The Imprint/Bond

What it means for The Fairy

• The Fairy will not know who their imprinted is until they see them for the first time. That is when they will know, as everything will change. Everything will spin for a moment, and become blurry, before focusing in in their imprinted, who will be surrounded in a golden glow. The glow fades over time, but is always faintly there for the fairy.
  

• The Fairy is then bound to please and protect their imprinted. 
  
• The Protect part means that if their bonded is in danger in anyway, they will instantly be at their side, ready to defend them.
  
• The Please part, means that if they are ordered to do something by the bonded in a certain tone, they will obey it. The command only affects them physically, and will not change their state of mind. If asked to fall in love, for example, they would physically smile and kiss and whatnot, but not actually feel in love
  

• The fairy can grant the wishes of their Binded as well, if they are asked too.
  
• As well as this  all Fairies have one other power, unique to them.

What it means for the Bonded

​

• They will always be able to see the Fairies wings, even when nobody else can. This is what starts the initial bond.
  
• Once the imprint is started, they will feel the bind, like an invisible robe around their navel. This is a way of showing the presence of the bond, but also a way to knowingly summon them. If they pull this "rope" the fairy will feel a tug and be pulled towards wherever they are.
  
• Obviously, the other main effect, is that they can command the fairy. A special tome has to be used, but once that is mastered, they have the fairy to keep them happy.
  

Usually, it is seen as an honour to be chosen, and most do not abuse this power over the fairy. Then some...
