Chan Woo

In all my one hundred and four years of sexy, unnatural life, I've never seen anyone be such an incompetent captain. Her name is Violet, and we all call her Red, though I secretly call her bizzatch. She smells like fish, probably-- I hold my breath when I'm around her.

Okay, she actually looks pretty clean, but maybe that's my point. If she did some work she'd smell like fish like a normal pirate. Though I personally smell like lavender with a hint of ocean spray, which is totally different as I'm totes just the first mate. If I were the captain then I promise I'd smell like utter sh*t. Because I'd be hard working.

I grab my long black pirate coat, the one with the perfectly fashionable cuts on the shoulders, for ruggedness, and stroll along the deck, telescope in hand. One of the human hands on deck almost splashes me with ink from an octopus he is butchering and in the blink of an eye I whip him with the black discipline rod I carry at my side, like a sword. The idiot almost ruined my white pirate trousers. He has no idea how difficult it is to find pants that are tight enough to highlight the perfect amount of bulge. You wanna give them a taste, but never show all for free. Fu**ing wine and dine me.

The human falls to the deck floor and dies, as I accidentally gave the strike too much wrist. I have the nearby deck hands toss him overboard. The truth is we are running low on humans because someone keeps beating them to death. I swear this is the first human I've brutally abused to death in at least 48 hours, so don't go pointing fingers at my beautiful face.

Violet Thaladine

In all my life, I have never seen so many dead humans. That was saying a lot for a vampire, by the way. I've killed my fair share of them in my life, but I've never watched so many get tossed over the side of a boat. I grabbed my very pirate coat (Which was only a leather coat, but whatever), and my favorite hat. You had to try and at least look the part of a captain, even if you truly didn't.

I stood by the wheel, watching the deck hands scrub the floor of the boat, well at least most of them. One was over butchering an octopus for the crew to eat later on in the day. I watched as my first mate walked by. I burst out laughing as I saw that ink almost got all over his perfectly white trousers. Which I happen to think are atrocious.

I mean, who wears white pants on a pirate ship that's out at sea all the time. Besides, it was so tacky. He might as well have signed up to be Captain Hook from Peter Pan. Chan turned towards the deck hand and basically b**ch slapped the poor fool. I laughed, well until I realized the man was dead. Then I laughed more, I'm over a hundred years old. I can laugh at the dead if I want to.

"Hey, my wonderful first mate. Do you intend on cleaning up your mess or what?" I pointed at the man who laid lifeless on the ground, an octopus across his face. I tried to hide my smile, but it didn't work out as well as I had hoped it would. I know that my first mate doesn't particularly care for me, but that just makes it all the more fun on the boat. He can't do anything about it at this point, and that just made me so much happier. I folded my arms across my chest, waiting for a response from my beloved Chan.

To Chan, the fishy devil is the only attractive ginger in the world. He hates her guts, but if he had a few too many cosmos, he'd probably do her... again. He's dead sober though, so at the moment the thought of being intimate with his captain makes him gag.

"Oh, hi Captain." Channy rests a manicured hand on his hip. "I was just disciplining one of the humans, but you know how frail they are." He applies lemonade Blistex lip chap on his already well moisturized lips. Sometimes prevention is where it's at. "One moment you're whipping them repeatedly, and the next they croak." He smiles charmingly.

The century old boy knows Red doesn't like him. It undoubtedly eats away at her that as pretty as she is... he is just a tad prettier. Chan offers her his telescope. "We'll reach The Port of Isle Verde within the hour." He lets her see the island for herself. It's going to be so good to spend a few days on dry land. "Hopefully we can enslave some more humans, and perhaps find someone that knows how to fix the hole in the north end of the hull, as those in the cargo hold keep drowning."

Chan doesn't even remember being human anymore. It feels like another life entirely. But he does remember a time when Red and him got along, and depending on how drunk Channy is, he may even say he remembers a time when he thought he felt more than just lust for his captain... a long time ago when both were but mere fledglings, serving their vampire lord. It feels like forever ago since Lord Ahmran perished, but Channy remembers. Red and him betrayed their lord for ultimate power, but things didn't work out how they had planned. Now they scour the seas in a desperate attempt to hold any leverage over anyone at all.

"Perhaps we can sire someone once we reach the isle." He says this knowing every crew member will hope he is talking about them. He has been promising the humans the dark gift for five months. But Channy knows none of them are worthy of vampirism. "Hey, remember when people used to say women on a ship are bad luck? I miss those days."

Violet watched Chan carefully. He had always been pretty smug about himself. She couldn't truly remember a time where he wasn't. Well... other than when he was drunk. Which doesn't happen as often as it used to when they'd been first turned. Being on the sea it was kind of hard to get liquor, and when they did bring some on the boat it was gone within a matter of days. The crew would always take it and drink it which would make him angry. It was a fun sight to watch him yell at the men, and try to figure out which one of them took it. They all smelled of alcohol most of the time. Red had suspected that they might have some hidden within the boat, but hadn't relayed that to Chan. It was just going to cause another fight on the ship.

She shook her head at him. "Disciplining?" She raised an eyebrow at him."That's usually why we don't whip the humans. Anyone who wanted to find us out here probably could. They would just need to look for the trail of bodies that follow our path. I mean, and I'm only suggesting this, you could try to discipline them in a bit of a gentler manner. If you already understand how frail they are." Red took the the telescope from him and looked at the island. There was a small civilization right near the shore. It also had a lot forest behind it. It looked like most people avoided the woods, and lived right up against the shore. She shrugged, humans were strange anyways, why should she waste her time questioning their decisions? "I'm glad. I can't be stuck on this ship any longer. It'll be nice just to be able to walk where ever you want without the fear of being pushed off the ship." She looked at Chan with her last statement.

"Yeah, it would probably be a good idea to bring more of them aboard. As long as, you quit killing them off. I would like to keep these humans longer than a week, if that is at all possible." Red felt bad that she was kind of tough on him most of the time, but it felt like he needed it. Like he needed someone to try and keep him in check. It wasn't always the case, but it sure seemed to be now. When they were slaves to their Vampire Lord he never was so cocky. He actually acted mildly tame, and was never so outspoken. She had enjoyed the change for a while, until he started talking. Then the change was bad, very bad.

"Well, we would have someone to fix the ship, if you hadn't killed him a few days ago. But, yes, we should get someone to fix it. I don't want to end up like all those corny movies and have a shark swimming around, and eating people." She looked at him when he talked of siring someone. He had never found anyone that he thought qualified to be a vampire. What made him think he was going to find one on this island? "Well, I guess we could look for someone to sire. Or more like, you can look for someone, since you're so picky about it." She glared at him with his next statement. "Hey, remember the time when the crew were seem and not heard, I miss that. Now, don't talk like that. You know how many feminists would eat you alive for what you just said. You better mind your tongue around the humans more than you do me."

It wasn't exactly a voice, but more like a sudden burst of knowledge: There is alcohol on the ship, and Red doesn't want him to know, yet he now does. For just the last month, Chan has been wondering if his intuitions are more on the side of mind-readings, and he's starting to think they are. He is evolving, as most vampires do at over a century. But this scares him more than anything. If he is gaining the ability to read minds, will Red gain it too, or does she already have it-- or worse, will her centennial ability be something far more powerful than mind-reading? He must be careful, even with what he thinks, until he can determine his captain's new found gift.

The truth is Channy was hoping for large angelic wings, or the ability to wield fire. Instead it seems like he will be able to read minds. Fu&*.

"You look beautiful today," Channy says, and does his best to mean it in case Red can also read minds. "Let's take a stroll down to your cabin and discuss the distribution of vampirism for those worthy crew members I have been telling you about." He places his delicate hand on her lower back and escorts her away from the nosey crew.

Red notices Chan's sudden change in behavior, but doesn't think too much of it as her first mate is normally bipolar. And though Red cannot read minds, she doesn't need that ability to know that Chan is up to something. She has known him for over eight decades, and knows that when he gets super smiley and charismatic, he is up to something. She smiles herself, curious to see where this is going. The captain happens to look up at Chan's hair and smiles even more. Chan Woo dyed his hair a deep red to be a ginger like her. It was a flattering gesture, but also very strange, and she still doesn't know the true motive behind that.

"Have you experienced any..." Chan lowers his voice to a whisper. "Menstrual cramps?" He tries to cover up the awkwardness of the question by winking and smiling some more. His Japanese eyes are truly beautiful, but he is still an idiot.

Her blue eyes go a bit wide. Once sired, a female vampire cannot reproduce anymore, but on occasion, after a century of vampirism, some women vampires experience a second puberty and can create vampire babies. Those offspring are rare, and extremely powerful. She recalls the specs of blood she saw on her panties last night and this morning. How did Chan know? She blushes at the thought of her maybe accidentally leaving her underwear in the bathroom, but she knows she didn't. She may be surrounded by men, but she is still a lady, and would never leave something like that unattended.

"I'm not menstruating," Red lies. "If you're asking about my centennial gift, it's fire." She summons up a ball of flame in her hand, twirls it, then makes it disappear. Chan Woo's right eye twitches in utter jealousy.

"I have to go," he mumbles, and runs down below deck, straight to his own private cabin.

Damn that woman straight to hell. How on Earth was she so blessed as to wield fire, and all he gets is some lame mind-reading. Not only that, but she was also lying about her newly active menstrual cycle, so she gets fire and the ability to reproduce. What madness.

Wait, maybe he can reproduce now too. He must see if he can create semen again, as once sired, that ability went away. Perhaps it has returned and he'll be able to father a super vampire lord. He tosses off his pirate coat, and throws off his white t-shirt. Across his smooth, pale chest are the words "Never Give Up" tattooed in a bluish ink. Red and him both went wild with tattoos when they first took to the seas, thinking they'd need to look the part of true pirates. His entire left arm is covered in dark, intricate designs, and they rise all the way up to his neck.

He thinks dirty thoughts about the only female on the ship, trying to get ready. After a few minutes he manages to rise at least half mast, which will have to do. He must find out if he can now create reproductive vampire goo. Chan gets onto his knees, undoes his belt, and drops his white trousers below his thighs. He gets to work, pulling foreskin back and forth.

Up on deck Red knows Chan has gone full emo over her fire wielding. She takes a deep breath. They get on one another's nerves so much, but deep down inside she still cares for him. The captain descends below deck and straight to Chan Woo's cabin.

Red headed down the stairs after her first mate. She needed to talk to him about it, and she was mildly curious of what his new found power would be. She was pretty happy with her own, but worried of what his ability would be. It must not be too exciting seeming as though he ran from her once her found out she could wield fire. Which was pretty cool, she did have to admit, but it was no reason to throw a temper tantrum.

Also, why had he become so interested in her menstrual cycle? She had felt bad for lying to him, but it didn't really seem to be his business after all. They had never talked about wanting kids, especially him. He didn't seem like the type of man who would want something like that. Maybe it was over the power she’d heard rumors that pure born vampires were always the strongest, but it was also harder to conceive one. The chances of getting pregnant for a female vampire, were a lot lower than they were for any human girl. She hadn't thought of having kids, and wasn't really upset that she had lost the ability to, but maybe it meant more to Chan than she had originally thought. She reached his door, and knocked then opened it immediately afterwards.

“Get out!!” Chan yelled to her. She slammed the door after she had seen him. She shook her head and sighed. He was trying to see if he had gained back the ability to reproduce as well. She blushed after she thought about what she had just seen. “You know, you could have just asked for help.” She laughed. Her tone was teasing towards him. She’d seen him naked before, it wasn’t the first time she'd seen him like that. She heard the crew come over and were staring at her from the top of the stairs. She laughed more that he had drawn so much more attention to himself.

“You've got a party out here waiting for the results.” She called out to the door. She tried to hold back her laughter, and actually do something. “Alright guys, shows over. Time to get out of here and back to work. We need the boat ready for when we dock on the island. We should be there any minute now.” She watched as they walked away, snickering and whispering to themselves. “You’re welcome for that, by the way. I had half a mind to open the door and let them see you in your true glory. If that’s what you want to call it.” She snickered more, and leaned up against the door. “You should really get a do not disturb sign if you’re going to this on a boat full of people. Especially if you’re going to do it right after you stormed away from me. You had to know that I would come to check on you. I am not that unpredictable.”

She smiled after thinking about the tattoo on his chest. She had remembered when he'd gotten it and the tattoo artist almost spelled the word 'give' wrong. That was a good memory for her. One that she would hold onto for a little while longer. Then let go, and never remember it again. It would become pointless, and a waste of space soon. "Well, I guess I should probably leave you to your "business" then. I'll be in my cabin when you're finished. I still need to talk to you, but I'd rather not keep shouting through this door. It hurts my throat." She walked back up the stairs and headed to her cabin. She sat down in her desk chair and spun around in it for a second. She needed to go to the bathroom and change her pad. Hopefully she would be quick enough that she could have it done before he was. It'd been a long time since she'd had her last one. It was hard to get readjusted to wearing something that they might as well call a diaper.

Chan Woo couldn't believe Red walked in on him as he was testing his reproductive organs. O.M.G. What's the point of knocking if the person is going to come in anyway? That's as crazy as jerks on the highway that light up their turn signal as they turn into the lane right in front of you. It's supposed to be a warning. You put the turn signal on, wait, then turn. In the same way, you knock, wait for a fucking response, and then open the damn door!

The first mate couldn't concentrate anymore, not enough to finish the task at hand. The whole night is ruined. But in the midst of all the chaos, it didn't escape him that Red said: You know, you could have just asked for help.

What did that even mean? The century old boy sits at his desk, hunched over in shame. But the more he thinks about what he was just caught doing, the less embarrassed he feels. He is on a ship filled with dirty, horny men that do what he just did all the time, probably four or five times a day, to the point where the entire ship is a biohazard. There's a reason why the crew jokes that the ship's floors are shined up and protected from the elements with their... human wood polish.

He'll just have to make an example out of the first person to try and make fun of him. He exits his cabin, climbs up to the main deck, and saunters toward the captain's cabin. An old crew member with a gross beard approaches him to ask about the best way to properly store octopus.

"So what do I do with the tentacle?" The crew member asks. Chan thinks the bearded man is being smart and is referring to his tentacle-- some weird masturbation joke. The first mate punches threw him, blood splattering everywhere. Example set.

Covered in blood, Channy reaches Red's door on the underside of the quarter deck. Her cabin is situated right on top of the crew's main barracks. His delicate hand makes a fist, and rises to knock, but he stops himself. He knows she is inside, and he knows she is changing her period pad. This is his opportunity to embarrass her. He quietly walks into Red's chamber and closes the door behind him. He tip toes across to the other side of the cabin to the bathroom door. If he opens it, he knows he will catch the captain red handed, changing her bloody self. Vengeance could easily be his, but it doesn't feel right. He knows she is in there in an embarrassing situation because of his ability to read minds. He is cheating...

The century old boy takes a step toward manhood and opts to sit down at the woman's center table instead. "I'm in here, Red."

Chan hears the ruffling of paper. "Just a second," she calls out. Water runs as she washes her hands, then she emerges from the bathroom.

"So what's the agenda for the isle?" Red says, purposely not talking about walking in on Channy as he was jerking off. The truth is she understands the loneliness of the ship. She knows from first hand experience that helping oneself out helps to boost morale. Chan would have never thought Red did that kind of thing. Because of his new ability, he must brace himself for a lot of surprising revelations.

She wants to avoid the subject for his own sake, but he'll bring it up so he can find out what she meant by her comment: You should have just asked for help.

"I wanted to see if I had the ability to reproduce." He pours her a goblet full of merlot. " And you are the only woman on the ship, and it's not like I could just ask you to help me with that."

You're often times an asshole, but a gorgeous asshole, so I would have helped. And there is the truth. It turns out Chan's centennial ability isn't as lame as he had originally thought. And it turns out the loneliness of sea life doesn't just affect sad, hairy crew men, but beautiful captains as well.

"Why couldn't you ask me? It's been a while, but it's nothing we haven't done before."

"That's true. "He extends his arm and hands her the goblet of wine. She takes it and sits at the table, across from him.

"So what's the verdict?" She takes a deep gulp. "Can you reproduce?"

"As I was interrupted, I didn't get a chance to find out."

Red rubs her finger along the top of the goblet. "I'm actually really curious to know."

Even at a century of age, Chan still blushes at them talking about his semen. "Why does it matter?"

"Because I lied. I am on my period." She immediately regrets saying that, but it's too late. "Sorry, I should have told you the truth."

"It's okay. I knew you were lying."

"I guess we know each other too well to lie," she says.

"Eight decades with someone will do that."

A silence falls between them. Chan Woo drops his goblet and tosses the table aside. The first mate leans in and kisses his captain. Red doesn't resist the gesture, so Chan places his hand behind her neck and kisses her even deeper. Their embrace quickly loses momentum and he turns his back to her, smirking.

"We'll have to make finding out if you can cum a main objective for the isle."

"I'll get the men ready for the invasion, captain." Chan steps onto the main deck. "C'mon maggots, it's time to set some houses on fire." He shoots his musket off into nowhere. "It's time for you to rape and pillage like you've never raped and pillaged before."

Red still sat on her desk, she leaned herself back up against the wall. She closed her eyes trying to process what had happened. She was completely shocked that he didn't seem more upset about her walking in on him. She knew that she'd have probably lost her mind had he walked in on her pleasing herself. She would hate him for a while, but things would go back to normal. It was how they usually ended up after a bad fight or something like that. She shook her thoughts away, and stood up from her desk. She went out onto the main floor after Chan. "Well, don't kill everyone. We need some of them to replace the crew that have mysteriously died over the past weeks." She looked over at Chan, and pretended to cough. Then looked away from him quickly.

She walked to the front of the ship. The island was close, she needed to get to the wheel, and try and dock the ship as close to land as she could get it. They would probably have to take the smaller boats that hung from either side, unless they wanted the ship to get stuck on shallow land. She steered the boat slowly closer towards the isle. She was never good at docking, and it could always get a little rough, but the crew certainly knew that by now. Land was drawing near very fast it felt like, but Red always got herself worked up over it. The bottom of the boat started to hit the bottom, and made a horrible screeching sound. She stopped the ship.

"Well, are you waiting for a barnacle to grow on your asses! Throw the anchors out. Also, get the boats down, and into the water. We're going ot have to use those to get to and from the ship." The crew walked away to do as they were told snickering and whispering. She just her head at them, then headed back to her cabin. She grabbed her leather bag and threw some of her feminine things into it. She wasn't sure how long they were intending to stay here. It was different each time they got onto land, and what it offered. One place they had went had about six different taverns in it , and they couldn't leave because no one could get Chan to leave the liquor there. They had eventually compromised on bringing some on board, but that was gone within days of him having it. She went over to the side of the ship.

She looked back at Chan and shouted. "You better hurry up slow poke. Their going to get all the alcohol before you can count to three." She grabbed one of the ropes that was used to lower the boat into the water, and jumped off the side of the boat. Her hands always got rope burn when she did it that way, but it was the most fun. It also looked really cool, or at least in her head it did.

Most of the crew were already on the smaller boats headed towards the land to do the same things that they did every time they reached land. Red wasn't super interested in it most of the time. She did like to light the occasional house on fire, but that was about it for her. She was more or less interested in trying to find new crew mates that would do well on the ship. The last time that they had picked up new crew members they had ended up with quite a few sissies. Some had even jumped over the side of the boat because they thought it was so horrible. Red didn't care all that much. If they wanted to drown themselves, then let them. She would not jump over the ship to save one of them, not in a million years. Well, that's not true. If they had a million dollars on them then she would. She'd most likely just take the money and go back to the ship.

Humans were trivial in her eyes. They were a source of food and nothing more in the scheme of things. She had always thought it would be better to have an entire crew of vampires, but she knew that that would be a bad idea just as much as humans. At least with humans, if they don't listen you can punish them. A vampire heals too quickly for a punishment to mean anything. Besides, if they started to get on her nerves it would take a lot more effort to kill them off than it would for a mere human. If her and Chan changed them all then that would be horrible as well. Trying to teach a handful of new vampires how to be vampires did not sound like how she wanted to spend her days. It was like having a puppy, except for the fact that the puppies would eat people, then they were practically the same thing.
