[Dude, Where's My Daiklave] Misuro Atodi

  • Misuro Atodi is a retired veteran of The Realm's Military. Coming from a long a long line of military men, Atodi's choice to enter the armed services when he came of age was only natural, and his family fully supported his choice. During his grunt years he fought and somehow managed to survive against most horrors Creation can throw at him, and he's still standing. He even had a chance encounter with one of the Dread Anathema. She cleaned his clock something fierce, but left him beaten and broken instead of dead, to his eternal fortune.

Moving up in the ranks afforded Atodi additional privileges alongside additional risk. On one hand he was no longer the lowest member of the totem pole and could give the order to retreat if he felt it was the sensible thing to do. On the other hand with rank came more dangerous assignments, and his unit suffered considerable losses against dangerous foes that his superior officers couldn't be bothered to assess properly.

Retirement came early for Atodi after one disastrous raid on a bandit encampment. His superior, wishing to show a visiting dignitary the strength of a Realm's military, ordered him to attack without proper intel. A God-Blooded lead he bandits and their raids against Realm towns, and he made short work of Atodi and his crew. Shamed by the defeat, Atodi's superior moved to have him discharged from the military.

Looking for a purpose in life, Atodi joined the Immaculate Order, thinking that he could at least put his skills in battle to use against the spiritual threats of Creation. He may have had a bit of a deathwish during this period, having shamed his family and lost his unit not to an enemy, but to the results of political grandstanding. Somehow he managed to pass the initiations, and was on his way to full Monk-Hood, when a vision of the Sun appeared before him...

You are very specialized in just a few skills. Are you sure you don't want to spread some of those points around into a few more areas? It is not a requirement, just a suggestion.

Point-buy systems being what they are, I'm more or less okay with the current build, thanks :)
