Brief description of chosen species/character 'alter': Mostly stays within his human form, though can at will, especially during a fight or moments where it is needed will turn into his "dragonoid" form (a mixture of his human and dragon form as seen above.) In this form he still experiences total awareness and control. However, he does have a full dragon form that is often triggered in moments of great distress, adrenalin, or anger where he completely loses control of his awareness and is often lost within the beast's hunger and lust for blood.

Personality: A quiet yet fun-loving individual who tends to keep to himself aside from the few coworkers and lifelong friends he has come to know from his past. Though often very calm and reasonable, conflict is often the source of his quick temper (especially if it is interrupting a good drink at the bar), causing fights in his lifetime to be common. Due to his dragon origins, tends to avoid others of his kind due to their solitary nature (aside from when he chooses to seek out a mate). History: Was born in the Bright wing clan of dragonoids, beings of fire and brimstone; known for their brutality, short temper, and strength. Balefyre was just a young dragonling when his parents went missing for reasons still unknown, the young boy left alone to fight and fend for himself among the rest of the clan, where any signs of weakness was considered a death sentence. Cast out, Balefyre took to the city in hopes of seeking a name for himself along with the promise of a steady source of food and shelter. What he found there was a game of profit, those smart, wealthy, or gifted enough given the high praise and recognition in society, while those of unlucky status forever struggled to climb to the top. A place where those of his kind were not welcome, cast out and assumed criminals for their instinctively violent and fiery nature. To survive, the young being took to the life of theft, mercenary, and occasional hired assassin for work; an occupation that forever left scars and stains of blood among his hands. Due to one fateful night of slaughter, and the rise of laws banning the work of mercenaries, Balefyre chose to abandon his once gruesome past and turn over a new leaf for a far more brighter future. A future where he could save lives instead of taking and damning them.

She’s very emotional and makes most of her decision with her heart instead of her head she tends to over react to situations only to come back later with a better understanding after she’s calmed down. Being a big fantasy fan she thinks supernatural beings are not a threat to society and would rather the world embrace and learn from them but she’s never met one.

History: Elaine grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other he always had a love for animals and fixing things and was married at 17. Her husband was emotionally and physically abusive and after she finished a vet tech program at 20 she filed for divorce. Her husband wasn’t willing to let her go and stalked and threatened her to the point of her filing a restraining order after which she applied to a veterinarian school in the city and after getting in she moved to metropolis city to pursue her new career and to escape her past. She’s been living there and going to school for two years and now works part time as a vet tech.

— H I S T O R Y

Viola never knew who her mother was. She only knew her name and the fact that she died in a car accident a year after she gave birth to her. Her father was a preacher who strongly believed in the word of Christ and the unity between humans and supernaturals. Everyone around him thought he was a good man. But behind closed doors, he was a child molester. For the first ten years of Viola’s life, she was sexually abused by the man who was supposed to protect her from the evils of the world. No one knew the truth. She was too afraid to speak and didn't think anyone would believe her if she told the truth.

A churchgoing woman who only went by the name “Daisy” one day offered Viola the power to never be harmed again. The ten-year-old girl saw honesty in the woman’s eyes and accepted the offer, even though she didn’t understand what she meant by it. A week later, Viola started changing. Her strength doubled immeasurably in her small body, she began craving raw meat, and she became entranced by the moon. On the night when she fully turned from human to beast, she killed her father in self-defense. Viola ran away with Daisy, who looked after her and taught her everything there was to know about being a werewolf.

They were never in the same town for long. They hunted, trained, laughed and cried together. She was a mentor and—in a way—the mother Viola never had. Before Daisy passed away on her deathbed, she told Viola to find a safe haven for supernaturals: a bar called Tengoku. It's been a year and a half since then, and now Viola works at Tengoku as a part-time waitress and studies for her major in journalism at the university nearby. Even though she's not truly over Daisy's death, she has a tattoo on her inner wrist commemorating her memory.

Personality: Eve is strongwilled, determined and self-reserved. Beneath a hardy and cool exterior, she is kind-hearted and empathetic, and will always strive to work and fight for the needs of others. Eve has a mistrust of the people around her, but has a more lenient approach to other supernaturals, although treating them with an air of suspicion upon first meeting as she is conditioned to. She prefers to resort to other means besides violence, and works to enforce justice and investigate more concerning the government's intentions for the supernaturals. Eve also possesses the 'maternal' instinct, which further drives her desire to protect and defend.

Weaknesses: Beneath her rough and cool nature, she is a romantic of sorts. Having been jilted years before in a past relationship, Eve is unsure what her outlook is on romance in general, but finds most comfort in what she can read in her collection of classics. She also has a weakness for children, desiring children of her own and a family. In terms of personality, Eve can be overly protective and quick to assume that everyone is against her and the supernaturals, she is not easy to trust others but once a relationship is formed, a loyal ally is gained. Small, enclosed spaces, or no hope of escape causes Eve to become anxious and breakdown to an extent.

History: Eve's early childhood was a happy one, with her parents and elder brother, living in the ever-growing town of Humar. As the years went on, her parents found it harder and harder to find work and protect their children in the face of political unrest, especially since Eve's father enrolled as part of the leadership for a resistance group of supernats. That group lost it's name when the leading members were captured by the government, arrested and later killed. In this time, their family home was ransacked and destroyed, her brother taken captive, and her mother and father died in the blast. Eve decided to let her past lead her, although she refrains from remembering such a time. Since, she was taken in by youth organisation, trained and found new family in this group. Now she is making her own way, finding accommodation in a nearby apartment and commencing studies at the University, pursuing her desired career as an architect.

Specialised Power(s): shadow manipulation: mostly making creatures out of shadows and light to tell stories while yes there are your classic production of shadow constructs like tentacles or thrown blades, he prefers to make said creatures from the stories he tells, he can only summon about 2 if they come from different stories if they don’t then he can get as many as the tale has, but he will always recount there story verbally while using them.

Brief description of chosen species/character 'alter': "The Swarm" is an amalgamation of arthropods that his mass dissipates into, where Thomas has full control of the hive mind, but not of any individual creature within the horde. The loss of 25% of the colony forces the individuals to retreat into the main human form, and damage beyond this may become afflicted onto the human form dependent on the extent of the damage. "The Insect" is a fail-safe that Thomas cannot shift into, nor control or have any recollection of what occurs in this state, as it only appears when Thomas is under extreme stress, such as in a near death state. The abilities of this are not fully understood by Thomas, however, it can be inferred it has the abilities of a scaled up insect. This form has only appeared once before.

Personality: Generally quite reserved, however does enjoy spending time with people despite not talking much when with those people. He prefers to observe rather than participate, and is content with watching others having a good time. He holds a bit of an inferiority complex due to literally being made of bugs, and the negative reputation of them, so rarely ever shifts into his other form as normal life has no real use for it.

Weaknesses: When acting as a swarm, each arthropod is vulnerable to whatever they are weak to individually, such as fire.

History: Grew up as about normal a bug boy can, hiding his abilities, other than this, he lead a pretty ordinary life, getting through school but not ever really having many close friends, although he was involved in a car crash in which he nearly lost his life at a young age, but survived due to the emergence of the Insect.
