Poetry The things I write about

KickStab

Seeking Self-Worth
And I swore I saw the stars burn out
And all the castles have crumbled down
But then a shimmer blinds my pheripheral
And that's when I saw your face

Then the cold which travelled from the south
Gave me shivers but removed my doubt
I knew then that I need your warmth
I tried looking for you but ended up running about

For I saw you atop this mountain
So steep and impossible to climb
I can only gaze at you and the beautiful morning
Think of disappearing and ending my life

For we met at an unfortunate time and place
Even then I still catch your gaze
I wonder if our hearts beat the same
I wonder if you even know my name
