Kagune or Quinque: Quinque in the form of multiple flying circles the size of a frisbee that either hover around the user or, as Kypher prefers, travel up very high to achieve a better firing position. The circles can rapidly fire long Roukaku spikes about 3 foot long and 10cm in diameter designed to pierce steel and armour. Kypher can pick up these spikes to use as a spear or sword. The quinque can be used as a short range machine gun or a long range sniper given that it has high power and high speed in both firerate, projectile speed and the circles' actual movement speed. It requires no reload. The circle can be fairly easily destroyed however and even simply shooting them down with a normal gun will suffice. More can be made however and only destroying the actual part of the quinque that creates these circles can you then disarm Kypher.

RC Type: Roukaku

Speed: 5

Size: 1

Durability: 1

Personality: Calm, cunning and ruthless, Kypher is true to the nature of his organisation in that he will do whatever it takes to achieve his goals and pays no heed to the immediate consequences. He does however have the forethought and intelligence necessary for him to plan ahead, something that quickly lead to his rise as the leader of The Storm. Charming, witty and confident in his own abilities, Kypher is also blessed with the balance of not being blinded with arrogance, meaning he often does not underestimate his enemies and can make accurate observations of a situation or person to aid his strategical planning.

Biography: Born to a human family in District 11, Kypher lived a relatively sheltered life with his rich parents. They both had a very well-paying occupation as quinque developers, helping to create some of the world's greatest and most powerful quinques ever. However, Kypher was hidden away from all this as it harboured a terrible secret. Attending a normal private school, he achieved in all his subjects and was considered District 11's brightest. Later on, Kypher followed his parents to their work one day with a  couple of friends of his. Entering the facility, they discovered just how husband parents made the widely reknown quinques that heroes of humanity would use. They bred ghouls for specific types of kagunes, to which they would then rip the predatory organ from the being, ensuring its death, and applying it to a holster or handle of some kind to form the powerful weapons. Appalled and shocked by the treatment of the ghouls, Kypher sought to free the remaining specimens from their prison. His logic was although they were a human-eating scourge, they were still conscious beings, and thus would likely feel grateful to Kypher and his friends for freedom. This was not the case.

The ghouls, having been trapped in poor conditions from birth, were mindless and feral after years of abuse. They attacked the trio, killing Kypher's friends and ravenously tearing them apart. All but Kypher, who escaped into what looked like a vault. Upon being faced with a code, Kypher reasoned that his parents would be traditionalists, and thus input his birthday. The large round steel wall opened and inside was his parents pride and joy, aside from himself of course. It was the quinque named "The Pinnacle of Thunder", an extremely dangerous and powerful weapon to be used by first class members of the CCG. Motivated by thoughts of revenge for his family, Kypher picked it up and armed himself, heading back to his now dead friends.

Arriving back at the ghoul pens, Kypher found that the escapees and done as they should: they escaped, and deeper into the facility nonetheless. Following the trail of half-eaten corpses and blood, Kypher found his mother and father backed into a corner and faced with multiple feral ghouls. What happened next was a blur as spike after spike was shot at the ghouls as Kypher screaming in pure rage until there were no ghouls left alive, even despite their impressive regenerative abilities. But he had made a mistake. He had injured his father in the side. In shock, Kypher already knew he would regret this error for the rest of his life but his parents gave him no time to think.

Soon he would find himself running in a daze with his mother and father as they scrambled to reach the exit, constantly chased by more murderous ghouls. Eventually, his father knew he couldn't go on. Knowing he had lost too much blood from earlier, he pushed the two away, he made his final stand and drew a sword and shield quinque to fend off the ghouls whilst his family escaped. Distraught and in disarray, Kypher and his mother fled to the exit, bursting outside to the open air of the city. Lockdown had already been initiated from the inside and in their hearts the two both knew that Kypher's father must have input the code on his master controller because he wouldn't be returning. A final act of sacrifice.

Both Kypher and his mother were crushed, but the tragedy hadn't only begun. They turned upon hearing the sounds of footfalls crunching through the gravel up to the entrance of the facility where the two were. A man in a plain white suit with a plain white mask, two eye sockets and nothing else. The man was followed by an entourage of 6 armed and armoured men with more militaristic gas masks. The man in white seemed to be listening to an earpiece for a moment as he stopped short of the two remaining Hawthornes before nodding in acknowledgement, "Confirmed. There were no staff survivors. Copy." And with that one of the soldiers raised their rifle and shot Kypher's mother in the head. She fell, her lifeless body hitting the cold gravel. The man in white nodded once more and lowered his hand, "Commence phase two of the backup plan. Destroy all evidence as per governmental orders." Explosions occurred within the building, crashes and booms echoing throughout the facility, destroying all data, ghouls and researches alike: including Kypher's father if he was still alive.

And it began to rain.

Finally spurred by the death of  his mother, Kypher wiped the tears from his eyes and aimed his weapon at the men, the few circles firing blindly. Two of the eight soldiers went down with another wounded and then a final spike hit the man in white, the cause of all this death. But his hand had moved inhumanely to catch the spike before it fully penetrated the eye socket of his mask and head. With a growl, the man pulled the spike free from his face, taking the red irised eye out with it. Blood splattered from the socket as the man revealed his gauntlet quinque, landing a blow directly in Kypher's face, knocking him unconscious, "Tsk... He has some fire in him. Take him back to the testing labs, we'll make a man of him yet. Or maybe even a ghoul of him..." And with that thegroup left the burning building to its untimely death and so did Kypher's normal childhood life end.

But his life continued on as a labrat in District 2. Used by the government to test the effectiveness of quinques, Kypher spent his life killing ghouls in a controlled environment with various different weapons. Although it helped acrue him a range of skills with different arms, Kypher wanted out. He hated ghouls, but he hated the government more. After a failed surgery to try and turn him into a half ghoul, he fought his way out, killing many as he made his exit, reclaiming his parents' quinque and killing the man in white, thusly stealing the mask as testament of his victory. And so he took to the streets, eventually rallying other likeminded individuals to join his cause a create one of the secretive and powerful terrorist groups of the city. Based in one of the gangs/off limits Districts, they would be unknown for no longer, soon their infamy and the fear for them would grow. Kypher had planning a long time for his revenge on those that did him wrong; the vermin ghouls that he had tried to help that killed his father and the government, who had killed his mother and tortured and forced him to fight more ghouls for their twisted research. Well now would be the day of reckoning, the final judgement. There was a peace and serenity in the people right now. But a new terror was coming to the city. A Storm was coming. And this was just the calm before it...
