good share of loot.

Brief History (Be brief, only for security purposes):
As a little girl, I had to raise myself. Raising myself made me learn it's better to listen than to be heard, as on the streets it helps you survive. I was only the age of 7 when my parents passed, and the age of 15 when The Black Cats captain took me in. I was with the black cats after that, learning their ways. They started me on potion making and eventually let me learn to use my own rifle. I left them and my adoptive father to venture out on my own.
