Fantasy The Homecoming

It had felt like Aanissi had been traveling for months, although in all reality it had been a mere few days. Traveling as humans do is more than likely what drew the entire process out. Although, Aanissi didn’t mind how long it took her to travel she enjoyed nature to say the least. Watching how beings interacted with one another was something else that interested her as well and there was a lot of room to do so why traveling on foot.

As Aanissi neared the Glade she once called home a slight breeze began to pick up, almost as it was forcing her deeper into the heart of the Glade. The wind began thrashing around almost with a fury, forcing the trees which surrounded the Glade to dance. Almost as if the tree branches were dancing to a song only they had heard. The sun was just about set for the night, leaves brushed across the lush green grass. Animals scurried home into their beds for the night, hiding from whatever it is that they feared. Her long blonde locks swayed behind her, she stood at about five feet and six inches tall.

Sapphire blue eyes scanned the sky, stars shinned against the black velvet sky almost begging to stand out and make a statement. Aanissi’s fox like tail flicked back and forth almost out of impatience, had she come for no reason? Was he not to be here? It was his home as well after all. Making her way into the heart of the Glade, her ample hips feel in sync with every movement she made. Not making a single sound, she ran her right hand through her soft locks she moved her hair so that her fox like ears came into few. Blonde to match her hair, with soft pink inner flesh. Wearing a simple white tank top that hugged her ample curves, a pair of faded blue jeans that showed only a sliver of skin between her shirt and pants. Of course she did not wear shoes, preferring to feel the soil underneath her feet.

A smile appeared over her ample strawberry stained lips, as she found the heart of the Glade. She was home, sure it wasn’t the home she had on paper but it would always be where she made her start in this world. Where she found herself and her own powers, where she trained harder than most. Lost blood, sweat, tears and possibly even a love or two. This is what tied her to the only world she knew and it had been a long overdue homecoming. Blood stained the tree that lay in the heart of the Glade, almost as if it was fresh.

“Jaro?” She called softly into the endless trees.
