For centuries werewolves have lived outside the vision of the human eye, yet some knew of their existence and hunted them. Two teenage werewolves would find themselves in the clutch of the hunters, doing everything to survive.

Darren smirked as his father’s voice entered his mind. The old man would probably have a heart attack if he saw him out here, crouched down by a small stream outside the pack’s territory. But it was quiet, except for the sounds of nature that surrounded him. He could hear birds chirping, the rustling of small mammals, and water running in the stream and flowing across rocks. It was peaceful. He liked it here.


He fell back into a sitting position, pulling off his boots and rolling up the end of his pants before dipping his feet into the cool water. He thought about going for a run in his wolf form, perhaps he would. Or he’d simply just take a nap here. It was warm and comfortable enough to.


He leaned back, allowing his back and shoulders to fall to the ground. He stared up at the sky, folding his arms behind his head as a sort of pillow. The rays of the sun brushed across his face, giving him their warmth. A little breeze ruffled his hair. Ah, yes, he could definitely nap here.
