What is Acril?
Acril is mostly made up with water with there only being a few large land masses the rest is scattered with archipelagos. Acril only has a few nations who actually have power over its people, the rest is lawless land ruled by pirates. Being a merchant in these waters is hard because the threat of pirates and the creatures that roam in it.
Nations
Othad: Othad is a small group of islands made up of humans. It's a quite and peaceful place usually left alone by the pirates. It's a good place to go if you want to live in isolation.
Rescar: Rescar is the biggest nation by landmass with a large central island. There are a few other small islands around the larger island with relatively low pop. The islands are inhabited by elves whose main goal is to unite Acril under one flag.
Askana: Askana is a republic that occupies a large island. It is mostly made up dwarves but it has a small minority population of humans. Askana main goal is to trade and be peaceful to the nations around it. Their technology is unrivaled.
Oprijan: Oprijan is an archipelago with one medium sized island as the capital island. It is occupied by two races, Dark elves and Tigrans( Feline people) . The two different races get along but sometimes there are tensions among them. Oprijan is a good place for pirates to dock because the nation profits from them.
The rest of the land is occupied by pirates or warlords.

Personality: Ril is a very serious person and gets straight to the point. He doesn't have a lot of consideration for others feelings, but he is polite and any insult he usually makes is subtle. He doesn't like elves a lot, mainly because of Rescar and their recent expansions. He's not very talkative and only talks when he needs to. Ril is a very loyal person, one of his best aspects.
Backstory: Ril was born into a normal family on the largest island in Othad. His father was a merchant and he had spent most of his life learning the trade. He became independent at 17, getting his ship at 22. He's been sailing the seas ever since.
