As a part of his mutation, Kyle has a regenerative factor that can only be described as ridiculoisly overpowered, to the point that even if he was decapitated his body would easily grow again given a few minutes. Unfortunately, this doesn't negate pain at all.

Kyle is capable of emitting and manipulating fire from his body at will as long as there's anything to fuel it. He isn't fire/heat resistant though... Yup, that's where the inhuman torch nickname came from.
