It's  the afternoon the auroras that hang in the sky have not left since the phenomenon began. People have gotten used to life in this new world enough to survive but are will adjusting to it. Settlements have been made, independent groups and survivors endlessly travel the land from place to place to keep themselves alive in safe while certain factions work to change the world or help each other survive.  There have been reports that a Dragon may possibly be in the Pine Creek Gorge area, as these creatures seem to be the most intelligent and the overall alphas of all the creatures that have entered the world some believe that by studying these creatures they could learn more about the phenomenon itself. Others may simply want to steer clear of it, assuming that the reports are true and it is a dragon and not a Wyvern. These also could be rumors spread by The Order to scare away the U.N. or Scavangers.

The city is quiet, undead walk midlessly through the streets while Harpies have perched atop buildings hidden and waiting to ambush prey, but these are the obvious threats.

(This is our starting point I thought about just saying Pennsylvania but doing that usually leads to people not interacting, you can branch off from here but we all start here with at least one character)

Location: Pennsylvania: Lock Haven.

Michael Cross, Freelancer or as people who have worked with him have come to call him 'Coerl Tamer' parked his heavily modified RV on the outskirts of Lock Haven at a small motel, checked over his equipment mainly his weapons, ammo and supplies for himself and his pet Coerls, Alii and Uhane, smiling as they nuzzled their heads against his hips as they were close to being fully grown then he walked out of the RV with Alii and Uhane behind him, locking up the RV encase people tried to steal it and activating the traps as he walked into Lock Haven looking toward his Coerl he grins "Let's bag us a dragon you two!" He said happily the two Coerl meowed happily in response.

Meanwhile, at Angel City: Los Angeles, California.

Alex sat ready in the armored transport within the convoy heading to Stark City in Roswell thinking back on the rumors of a dragon in Lock Haven so he sent the famed Coerl Tamer to investigate and gather more information, "Let's hope he finds something" He mumbled checking over documents from Stark City on some developments.

Trige Ward

The book he was reading was quite interesting. It was quite hard to find a copy of old book after Phenomenon, yet here he is, reading a compilation of Shakespeare's drama scripts. However, the yapping of coerls signed the end of his free time. Trige put the book back on the motel receptionist desk and walked outside.

A huge RV was parked directly in front of the motel. It towered over him, hiding the sun behind its.... skeleton? He was never interested in car anyway. The coerl tamer had been walking toward Lock Haven when Trige gained the attention of the coerls. They growled at him and forced him to a stop. When the man turned and face him, Trige folded his hand and addressed the man calmly. " Trige Ward, surgeon general of United Narion. I'm suppposed to be accompanying you, Michael Cross, more widely known as Coerl Tamer, to check upon the rumour of a roaming dragon. "

Tabius Reed

In the same Motel, Tabius had made himself at home. He sat in a dark room, his Coerl Douglas, and his harpy Companion Elizabeth at his side. The room was almost pitch black, only a small sliver of light made its way into the room. It shined in through a gap in the rooms curtains, and onto Tabius. The room wasn't his first choice of a place to stay, but it would do. After all, according to his information this was where the one known as the Coerl tamer was supposed to be.

Douglas was sleeping contently, his head resting on Tabius'es lap. Elizabeth was leaning against his left arm, simply staring off into space."It seems he's arrived, we should go say hello. After all, as the light has decreed, it is fate."  Tabius stood up causing both Douglas, and Elizabeth to fall. Then Douglas tumbled to the floor, and quickly stood up looking around as if for some unknown foe. Elizabeth simply looked up, and hissed at Tabius annoyed. Tabius simply ignored this, and moved to open the curtains, allowing the light to shine into the room, blinding  him momentarily. But he didn't shield his eye, only embraced the light with a smile.

Afterwords he went, got his duffel bag, and other items."Come along you two let's go introduce ourselves to our new companions." He ordered opening the door and exiting the room, Elizabeth, and Douglas close behind. He then approached the massive RV, a friendly smile on his face."Oh, this is very impressive. We could use one of these, don't you think?" He asked his companions, who simply made distasteful noises in response.

Tabius sighed, and turned towards the owner of the RV. Who seemed to be having a conversation with another man. Tabius slowly approached them, holding his hand back, signaling for the others to stay behind him."Oh, are you searching for a roaming dragon as well?" He said putting on a very convincing performance, as the clueless stranger who just so happened to be around. He was kind, friendly, and very charming now. Clearly different from how he normally acted."I'm actually curious about the creature as well. You see I'm the leader of a new world religion, and I've reason to believe that finding, and studying some of these stronger creatures will answer many unanswered questions about this new world of ours. May I come along with you?" Tabius asked a hopeful smile on his face.

Michael lets out a small whistle as Alii and Uhane stop hissing at the man but continue to stand ready to attack as well as protect Michael in a sort of defensive formation, Michael looks Triage over casually then sighs "I was never told I would have someone accompany me, so let your boss know pay will be doubled as hazard pay, tripled if one of my Coerls get hurt protecting you, got it?" He frowned as he asked the question then noticed someone else approach as Alii and Uhane begin glaring at this newcomer but not hissing as per Michael's whistle order, he sighs when he hears the man wants to join "More the merrier I guess" He said sarcastically then eyed the newcomer casually "You were waiting for someone probably me, why is that?" He said the religious zealot looking around for anyone else a Alii watched Triage and Uhane watched the zealot.

Trige Ward

To the new arrival, Trige only gave him a withering look. A lot of new religions had popped up since Phenomenon occured. Most of them are harmless, but some cults are known to be brutal in their practise. By stating his intention to look for dragon, he has just established his position as a threat to UN. " I will prefer if you don't tell anyone about my presence here. For all Commander Alex know, I'm at Cleveland, gathering fire crystalline after a huge fire burned quite a number of building. As for your payment... "

Trige stared directly to Michael's eyes. " I will personally pay you for escorting me. "

Tabius Reed

Tabius  smiled glad that the man had allowed him to come along. Even though he was clearly not a very trusting person. He seemed to not want to end up babysitting a bunch of fools. But Tabius could hold his own, as long as he got what he needed he was happy. This man was paranoid, but he was right to be. It was just a good thing Tabius was so good at coming up with stuff on the spot, otherwise he would have stood there blubbering like a fool.

"Well...You see it's kind of embarassing, but I was waiting for anyone to come really. See I travel alone, accept for my two companions." As Tabius said this he whistled, and both Douglas, and Elizabeth came to him. Elizabeth perched near the RV, and Douglas growling lowly next to him."Now calm down Douglas, they're friendly." Douglas looked towards Tabius, and immediately stopped growling. Although he still didn't look happy about the arrangement."But as you know it's dangerous out here, and I knew that someone would be coming through here. To check out the rumors you know?" Tabius asked with a slightly embassed smile, akwardly rubbing the back of his head."So I decided I'd wait for someone to come, and then ask to join them."

Collin gazed silently as his hawk as he watched it fly about to survey the rest of the city, deftly out-manuevering the handful of Harpies that stirred.  Most didn't bother, though; they were to busy waiting for an opportunity to take down Collin and his four companions.  They wouldn't get to, though.  By himself Collin could at least have fun wrangling a few of them, and he currently led the second best squad of troops in the Order through this small pitstop of a town.  He'd meet up with Emily, Charles, and David here in roughly an hour before they'd continue their journey back to Indianapolis and then Chicago.  In the mean time, though, he was going to take his men down to investigate this rumored "dragon".  If it was legit, they'd probably be forced to leave it alone, but if it turned out to be a hunting party from the Order hunters of Phillidelphia, he'd want to check in on the settlement while he had the chance; they hadn't been able to stop by earlier thanks to an angry hydra that had tracked our team for nearly three days.

 It had taken them by surprise, and they had lost one of Emily's men before finally getting away.   The damned thing had at least a dozen heads from inexperienced idiots trying to waste previous running time trying to kill the thing.   Worst of all, his team hadn't killed the thing, so it was probably still out there, somewhere.

Finally, though, Collin's hawk set off in a direction after several slow circles and his team set off down below through the path the bird had set.  Time to investigate.

Emily stood silently looking over the forest from the tall tree she had climbed moments before.   The creature had carved an obvious enough path, with fallen trees pointing towards one clear direction.  With impossible grace, she leaped back to the ground and faced her team with her usual, solemn look.  "Time to hunt a hydra."  Then they were off, her boys letting out their loud cries for vengeance.

Michael Cross:

Mike looked back toward Triage with a raised eyebrow then shrugs and nods "half now, half later and you got a deal, doc" He said then proceeded to look at Tabius with a slightly surprised look when he saw the harpy and Coerl under his control while Alii and Uhane tilted their heads questioning at the Coerl before them trying to communicate with it with the occasional meows and hisses as if saying "How long have you been traveling with this man?" as Mike sighed "Fine but just watch for the dragon since you'll be taking point with your fiends" He tells Tabius with a shrug "Harpies are good trackers so she will help"

Felix would be standing in the street alone. Well besides a harpy that was following him. It seemed to not be attacking him or anyone. Except for people who tried to shoot at it, who he would then point his gun at. He didn't care who he shot, he just shot anyone who was in his way/ harmed him. The harpy would know what to do whenever he pointed his gun, stay out of his way. He scanned the area, looking around. Nothing really dangerous was around here.

@Shirochankun

^ here, intro post for me. and base for what harpy knows )

Trige Ward

" As you can see, I bring nothing of value at the moment. " He pointed at his side bag, which is filled with standard medical equipment along with a seemingly folded syringe.  " Will a body enhancement do? I have nothing of value except that for now. " Trige bended down and jump upward. He leaped over Michael's head and land behind him. "If this is not enough, I will take my leave. "

Due to the noise that was made by the RV as it pulled in a group of unread are being attracted to their area, slowly stumbling their way down the street, snarling with a taste for human living flesh there are a least ten of them coming. @Damafaud @ShadyBlaze @Solemn Jester

As @Shirochankun and @lostsoul enter the city the only threats present are the wandering undead whom have not noticed them yet, wandering aimlessly through the streets. Harpies remain hidden atop the buildings, waiting for unsuspecting prey to arrive.

@Collinbu98 As Emily and her troupe prepare to hunt the Hydra they hear the not so far off sound of ahob gobiln's horn, meaning that a horse of goblins even likely a Goblin camp is somewhere nearby they must. It is unclear rather they are aware of their presence or reacting to the Hydra in their area.

Fira glided overhead of her master, Felix.  She kept an altitude and distance that was safely out of her master's way.  She recounted the time of their meeting time and time again.  Her fear of death at that time and the instinctual need to survive lead her to submitting herself to serve and help Felix.  The moment they'd entered the city, undead wanderer aimlessly and she cause glimpses of her own kind up on the tops of the buildings.  Fira avoided meeting any of their gazes as she knew far to well how they would treat her for serving a human.  "Felix...."  she attempted to warn, having dropped her altitude slightly.

Sanctum Capital; Formerly known as Junction city, Kansas;

Leanna had once again made rounds to the various settlements throughout the former state of Kansas.  The journey always lasting weeks and months.  Currently, she was walking the once busy highway that would lead her back to the Sanctum's capital and with her were a total of four others.  Leanna may be may be Sanctum's leader, but she never forces anyone belonging or joining sanctum to do something they don't want.  And she even shoos away those that want to assign themselves as her personal guards.  However, the four with her now were just as stubborn as herself so they followed her even if she made various attempts to ditch them at one of the settlements.

Hearing Fira call his name, Felix notices the bodies moving up ahead. too many to be human. They were also moving slower then usual. That was a telltale. He slowly got out his sniper, and aimed down the sights. He was prepared to snipe them silently and quickly. That was his job. Kill those who aren't meant to be here. Well, at least , those who aren't willing to compromise. He motioned for Fira to fly around, and locate any potential threats, that could attack him while he reloads the sniper. Then shoots the first of the undead. No sound escaping the sniper. He himself, the silencer. His magic preventing it from being too loud. @Coco Adel @Shirochankun

Having nodded her head once to show she understood, Fira raised higher into the air again.  She flew ahead a good distance while watching the ground and circling in a semi-wide radius around Felix.  She focused obediently on looking for anything that may pose a threat to her master.  The loud gunshots ringing out from Felix's rifle cause other harpies on the rooftops to focus their gazes at her master.  Fira ignored them though since they likely wouldn't make a move unless herself or Felix were injured and weakened.  The gunshots had also caught the notice of more zombies.  But otherwise, nothing at the moment that was seen by her wasn't something herself or Felix couldn't handle.  Although, just to be safe, Fira dived at and would throw the undead that looked to be walking towards her master.

@lostsoul

Felix would make a sound of disappointment. It wasn't the first time he didn't act quick enough to nullify the sound of his rifle. Luckily only a few notice it. He could easily kill those. He nodded to Fira, thanking her for taking care of one of the undead. Before he shoots some of the others, heading toward him. It seemed that this was a nomad group. The kind that roam and gather. Till they find a home they like. Felix after shooting one of the undead, waited for Fira to retreat. So he could paralyze the undead. He magic was barely strong enough to do that. It only worked on undead, due to their bodies being weaker. But other wise it only made it harder to fly, and jump.

 @Shirochankun

The shots fired hit their mark however as First threw the undead all it served to do was delay them as unless their brains were destroyed the unreadable would not truly die. At the nearby buildings there are at least five harpies out in the open, atop buildings but there are likely others hidden as they are known for ambush. Three sit together,  watching two others sit together not too far off but on their own, hissing, digusted with Fira for siding with a human over her own kind, showingshe was clearly no welcome at least not among thus group of harpies. @lostsoul @Shirochankun

Trige noticed the shuffling undead, and sighed. "Well, it seems we have company. " He counted ten of them. Alone, they could be harmless. But when they are in groups...

Trige strengthen his knuckle bones and legs muscles. He strapped his bag tighter and jumped into the air. Using the momentum of his fall, he leaned forward and punch an undead straight on its face.

@Coco Adel Felix attracts harpies. I am telling you. It is a curse x3. Harpies love him... or hate him. he can't tell. Neither can I. They just always are watching him x3 )

Trige's punch crushes the udead's fragile skull turning it to mush however; the other zombies quickly attempt to swarm him, being the closest, they planned to eat him first,  but that they could really plan it was more of an instinct @Damafaud

Mike looked over at the incoming zombies then snapped his fingers gesturing to the zombies as Alii and Uhane dashed forth to attack knowing that Zombies are only attracted to human flesh, his corels could easily tear them apart deciding to gather up some magic into his hands, he threw two lightning bolts one from each hand at one zombie a piece hoping the attack pierces through its head and hits another zombie and so on and so forth.

(inb4 i turn Fira into a jealous tsundere.,,  because why not. xD jk)

Fira dived at an undead again. But this time she took it by the head in her talons and crushed the zombie's skull, keeping the now headless body as a blunt weapon.  Granted, it wasn't very good weapon-wise, but that was easily solved by never using the same corpse twice to hit things with.  Occasionally, Fira screeched at the other harpies that were watching for any openings.  The threat was weak since they could just group up on her.  One  of her kind took a readying stance as if to take to the air.  But That harpy was met with an unharmed undead thrown by Fira.

@Coco Adel

No, it would be a yandere. Only one harpy per felix. x3. )

Felix would shoot at the remaining undead, blowing off their heads, if he was good at one thing... It was hitting things. ( Accuracy ) He blew atleast one of the undeads head off. Moving on to one after the next.  Too bad after killing his sixth undead, he ran out of ammo in the clip. So he quickly reloaded. This taking a few moments in which he was wide open.

Once the udead had been thrown all bets were off the group of harpies would not suffer this threat, especially not from their own kind. As the Harpy that prepared to take flight sees the unharmed undead flung at her she grabs it by the neck falling on her back from the momentum but with little effort begins to tear the unreadable apart. Meanwhile the other four harpies take to the sky, two go straight for Fira while the other two swoop down upon Felix preparing to snatch him off into the air @lostsoul @Shirochankun

One Lightning bolt hits it's mark but the other merely tears off the arm of another unreadable, crashing into the ground once it was done. Two unread are taken down by the Corels but are not dead as their brains have not be destroyed yet. However; they are on the ground and unable to attack in their state currently.    @ShadyBlaze
