The Syrian Conflict enters it's 17th year, as Israel enters the conflict once more while the United States and Russia increase their forces in the country. Both Russian and American fleets are stationed in the Mediterranean, resulting in many naval battles between the two forces. Meanwhile back on land, Israeli forces take most of Southern Syria and now stand on the outskirts of Damascus while Russian and American Forces battle in Western Syria.

The United Kingdom is the first to join the US in their war against Russia, aiding the US fleet fight the Russians. Putin was not happy about this, at all. His generals lay out a plan for the bombing and invasion of Britain (But that's a story for another day).

Back in Syria, US forces aid rebel forces take Hama, Homs, and Palmyra. during the battles of the same name. Up North, Kurdish Forces take Manbij and Al Bab from the Islamic State. The Islamic State retaliates by attempting a bold attack on the Kurdish Controlled city of Al Hasakah. Ultimately, the offensive failed thanks to allied bombings. The Islamic State has lost a considerable amount of fighters in that battle, paving the way for an allied counter offensive. Kurdish forces take Raqqa and Deir Az Zor while Israeli and US forces kick ISIL out of lower and central Syria. ISIL now had no territory or fighters left in Syria and the Syrian government is now on their last legs.

The remaining government forces are stationed at their last remaining city, Aleppo. Russian forces deploy a few Spetsnaz squads to the city. This was not enough, however, as for after a long 2 month siege of the city, the Assad forces were forced to surrender. The Syrian Conflict has come to an end. Syrian president, Bashar Al Assad, was tried by a US court and executed for his war crimes. The fighting in the Middle East, however, has not yet come to an end.
