Short History:
Born in Miami to a set of Afro-latino parents (one Dominican and one Colombian). Was a soccer star at an early age, was sent to the top soccer academy in England at 10 but was kicked out at 15 right before his bid to go pro. He had so call became woke, but he was kicked out for having tonnes of marijuana. Ended up going to the local high school where he excelled at soccer still. Decided to go to DuBois despite them not having a soccer team yet because they were the only HBCU who offered a full fledged botany degree. He plans to help pioneer an NCAA sanctioned soccer team for the school, but for now plays for their club. He is apart of BSU, and sits on the E-board as Sergeant in Arms. (he's also kind of hotepy)

Short History:
Kenneth is Saruh's younger, troubled brother. As a child he had to be sent off to Fort Worth to live with his grandmother because he was such a trouble maker. He eventually was sent back to his parents, reformed and a devout Catholic. He is extremely intelligent going through high school with a 3.8. He graduated early from high school at 17 (which is why he is young despite being an academic junior) and went to Texas A&M. He spent his first year there as a Redshirt focusing heavily on his academics, before becoming a starter as a Redshirt Freshman. He took the Aggies to a 10-3 record, but got into a lot off season trouble before eventually being kicked off the team. His parents requested that because he had to go down a division to keep playing without sitting, that he go be close to his sister so she could guide him. This benefits DuBois as a good season with a star quarterback could add to their football recruitment and eventual jolt into FBS football as an HBCU. For Kenny, he just see's it as a stepping stone to get back into the big name of football.​

Short History:
Imani was born in The Bronx and college was never in her future while in New York. Imani has a sad past but instead of dwelling on it, she decided to tell her story. She got out of New York with her brothers and son and moved in with her aunt in Atlanta. Her aunt is well off and had enough money to send Imani to Dubois so that's where Imani went. Living with her aunt changed Imani and she finally found a motherly figure. Imani has worked hard since moving since she was given a second chance of life and was going to do something with this chance.​

Diamond is a very passionate and very bold young woman. Short History
Olufemi, or Femi as she prefers to go by, came from a poor family in a run down neighborhood. She grew up knowing to always watch her back and be careful of who trusted. She could have easily survived in her neighborhood, and for the longest time that was her plan. After she graduated high school, she spent the next few years of her life doing the same routine. Smoke, party, a hook up or two, argue with her mother, etc. She was content, but after a while she woke up and decided she wanted to be more than that. Leaving some of her old habits behind, Femi managed to get into a local community college.
