The creed, noone knows where it came from, noone knows how to get rid of it, but everyone knows exactly what it is: "For each sin, you shall pay the price." Countless amounts of people have died to it, and countless more will continue to do the same. Society has collapsed in on itself, the solitude caused by fear driving many insane as people struggle for their lives each night, staying inside is impossible as the monsters always find a way inside, so the choice is: Fight, or die.

Those that choose to flee will spend the entire night fleeing from their sins until the break of dawn, that will cause the beasts to vanish back to wherever they have come from, but everyone becomes tired eventually..

Those that choose to fight will struggle to fend off the beasts until they manage to land a fatal blow, causing the manifestation to disappear, but this is not a permanent fix, as the monster will always return the next night.

Rumour going round has it that defeating someone else's monster will remove one of your sins, but noone has the courage to try it, after all, betrayal, greed and the will to survive is prevalent in all those that live in this world.

So, the main premise of the roleplay will be that everyone's sins will have physical manifestations that will hunt down the sinner in an attempt to kill them, the sinner has either two options, run away and hope to escape the sin beast or attempt to fight the beast. The sins are depicted as a beast/monster made completely out of darkness with red eyes. They can only attack during the night as that is the only time they will be able to manifest themselves.

Some more stuff: Basically, Sins do not disappear if you defeat them, but will keep attacking you each night. The only way to get rid of a sin is to help defeat someone else's sin, the sin that is taken away is the smallest one

1. Depending on when the sin occurs, the manifestation will appear at a different time, if they sin in the day, they will be attacked that night, if they sin that night, they will be attacked the next night

2. Basically, it's dangerous for people to hang around those that have sinned, as more manifestations would appear for them. More sins = less likely to become friends with people, but safer to hang around more people
less sins = you don't want to hang around most people as you're pretty much safer on your own

3. Initially people may fight, but they will eventually be over run as sins accumulate. Most people would carry weapons, but more weapons = more threatening and more likely for people to run away from them as crime is quite prevalent with the lack of a government

4. Sins create different things Murder could summon some sort of large monster, while more venial sins would just summon a simple wolf

5. no-one has been able to establish a government due to everyone fearing eachother and staying in large groups being incredibly dangerous

6. I'm not too sure what this rp really is, I guess It would be a kind of survival type of thing where people try to either stick together or run away from eachother, I may set like a limit on the amount of sins a single person can have..

7. Physical sins are the only sins than can cause a manifestatiin, something like saying a lie wouldn't give you a sin but severely hurting someone would

8. Human nature is what drives the rp, basically, In a world where there's no real government to keep care of anyone, people resort to doing whatever they can to survive

9. Also note that sins do not appear for children or elderly (so 0-13 or 60+)
