Sentient Tree
What, never seen a sentient, magical tree before?
These are important cities in the Mainland.
Avius- The capital city, named after the first Emperor. Once a thriving, beautiful place, now constantly patrolled by guards and short on supplies.
Eastport- A bit south to the capital, this town was right by the ocean and was a popular place to fish. Boats and traders usually came and went. Now when most of the fish are dead, food is the biggest problem.
Mirefall- Neighbouring many swamps, the only reason people stay here are because of religious and family ties. Bandits are known to raid this place often.
Nelis- A northern city that is quite close to the Highlands, mining was and still is frequent here. However, the winters and snow here are the worst.
Redcliff- Probably one of the most miserable places out there. Redcliff is close to Nelis and is the only major settlement controlled by rebels. However, fights and riots between rebel supporters and 'loyalists' are common. Many are hurt and some are even killed. This place has some decent farms, but most food goes to the army.
