Some demons like the guardians are born on earth and raised there, they would think they are good until shown the error of there ignorance.Proxy said:

The demons that are born on earth are even playing field, they can be good or evil, the ones in the shadow realm are evil. The shadow relm ones are plotting to kill and acquire all the human gifts so the elements can not beat them.
