This section will be home to the rules of the Tavern and its areas what laws govern the little slice of dimensional space that Edan Wrenbout has created. And will also house the Staff and whatever info they decided to release about themselves. Along with basic info about the Tavern's property and andareas.

Rules
1. All RPNation rules are to be obeyed. I dunno if it's obvious or not but I'm making the point anyways XD
2. Any and all characters are allowed.Whether you bring them in new or old, beast or sentient, unmade or finished, all are welcome and no CS is required, unless you're one of the staff.
3. Fights are restricted to the Sparring Area. This rule only excludes the occasional bar-fight, but the Tavern has a sparring area outside and behind the main-building where sparring is supervised by a Staff-member and any damage done to property can be easily repaired here due to various measures both mythical and scientific. These sparring sessions will also be kept Death-Free less Staff intervene.
4. "Think of the children!" ;-; Just keep everything okay for children to read, AKA a PG-13 rating just for courtesy's sake.
5. Enjoy your time! Come and go as you please! There's no absolute commitment required for this, you can enter whenever you wish and leave by the same wish. Let's say you're overwhelmed with RPs, make a note to avoid or leave this one, and you will be welcomed back if you ever wish to return. So simply have fun with this RP.
6. Any and all inquiries about becoming staff must be brought up with me. If you have a character you'd like to have become a Staff Member, feel free to PM me and we'll talk and I'll help you get them set!

The Tavern Interior
The Shifting Salamander has appeared different to many, more fitting for their Era, their timeline, their reality... But Edan has always seen it as it is above, a lovely old-looking Tavern, nice on the eye with a slightly medieval feel to it, but that is his view. Despite the possibly changing appearance to every being who enters the layout remains the same, tables, seats, walls, stairs, counters they all remain where they are. Chairs and tables are in front of the bar on the same level, a more separated meeting area just to the right and up a few steps beside and slightly behind the bar for slightly more private talks, then an area up the stairs to the front and left of the bar that stands above the entrance and a good several feet more, supported by wooden pillars to ensure stability, that holds more seating and larger tables, along with a door that leads out to the sparring fields. And finally to the right of the bar in positioned against the wall, a slightly elevated wooden platform is, a place for those of musical arts to practice their art for those within the Tavern to listen, or for those of other art forms to show off.
With Christmas Decorations:
Decorations only put up during the month of December to give a more festive and warm look to the tavern. The stage is replaced with a roaring fire-pit encircled by stone and enchanted in such a way to ensure nothing is set fire to, though burns are still possibly to anything stupid enough to put their hand in it. A Large Fir tree decorated in lights and shiny ornaments placed in the little alcove behind and to the left of the bar. Three strands of mistletoe hung in different spots around the tavern, one by the short steps leading to the more private area behind the bar and to the right, another hung at the top of the stairs that lead to the balcony inside the tavern, and the last one hung from the balcony and thus ending up near the center of the room itself. Various Christmas-y wreaths hung about the room from the walls, along with strands of greenery (boughs?) tied with red bows hung along the banister of the upper balcony. And last but not least, floating white lights of magical origin near the cieling to take the appearance of distant stars.

The Sparring Fields
Reached via a door up on the second level, the door transports those who enter to a large plains-like area with sparse clumps of trees, slight rises and dips, the occasional rock grouping, and a boundary made up of mountains surrounding the landscape. No buildings exist here aside from a lone standing door used to reach those plane also created by the Owner of the Shifting Salamander, Edan Wrenbout. Magical wards and scientific equipment protect the plane from any serious damage, also allowing powers to be used without consequence. Sparring sessions are supervised by a single or several Sparring Supervisors who can intervene to prevent deathly wounds to anyone participating or watching, and are capable of giving medical treatment to those participating after the session.​
