Power Replication: Atticus can replicate any power out there and use it as if it was the power he got from the stars initially. His power, however, does not take into account the amount of star energy a person has, just their power. As well as that, he can only replicate a power so long as there is physical contact.

Atticusβs hair is all sorts of weird and too much. He has a lot of it and usually lets it just chill on his head like a bird nest, sometimes maybe covering it with a cap when he doesnβt feel like battling with his bangs the entire day. His hair is an okay length only when his mom eventually puts her foot down and forces him to go get a haircut, but itβs only a matter of time until it becomes that bird nest once again and the cycle repeats.

Unlike his dad, Atticus is not very bulky in build, but actually lankier, if anything (which is oddly similar to that one mailman, but letβs not start that discussion). Itβs not really that his body lacks muscle, but more that his usual stature and way of dressing make him appear slimmer than the boy actually isβthough Atticus was never really the one to care about his build or appearance in the first place.

The most known distinguishable feature Atticus has would be the gap in between his two front teeth, which does kind of make him look like the oddball of the family as everybody else has pretty normal teeth. He also has some scars from countless fights with his sisters, but thatβs all in the past now (unless Aurelia pushes his buttons again and then he will body slam her).

Atticus doesnβt really have style, but if he feels something fits on him, he will wear it without much thought put into color or if the outfit, as a whole, matches. There are the rare days when he actually does put thought into his attire, but those are days of weddings and funerals (occasionally a party if he decides to go).

here comes the oddball!
Born on 5th of February, 2003, a young blue-eyed boy with some soft blonde hair on his head, that beautiful smell of young, and a particularly infectious laugh was the 6th and final member of the Bailey family.
Out of the four kids his parents had, Atticus was most certainly the wildcard of the bunchβdoing things his parents never thought they would have to deal with, but at the same time never being ill-natured or rude to anybody.
For example, where his sisters played with barbie dolls and the boys at the park played with cars, Atticus liked to eat sand. And I mean he really really liked to eat sand. There was no particular reason he did it, nor did he make a big deal about doing it, but after more than one trip to the emergency room and giving his parents the fright of their lives multiple times in a row, he eventually stoppedβwith the story of βlittle Attiβ eating sand still being one frequently mentioned at family dinners or holiday gatherings.
Learning the word βfuckβ and deciding to say it excessively for 3 months any time something inconvenienced him in the slightest at the age of 3 was another one of the moments showcasing just how eccentric of a child Atticus was. Truth be told, the boy probably did require a little bit more attention from his parents than his sisters initially did, but which youngest child doesnβt?
It was also in his early childhood that the boy developed a sort of pull towards his oldest sister, Eliza, whom he decided to copy frequently, no matter how much it annoyed her or not.
2011

You know, compared to other boys going through puberty, Atticus was actually well behaved to a certain point, ignoring the endless amount of fights he had with his sisters about who knows what. But then again, that was exactly what having multiple teenagers in the same household amounted to.
This period of his life was when he really started to get his own outlook of the world, and things in his family were soon starting to fall apart.
First it was the divorce of his parents, which he didnβt completely understand. Why couldnβt have his parents stayed together and all of them wouldβve been a happy family like they were until now? He didnβt see anything wrong with what his dad did or why mom was throwing him out of the house, but at least Atticus and his sisters got to see both of their parents equally, so it wasnβt exactly the worst situation in the world. It was this that made Atticus start to appreciate the irony in life and the sweet boy started his morph into what he was todayβa sarcastic little shit.
Atticusβs bond with his older sister grew and it was almost as if they became a sort of support system for one another, sharing a sense of humor and being able to just be silly together with no consequences. But the universe works in mysterious ways, and this was around the time Atticus became sort of alienated from the family. As tensions between everybody cultivated, Atticus simply didnβt understand what was happening because nobody was explaining anything to him. When he found out his sister was being basically shipped off to military school, he was furious, and for the first time in his life genuinely yelled at his father for insisting on it. His yelling did nothing, and Eliza was off to military school leaving Atticus to resent his father for taking away his sister.

Well, things were now certainly better than they used to be, but not exactly perfect. Atticus basically had no social life whatsoever, his only friend being the schoolβs water fountain, but at least Eliza was back home which meant Atticus and his oldest sister could once again chill on the roof with whatever addictive substance they could find, talking about whatever topic came to mind. His relationship with his mother flourished a lot, almost to the point where he was mommyβs little boy, all the while his relationship with his father pretty much plummeted into the ground. Oh, and there were these βstarsβ that fell down from the sky, which was like really weird to see.

Sam Maeger is a total social outcastβ arguably for a good reason. Absolutely abysmal at conversation, forming relationships, and just physically existing, Sam is an absolutely miserable person to be around. Though book smart, heβs a danger to himself and others. He does his best to seem charming and friendly, but he fails utterly. He is uncool, awkward, and clumsy. Not only that, but heβs a total incel and blames all of his social struggles on those around him thanks to his undercover egoism.

Think βbig magnetβ. Sam attracts bits of metal smaller than 4-in wide and 5-in long within 10 feet around himself (when at max pull). (Anything larger than this, he himself begins to get attracted to.) When he is still, his magnetic pull becomes stronger and stronger, which means that the longer he sits still in a spot, the more he will attract. His magnetism is relatively weak at first, only spanning a couple of centimeters all around himself, but, depending on how long he stands, his range can grow to 10 feet. (When he improves his skills, he may be able to will the range and strength of his magnetism to change). He is able to manipulate these small pieces of metal, including bending, twisting, and breaking it into smaller pieces, though these things take a lot of effort to do. He is able to control the position of these pieces in the air around him (make them levitate, move them about) within two feet of himself. Objects under his control can still be touched, moved, and stopped. They donβt cease to be objects just because he can control them, and they donβt have any particular force that makes them difficult to pick off beyond what normal laws of gravity and speed allow, though the pieces directly stuck to him are often too difficult for others to physically pull from his bodyβ and too difficult for him to physically pull from his body. When things leave the two-foot span of his direct control, they are prone to becoming attracted to him again, but he cannot control them until they re-enter the span.
It takes immense focus and concentration for him to be able to get objects off of himself and keep them away from him. This fact alone makes it difficult for him to do too much with his powers, as those also take a lot of effort. Surely, as he practices, it will get easier, but it still requires a lot of energy and constant attention regardless. Because of this, his power is mostly a nuisance.

Spiritual premonition. Leea has the ability to travel into the future in spiritual form, but she cannot interact with the world around her or directly affect the future when in the vision. The vision only last ten seconds, though they can also be shorterβ or they could simply be flashes of something happening. She cannot control when her visions occur. She just knows that they occur when something bad is going to happen soon to herself or someone important to her. If she has a vision in enough time, it is possible that she could alter the future via her actions. However, sometimes her alterations may cause changes to the future that make it worse than it was previously.
While she is having a premonition, her body freezes with her eyes open wide. This leaves her body vulnerable. She also does not have any context to many of the visionsβ she doesnβt know how far away that they will happen, and she does not know what conditions might change the future/what conditions that future happens under, only that that future that she sees is the most likely one and is what will happen if she doesnβt change what she would normally do/if the ones in her vision donβt change what they would normally do. However, no visions can happen more than twelve hours out or as close as fifteen seconds.

Brahm has about him a general, comforting aura. He's the Dad Friendβ’, complete with horrendous fashion sense, bad jokes, and a surplus of highly exaggerated stories about the one that got away-- no, not the girls that got away; he means the fish. The voice of reason and responsibility, Brahm is often the most mature of a group and finds himself keeping the others in check. He's often rather quiet, but he's pretty cheerful, personable, and optimistic. He always voices his opinion, but he tries his best to avoid arguments. If someone tries to fight him, he will often try to diffuse the situation, even if that means lying.
He finds himself lying more often than not.
He goes with the flow often, but he has his own morals and thoroughly thinks through his actions. Though often underestimated because of his chill attitude, goofiness, and accent, Brahm is a smart dude, really. Well, smarter than he's given credit for.

Brahm struggles with attachment. He often latches onto those who say that they care for him and refuses to let go.
He's often the first to apologize after a matter happens and say that it's not them, it's him-- even when he knows it wasn't.
He doesn't like being told what to do or how to do it, and he does his best to not rely on anyone else. He throws away instruction manuals, determined that he can do things himself. Potato powers. Brahm has the ability to grow thick, light maroon, root-like tendrils. Breaking through his skin each time that he uses them and causing him immense pain when they do, the tendrils grow from various points on his shoulder blades and upper back area. The roots grow at an average rate of 0.25 inches per second, but, once they have grown, they can move very quickly about. However, they retract at the same rate as they grow, and they can only grow to reach 20ft, though he can extend the small fibers on them a few extra feet.
The tendrils have the ability to feel, and thus, they can feel pain. It is as if they are extra organs growing from the body. Though they are resilient and thickβ 1 - 2.5 inches thick, to be exactβ the tendrils themselves can still be cut. If they are cut, there is no blood, but there is immense pain to Brahm, which usually causes him to recoil his tendrils. Once recoiled, his back heals in an instant, as if the tendrils had never left his body.

Quiet, withdrawn, and softspoken, Connor tends to be a follower not a leader, although he does become solely focused when given a task at hand. He's not necessarily bitter, and he's not necessarily antisocial, he just prefers to be... left alone. To his own devices, so to speak. More of the kind of guy that wants to be left alone.
It can be difficult to get information out of him or read his expressions or his body language because Connor has become a master of controlling his outward thoughts. And, to be honest, his inward thoughts. Nothing really gets to him simply because he doesn't allow it.

Regeneration -- kind of. Basically, Connor gets injured, Connor's body will put itself back together again. When he first found out how he had, well, some kind of skill, it would take minutes for wounds to heal up but now, smaller wounds take mere seconds -- a blink of an eye, and a paper cut or a small burn is gone. Deeper wounds still take a while, but anything is still healable. Hell, even losing an appendage or a body part will result in it, eventually, coming back (Connor learned that the hard way).
With this comes a certain amount of pain tolerance -- as in, Connor doesn't really feel injuries. It's like his body is constantly under anesthetic. He could take a bullet to the leg, he could burn his hand, he could an arm, and all Connor would feel is a dull sensation.

Young Connor was born to two teenage parents on a cold day in the middle of January in the middle of a snowstorm. He was born in his mom's home because the roads outside were too trecherous to try and make their way to the hospital, and then he was named Connor after his father's older brother.
... Or so he was told.
Connor never met his parents.
After he was born, his first experience out into the world was being dropped at a fire station (did you know you could drop babies at fire stations? True story) while his mother was on her way to school or work or something. Just your average morning, you know -- first drop the baby you never wanted off at the fire station bundled up in a carrier with a note detailing what you had named him and why you were doing this.
Growing up, Connor was never adopted. Instead, he was bounced around from overcrowded orphanage to overcrowded orphanage.
And that was... it.
2014

The rest of his time growing up was basically the same on a day-to-day basis. Connor hopped between foster homes and went to school every day without fail. He was never particularly popular, but he was never particularly unpopular -- instead, Connor sort of... faded into the background from people. The quiet little blonde boy was easy to ignore and even easier to forget about.
That was it -- that was his time growing up. Boring, right?
Until it wasn't. Until one day, Connor was heading home. He'd just turned eighteen. Got into a fight with his foster parents and hopped out the window. He was just wandering around that night when, out of nowhere, there was a... ball. Of light. Of something.
Connor touched it and it disappeared.
He blamed it on a trick of the light.
Except that a couple days later, he got in a fight with one of the guys at school. His nose was bleeding and from what he'd seen in the mirror, it was crooked. Probably broken, but Connor had barely felt a thing. He blamed it on the adrenaline of the moment. The adrenaline of the fight.
He waited outside the office to speak to the principal when he looked down at the backs of his hands -- his fists were bruised, bloodied, and scraped but then he blinked...
And the injuries looked smaller.
Connor brought his hand closer to his face and he watched as the skin stitched itself back together.
By time he was called into the office, the injuries were gone -- all that remained to show he'd been in a fight happened to be the blood that still stuck to his face.
He spent the next couple months trying to figure out what the fuck was going on. Connor went from giving himself paper cuts, to burning his fingers, to snapping his pinkies, to one time actually breaking his arm (which was actually an accident) to test what the fuck was happening.
Each time, his body stitched itself back together.
All he could think of was those weird lights.
So Connor grabbed the few belongings he had, a little bit of money, and he left to chase the stars.

He's got that... overly confident, thinks he's never wrong type of vibe. Liam can be kind of sarcastic, kind of a dick, kind of hard to... tolerate sometimes. He will adamantly argue something to the death, even if it's proven that he's actually wrong or even if Liam no longer thinks he was right, he won't admit it. He'll just keep arguing that original point -- stubbornness is a strong suit of his.
Despite his shortcomings in that department, Liam is a fairly hardworker when he puts his mind to something. It's not like he passed through school with straight A's for any other reason, after all. When he's determined and passionate about something, Liam can get it done in record time. However, he will put work and school ahead of... basically everything.

Liam was the older son born to Robert and Elanor Townes. You know, the cooler, better brother. Really, in Liam's opinion, his folks should've just stopped after they were blessed with his perfect self, but.... Anyway, his father was the resident mecanic and their mom worked as a secretary for the mayor. Not the most glamorous jobs, and it wasn't like they were rolling in cash, but hey. They had enough to get by from month to month, so Liam can't complain.
Growing up, he didn't spend a whole lot of time at home with his parents or brother. Instead, Liam spent more of his time off with his friends and playing games. Lot of sports. His dad tried to drag him down to the autoshop, but Liam's obvious dislike of it eventually made his father just give up. Look, cars are boring.

Liam was... 13-ish when the boys' mom left. Can't say it really bothered him (it totally did), but it hit their dad so much harder. The days were spent normally -- his dad at work -- but he's always return home to a bottle of whiskey and he'd just be gone for the night. Liam was old enough that he felt the need to step up and try to help raise Logan, but the differences between the boys just... caused more problems. Sometimes Liam wonders if Logan would've been better off if he'd just ignored him.
Look, Liam really did try to be there for Logan, alright? He tried to steer him down the right path, but then Logan started making some not so good friends, and the next thing Liam knew, his brother was doing drugs. Getting fights. Not coming home. Liam tried to step in when it first started happening, but eventually he gave up.
His focus? Getting the fuck out -- which meant focusing on his grades, and focusing on football so he could get a scholarship to a university as far away from Wilmont as possible.
When Liam graduated, the brothers weren't really talking. Liam was offered a scholarship to John Hopkins University and he didn't hesitate in taking them up on the offer -- which pissed Logan off enough that he went and got expelled. Liam would've tried to make it up with his brother -- he's an understanding individual, after all... except that Logan kind of hooked up with Claire, Liam's girlfriend.
He left and didn't look back and certainly didn't talk to either his bastard brother or his cheating bitch of an ex.

Independent and a bit of a hot-head, Aria is kind of... well, she's a total wild child. Being an only child to a single mother that's always busy working has meant that Aria had to learn, quite quickly, how to fend for herself and take care of herself. As such, she hates relying on anyone else for help and will stubbornly refuse to admit when she needs anything.
She's a bit of a flirt, and tends to sleep around -- Aria spends more time away from her home than she does at it. Aria was born to two high school sweethearts fresh out of high school. Things went well for a while for them -- her parents cared about her a lot and although money was tight, it wasn't like Aria ever went hungry or was left wanting anything more. Her parents put her first every time and for a while, yeah, her young life was happy.
Well, then her dad cheated. Yeah, her dad cheated on her mom, ended up leaving, and the last she knows, he ended up moving to... San Francisco or something. Aria hasn't seen her dad since she was young, but that's totally fine. All she needed was her mom.
Well, and her best friend, Lucius, who she met in like first grade or kindergarten. Aria can't really remember when she met him, just that they'd been pretty much inseparable since childhood.

So babysitting, as you might know, is super freaking expensive. This meant that Aria spent a lot of time on her own and taking care of herself. From the age of eight, she was tasked with going home, going inside, locking the door, and not letting anyone else in until her mother would arrive home a couple hours later.
This wasn't bad, per say, and it turned Aria into the girl she is today. That girl being, of course, someone that is extremely independent to a near fault. Hey, she hasn't needed anyone since she was young, and why would she start needing to rely on other people now when it's so much easier and less disappointing if you just rely on yourself?
However, as she grew older, Aria soon found herself getting distracted and spending less time alone at home waiting for her mother. Instead, she started heading out nearly every night to hangout with whoever was willing to tolerate her for the night. She drank, she smoked, she slept around. When she was younger, she would return home to see her mother, but nowadays... it'll be a week or so until she heads back to the apartment to see her mom

Camila was born the second child to fairly wealthy parents in the city of Wilmont, Washington. The de Valdez's were well-known in the wealthier community and, to be honest, it was probably a bit of a surprise that a family that was so well-off had decided to settle down in little nowhere Wilmont, Washington. Camila's mom used to say that it was because Seattle was no place to raise a family -- that their parents preferred the sleepy town atmosphere of Wilmont, although it meant a longer commute for her father to head to work.
Life for Camila was easy. She didn't see much of her dad due to work but, when he was home, he spent all of his time with Cam and Val. Things were great, good, perfect even. Val and Cam were close, nearly inseparable, and they always had their mother when their father wasn't around. She had chosen to work from home so that she could be with the girls.
Everything was great, amazing...

Cam and Val were old enough to be fairly self-sufficient, but it was still rough to go from having a warm, loving mother around all the time to... just nothing.
The girls started to drift apart after the death of their mother and Cam ended up spending more time by herself or alone. Sure, at school she still plastered on this facade of being alright -- and none of her friends really knew just how much she was still hurting -- but at home, she grew... distant, almost. Withdrawing into herself and distancing herself from her sister and father.

The sound of heels clicking against the tile, you look up and notice it's none other than the school's newly appointed 'it' girl. You can't help but think just a few years ago she was practically a nobody. Okay, well let's be honest here. The De Valdez girls weren't nobodies.
As if they could be in the first place with the amount of money their family gravitated around. Valencia was a quiet girl, pleasant to be around, genuine, nice. You remember her at recess, full of smiles, laughter, and just a positive person to be around.
Once her mother passed away, Valencia changed.
Rude, closed off, quiet unless she wanted something, loud behind everyone's back. She became a very stubborn and difficult person to deal with. It was either V's way or the highway to put it lightly. Her peers simply just adjusted-- as did her family.
Her want for everything and anything is as much as her filling up a hole in her heart as it is greed. But many people don't know that. And they don't care to. Valencia doesn't even want them to.
To hell with everyone else if it meant she was okay.

Touch-based Empath/Telepath. Valencia has very... tricky powers-- at least to put into words. She has the ability to feel emotions, read/influence thoughts, and can possibly see past events depending on how long the connection is to the target.
The emotions that she gains from others can be a very pleasant or a very horrid experience. Being so new to what she does isn't a help at all, Valencia can pick up someone's emotion by simply bumping into them, and that emotion can easily be passed to another from a touch. Her powers are uncontrollable in a sense of taming them and it's bound to either wreck her or someone else emotionally, and... well, depending on the emotion that passes on, even physically.
V has yet to experience a memory without an emotional tie to it. Meaning, the only past experiences that she has seen has either been an incredible, heartwarming moment or a reality shattering vision. She can relive someone's memory as if it was her own. The memory lasts as long as the emotion tied to it does, it can feel like minutes, hours, but in reality the vision lasts nothing more a few seconds in real time.
There's only so much she could take before draining herself physically, willingly or not. Nose bleeds are common in a sense of overexertion, but so far V has yet to experience her breaking point.

Valencia was the first child of fairly wealthy parents in the city of Wilmont, Washington. The De Valdez's were well-known in the wealthier community and, to be honest, it was probably a bit of a surprise that a family that was so well-off had decided to settle down in little nowhere Wilmont, Washington. Valencia's mom used to say that it was because Seattle was no place to raise a family -- that their parents preferred the sleepy town atmosphere of Wilmont, although it meant a longer commute for her father to head to work.
Life for Valencia was easy. She didn't see much of her dad due to work but, when he was home, he spent all of his time with Cam and Val. Things were great, good, perfect even. Val and Cam were close, nearly inseparable, and they always had their mother when their father wasn't around. She had chosen to work from home so that she could be with the girls.
Everything was great, amazing...
Until it wasn't.

Their mother had gotten sick, extremely sick to the point where the house was so quiet because Val and Cam's parents were stuck at the hospital every night, instead of bringing them closer, the sadness that surrounded those past few years had strained the relationship between the two sisters, unfortunately not even all the money in the world could've saved their mother and she had passed away when Valencia was 14.
She shut down.
There was weeks upon weeks where Valencia wouldn't leave her room, she unfriended her friends and became somewhat of a loner. Until she just became fed up of feeling... empty. And so, she returned to school, returned to her so-called friends she treated almost terribly, all while setting her sights on having everything and anything she wants. Deciding to focus on everything she could have instead of the things that she lost.
Everyone-- well, mostly everyone had adjusted to the new Valencia, all while mourning the V they used to know.

It all started with a back-to-school party.
Valencia was alone, getting some air after a previous argument with a 'friend' when the stars fell. Despite being the smart woman that she is, she decided to investigate the glowing orb on the ground. It disappeared and that night alone stood on her brain for days, it was only that monday was when she realized something was wrong. Accidently bumping into someone and overhearing insults spew, Valencia turned around with rage, ready to release it at the person when he swore he never spoke a word.
After getting sent to the principal's office, V was almost convinced she was going crazy. Everyone she had remotely come into contact with... they were in her head. Or rather, she was in theirs. There was so many voices, so many thoughts, it was overwhelming.
She couldn't handle it.
V couldn't handle any of it.
That was, until she realized she could use it to her advantage.

Logan is the younger of two sons born to Robert and Eleanor Townes. His father made his living as Wilmontβs resident mechanic and his mom was a secretary for the mayor. Money wasnβt the easiest to come by, but they had the necessities. A home-cooked meal every night and a warm place to sleep. Thatβs all they really needed.
Unlike his older brother, Logan spent most of his time with his father at the auto shop. Heβd hand him tools and learn about cars. By the time he was 10, he already knew how to change a tire, do an oil change and change spark plugs.

When Logan was 11, his mom skipped town and never looked back. His dad wasnβt the same after that. Heβd spend his days at the shop and his nights with a bottle of whiskey. This left Loganβs older brother, Liam to help raise him. It went all right at first, but Logan and Liam were opposites and that lead to a lot of problems.
Even then, Liam always looked out for Logan. But when Logan entered high school, he fell into the wrong crowd. Heβd get in fights. Stay out all night. Experiment with drugs. And his brother focused on the only goal he had: getting out of Wilmont as fast as he could.
At 16, Logan and Liam were barely speaking. Liam was pissed cause Logan had gotten himself expelled from school and Logan was pissed because Liam had gotten a scholarship somewhere on the other side of the country. Any chance at reconciliation was dashed when Logan and Claire, Liamβs girlfriend, hooked up the night of Liamβs graduation.
Liam took off after that. He and Claire barely spoke and Logan was alone.

After the night that Aurelia saw the stars fall, everything started to seem... really really bright. Like, looking straight at the sun bright. She found herself having to shield her eyes away from any light source, constantly squinting and just overall getting migraines. All of this seems to subside during the night when she finally feels relaxed. Umbrakinesis.
Aurelia has the ability to see during the night as one would see during the day. Every little detail is apparent to her, like night vision. She can also snuff out any light that's within a 0.5-mile radius of her location. She also has the ability to hide in the shadows and essentially become one with the dark, as if she were under an invisibility cloak.
She's also extremely weak during the daytime and finds lights uncomfortable and sometimes unbearable, having to don sunglasses just make it through the day. The longer she spends in the light, the more exhausted she gets as if it's just draining her energy.

Aurelia was born along with her twin sister Eleanor on the 22nd of August, 2000. From the moment of birth, the two were inseperable with Aurelia coming 30 seconds after Ellie was born. If you needed to find one, they'd be with the other. Aurelia felt blessed in her life, having been born with a best friend, and also having an older sister whom she looked up to. While Eliza wasn't the most responsible kid in the world, Aurelia always thought she was super cool. Whenever she wasn't busy hanging out with Ellie, she'd be following after Eliza, watching her every move. Her parents were in as much love as Aurelia could remember and it was perfect.
Then Atti came along and when Aurelia first learned she was getting a brother, she sobbed and threw a tantrum. She was perfectly fine with Eliza and Ellie at her side and she really didn't need anyone more. But lo and behold, once she was holding her baby brother in her arms, she couldn't help but fall in love with his little face. The two would always have the tumultuous relationship of either love or hate. It was never in between. Soon the perfect family split apart when her father got caught up in some bad work and her mother divorced him. Aurelia never really understood what was happening, but she had her siblings and that's all that really mattered. It was weird only being with one parent 2 weeks of the month and the other during the second half, but eventually she got used to it.

As she reached her teen years, Aurelia noticed something going on. Although they would spend half their time with their father, she noticed she wasn't seeing Eliza or their dad that much. In fact, the two seemed to disappear as if someone wouldn't notice. Whenever they'd come back, she would notice Eliza looking rough, with a new bruise or scratch here and there. This worried her beyond anything. She knew Eliza and her father were up to something, and knowing her siblings, they'd be wanting to fall into their footsteps if Aurelia didn't say something. And one did. After one night, Aurelia sneaked out of her room to check on Ellie, who had complained about Eliza spending too much time with their dad. When Aurelia found her bed empty along with Eliza and their father's, she knew she had to do something.
And so she ventured to the phone and dialed their mother's number.
After that, everything changed dramatically. Eliza was sent away and absolutely despised Aurelia for what she did. Ellie was upset, but their bond could never be broken. Atti didn't understand what was going on and blamed Aurelia just as Eliza had. Aurelia hated herself a little too, but she knew if she hadn't said something, someone would've gotten hurt. Their mother decided to take their beloved father to court again, this time winning more custody over the four. This caused a split in the family, one Aurelia wasn't sure that was reasonable, but it was to her doing anyways. Maybe she shouldn't have said something?

And now everything falls apart
After the rift, Aurelia's views for her older sister quickly dissipated. Instead of being understanding, Eliza treated her as if she murdered someone, a traitor, which threw her off the pedestal that Aurelia had placed her so highly upon in her mind. Instead, she soon turned into an unforgiving monster that couldn't grow up and understand that a child shouldn't be thrown into dangerous stuff. Not only did her relationship with Eliza dissolve, but her relationship with her father did as well. Aury couldn't look him in the eye after that. She couldn't fathom how a grown man could willingly throw his own young children into danger so easily. He was the grown-up, he should've done what Aury did. Her relationship with Atti was almost the same, with only more explosive arguments and perhaps a tighter bond when they did get along. Aurelia once held Eliza on a tall pedestal in her mind, as she looked up to her for everything. This all changed once Aurelia told their mother about what was happening with their father and Eliza said some pretty venomous things that left a bad taste in Aurelia's mouth. Atti is Aury's ride or die... sometimes being die. The two are either the bestest of friends or will be trying to kill each other. There is never an inbetween. To Aury, Atti is still her baby brother and will forever be that small delicate baby that she held when she was just a toddler. But babies can be annoying and the same can be said for Atti. Sometimes she wants to throw him out of window, sometimes she wants to rule the world with him. You never know what it'll be.

Before the secret came out, Aury was close with her father. She'd hug him every night before going to sleep and make sure he'd read her a bedtime story. Then he started putting her siblings in danger and the picture of the perfect father was torn and shredded to pieces. Instead, she began to see him as an immature man who would put his own daughters in danger because he couldn't say no to him. Instead of being a father figure, she views him as pathetic and doesn't think very highly of him-- and she's sure he doesn't think much of her either.

And the thinking he's doing is usually overthinking. He may be decent at schoolwork, but that's about the end of his smarts. He picks up on most social cues, but gets flustered easily and always finds a way to tell the truth at the worst time possible. As much as he lacks confidence, he is prone to rash decisions and the occasional bit of theatrics in high-stress situations.

Lex was born and spent the majority of his life raised by his single mom in Chicago. His father was never in the picture; whether he was an old boyfriend or a one-night stand is beyond Lex, as his mom doesn't speak of it and Lex has never had the courage nor interest to ask. What Lex does know, though, is that his mother was estranged from her family, leaving her the only relative in his life. It's always been just the two of them and, while Lex has never resented her for it, it got lonely sometimes as a kid. She's still always been his best friend and biggest supporter, but it's hard to do so when you're hardly present.
Lex's mother worked two jobs to support herself and her son back in Chicago. They never had much, as expected growing up in a rather poor neighborhood in the city. Lex was a textbook latchkey kid, passing the time while his mom was away with comic books and made-up games. Most of the kids in the apartment complex steered clear of Lex at the demands of their parents. Lex's mother was always the topic of some distasteful rumors and conversations thanks to her slight eccentricity and undisclosed past, the most popular one being that she can't get a good job because of a criminal record. Lex, again, has never pressed the subject. The kids' parents feared association with Lex would bring unnecessary drama and danger into their lives.
Lex's social life was no better in school. Being the quiet kid whose wardrobe was mostly tattered, he was ripe for bullying among us his peers. After his initial ostracization, it became immensely difficult to find friends at school, as no one wanted to be lumped in with the antisocial, greasy-haired boy most often found with his nose buried in a book he'd already read six times over.
Things got a little better in high school when Lex found his own group of friends. He came out of his shell a little bit, especially thanks to the praise his teachers gave him for his academic prowess. They recognized he was a bright mind plagued with a lack of confidence and encouraged him to keep doing well in school. Things were pretty alright. Lex initially had a tough break, but his freshman year proved to be a turning point in his social life. By then he had grown accustomed to solitude and missing out on opportunities out of a fear of rejection, but ever since, he's been working on treating himself better.
Mid-sophomore year, however, Lex and his mother were abruptly forced to relocate to Wilmont, Washington. Allegedly, Lex's father had been calling his mom and swinging by their place in an attempt to get in contact with them. She grew more anxious by the day, wanting nothing to do with the man. Much to Lex's surprise, they moved across the country in a matter of a couple weeks. It took a heavy amount of adjustment to integrate into life in Wilmont, but thanks to the majority of his free time spent indoors, Lex has managed to get by with only a minor amount of homesickness.

powers.Electrokinesis. Can manipulate electricity, such as supercharging objects or releasing bursts of static electricity. His powers aren't very strong, but they do gain strength in storms or through absorbing static charge from electrified objects in exchange for losing some stability. He can also lose stability via entering a wild, blinding state completely covered in electricity, completely charging his entire body and frying everything he touches. He's never attempted it, nor does he know he's capable of it or the taxing effects it has on his body. Lex gets exhausted easily and can't use his powers long; otherwise, he'll pass out from the exhaustion. When stressed, he starts to twitch a little and stray sparks start to shed from his fingertips and trail in his footsteps.
hero suit.The majority of Lex's suit is cosmetic, namely the helmet to protect his identity. There is no way he can be trusted not to let a mask fall off of his face or something. It gets real hot and sweaty in there, but hey, it's better than having his personal life exposed, right? The primary function, however, lies in the intricately designed conductive, metallic threads that make up the majority of his suit. His gloves have the highest concentration of this alloy, allowing for a drastically increased amount of control with his electric bolts. It doesn't actually increase the power of his charges, howeverβjust the extent to which he can control them.
Moreover, the soles of his shoes are able to make use of electrostatic repulsion to launch Lex forward, bounding (not exactly hovering) in the air and making him quicker on his feet. His shoes make it much more efficient to channel a consistent flow of positive charges into the bottom of his feet, which interact with stray negative charges, in turn sending Lex off the ground. This same method can be used to quickly anchor himself to the ground, instead allowing like charges to attract to one another and pull Lex downward.
Not a part of his suit, per se, but Lex has been known to draw electricity from his phone, calculator, or whatever powered objects he may have on hand in a pinch. If he remembers, he'll bring a pair of ugly, yellow non-conductive rubber gloves in case he has trouble keeping unwanted sparks from flying off of his hands.

description.Aster, at a glance, is a mixed bag. On one hand, his general demeanor is usually pretty harmless and easygoing, but on the other hand is an inexplicably disconcerting aura that can immediately be picked upon when around him.
Aster isn't usually one to approach people, but he has no problem keeping up with a pleasant conversation. He's extremely courteous of others' feelings and does his best to come off as a caring guy. He constantly self-deprecates and does his best to boost the egos of those around him. If he wants burgers and you want pizza, he'll insist on getting pizza and apologize for his choice with a smile. Aster is a hapless, innocuous guy at its finest. No matter how hard he tries, he's a magnet for misfortune and has developed an extremely defeatist attitude. He doesn't let it get to him too much and opts to congratulate others for their successes rather than dwell on his failures. Just keep in mind never to go somewhere with Aster if you're not into watching guys trip over nothing and lose their wallet every five seconds.
However, there are two sides to every coin. The majority of Aster's kind, spineless persona is a mask to conceal his deep-seated disdain for the world. He has a sharp tongue, but only in his head. He has a low tolerance for most people and gets irritated easily, although he rarely ever acts on it. Although most of his nice guy act is a ruse to insert himself into others' lives and get what he wants, the one consistent thing between his personas is his inherent self-doubt and insecurity. He plays along with others not only because he usually wants something, but because he really, really needs to be liked, even by those he can't stand. He used to be deathly afraid of talking to people, but since tapping into his fear abilities, he's become much more outgoing and brave.
He'd be almost guaranteed to get away with it if it weren't for the fact that he can't do anything to change the slightly unsettling feeling people get when talking to him, no matter how kind and genuine he forces himself to be.

Aster is a Boston native, a fact one could only observe if you listened closely to his voice. He grew up in a middle-class household, his mother a saleswoman and his father a yoga instructor. As the middle child with a younger and older sister, the three were doted on equally by their parents. His life was pretty typical for a young boy; he had a loving family, did well in school, and made lots of friends from school and his soccer team.
That was, of course, until the night of January 22nd when he was 12 years old. On their way back from a friend's birthday party, Aster's mother and his older sister, Lorelei, got involved in a car accident, landing them both in the hospital. While Aster's mom recovered with a permanent injury to her spine, Lorelei passed away in the hospital days later.
The family was heartbroken, never able to truly move on from the incident. Aster's mother has blamed herself since the day it happened, but the family never held it against her. She was the driver, but in the end, it was the other driver (who was later found to have been under the influence) that had collided with her and there was no negligence on her part.
Even so, the subject of his mother's guilt has always been tense in their household, even if no one but Aster held it against her. He was quite possibly the most devastated; Lorelei had been his best friend ever since they were little kids. No matter what everyone said, he could never look at his mother the same again. Aster never told her to her face, but he didn't have to. He grew cold and distant, especially from his mother, lashing out at random intervals. And she never questioned it, having felt the same resentment for herself ever since. Aster's grades began to decline and he withdraw from his friends and family.
He moved out of his family's place as soon as he could, floundering around in community college for a few years until he dropped out altogether. He's never held a job for more than a few months; oftentimes, Aster laments on his life's lack of purpose and direction.
Shortly before he dropped out, though, Aster saw the stars. At first, the power felt like a curse. People and even animals sometimes seemed to avoid him for no reason, as though he'd said something strange. Horror movies stopped scaring him. People became much easier to read, almost as if Aster had developed the intuition to sense the fears that drive people overnight. Eventually, he learned to live with his powers, using them as a means for gaining insight on others' emotions and how his own fears played a part in disrupting his happiness.
Aster found himself somewhat enlightened by these realizations. He slowly began to regain the cheeriness he exuded before he'd lost Lorelei under the mindset that nothing really matters and that irrational, unlikely fears are one of the main culprit in impeding on the progress of individuals. So why would Aster retreat into the recesses of his mind when, really, all of the turmoil he experienced was, in the grand state of human consciousness, frivolous?
In no time, Aster became obsessed with his power for the release it gave him. This led him to following the rumor that similar instances of superpowers began cropping up across the country. He followed one of these leads to Washington and, eventually, Wilmont, where he rented out an apartment with his parents' money. He hopes in some way to gain more power and control the gift he already has. Perhaps, there's something in Wilmont that could suit his purposes or, at the very least, educate him on the nature of his abilities.

powers.Fear Manipulation. Can sense and draw upon feelings of dread or fear. With a decent amount of focus, he can pick up on others' phobias and negative emotions; the clarity of his reads on people's mind states depends entirely on how intently he focuses on it. For example, if someone is worried because their pet cat ran away, Aster would only be able to get a vague idea of "anxiety from cat" unless he thinks really, really hard about it. His range of detection for emotion is mostly limited to emotions like worry, doubt, and fear; if someone is feeling extremely happy or angry, he wouldn't be able to trace it using his powers.
Not only can he sense fear, but he can aggravate it within another person. If he can successfully gather enough about someone's phobias through his powers, he can force thoughts and imagery about them in their head. Very rarely can he induce hallucinations and craft illusions as well, although they can be easily manipulated and banished based on how the person experiencing them perceives them. To an extent, he can control the degree of his manipulation; this can range from an inexplicably quicker heartbeat to a relentless onslaught of mental terror. Usually it's somewhere in the middle. The overuse of his powers is very mentally draining, though, and Aster experiences something he calls "static" after overexerting himself. A sound similar to TV static blares in his head, getting louder and harder to tune out the more power he uses. It causes him to lose focus and, in turn, become unable to use his abilities to their full extent.
As a small side effect of his powers, Aster has a slightly off-putting aura. It's not enough to really say anything, but most people in his presence perceive him to be slightly off and get a general feeling of dread emanating off of him. Not great for first impressions.

Elizabeth Jane Bailey was born on January 19th, 1998 in the town of Wilmont. Born to local politician, Evan Bailey, and his lovely wife, Amy, Elizabeth was the eldest of four children and, to be honest, the most different of the bunch. It was odd to think that Elizabeth was the black sheep of the family even despite being the eldest child.
Growing up, Eliza got on well with her sisters two years her junior, Ellie and Aurelia, but it wasnβt until her youngest sibling and brother, Atticus, was born that Eliza really felt at home. Everyone knew that Eliza was the oddball of the family. Always more rambunctious than her sisters, always more outspoken and loudmouthed than her brother. Being the eldest daughter and the child of a respected politician would lead many to believe that she would grow up to be like her parents: collected, respected, loyal to her community. Atticus always understood her, being just as playful and fun loving as she was. So, she would turn to him for everything she could.
teenage years
Elizabethβs school age years were filled with suspensions, late night parties, and skipping class. Eliza would have done an excellent job in school if she had been inclined to care about her classes or a job or her clubs. Instead of developing a taste for academics, she played around and had fun, enjoying her teenage years as much as she could. Eliza didnβt care that she wasnβt an overly good influence on her siblings, not the perfect little daughter her parents wanted. Eliza made sure that her siblings knew that she would always be there for them, taking on more than a few bullies and general jerks over the years. She didnβt mind causing trouble to keep the people she loved safe and hell, if she had fun doing it, even better.
A lot of people assumed that Eliza would mellow out with age, to grow up and get her head screwed on right on her shoulders. But she never did. She only got more rambunctious, more in love with the thrill of life, more in love with breaking every rule in the book. Eliza was considered, in layman's terms, a disappointment. She began to push back against her parents, doing whatever she desired whenever she desired. It was a life that Eliza loved living, the feeling of truly being alive becoming a drug to her. Always keeping people she cared about safe, Eliza had little regard for her own safety or wellbeing.
The rift between her and her parents only continued to grow. After her fatherβs involvement with Xernon Powers came to light, and the subsequent divorce between her parents, Eliza made a permanent shift. She was angry, afraid, alone. Eliza locked herself down, only showing up to school for examinations and assignment due dates, spending all of her free time going to parties and having fun. At the end of the day, Eliza felt as if she was alone. But she was growing suspicious of her father, suspicious of herself. The stars had fallen and Eliza feltβ¦ Different.
Eventually, Eliza discovered her powers. First when she was holding her then boyfriendβs hand and having a conversation, her voice shifted to perfectly imitate his. Then, her hair would change colours unexpectedly, her limbs lengthening and shortening. Before long, she would notice herself shifting into other people when she would touch them, eventually into animals. Eventually, she learned to control her powers, being able to morph into other humans or animals, even changing superficial aspects about herself.
Elizaβs suspicions about her father only grew and, thanks to her inquisitive nature and her natural intellect, she figured it out. Her father, Evan Bailey, was the vigilante in Wilmont. Steele.
She tossed around the idea of turning him in for a while. After all, he had done morally questionable things before, what would stop him from taking bribes or hurting people again? Eliza came to the conclusion that perhaps there was nothing her father wouldnβt do, that turning him in would be the best idea. But when did Elizabeth Bailey ever do anything the normal way? She confronted her father with each of his secrets out on display and one absolutely crazy demand: she wanted to join him.

Eliza managed to break him down, allowing her to work by his side in secret. Everything about vigilante life was exciting, nearly addictive to the teenager. She was good at what she did, watching from shadows as stray dogs or field mice. Eliza was a sponge for information, joining her father on raids to keep people safe. They were operating outside of the law, taking danger into their own hands. Eliza loved every second of her work and had plans to continue her operations after she graduated high school.
She would never get the chance to see her promise to continue her vigilante work. Eliza took on a dangerous job without telling her father, rushing headfirst into a world of violence. She was held hostage, beaten, threatened. When her father came to rescue her, Eliza saw a side of him that she wished she could unsee. There was so much blood, there was hardly anything left of Trey Fox when her father was done with him. Although she was happy to be out of danger, the glare in Evanβs eyes scared Eliza more than anything else ever had.
Life continued to spiral. Eliza acted out, a rift grew between her and her father. Eventually, Elizaβs younger sister, Aurelia, figured everything out and told their mother. Custody battles ensued and the decision to ship the troubled Eliza off to military school was made.
Military school was hell, even though Eliza was doing incredibly well. She was moving up the ranks at a rate that she despised. Eventually, Eliza cracked. She started partying, sleeping around, using substances. She wanted out, the success was terrifying to her. After two and a half years of hell, Eliza was discharged and expelled from the school for bad behaviour.
She bounced around for a bit of time after, trying to find her footing as an adult. Eliza didnβt want to go to college and her shitty part-time jobs were hardly enough to make a living off of. Eliza ended up moving back home at 20 and landing a job at a local mechanicβs shop as a technician, resentful and bitter towards her parents. Eliza has hardly spoken to her father since, blaming him for her getting shipped off. Eliza has been working to get her life in order, though she struggles to find direction and meaning in anything she does and has recently found herself dipping back into her old ways. A few parties wouldnβt hurt, right?

β½ Overview βΎ
Biomorphing is described as the ability to morph, or shift, into anything living. It is considered a variant of specialized shapeshifting with extreme accuracy and skill at the cost of a limited span of available objects, people, or traits to shift into. Shifting does not take a long time, the speed of a morph improving with practice. Other biomorphing limitations are specific to the individual morpher, no two biomorphic individuals having the same limitations.

For Eliza, her biomorphing capabilities are limited to changing her own appearance (hair colour, height, musclarness/physique, eye colour), morphing into animals she has touched in the past, and people she is touching at the time of her shift. Eliza is incredibly skilled in transforming her personal attributes in a few seconds.
When Eliza shifts into a person, she is nearly undetectable. Her voice, scent, and entire physical appearance changes to match the individual she shifted into. Eliza can also shift only certain parts of her body to become similar to another individual she is touching skin-to-skin, including their voices, eye colour, face, or hair. Although Eliza usually uses semi-shifts as a joke, they can be incredibly useful skills to use. Shifting into other people is Elizaβs most adored skill she has
Eliza doesnβt spend a lot of time in animal form. She finds shifting into animals rather uncomfortable. However, Eliza is incredibly good at morphing into animals that she has previously touched. When shifting into an animal, her entire body must shift into said animal making semi-shifts impossible. When she does morph into an animal, she gains the typical abilities of the animal such as their speed, strength, or agility, among other things.
Personal morphing is Elizaβs most used ability. She loves to change around parts of herself, mostly for fun, but has learned how to change herself around for her own benefit. Although this skill is sort of impractical and is mostly for fun, Eliza loves to use it. The only ability that she can change outside of her physical appearance is her strength, which she can temporarily increase.
β½ Weaknesses/Limitations βΎ
Shifting uses up a great deal of energy, limiting Eliza to three to four full shifts per day, excluding the shift back to her normal self. She cannot permanently change her appearance as a permanent shift would take up an incredible amount of energy that she does not possess. Shifting requires a lot of concentration so a sudden movement, noise, or impact may knock her from her shift.
Shifting into other people drains the most amount of her energy, especially if it is for more than a few minutes at a time. Alternate human forms are difficult to maintain and Eliza is limited into shifting only into people she is touching at the time of her shift. She must also be touching skin to skin, meaning Eliza usually grabs a hand, arm, or wrist if she wants to shift into an alternate human. When she shifts, she does not acquire any skills or powers they may possess outside of what can be considered a normal attribute (ie. if she were to grab onto a bodybuilder, she would have their strength. But if that bodybuilder also had elementalist skills, she would not obtain those skills).
Animal shifting is the next most expensive, with larger animals (her largest form being a grizzly bear) costing significantly more than her smaller animals (the smallest being a mouse). Eliza can only shift into mammals, meaning she cannot transform into fish, insects, or reptiles.
Personal shifting is incredibly limited. Eliza can pretty much only change what can be seen. She cannot change the way her organs function or fix up wounds. Personal morphing is very superficial and rarely affects her abilities. Although she can temporarily increase her strength, that is the limitation of the changes of her abilities.

Evan J. Bailey was born on September 1, in the city of Wilmont. Both of Evan's parents were hard working immigrants that'd migrated to America in hopes of a better life. His father, Cole Bailey, was strong Irishman who instilled a strong sense of responsibility into Evan, and his siblings. His mother, Elizabeth Gomez-Bailey, was indeed the back-bone of the family. She stretched herself thin to take care of her three boys; Scott, Andrew, and the youngest of the bunch, Evan.
By the time Evan had reached prime school age, his brother Scott was already working, with Andrew soon on the way out. Evan didn't experience many of the struggles his elder brothers faced growing up, and had a trail blazed in front of him for him to follow. Throughout school, he'd always been touted at the "exclamation mark" to the Bailey trilogy. Where Scott had always been the athletic prodigy, and Andrew booksmart, Evan boasted both. He was a football star in high school, and held a lucrative 3.9 GPA. Evan, with inspiration from his father and his idea for the greater good, saw law as his passion. Following a school career filled with extracurriculars, and scholarships, Evan was reached out to by Wilmont's district attorney. "You come work for me when you're outta' school, young feller." And that was exactly what he did.
He graduated from Columbia law school with a Magna Cum Laude. In spite of being a heavily recruited associate out of school, Evan (a man founded strongly on his morals) returned to Wilmont, where he worked as the assistant district attorney. As a rookie, he was heavily criticized and doubted. With his kind of upbringing though, that was only a fuel to his fire. He quickly became known as a gunslinging district attorney with an axe to grind with evil. It was months working at the D.A.'s office that finally allowed him to meet Amy Bailey, the daughter of his mentor. One thing lead to the other, and two years later she was signing her name as Amy Bailey.
Even now, Evan remembers the soft, gentle feeling of a baby's head cupped inside of his massive hands. In complete honesty, he wasn't ready for Eliza when she was conceived. His career was sky rocketing, and fatherhood would only serve as a distraction. When he was finally met with this cup-sized reflection of himself though, Evan finally realized that perhaps settling down was the best for himself, and his loving wife. She was named "Elizabeth" his mother, but he and Amy would always call her Eliza.
Two years later, the twins had arrived. Two bundles of joy, Evangeline (after himself), and Aurelia, meaning gold. In spite of Amy's best wishes, Evan had her resign from her schooling job in order to watch the three kids 25/8. At work, he'd usurped his predecessor, and now district attorney-level money was flowing in. His wife didn't need to work another day in her life.
To think things couldn't get any sweeter, Atticus Bailey was born (and soon after Evan had a vasectomy). The child was named after his mentor, and his wife's father, Atticus. He was both a family man, and a public servant. Life could not get any better.

Following his 33rd birthday, Evan couldn't help but feel like his life had somehow wondered into a limbo. It wasn't a knock to his full family of 6, or the accolades piling up in his office. The feeling sweeping over him stemmed from Evan's competitiveness. Throughout his teens he always had the need to do better than his brothers before him, and in university he fought tooth and nail for the topmost ranking in his class. Evan Bailey... wasn't quite the "slowing down" type, and now it was manifesting itself in him.
And then it happened. The bright, white glow in the skies just came tumbling, and crashing down into the Earth. The stars had quite literally fallen. Unsure of what he'd seen, Evan had himself cleared by a doctor. He was mentally sound, but he was certainly changed by the strange phenomenon. It manifested itself slowly in him. Cutlery sticking to his hand, the kids' baby toys shorting out when he came near, until finally his car broke down on the side of the road. Only, Evan Bailey drove a Porsche. The latest model at that. When he turned around to check the engine (and throw a fit), a bolt of white electricity from his palms struck the car, and it suddenly blinked alive. It was then that Evan discovered just how the night had changed him.
Several nights later, the strange phenomenon had spread onto the news too. People telling tales of stars "falling down," and others speculating stranger theories. And then it happened. During a bank robbery gone wrong, the robber found himself at a standstill with the authorities. Trapped, and with no way out, the man's newfound powers manifested themselves. Flames burst out from within him, his entire body was lit with fire, and the hostages around him burned to a crisp. The police couldn't apprehend a human fireball, and so the attacker escaped the authorities. He vividly remembers the fury that ran through him- seeing his town folk so vulnerable to this menace.
So Evan did the best thing he could fathom. He contacted his university roommate, and WPD officer, Adrian Wholyfield. Evan disclosed his secret that he too had been affected by the falling stars, and had Adrian swear to secrecy. With help from his longtime friend, Evan acquired police equipment, and was able to manufacture a practical crime-fighting suit.. Straight out of the movies. Evan's get-up was (and still is) completely made up of metal, allowing him to manipulate it with his abilities, and both sheathe/unsheathe it at will. It also served as resistance to the flame-throwing foe he'd be going toe to toe with.
It took only a matter of weeks for the criminal to show up once more, this time the man had been pissed off in a pub and chose to use his powers to get his way. Fortunately, Evan was on the scene, donning his shiny, metallic attire. The battle stretched far away from the pub as Evan, and the flame-lit man exchanged blows. Lightning, metal, and fire thrashed the streets in the very public wake of their battle. When the smoke cleared at the steps of city hall, Evan stood up tall for the citizens, with a metal-clad foot forcing the criminal down and into the ground. He'd succeeded.
Following the battle, Evan was plastered all over the tabloids. The newspapers asked, "Who is Wilmont's Masked Hero???" When more and more powered criminals surfaced, and Evan fought more and more public battles, the city had chosen to name him. As a nod to his shiny, elaborate get-up, they'd dubbed him Steel. By his third year as Wilmont's public defender, not only was he given the key to the city, he was a title renowned all over the United States.

But with time, all good things come to an end.
During the Xernon Powers v Lincoln Elementary case, Evan was faced with an issue of ethics that left a lasting impact over his life. Xernon Powers was a Wilmont-based energy company that brought in millions of dollars in revenue to their city. They'd been accused of poisonning the children at Lincoln Elementary due to a nearby plant of theirs that hadn't followed health and safety guidelines, and was suspected to have given the kids lead-related health problems. The issue was that Xernon was able to clean up their evidence due to their influence over Wilmont, and sway the judges. They'd offered Evan hush money too, to wish he denied.
When the case was nearing an end it was obvious that Xernon Powers was likely to come out of it scot-free. Fueled by his morals, and the thought of the kind of world he wanted his children to grow up in, Evan buried Xernon Powers' evidence, and planted some against them too. The eventual ruling was against the Wilmont-aiding company, which caused backlash and an investigation. Evan's actions were exposed, and he was quickly disbarred and fired. The firing was very public, and the tabloids saw Evan as a man trying to sell out his own people by pushing the verdict against Xernon Powers.
Disgusted with her husband for his less than ethical actions, Amy divorced Evan, and split their custody over the children 50 to 50. Evan was without job for several months, before landing his current employment as a lousy corporate lawyer for a sleazy firm. His relationship with his children was strained because in spite of even custody over the children, he'd still been painted as a villain to his own people.

Several years later, his eldest, and most rebellious child, Eliza, had managed to put two and two together about Evan's endeavours as Steel. When faced with his daughter's request to join in as his "Oracle" of sorts, Evan couldn't help but accept. With aid from Eliza, Steel continued to patrol, and protect the citizens of Wilmont. It was only when Eliza was the one in danger, that Evan's morals as Steel needed to be questioned.
Clouded by the worry for his own child, Evan rushed in head first into a dangerous situation, a night that ended in the death of Trey Fox. The man who had held Eliza captive. An 18-year old kid who'd held her hostage for ransom because he needed to pay his mother's medical bills. While the public rejoiced when he'd burned the criminal alive with his electricity, his daughter couldn't look at him the same. The secret haunted Evan, and caused a rift to form in his relationship with Eliza. When his daughter Aurelia began to suspect wrongdoing between her father and sister, Evan made the difficult choice and sent his rebel daughter to military school. The daughter he'd confided in the most... was gone.
Not only that, because of his refusal to explain just what had suddenly spurred him to advocate for Eliza's military school, and the idea that he was keeping secrets, Amy had used the course of events to leverage a 70 to 30 percentage of shared custody.

MAGNETOKINESIS
Overview
Magnetokinesis is the ability to manipulate magnetism in all its forms; natural, organic, or artificial. The user is able to generate/manipulate electric currents, and manipulate magnetic items (iron, nickel, cobalt, etc.)
Skills
Over the years, Evan's ability to control his abilities has grown significantly. He is adept both at manipulating electric currents, magnetic materials, and using it for miscellaneous applications.

The simplest application of Evan's abilities is his ability to control and manipulate all metals, and magnetic items. Paired with focus, and bodily gestures to amplify the mind-metal connection, Evan is able to lift/push/rip metals and magnetic items with his mind. Due to being very adept in the use of his ability, Evan is able to manipulate things far bigger than himself, or what the average could easily lift. On more than one occasion has Evan Bailey levitated cars, and ripped metal beams out of scaffoldings.
He is able to both magnetize, and de-magnetize surfaces purely at his own will.
While remarkably more difficult than other applications, Evan is able to fall into sync with magnetic fields. Even if his vision is impaired, feeling out the fields allow him to see through electric currents, charges, and magnetized objects. Everybody has a remarkably different "charge" and by isolating, and recalling the electric synapses unique to an individual, he is able to track down those that he has come into physical contact with.
He uses a constant push/pull of magnetic energy to propel himself into the air, and "fly."

The electric aspects of Evan's abilities allow him to generate electricity from his palms, and fire them off in short, focused balls of electricity. By generating a continuous flow of electricity, he is also able to fire off lengthy beams of electricity.
Because most technological appliances are powered by some form of electricity, Evan is able to short/power out technological appliances, including but not limited to: telephones, cars, computers, etc.
Weaknesses/Limitations
Evan has discovered an inability to use his abilities when fully submerged in water. Any attempt to do so with the presence of others in the water leads to an unfocused beam of electricity conducting through the water, and electrocuting its occupants.
His abilities are also limited by distance, and the radius around him. Anything outside of a 40 feet radius from Evan requires an intense focus, and concentration for his abilities to truly manifest.
The larger the mass of whatever he's manipulating, the higher his focus and concentration have to be in order to control it.
In spite of popular belief, while Evan is invulnerable to the effects of electricity, he is unable to actually absorb any of it.
"Steel" Armour
Evan wears a specially designed containment suit developed with help of Adrian Wholyfield of the WPD. The costume functions as a secondary skin and is composed of a stainless steel alloy with a tensile strength of over equivalent to that of a sedan. Evan is able to manipulate the metal shell and adapt it to the curvature of his body, and re-mold its based on his movements. His magnetic abilities allow him to both sheathe, and unsheathe the suit with relative ease.
Radio interface is fixed into the helmet of the suit, and allows Evan to hitchhike on WPD communications (thanks to Adrian). The vision of the helmet allow a function that switches through to night/thermal vision, besides the dormant anti-glare when not using either.
It is bullet-proof, fire-resistant, and easily conducts electricity.
Donning the costume requires an invasive smelting and subsequent cooling process, and so the insides are lined with a thin fabric in order to aid his comfort when sporting it. Still, the tedious feeling of the suit doesn't allow Evan to wear it for much longer than an hour or so.
Equally, because it is almost entirely comprised of metal, swimming is near impossible for Evan when wearing it due to just how heavy it is.

- Sound amplification in forms of pressure waves (in other words, used in attacks) take a lot out of her throat, which means she can only do them once and then be forced to take some time to heal. Excessive use will cause her severe harm.

Personality: For most people, Angie might seem like a funny, charismatic and confident presence. A clear image of typical High School popularity. Entertaining, beautiful, and extroverted. The people who know her, truly know her, know that her outward βapproachableβ personality is nothing more than a facade masking her true self. Angie doesnβt see most of her friends as people, but simply a means to an end. Tools to keep her at the top of the High School pyramid. She likes to surround herself with those who act more as followers than actual friends; superficial and loyal people who will turn a blind eye to her more reprehensible actions and will always be there to remind her that sheβs always in the right and everyone else is simply stupid. There are very few things Angela remembers about her biological parents. She remembers the filthy surroundings of their home, and the constant yelling around the house. Other than that, she only remembers her brother. It was a voluntary choice from their parents to leave them at an adoption agency, dropping them off with a note that explained that their parents (who werenβt named) couldnβt take care of them. Thus, they were sent to a foster home. A βtemporary arrangement,β theyβd told her. Unfortunately for the children, that statement couldnβt have been any more wrong.
Growing up in the foster care system, even while being in one of the most desirable ages for adoption, was hard. Being newcomers, Angela and her brother were not as well received by the other children as theyβd hoped. They kept their heads down, hoping they would eventually be left alone or wouldnβt spend that much time in the system. Everyone was confident they would not have as much trouble as the other children finding a home, themselves included. Angela was determined and hopeful she and her brother would find someone, and she quickly learned the importance of keeping up appearances whenever she was close to her foster parents (or any adult, really). Young Angela was cute, intelligent, polite, friendly, and incredibly talented with music - any hopeful parentβs dream. Her brother, however, was a different story. His behavioral issues made him undesirable for most families who wanted children with few flaws, those they considered βnormalβ. She was given the choice to separate from her brother and leave with some of the prospective parents, which she declined after little thought. He was her brother, and no power would be strong enough to separate them.
As the years passed, Angie became more desperate. Everyone knew that older children were never adopted and simply aged out of the system, onto a life with no assistance and worryingly low chances of success. She knew her chances were harmed by the younger children in the house, so she started sabotaging them. Making up accidents to make them seem guilty, riling them up so others would see their βclear problemsβ, even spreading rumors about them to make sure she and her brother would always be prime choices. The other kids knew what she was doing, of course, but by that point they were too afraid to act against her, so they started trying to get on her good side. Angie realized, in those moments where the others would grovel to her or start agreeing to her every word, that she didnβt need the approval of some stupid adult to be accepted. She was good enough to gain that validation on her own. An attitude that's followed her to this very day.
One night, as she was returning from a party, Angie happened to look up when the stars began falling. At first, sheβd shook it off as the alcohol making her see things. Sheβd always been a talented singer, and it didnβt take long for her powers to manifest as she rehearsed with her brother listening nearby. His eyes turned glassy and unfocused, and he started obeying to the most ridiculous tasks she would ask of him. When she realized the true extent of her powers, she naturally sought to take advantage of them. Controlling a small lounge owner to hire her as a part-time singer and using her powers to βpersuadeβ the clientele into giving her more than generous tips. She knows she has a long way to go with her new abilities, but sheβs more than eager to learn all she can gain from them.

- Sheβs always been deeply ashamed of her past and her home situation (most people who know always have the same βI pity youβ reaction, which she hates and thinks makes her weak), so sheβs kept it a secret from most.

Alex might be one of the kindest, most welcoming people you will ever meet. The type of person who gives tours to incoming freshmen and helps them accommodate to the life of a High Schooler. The type of guy you know you can always count on, despite a lack of a strong relationship with him. His friendly and charismatic personality made it easy for him to make friends, which made him quite popular amongst his peers. His overly empathetic and selfless nature comes with a fault, as he often puts people before himself to an unhealthy degree. Not only that, but his connection with people makes him deathly afraid of loosing said relationships. Which is why he has a hard time standing up against others, often choosing to "try and understand where they're coming from" rather than cause conflict.
He considers himself someone with a very "free soul". With wishes of escaping from his normal life to travel the world and see what places outside the country have to offer. If Angela knows little about their biological family, Alexander knows even less. He can't remember a single thing about his original family, other than they were "stupid, filthy little idiots who couldn't even bring themselves to give a shit about their children," - in Angie's words. As young children in the system, Alex always felt that for every positive step his sister took in order to get them out, he took a thousand steps backwards. He was loud, reckless, hyperactive, brash, and lousy in most of his school classes. Leading to some less-than-positive results with prospective parents. He knew there was something wrong with him, after all, everyone always told him so. And he knew he needed to stop, to behave more like a "normal" child, but he didn't know how. And he tried, he really did. But no matter what happened, no matter how much he tried to control himself and be more like the other kids, he was never good enough. He lived in constant fear of his sister leaving him (the others teased him, knowing prospective parents and even the foster family they were staying with were interested in adopting her), but she always reassured that she was never going to leave him. After all, if she left her behind, that would only make her just like their parents. Family was too important.
As they grew older and Alex's behavioural issues began diminishing as he started going to therapy, he began seeing his sister's change in demeanour. He knew full well of what she was doing to the others, and the horrible implications it had for the others, but he couldn't bring himself to speak up. Not against the person who'd given up opportunities of a lifetime to stay with him. He owed her too much to go against her actions. So he let it slide. Often seeking out and comforting the other children when he knew his sister wasn't watching to make himself feel better, but always feeling that he wasn't helping as much as he should have.
Once High School rolled around, Alexander quickly tried out for the school's football team. Having always been a fan of the sport and always wanting to find new ways of letting loose and letting go of his frustrations through exercise. Being in the team gave him friends and popularity, more than he'd ever expected. Despite the stress and boredom that came with school, he found it to be an amazing and liberating place to socialise and, more importantly, feel more like a normal kid. His high school education, while boring, went by smoothly. And before he knew it, he was faced with the terrifying realization that he was now an adult and had no idea what he wanted to do with his life. He still doesn't.

- When his sister told him about her powers, he pretended to be happy for her. But really, he doesn't like the idea of someone like Angie having the power to control people. Not more than she already does.
- He has a part-time job as a retail worker that he hates, but at least it keeps his sister from bothering him about not going to college too much.

Mara tries to see the positive in every situation she's in. While she may not be the kindest to everyone she meets, after she gets to know a person, she'll do her best to try and see the most positive details and ignore the negative. She's also very confident in the sense that she won't let anyone walk over her like a rug and is willing to do what it takes to get herself somewhere. Mara is also very organized and trustworthy as once she promises someone something, she will not break that promise. She is also a very loyal friend and will rarely show distrust to her friends and family.

early life
Amara Morgan Evans was born on the 4th of August in 1999 to a very happy couple. Her parents treated her as if she were an angel gracing the Earth and she often felt like one in their company. Although they were not the richest of families, Mara never noticed there was ever a struggle. Her parents always donned happy smiles and her childhood felt golden. As she got older, she began to notice differences from her family to others and ended up asking her parents why they never had a fridge full of food or a big house. Her parents would often leave early in the mornings and come home late and exhausted beyong belief. Although it was an unexpected question, her parents took her aside and explained to her their struggles of finance and how they were both working multiple jobs to make ends meet, but sometimes it wasn't always enough. They also explained that despite not having a lot of money, they will still happy and thankful for each other and that was all that mattered. No matter how exhausted her parents would be when they came home, they always wore bright smiles and hugged each other dearly. From that day forward, Mara decided she wanted to buy her parents a big house where they wouldn't have to work.
later life
During highschool in her sophomore year, Mara met a boy who was in her biology class named Theo. He had missed the first day and ended up asking her for the notes. After that, the two found themselves getting closer and closer as they both shared interests in crime shows as well as mysteries. They would hangout during lunch, studying for biology, and then after school, hanging out near the coffee shop. Eventually Theo asked her out on a date, in which they went to an escape room, and then two became an inseparable couple. Her love for Theo reminded her of the glowing love her parents had for each other and it made her happier than she ever though she'd be. The two stayed together all throughout highschool and eventually into college as they both wanted to stay in Wilmont. Theo wanted to become a psychologist for criminals and Mara intended on becoming a forensic autopsy technologist. Their future was perfectly intertwined and everything seemed golden... until it was not.
On January 4th, 2019, after going to the movies with Theo and her parents on a Friday night, Mara decided to drive everyone home as her parents were both exhausted and it was only fair that she drive back for them. A snowstorm had blown in unexpectantly and the roads were covered in thick snow. As they began to near their street, another car being driven by a drunk driver collided into the right side of the car, killing both Theo and her father immediately. Mara and her mother were rushed to the hospital but her mother, unfortunately, passed away on the way there. Mara miraculously survived, having only a fractured elbow, dislocated knee with cuts and bruises along her entire body.
even later life
After the accident, Mara blamed herself and was upset that she was the only one who survived. For a while, she contemplated suicide but kept backing out as her aunt told her that her parents wouldn't want that for her. She ended up dropping out of college for a while, letting herself mourn and seeing a therapist for help. Her aunt Lillian ended up taking her in, feeling pity for the young girl as her parents were all she had. After a year, Mara decided to get herself together and rerolled in school again, taking the same career path. She still holds onto Theo dearly, swearing off love and deeming it a lost cause. She can no longer drive a car, as she gets PTSD from the accident and ends up having multiple panic attacks. Instead, she takes the bus everywhere or will get into an uber. Although being in a car still makes her uneasy, she's starting to let go. For the most part, Mara is okay, however she's very adamant on keeping to herself as she's afraid she'll lose more people. She finds herself going to parties and getting drunk to forget her painful memories and pretend nothing happened. She's also terrfied to sleep as she has nightmares of Theo and so she tries her best to stay away.

Mara has the ability to reanimate corpses that are within a 30-mile radius of her location. Once they are reanimated, they will begin crawling their way out of the ground using any means to get out. This means destroying whatever confinements they're in, including giving themselves bodily harm. Once they have emerged, they will make their way to Mara's location and then await direct instructions from her. The fresher the body is, the stronger the corpses are and will be able to last longer. However, if a body that's been dead for a while is reanimated, it will only last for a short period of time, collapsing into dust when it is of no use. Whenever Mara calls them off, they will make their way back to their original location and go back into slumber. The corpses are mindless zombies that are simply a shadow of who they used to be, having no personality or ability to showcase their old selves. Mara can instruct them to do anything and they will follow her command at will.
β Skills β
As long as a dead body is within 30 miles of her, Mara can reanimate any dead thing, including animals and other miscellaneous living(dead) things. They will follow her every wish and command that she gives them until they crumble to dust, ceasing to exist. If she is in danger, corpses will automatically reanimate without her instruction, coming over to her to protect her at any cost. The corpses will have the same strength as they did in their living form, with the exception of rotting corpses, or corpses missing limbs. If Mara is moving, the corpses will follow, with new corpses coming to her aid as she reaches their distance.
β Weaknesses β
Corpses only last as long as they are fresh; the fresher the body, the longer it'll last. If a corpse is really old, it will only be able to protect Mara for a small amount of time before crumbling for good. For example, if a body has been dead for 100 years, it will only last 5 minutes in protecting her as it has decayed for the most part. Bodies that are primarily decayed will attempt to rise, but will often be unsuccessful. Any corpses that are in sealed coffins also will have trouble escaping and will probably not be able to make it out of the ground. With reanimating corpses, Mara must use a steady amount of energy as she is technically giving her energy to all these dead folks. After a reanimation, she will often feel drained and exhausted and will need a lot of rest to feel better. She also can't always control the corpses and sometimes they will seep her energy from her if she is not careful.

Lucky was an outgoing, cheerful person but all that changed a long time before the stars fell upon the world. You could blame his parents or the ultimate reason why his world is so bleak. Initially, he was adopted by a pair of warm and unconditionally loving people. Unfortunately, they died in a car accident around his 22nd birthday. He was left with a small inheritance that he chose to use to find his real parents. That turned out to be a large bust on his part.
Other than that, he tries to embody the many values taught to him by the Adrian's. His ability to give is almost God-like. He does have his screw-ups though. He prefers the dangerous road over safer ground. It's built up his bravery and his cunning, but he's almost fucked up his life on many occasions. Sometimes he's way too truthful. He's ruthless when it comes to a grudge. He's also got a rebellious streak within him.
But, he's kind and caring to everyone else. And his soul is more balanced than others. He's aware of the bad and the good in his life. And, because of that, he strives to be something different than anyone's ever seen before.
It was a cold Febuary morning when he got the call. He was halfway out the door with his skateboard in one hand and his keys in the other. He rushed to the hospital but was too late to reach his Father. If anything, he thought his mother would be alright. Then, her condition got worse after hearing the news of her husband's passing. She was gone within the night. It was then that Lucky learned the true meaning of loss. He was gone for a few months after that.
Then, his brain had a magical idea -- to find his biological parents. What he found would have saddened anyone's heart. A death certificate from an overdose and his mother in prison for life. And she told him on the day that he visited her to never come and see her again. Lucky was dead inside for a few years, until a shower of stars shot across the sky.
He then felt something...a fire beneath his dead skin. There was something strange going on after that. Everything he verbally spoke on wanting to happen did for him. And not small coincidences. Big changes, like getting a pretty nice apartment for pennies. One night, he made a spear from out of nothing at all. In his hand, longer than the javelins he used to hurl in highschool. It was then that he became a little scared of himself. He began to search for other anomalies in the city, hoping he wasn't the only one.

Faelyn has been raised to be a friendly person. She's kind to nature, loving to animals, and tolerant of people. Polite is the best word to describe how she interacts with others, at least when she feels she has too; that changes when someone crosses the lines she has drawn. Whether it be her advocacy for taking care of the planet and it's inhabitants, or her strict morals on what is right and wrong, if someone crosses her, she will not shy away from the conflict. She is the girl who steps in when she sees something wrong, though she is rarely an advocate for human matters. People have always bothered her, and she is keenly aware of their capacity for selfishness and evil, even in herself. Backstory:
Those damn stars ruined Faelyn's life. She didn't understand it, she barely even believed the stars were the cause, but something had happened to her, and it truly had ruined her life. Before that night when she watched them fall from the sky, she had been working towards her law degree. She was almost done. She almost fit in with her all lawyer family. Had it taken her longer than the average bear? Yes. Very much yes. But they were finally going to be proud of her, and she was finally going to have a career that didn't involve scummy bars, and haggard men.
It wasn't noticeable at first. She was in law school, she didn't have time for hookups or friends or anything. She was too busy turning her life around to answer the calls of those she knew back then. Back when she had felt so isolated and alone. Back when she had to put herself in dangerous situations because she didn't feel worthy of anything better. No, she was too preoccupied with her studies to have time for anything, but then she passed the semester she thought she was failing. That was cause to celebrate.
And celebrate she did. Cheap champagne followed by cheap wine; her old sources had led her to a rooftop party above a nearby apartment building. She ate the snacks, drank from the bottle, shared what was left to top off other peoples glasses. The more alcohol that goes into the system, the less one thinks about double dipping or spreading germs. She played all the drinking games, and found herself on multiple occasions in corners kissing people she couldn't remember meeting. When the first person started gagging and throwing up, everyone just assumed he'd had too much to drink, but then glass started shattering as others began to fall to their knees. Some were just bent over chairs clutching their stomachs, others were vomiting, and others still had started to foam at the mouth and seize. If she had been sober, Faelyn would have been able to identify them as those who had tried to hook up with her, but she didn't have to be sober to realize everyone on the roof seemed to be sick but her. This realization had her stumbling for the stairs, and nearly running to her own apartment for fear of falling ill as well. It had been a strange night, and though it was the first time she noticed anything weird there were plenty more to come.
The real issues came with the study group she formed over the summer. It was a group of students who either felt they were behind, or wanted to get ahead. One of the girls in it, Jamie, had been especially helpful. They just sort of clicked, and studying with her made things make sense. It wasn't long before studying in the library with the whole group turned into studying over coffee, just the two of them. When Jamie offered to spend the night, they both knew it wasn't because of the books they were reading. Waking up to find her asphyxiated body is something Faelyn will have to live with for the rest of her life. That and the increasingly tragic events that followed. You see, back in May there had been an investigation of the mass poisoning on the rooftop of the Tennison building off Avery and Third. It was a toxin the CDC had never seen before, and they had begun studying it, while police interviewed those who had not been forced to deal with the worst of it. They had never linked it to Faelyn, how could they? She hadn't known anyone at that party. But when she called 911 that fateful morning, she and unintentionally sealed her fate.
When she ducked out from between the two dilapidated wooden planks on the roof of the warehouse building several months later, only to see those damned stars falling again, she somehow felt in her soul that they were the cause of her undoing. And as they fell over the horizon so did her eyes. And she knew she had to go to where they fell, both to get out of this town, and to hopefully find a cure.
