Comments: Birb can die

Feli pointedly stared at Vis. He was making excuses, which obviously meant he was up to something. The crystal wasn't actually smelly—at least not BAD—and it wasn't like she was going to EAT it. Actually, how does one even eat a crystal?

Wait...was Vis trying to make her leave it so that he could take it for himself? The crystal was quite pretty, albeit a bit awkward in size, and she was sure that just about anyone could see that it would fetch a decent price. With this thought in mind, Feli tightened her grip on the purple crystal and glared at the taller red-head.

"I'm not leaving it. Plus, I'm probably not going to keep it for very long anyway since it looks like it would sell well."

Upon looking back at Eden, or at least where he was supposed to have been standing, Feli finally realized that the smaller red-head was no longer watching them and had instead walked away only to fall onto the ground for some reason unknown to Vis and herself. The black-haired girl blinked and stared at Eden as he picked himself back up angrily. She thought he would yell at Vis and herself for supposedly tripping him—Honestly, even if they did like pulling pranks, it wasn't always their fault—but he visibly calmed down after picking up a green stone.

Feli blinked again.

The green stone that Eden was holding was similar to her own purple crystal. Could it be that the forest had more of them?

-----------------------

Sensing its holder's thoughts, the purple egg began to worry about its current predicament. It had been relatively easy to catch the girl's attention and have her pick it up, but it seemed that convincing the girl to keep the egg would prove to be a much more difficult task.

Sell the egg?

The egg didn't know whether or not it should feel insulted. However, what it DID know was that it needed to hatch soon. If not, who knows where it might end up? The egg was honestly just about ready to smash itself against the girl's head to try to knock some sense into her, but it was pretty sure it wouldn't help very much and was more likely to cause even bigger problems.

It shook itself slightly in agitation. The first thing to do was to have the child realize that the egg was not some sellable trinket.

Comment: HERE I AM ONCE AGAIN~

If eggs could sigh ... yes, if he did have the power to do at the moment, in this ridiculous form, he would have done so. It wasn't just the fact that there wasn't a possibility with his given form, but with the equally, if not a hundred times more, ridiculous thousands long slumber that they had been subjected to, the tiny curled up bundle of ancient life found it just a tad bit challenging to retain his ... supposedly natural movements. For every passing generation, it had become harder and harder to 'see', and within the passages of time, and unfolded eras, he himself no longer remembered form, nor shape. Only recognizing energy and shadows. It was very much like the very beginning itself, a time in which he had absolutely no place at all, sadly, but he had learned while under the deep slumber, under the watchful and careful eyes of the spirits around. Emotions worked, he found. There wasn't anything to truly express it audibly, but energy, his in particular, was often stirred and spurred by the changes within.

Now, maybe if the other two could catch a hint or five. Much like a hopeful child, the remaining crystal, sat unmoving off to the side, refusing to move from his mostly hidden position unlike the other who had thrown themselves right at their 'chosen one'. Huffing, the crystal, which held the liquid like fire energy within seemed to brightly spark intensely just for a second. If one were to look over the crust-like exteriors, they would find the fires within stirring frantically, almost explosively as it observed from afar, his 'eyes' finding it all very unimpressive.

These children were a mess, and anyone with eyes could have told you that. That was including the ever-elusive spirit that kept watch over the mysterious, dangerous forest, which in his esteemed opinion, also served as a memorial ground. To allow three disrespectful brats in ... the ancients were probably rolling unrestfully deep underneath the surface. As the green oaf, though it was a 'she' last he sensed, tossed herself right at her 'chosen', Cinder didn't bother anymore with words nor emotions. Only bubbling on his own, reciting every word the goddess above had spoke to them, parted with them.

There was a reason the three were deemed worthy by the spirit, but Cinder wasn't just about to just let that fly. There was only one chance to make things right, and nobody could afford to make a mistake here and now.

Vis gritted his teeth almost audibly. His eyes were narrowed to very, very thin slits, he basically could barely see through them, but to contrary thought, it did help. Somewhat. While Eden had very visible, explosive, redhead-midget worthy temper tantrums, Vis would try to do whatever he could to hold his fort down. The gritting teeth? Prevented him from saying further stupid things. The squinty eye act? Saved him from witnessing sinful and filthy sights that might have otherwise damaged his superior eyesight.

Speaking of, while Feli stared him down with her near deadpan-greedy stare, Vis only listened halfheartedly while staring down at the purple ominous looking egg. How could the girl not see anything at all?! It wasn't like he used his stomach for thinking all the time. Squinting even harder at the egg, Vis continued to prattle on, "It looks like the embodiment of death, Feli. Who in this village would buy it," he jabbed, lightly poking the other girl. "Just leave it alone before we all get cursed to a starving death or something," Sadly, judging by the other girl's first response, it was highly unlikely that she'd be giving the stupid cursed rock anytime soon. When something bad happens, he'd just rub it in her face with a "I told you so," yeah ... that'd work.

Spinning around to try and catch Eden's eye, Vis nearly fell over as his eye skimmed over the suspicious looking thing once more. There was absolutely no way he could ignore it now, not when two very similar suspicious ones also existed in Eden and Feli's hands ... they were all doomed, there was no hope, no hero to whisk them away from the disaster no doubt brewing just upon the horizon. No ... that wasn't right. He still had a chance, didn't he? Feli and Eden both had their own in their hands, one definitely more crabby [ish] than the other, Vis himself was the only one without the suspicious gift from the tree spirits itself.

Letting the comical squint fall away to a more serious one, Vis glared at the fiery red spark just behind the trees. He could pick the thing up, claim it was much better than both Feli and Eden's suspicious rock, sell it like Feli would have suggested, and become rich enough to get out of here ... on the other hand, he was the only one without.

Feeling the brat's gaze on him once more, the rumbling of the energy inside calmed. Was he nervous? Laughable, but sadly true. What could Cinder expect from the pipsqueaks? One sought to sell, the other nearly bursting with untapped potential of wrath ... and the last one, faced with the path of a coward or an idiot. This was hardly a test, but perhaps the spirits above would be able to see just how poor the choices were. What was a century or two more? Surely, they could wait a few more, if only to carry out the last wish from the lady above properly.

Comments: Sorry for the bad post QvQ

I had nothing to write

Feli felt the purple crystal in her hands rock a bit. She was about to look down at the stone when it suddenly jumped out of her arms and bashed the underside of her chin. Stumbling back from the impact, the black-haired girl was only spared from a very painful fall to the ground by bumping into a tree. Feli soon recovered from her daze and glared at the dumb rock that had just rolled away into a bush.

The little girl walked over to the stone's location only to notice that it had rolled into another similar looking stone. Feli stooped down onto the floor to get a closer look. It looked exactly like the green stone that Eden had and the purple stone that she, herself, had. It was just orangey-red this time. There were three of the stones and three children.

Was this just a coincidence or was this fate?

Or that was what Feli would have thought if she even believed in fate. Narrowing her eyes once again, Feli picked the purple crystal up again. Vis could have the orange one.

-------------

The egg really hoped that that literally smacked some sense into the child. However, it seemed to have caused more problems as the child grew angry. Luckily, the anger quickly subsided as the child noticed that the purple egg had just rolled next to another fellow egg. She was now just on the ground staring at the two. This caused the egg to start shaking once again. Hopefully the child wouldn't get sidetracked and forget that the egg had just moved of its own accord...
