Behind that Crazy Premise
Read the following rules carefully. If you don't follow them, your CS won't be accepted.
- No characters who will never be part of the ship's crew. Maybe there will be later in the RP, but for now it's crew only.
- Every character has their own duties and privileges aboard the ship. See the Occupationstab for a list of jobs. First come, first served, no exceptions.
- Basic magic is allowed, but not too overpowered. If you want magical powers, write them down under the tab skills (see character sheet). I will PM you if they are too powerfull, then you have to delete or weaken them.
- Ships are no place for the socially awkward. Mostly silent characters or awkward characters are allowed, but not too many of them. This also goes for amnesiac characters (max 1 person), but don't expect others to help you recover your memories.
- CS is also meant to show your writingskills. There is no minimum or maximum to the amount of words, but be creative. If your writing is not sufficient I can decide to decline your CS.
- Use the charactersheet (see tab Sheet). just copy the code and fill in the required information.

Everybody is obligated to fight in battles, do chores outside their regular jobs and do be part of the night's watch every once in a while. Here's a list for other duties and privileges:
Captain: Captain Claudius "Thunderbolt" Tempest, neutral
His word is the highest. He decides where the StormChaser is headed. He is the supreme commander, but leaves most of it to the first mate. He aintains order on his ship and cares for his crew. Since he is way too important for the way the RP is headed, noone can choose him. You may use him when needed, but he is mostly absent (doing his own stuff in the captain's quarters).
First mate: Marion Tempest, @Felix
She commands the everyday business. She occaisonally steers the wheel, but mostly gives orders to others. She leads the party when going on land while the captain stays aboard the ship at all times.
Second mate: open
Main Steersman and watches the ship. Can also give orders, but only when the captain and first mate are not around.
Navigator: open
Reads the maps and stars and checks if they are still going in the right direction. Occaisonally steers.
Master gunner: open
Creates and maintains weoponry. When under attack he gives orders (though the word of the captain and first mate are still higher). When attacking he makes a strategy together with the captain, first mate and the navigator.
Chief engineer: open
Enhances the ship mechanicly, though mostly repairing and maintaining the ship.
Surgeon: open
The ships doctor. Attends the sick and injured, but also collects information about the islands. When asked to he must consult the captain by giving this information to the captain.
Chef/Steward: open
Cooks for the crew, keeps track of the provisions and gives chores for cleaning and maintaining the bunks and the Main Deck.
Watch: open
Man's the Crow's Nest.
Other: multiple openings (as many as needed)
They work the masts, swab the decks, man the cannons and carry stuff around.
