Futuristic The Internet Kingdom

Haruhi Suzumiya

An Adorable Entity
The Internet. You probably can't imagine your life without it anymore.

Here's the short version of things. (Less detailed, but sums up this section and the maps section)

Since the Internet was made, 6,142 people have been literally sucked into their computers and into the vast labyrinth of servers and things that make the Internet up, which in reality appear to make up their own world, with lakes and fields and mountains all over. However, civilization has been made as it was needed, so a village was made by the original few people that were trapped in the Internet - So now new people appear there instead of in wilderness, all on their own. The royalty of the world, mainly consisting of the few people that built the village, live in a grand floating castle, separated from the commoners and living in luxury while the normal people forge normal lives for themselves. However, there are bandits that try to steal and kill their ways to the top, known as Viruses (Yes, that kind), which are hunted and (Sometimes) caught by groups of warriors called Antiviruses and imprisoned in the floating castle's prisons. Aside from that, the world of the Internet can have whatever one's mind can imagine - Any and all technology is possible (To roleplay limits, nothing that could make you a mary-sue or gary-stu). Magic is even possible, though it's rather rare. However, normal things like food, water and sleep are still needed, which one can luckily buy in the village with money obtained from either fighting monsters or working for it in the village!

Additionally, to make your life even more convenient here, a device called the WAM - An abbreviation for Web Access Mobile - Is given to everyone that appears in the Internet. It stores your belongings so bags and storage containers aren't necessary, it can create building materials from thin air (With modification), and it can send messages and call like a phone.

Now for the long version... (More detailed, requires you to read the maps section too, but most of the maps section is optional!)

The Internet is an interesting place - A place like international waters, actually. No true laws hold the Internet together - It's a place in which one is completely free to do as they please and share whatever they wish with the world. It's a place where some feel freedom and joy while others feel shackled and weak...

This is no exception for those who have become trapped in the labyrinthian network of servers that is the Internet.

Since the Internet was created, a select few people - Only about 100 people every year - Disappear while using the Internet. No one in the real world knows what could have happened to them, because no traces of their physical bodies remain to prove anything. As time went by, the Internet grew a monarchy within itself and became a kingdom. With nearly 6,000 people trapped in the Internet, some have forged 'normal' lives for themselves again in the kingdom, while others have resorted to lives of traveling or thievery, and some flat-out sabotage computer users - These people are called Viruses, as they are considered no greater than a disease.

While some are imprisoned within the kingdom's great prison, many run amok and continue doing what they do best. With an essentially limitless amount of possible damage one could do, it's difficult to track the Viruses down, but still far from impossible. Some dedicate their seemingly endless lives to ridding the kingdom of Viruses, and those people formed organizations known as Antiviruses - While some allow the Viruses to live among them.

Pretty much anything is possible here - Architecture has stayed in a rather medieval style, and the world outside the village walls looks like it's straight out of a fantasy book, but technology can be anything from a stick with a rock tied to it to a laser chainsaw. Anything is possible here... You just need money. Which, conveniently, you can get from either A.) Fighting monsters or B.) Working in town!

Who might you be? Are you a long-time member of the kingdom, or are you perhaps a newcomer, only just introduced to the eternal prison that is the Internet? Do you want to leave, or do you want to stay and carve a nice life for yourself?

Keep in mind... This world has no true rules outside the kingdom's influence, which only covers one site. Will you stay in the comfort of the village, or will you go out into the wilderness and travel the endless world?

MAPS

(Everything after the prison is optional for you to read - The prison and before is mandatory to read. Oh, also, scroll to the bottom and read the WAM section - It's really important!)

If you read the short version of the description, this is optional to read.

The kingdom's castle is floating, so as to avoid allowing anyone into it except those who belong there (Royalty, noblemen and women, prisoners in the basements). It's still accessible, however, but one would need some sort of flying vehicle to access it.

View attachment 64066

The kingdom's village is mainly residential, but a small marketing district contains shops for weapons and armor (Essential for travelers) and basic goods, like food and water, which are still needed. New Internet-goers almost always appear in the streets here, though sometimes they appear in peoples' houses or just outside the walls.

PRISON.jpg

The Prison is only open to prisoners - Some are more well-accommodated than others (More minor criminals get normal cells while major criminals get harsher conditions). However, there was a point when any crime was punishable by terrible means, so there are more major cells than minor ones. If one is sent to prison, they should never expect to leave - Only two or three people have ever left the prison, and two of them escaped - Only one was allowed to leave.

wickroot_forest_by_chi_u-d5yi54x.jpg

The forests are the most common type of wilderness on the Internet. It's typically peaceful and uninhabited, but sometimes Viruses make their homes here. All the same, they are the most hospitable, as they offer everything one could possibly need to survive - However, in the less hospitable forests, vicious creatures like rabid trolls and quicksand are serious threats, not to mention locked threads (Vines of various colors that wrap around victims and drain them of energy) and some potential unknown dangers.

L%252520Pictures%252520Infinite%252520Zenith%252520Backup%252520Folder%252520Anime%252520Screenshots%252520Children%252520who%252520chase%252520lost%252520voices%252520from%252520deep%252520below%252520-%252520CWCVFDB-00098.jpg

Plains, sometimes referred to as Forums, are places in which people thrive the easiest. They are the next most hospitable wilderness area, being preceded by Forests. This is not because they have more living threats - This actually because of how hard to navigate and understand these areas are without serious experience in the area, which will be difficult, since these areas have no natural life except grass and flowers, and no lakes are found in these areas.

1536615-bigthumbnail.jpg

Coasts are actually inhospitable places. They have plentiful water, yes, but the water is undrinkable - It's saltwater, so it will most likely kill you if you try to live off it. However, the kingdom was built on a plains-coasts hybrid land, so it's not impossible to live in.

sahara-desert.jpg

Deserts are out of the question for survival. Water is nowhere to be seen, the blistering sands will likely engulf you if you don't have proper gear, and the monsters that thrive in these areas are more than enough to scare you away from a terrible place like this.

mountains-03.jpg

If you wish to live in the valleys between the mountains, do as you please - However, the valleys are hard to live in, because they face the hazards of forests as well as the normal dangers of falling, earthquakes and often dehydration. Mountains can be lived on, but in the higher altitudes having adequate air is also a risk.

Web Access Mobile, AKA WAM

View attachment 64074

The WAM is a convenient device that one receives upon entering the Internet, and is nearly necessary for life in the Internet. It functions similarly to a phone in some ways, like how it can text and call people, but it also allows one to send invites, which let people come to your exact location if you choose to let them (And they accept the invite). One can also write memos and use the WAM as a journal, or they can write down important things to remember.

One can also teleport from site to site with the proper IP (Site names will not work), which allows one to teleport to someone's general location. One's inventory - One's carried objects and equipment - Will also be displayed here, and can be summoned and disintegrated at the tap of a button. At the top of the screen one may notice "WAM 4372" - The number is the model number one is using, which is a unique number. It's like a phone number.

System settings allow the user to change their model number (To one that isn't already being used), change their name (Again, to something unused) or even delete themselves (Cannot be done by others - Must be done by the owner). That isn't all, though - More features will come up as time goes along!

The physical device cannot be broken, but it can be disabled or limited by royalty - For example, a prisoner would not be able to send messages or teleport to different sites, but they would be able to access their inventory (To change clothes if they must). System settings would also be off limits.

RULES

Do I really need to explain things? The rules are simple - Post a paragraph or so for your characters (OOC can be one-liners if you want), use proper Spelling & Grammar, keep things nice and civilized and we should be fine.

Also, keep things PG-13, please. Thank you.

Amelia "Shadow" Noire

Good morning, torture chamber, Shadow thought and opened her eyes. She yawned and, as usual, reflexively tried to cover her mouth with her hand - However, as usual (Again), she couldn't. Oh, right. My arms... Yeah.

Shadow looked up at the ever-familiar metal bindings around her arms - A chain coil of sorts held her arms together above her head and was anchored to the ceiling. Around her waist was a thick ring of what Shadow assumed was steel, and underneath that was a coil wrapping her legs together. It was far from comfortable, though she couldn't really expect much from a prison, now, could she? This place was supposed to make her feel uncomfortable and like she did something wrong, wasn't it? It was designed that way.

But at the same time, it was wrong. She had done nothing wrong, or at least she thought so, so why was she in here in the first place?

Queenie just likes the look of me, Amelia assumed, and let herself go limp again. "No use wasting energy trying to hold myself up," Shadow sighed.

Maria Berhow

Maria opened her eyes - She was lying on a wooden floor, which was unusual. My apartment doesn't have any wooden flooring, Maria thought. Where am I? Did I get kidnapped?!

Maria sat up - The house's walls were gray and looked like they were made of stone, and they had wooden supports all over the place. It seemed almost as if she were in a medieval townhouse of some kind. Aside from her, the room seemed empty: All that was in the room was a dresser, a mirror and a bed. It seemed far too empty for a normal room. Maria struggled to her feet, but she fell to her knees again as soon as she managed to stand. Her right leg felt like nothing at all, as if it wasn't even there, and her left leg was trembling, from the looks of it. I can't stand, Maria thought. I really can't stand...

Desperately Maria pulled herself up to her feet using the bed beside her - She swallowed hard and tried to keep moving, as if she could stand if she put enough effort into trying. As soon as she let go of the bed, though, she fell to the floor face-up. "Owwwww," Maria moaned. She shut her eyes. "I can't..."

Juno

Juno noticed a few viruses hanging around in a cave nearby, and a smirk ran across her face almost instantly as she decided what she would do. Juno started to run toward the cave as fast as she could, but somehow she did so rather quietly. No one seemed to notice her.

One guy, two guys, three guys, four... Juno trailed off. Six guys. Shouldn't be that hard to deal with!

Juno rushed into the cave and as she approached the nearest virus, she disappeared and a golden hammer took her place. The golden hammer spiraled toward the virus and knocked him across the head - The virus flew out of the cave's mouth. That's one, Juno thought and continued toward the next. She hit the virus in the stomach with her hilt, then nailed it into the ground like a... Well, a nail. Juno spun around quickly, hitting three viruses attempting to sneak up on her, sending them flying out of the cave. Again Juno took the hammer's place, a dissatisfied look on her face. "You call yourselves fighters? You're no better than mongrels!"

Juno noticed a little camp the viruses had set up - It had a few bedrolls and a campfire, as well as some basic supplies like food and water. "Score! I'll be taking this... Thanks!" Juno laid down on one of the bedrolls and fell asleep in only a few moments.

(Posts for everyone!)

Simon "Gearhead" Legacy

It seemed like an eternal night for Simon, within the musky alleys of the Village, Simon was working in his maintenance workshop named "The Gearhead" Attempting with little success to repair a wealthy customer's unique fusion rifle, Simon had thoughts of giving up and supplying this particular customer with an appropriate refund...

"I've looked at the internals multiple times to see what was wrong with this thing, but there are literally no defects I can find, so why does it function so poorly for such a rare weapon?!" Simon angrily thought to himself.

But then he noticed something rather strange about the barrel, something he hadn't noticed before, maybe he was just incredibly oblivious to it, but that didn't matter right now, Simon might have spotted the problem, and he was going to fix it. Feeling the barrel thoroughly, Simon noticed that pieces of charred metal rubbed onto his worker gloves...

"A common problem with early fusion rifles, continuous firing of the unique coil rounds will deteriorate the barrel, thus warranting a replacement..." Simon thought, referring to his journal...

"No refunds then!" Simon yelled.

Immediately looking through his container of replacement weapon parts, Simon looked for an appropriately-sized fusion rifle barrel, with the only one being made of green-coloured metal, he removed the deteriorated barrel with his multi-tool, put the new one on and placed the customer's firearm in a small container, writing "Hunter's rifle" On the top of the box...

"Hopefully Hunter likes grass green..." Simon calmly thought to himself, and proceeded to the second floor of his workshop/home, went into his room, and flopped onto his bed, taking a much well-deserved rest after such an awful night...

Loud and Chaotic. That's how Priscilla would describe the floating castle when she made her grand escapes. Soldiers running around the castle to find her, servants searching through the rooms to try to stop her, the captain of the guard yelling orders left and right - the place was nothing like it had been minutes ago, before a maid had come into her quarters and found her quite absent from where she was supposed to be. "Find the Queen!" echoed through the castle as things grew much more disorganized by the second.

"Why can't they just leave me alone?" She muttered under her breath as she heard a group of guards moving towards the balcony. It was quite a good point to make, she thought. I'm the queen. I should be able to go out without some royal babysitters. She frowned and reached to grip another protruding brick. She was currently scaling a pillar outside of the castle- one of the many surrounding her home-, which was no easy feat considering they didn't exactly build the floating castle for queen to practice her wall climbing. But it was the closest thing to her room, and the guards were nowhere near it at the time, so she decided to use it as her escape route.

Once Priscilla decided that she was high enough, she turned and looked over the kingdom. What a view! The internet was huge, and she could see forests and deserts in the distance. She smiled dreamily as she admired the world. This was why she traveled all the way up a pillar- the view was spectacular. Once she had had enough of it, she looked down at the village in the world below. That was her target. Making sure she had a good hold on the bricks with her left hand, she used her right to pull out her WAM. The numbers 0184 were printed across the top of it, and she quickly tapped the inventory button and selected a picture of her broom. Her old reliable friend was soon floating in front of her, and she looked down once before hopping on it. No guards in sight yet. She let out a sigh of relief. Thank god for technology.

She flew away from the floating castle as fast as she possible could, and then let out a brief laugh of satisfaction. Victory was so sweet, especially when it meant getting at least a few hours to herself. She survived a rough landing on someone's roof, slamming down on it with a loud thud, and put her broom back in her inventory.

All right, she thought to herself, bursting with enthusiasm. Now for the real fun.

Nick walked the streets of the town closest to the castle. Usually he's in his home (or a modified cave) right now, but he felt like going out and seeing things. The great thing about being him, was that according to anyone Nick wasn't a virus. Of corse, none of the, knew he was really Shade. Sure, no one knew how Nick got around, but he had only a few friends. They were more like allies anyway. Nick wasn't here for pleasure, though. Shade had been hired. His goal was to fine and break Amelia Noire out of prison. There was a high reward, so he took the job. His client wanted her brain to make things for him. Shade didn't think that would last long, but he wasn't hired as an advisor.

-----

Anthony wouldn't stop grumbling. He was looking for Viruses in the desert. He only made it a few hours before leaving. He came up with nothing and swore he would never enter a desert again unless ordered too. His biggest frustration, however, was he still had no leads on Shade. He was clearly a Virus, but no one ever saw him on the move. Like he didn't exist sometimes. How does one find something that doesn't exist?

Maria Berhow

"No refunds then!"

The yell shocked Maria - She tried to stand again, but she couldn't. Oh, no, Maria thought. Where am I?! What is this place?! She looked around frantically, in hopes of finding a way out of the room. She couldn't open the door, she knew that much, since she couldn't even stand - And the only window in the room appeared to be too high for her to reach without standing. This is bad... How do I get out of here?

Then she could hear footsteps, footsteps that sounded like someone climbing stairs. Not good! I have to hide! Maria rolled under the bed. The door to the room opened only moments after. Someone laid down on the bed, Maria thought, because suddenly she felt the bed press down on her. She gasped as she felt her breath get forced out of her - She tried to get out from under the bed, but she couldn't, as she was being held down (Indirectly) by whoever was laying on the bed.

Hopefully whoever lives here is nice, Maria thought.

Juno

Juno woke up to find nothing had changed - She had only slept for a few minutes, probably. "I'll pack up a few things here and get on the move, I think. No one's gonna mind if I take some stuff, right?" Juno rolled up one of the bedrolls and took a lighter from the virus camp, and she was off. Juno walked out of the cave and hopped down the mountain the cave was in, reaching the valley in the middle after only a minute or so. "Left or right?" Juno asked herself. She looked to the path on the left - It led to the desert, from the looks of things, and some warm desert wind even came from its direction. The path to the right led to the forests and, if she made it all the way through the forests, to the village.

Maybe I should give it a shot, Juno thought. I could go into town, mess with some people, leave. No problem, right?

Juno decided on the pathway that led to the forests - From what she recalled, the forests were fun to travel through. None of the monsters messed with her - Or at least the smart ones didn't, she remembered that much. Trolls had (Slight) intelligence, so they would leave her alone, but things like locked threads would be a bit of a chore to deal with... And they were a serious threat to her, specifically, which she didn't like to think about.

Juno continued down the path through the forest - The beautiful setting seemed to unfold around her. "Wow," Juno looked around, her eyes glimmering with awe. "It's been too long since I've last been here..." A sparkling river ran beneath a few planks of wood meant to serve as a bridge, and the trees around her made a canopy laced with vines and leaves of beautiful colors. Locked threads, Juno thought. I can't go into the canopy unless I want to stay there forever...

Juno continued along the path. "Before long I should be near the village..." Why am I even going? Why should I want to?

Priscilla had been wandering through the town for at least 20 minutes before she actually saw another person. She didn't need to disguise herself - the towns were extremely quiet and the people sparse at night, and since she didn't make many public appearances she felt fairly comfortable in walking around the sleepy village.

As she traveled on the cracked cobblestone paths, she thought over why she had come to the town in the first place. She knew she was searching for something, but she had absolutely no idea where to start. She couldn't tell the guards of course. They would try to do everything for her, and she couldn't possibly tell them her reasons. Thinking about it, once she got back to the castle the guards would probably be interrogating her. Maybe I should come up with a fake reason for coming here...

It wasn't before long when she had seen the first other soul walking along the broken paths, bringing her out of her thoughts. He had bright blue eyes she could notice from even far away and a sort of "don't touch me" vibe coming off him. Could he help me? she thought to herself, weighing the pros and cons of going to talk to him. Of course, good reasoning wasn't always Priscilla's strong point, and before long she was walking towards the individual.

"Hey!!"

Simon "Gearhead" Legacy

Lying on his bed, arms crossed behind his head, Simon stared at the ceiling which probably consisted of bits of code, but at the same time looked very real, a resolution he had never seen before...

"Wonder what engine this Internet Realm runs on..." He comically thought to himself...

Suddenly feeling uneasy, Simon thought he could detect a presence lying within, forcefully stopping himself from breathing for a few seconds, he could definitely sense something... In an instant, Simon leaped off of his bed, went near the doorway of his room and flicked the light on, scanning the room thoroughly he couldn't see anything in plain sight that would cause a discrepancy but suddenly realized that this might be another "Fusion Rifle Repair Incident" And decided to investigate further, sliding out his dresser drawers, rummaging through his closet and still finding nothing...

"My own nervousness is probably just getting to me..." Simon thought, and chuckled to himself a bit in order to calm himself a bit...

"There's one spot I haven't checked though." He stated mentally.

Slowly moving his head to check the bottom of his bed, Simon was braced for what he was about to see... Eyes widened, shocked, surprised, terrified, none could describe what he was feeling at this very moment...

"W-who are you?..."
Simon spoke quietly and fearfully towards whom he had just witnessed...

Nick had already spotted the girl and hoped she didn't talk to him. Too late. She started walking towards him and he weighed his options. Running would look suspicious, but he could say he has trust issues and didn't want to talk to a random person this late if apprehended. He hold try to act friendly, but he didn't feel like he could pull it off. In the end he decided to just try not to get annoyed. "What?" He asked. It came out as more of a snap than he had anticipated, but too late. "Do you need directions?" This time it came out softer, but still didn't fell welcoming. Then it hit him that she looked familiar some how...

She tugged on the charms on the tips of her hair as she tried to form a response that would make sense. "Yeah, sort of."

His gaze on her was cold and he didn't exactly seem to want her talking to him, but Priscilla didn't mind all too much. She just needed him to show her around, and then she'd be fine on her own. It's not like she'd ever see the guy again, so good impressions towards each other weren't necessary. Besides, she'd just snuck out of a castle crawling with guards! If she could do that, dealing with some moody stranger couldn't be that hard.

"I'm new to this town." She said, unwavering from his annoyed vibes and looking him straight in the eye. "Do you mind showing me around? It would only take a minute."

Maria Berhow

"W-who are you?..."

"I-I'm-" Maria looked at the man. "Well... I'm Maria. What is this place? Where am I? And why can't I stand?" What if he doesn't know? "C-Can you please take me out from under here...? I hid because I was afraid you were... Well... S-Someone else."

Maria's cheeks dusted pink. This guy - Who she didn't even know the name of - Looked nice, at the very least. He didn't seem like he could be him. She wasn't even sure what had happened to her... Only moments ago, she thought, she was in her room, crying and crying... Then her computer did something. Maria Berhow... 92%... All she could recall was that from whatever happened to her. Seeing as part of what she remembered was her name, things weren't very encouraging...

"Er, what is this place? I don't know where I am... I was in my room just a few minutes ago, and now I'm here."

Simon "Gearhead" Legacy

"Is she being serious?" Simon thought, still, he felt this mysterious girl had the right to know...

But before he could explain, he decided to fulfill one of her many requests, and carefully dragged her from under his bed, he then sat her down on a nearby chair in his room.

"Hmmm... Well uh, you're in the same predicament as everyone else here..." Simon explained. "In short, you've somehow been transported physically, but at the same time digitally into what users call 'The Realm of the Internet.'", "I've yet to find a way out of this cursed place, but I'm sure there is a way out..." Beginning to lose focus, Simon went back on-topic "You've uh, spawned in my home, which is odd seeing as normally users spawn in their own quarters, I will not hurt you though, since you don't seem like a threat.", "Finally, the reason why you can't stand is because some users are unfortunately created with bugs, or disabilities, that affect the performance of users, they can vary form blindness to deafness to limbs lost entirely. Modifications usually almost always fix this problem though, if you want, I can purchase you a modification that will allow you to walk again, they are quite expensive though..."...

Pushing up his glasses, Simon continued with the explanation, looking at this mysterious girl while doing so...

"But first, I'd like to know your name and WAM number, just so I know what to refer to you by.", "My name is Simon, by the way."...

Maria Berhow

Maria listened to the man's explanation patiently. "So I'm in the Internet?" Maria looked around, her eyes wide. "It doesn't really look like I expected... And no one's discovered a way out yet?" Maria thought about her family, how she hadn't even seen them for almost a year, how she might never see them again... What would people think? Would they worry about her? Would they think that she ran away? Would they think she killed herself? Maria crossed her legs and focused all her attention on the man again.

"Finally, the reason why you can't stand is because some users are unfortunately created with bugs, or disabilities, that affect the performance of users, they can vary form blindness to deafness to limbs lost entirely. Modifications usually almost always fix this problem though, if you want, I can purchase you a modification that will allow you to walk again, they are quite expensive though..."

"But I don't have any money," Maria muttered and looked down at her lap. "I can't afford anything..."

"But first, I'd like to know your name and WAM number, just so I know what to refer to you by."

"I'm Maria - Maria Berhow. And then for my... WAM?" Maria looked curiously at the man. "Is it this?" Maria looked at the screen of the device in her hand. "It's... Six-Zero-Three-Three, I think. But what is this thing? It's like a phone... But it's not." Maria looked at the options on the screen, which were rather strange - Things like Site Teleport and Inventory were buttons on the screen. "I wonder what this does," Maria thought aloud and tapped the inventory screen. All that she saw inside it was her clothes.

It didn't take a lot of thinking to determine that choosing any of the clothes would mean taking off clothes, as everything in the inventory screen had names that described her clothes, like Diamond Ring and Black Leggings.

Wait, Maria thought. Could I give him my ring? If I gave him my ring... That might cover the costs for a modification. "Wait, take my ring," Maria blurted. She selected her ring in the inventory screen - The diamond ring that was once on her finger appeared in the palm of her hand. "Would this be worth enough to get me walking again?"

'I don't have time for this' Nick started. "I'm busy right now. Long story short, bar's that way, the Inn's that way, business district's that way, and out is that way." In order he pointed South, West, North, East. "I'm sure some nice gentleman in the bar can help you. Now if you'll excuse me..." Nick walked around her and into a dark ally. He waited to make sure she didn't follow him to continue her pestering.

The traveling was the worst part. Some people had friends, they would travel in one direction for hours, then teleport to the safety of the village in seconds, Kevin didn't have that luxury. He didn't have friends, he had business associates, and none of them wanted him to be comfortable it seemed. He was just leaving the desert, his gun stowed in his WAM, but his saber out. He was getting into the forest. Although it was less dangerous, Kevin was always wary of all that could come out of the forest. Sometimes people would just disappear, never to be seen again, and Kevin always made sure he wasn't one of those people who would disappear. It wasn't as easy as his past life, but it was his new life. The clomping of boot hitting wood is heard briefly, and barely thought of by Kevin. He had gone through this path before, it was a good place to meet people, and viruses, and trolls. 'This place isn't as nice as I thought,' Kevin thought to himself.

Simon "Gearhead" Legacy

Surprised, Simon gasped and looked at the diamond ring, despite how wonderful, expensive and beautiful it looked, it must be precious to Maria...

"I appreciate your generosity, Maria, but I don't think it would be morally right if I did accept this as payment..." He stated.

"If you do really wish to pay me back though, I'd like you to accept my offer..." Simon attempted to clear his throat covertly, but utterly failed.

"She probably can't take me seriously now!" Simon thought embarrassingly.

"I just wish for you to be my friend, mainly because I-I don't really have any in this realm, or in reality..." Simon said in an awkward tone, attempting to suppress his emotions. "And in return, I promise to teach you how the Internet works, and maybe one day, we can both help eahc other get out of here.".

Simon looked down at the floor, and asked...

"So, will you accept, or reject?"

"Well that wasn't very nice..." She muttered. Not that it mattered- he had given her the information she had wanted. She stuck her tongue out in the direction where the boy had walked off, as some strange way of defying someone who was already gone, and then quickly turned and headed South. It wasn't too long before she heard the clanking of armour and realized the guards had made their way down to the village. Muttering a curse under her breath, she quickly sprinted in the opposite direction they were coming- East.

Once Nick was sure he wasn't going to be followed he used the darkness to render him invisible. Using his Wam, he changed cloths to be Shade. He had two katanas on his back with black blades and lots of knives. He had one on each thy, upper arm, each side of his waist, and even two behind his back under the sheathed katanas. He was became visible again and decided to test a new power he was developing. He felt the darkness envelop him and when it subsided, he was on the roof of the building he was standing next to. Unfortunately, it took more energy than he expected and fell to a knee. He looked around to make sure no one was watching him. One of his greatest perks was night vision. Once he was satisfied no one was watching him he moved on.

Madious Hatter

Madious stopped another town for food and a place to rest. Once her got the key to his room, his adventure to

the market began. Plenty of weapons, fruits, food, and armor were soled. But he didn't need most of that, only nutrition.

Madious cheerfully wandered the streets buying food and having light small talk to brighten their day. Surprisingly he found

himself in a alley with a bag of food and men who circled around him and threaten to kill. "Madious Hatter, We have some unfinished

work here." A man held a club and dragged against the floor. He assumed the man was the leader of the gang of misfits. But the face the man held was all to familiar to Madious. "Ah! Harold! How has your kidnapping, murdering, and stealing doing? Have you tried to steal from Madam Kuri again?" He was very aware of his present situation. Madious knew that any sudden movement would set off a fire. "No, I haven't, but now you're gone, maybe I will. But after you're gone for good." The man gestured for all the men around him to attack. Such sudden movements Madious could tell, so he only jumped into the air and hopped from a mans head to the fence of the dead end. The men all threw their weapons at each other by accident causing a bloody murder. Madious cringed at the sound of men groaning and moaning in pain. He walked along the fence and onto a roof top. He jumped roof top to roof top holding his hat until he spotted the young queen herself. He jumped in front of her, knowing of her mischievous actions, as in escaping the castle. "Milady, don't be scared. I am a mere servant seeking a person to serve. You may know me as, The White Jackrabbit." He bowed in front of the small girl, but while lifting his head he noticed guards rushing around the town. He quickly picked the girl up and ran to the room he payed for earlier in the day. As he opened the room he set the girl down of the bed, closing the door. "I reassure you, I will not partake in any intimate actions. I only brought you here for safety." He said taking breaths due to him being out of breath.

"Uh... thanks!" Priscilla said, looking at the small inn room. It didn't bother her that much- staying in lower class housing is still better than being found and lectured by guards- but she wasn't so sure whether or not she should entirely trust this White Jackrabbit character. It wasn't that he seemed menacing- no, the man seemed to be nothing of the sort. She just wanted to make sure he didn't rat her out to the guards and have them drag her out while she rests.

She gingerly sat up on the bed and looked out the window. The town outside was still tired, and the vigor of her running around and sneaking through the town had caught up to her, so she only now realized how tired she was. She didn't want to go to bed yet though, so she thought of some way to start a conversation with her companion and brake the awkward silence that hung over them.

"So... Mr White Jackrabbit... what kind of servant are you, anyway?" She asked.

Jayce took a deep breath. His form sitting on a throne that was probably way to big, his posture seemed that of a person who was annoyed. His chin was tilted to the right, resting on his fist which had been propped up by means of his elbow. His right ankle was lifted up, his leg resting on his upper-left thigh. His left hand was outstretched across the length of the left armrest, with his head leaning back against the metal frame of the furniture he was sitting on. As the fingers belonging to his left hand tapped against the armrest, one of his servants walked up to him and bowed.

"G-good morning, sir."

Jayce dipped his head slightly, nodding to the female.
"Good morning to you, Katherine. Can I ask you for a favor? Please locate Mr. Anthony Rizzaro and ask him to return to the castle. Thank you."

"W-why of course, sir. I-i'll get to it at once!"

The servant took a couple of steps back, picking the device off of her outfit which was used to verbally communicate over long distances; some may call it a phone, but it was really just a long-distance walkie talkie. Jayce insisted that all of his guards and servants, who were important to him or vital to his safety, have one.

"E-Excuse me, Sir Rizzaro. Prince Jayce would like you to return t-to the castle to... See him." She waited for his response before she put her device back onto her hip, and then asked Jayce if he wanted anything else. In response, he thanked her and nodded. "If you could get me my pack of cigarettes and a lighter, I would really appreciate it." And with that, not only did she get him his pack, but even handed him a lit cigarette.

Jayce believed that everyone deserved to be treated equally. In the eyes of The Internet Kingdom, he was a prince, but he knew that he was merely a human being; all of which breathe the same air, walk the same land, and have the capacity to feel good or bad. Jayce might have been part of a ruling class, but he was fair. He never asked others to do for him what he couldn't do for himself, and he never abused his powers in negative ways.

Anthony heard his comunicator go off and picked it up. A woman's voice sounded though and told him the prince requested his presence. Anthony told her that he would be there as soon as he could. It was early morning so he wouldn't have to travel in the dark for very long. Admittedly he was a bit far from the castle. It might take a few days to get back, and it worried him that he might take to long before the prince became unhappy. He shook it off knowing there was nothing he could do but move and headed out.

Maria Berhow

"I appreciate your generosity, Maria, but I don't think it would be morally right if I did accept this as payment... If you do really wish to pay me back though, I'd like you to accept my offer..." The man, Simon, cleared his throat rather awkwardly - Maria perked up and her eyes widened. She was a bit shocked, naturally.

"I just wish for you to be my friend, mainly because I-I don't really have any in this realm, or in reality..." A look of concern dominated Maria's face now. No friends? Really? Even I had a few, Maria thought, But most of my friends came to me... Maybe he had trouble talking to people worse than I did? "And in return, I promise to teach you how the Internet works, and maybe one day, we can both help each other get out of here."

That works. He seems nice enough, at the least, Maria thought. Hopefully he stays that way. "So, will you accept, or reject?"

"I'll accept," Maria chimed with a smile. "We'll be alone, but we'll be alone together." That sounded incredibly lame and cheesy, but she wanted to say it anyways - She had wanted to say it anyways for a while, actually - So she said it. "What should we do first? It's dark out, so we should probably sleep, right?"

(Sorry about the late reply... I kind of fell asleep on my keyboard last night.)

Simon "Gearhead" Legacy

Glad at the response Simon got, he got lost in thought...

Immediately coming back down to Earth Simon nearly fell off of his chair "Oh! Uh, sorry about that..." He quickly told Maria, almost muttering his sentence.

"I usually fall asleep on the floor of my workshop, so you can have my room if you want for the time being." He explained to Maria.

"Erm, I also sent you a friend request on your WAM device, if you need anything, just message me." Continuing with the explanation.

"Finally, once the new day begins tomorrow, I can purchase that walking mod for you, and then proceed to teach you the basics of the Internet, like how to obtain money, how to get weapons, et cetera..."...

"God I hope this explanation isn't boring her to death..."' Simon thought...

Shade was jumping from rooftop to rooftop when he saw the guards patrolling. Then it hit him that the girl on the street was the Queen! While this was useful information, he didn't need her right now. However, the guards were from the castle. If he just followed them he wold eventually find out a good way to the castle. Then he could preform the first successful prison break! The thought actually excited him, and that rarely happens!
