Prologue
In the ashes of the Great Northern War, Sweden was defeated and King Charles XII was dead. Sweden had lost a lot of their land, including Finland, which made that hatred for Russians deepen, and as the 19th century came to an end, tensions rose across Europe and war was declared, one of the nations in the war was the Russian Empire, boasting a giant army of over 1 million, Sweden decided that they would stay neutral in the war, but a radicalist would say otherwise.

Chapter 1 - The Caroleans March Again
As 1915 started and the Russians were being quickly overran, a radicalist started to show his face to the public, and he already lots of support from the civilians and military, his name was: Carolus Adolf, nicknamed “Reborn Rex” by his party’s followers, his party supported a Constitutional-Monarchy while also giving tons of power to the King or Queen, Carolus’ party was named the “Reborn Caroleans”. He gathered up his followers, armed them, and marched on Stockholm. When he got there, he demanded to see King Gustavus V, when the King met with Carolus face to face, he demanded the Throne be given to him, and his request was, surprisingly, accepted. Carolus was crowned the next day.

Right as he ended the celebrations, he began writing up letters and plans, one of the letters was to the German Empire, it’s purpose was to ask if they could join the Central Powers and join the war against Russia. The plans were about strengthening the Army and increasing the amount of combat-ready ships and landing craft they had. Letters were sent between the King and Kaiser, and eventually they came to an agreement that Sweden could join the Central Powers if they were able to invade Russian-controlled Finland and navally invade Estonia. Swedish volunteers began intense training to make the new “Carolean Marines”, an elite unit of naval infantry meant for naval invasions. A few days after that, the new “2nd Swedish Empire” was declared, and Swedish troops began to set up bases along the border with Russian Finland.

As more and more territory was lost to the Germans, the Russians began getting desperate, they were running out of food and supplies and barely had any blankets for the Winter season. The confident Carolus Adolf joined the build up on the Russian border with his own regiment of elite Royal Guard.

(There are probably TONS of mistakes and stuff in this, I'll update over time!)
