Lore:
-This is set in ancient Japan and as such things from the more western side of history won't be commonplace here and for any who are interested the role play will be entirely set here. (Though most of the plot will be occurring more on the east and north areas.)
-All characters MUST be of their species acceptable ages, e.g. humans cannot extend their life past natural means and evidently an 80 year old will not have the same stamina as a twenty year old would. Half demons can only be up to 25 years old since that's roughly when the seal first began to weaken. (Side-note: Although Kitsune are essentially 'immortal' in means of ageing for the purposes of this Rp I will not be accepting any who were born more than 400-450 years ago, this is for a reason so I ask that you all cooperate without issue. The only exception to the age rule is demons //NOT half-demons// as they can be just about as old as they want without interfering with the plot.)
-Though it does not apply to all of each race there is friction between the Kitsune and Spirit Users, this occurring because of arguments and small battles over who's the more superior of the species throughout the years, they both have a rather mutual view towards the humans however and have so far avoided any conflict with the 'lesser' species.
-Humans have only recently learnt about the existence of Kitsune, Spirit Users and half-demons and as such the creatures are still an unknown presence to them, if a human is to suddenly go into a battle with one with no prior knowledge of their abilities don't expect them to just react normally to the powers of these beings and 'miraculously' know how to counter them with ease. The only ones that'll have a basic idea would be those who've ether encountered them in the past or someone who's been hunting them down for one reason or another.
-Spiritual energy is what allows both Kitsune and Spirit Users to use their abilities, it's a type of magic that flows through the land and is supported by nature, therefore in areas where nature is less common or suffering they will be weaker. All beings have spiritual energy, this includes humans and other living species, demons must feed on this to survive and though half-demons don't require it they do become more powerful if ever to start feeding on it.
-The demon war occurred 239 years ago and as such any records of where exactly the place the most powerful of the demons fell and what happened during are very rough and unclear, even Kitsune who may have lived through it would have very little knowledge of it considering how devastating the attacks were and the destruction that came with the great battle.
