Stories tell of grand, fantastical, magical worlds. Struggle, Communication, Realism: This is the world we live in. At least that's what we always thought. But I'm here to say with 100 certainty that there lies a world forever entangled with ours, Hidden Buildings and Creatures of mysterious origins that appear straight from a story book. The world is not as it appears, humans are no longer apart of something greater, There lies a hidden world before us waiting to be discovered.

The Awakening of the Hidden World... Wednesday Night...

The world as we know it stood before us: Buildings from the city, Trees by the sidewalk, And Street Lamps that peaked through the dark. It was dark out, all the houses were pitch black, and the only light was from the enchanting stars in the sky. It was almost a perfect night, but the grey clouds would slowly slither through the sky to meet, the tears of the sky started to meet the ground, this water was to wash over the world as we know it and reveal the new world, all was about to change soon.

Two Men had strode towards the middle of the street to meet. One was wearing a simple green hoodie, While the other wore a long dark blue cloak. They both were wearing their hoods, but could never hide who they were, they could never hide what they were about to do. The time of awakening was among them. There was no escaping fate, but fear had always made humans fight or flight. This was one of those times, they both drew there weapons, Green pulled out a glowing red & blue revolvers that had huge bayonets on them, one was of ice and the other of fire; Blue had manifested Two Shields by his wrists, both had identical design, Multiple blue circles. The grand fight to start it all was about to ignite.

"We can't hide forever, Brother"

"You're a fool, What do you think will happen? So many humans will die because of you!"

"I'm giving them a chance to fight on there own, it is there time to protect themselves"

"They aren't ready, they need us to fight for them"

"I'm sorry brother, But we'll have to agree to disagree"

The oldest and most powerful conflict of the universe: Opposing Beliefs.

Green fired off some rounds at Blue, the bullets made the rain splatter into an explosion of water, Blue pulled up his shield to counter the heavy fire. To follow up Green charged aggressively at Blue, he had more head on tactics, while Blue had a more strategic style. Closing the gap Green swung right Blue mercilessly, there was no more talking to his brother, it was time to end this - Once and for All. Blue blocked the bayonet of his gun, as a quick follow up he used both shields to pin the gun and fling it away, Green jumped back.

"How did things come to this?"

A tear streamed down his face, but this was the only way to save humanity as far as he knew.

"Hehe, I know, I know, I love you brother - Just remember that"

Blue had put his shields back to back. He wiped out a string that strung itself between the shields, it became like a big yo-yo. The string unstrung itself as he threw it out at his brother. Green dodged to the side and struck the string, cutting it in half. Checkmate. It was with one final move Green had stabbed his brother through his chest.

It was... Strange, as his brother had poured blood out he was smiling, blood had dripped from his mouth. This wasn't how saving the world was suppose to be, it wasn't suppose to feel so sad - so bad. His gut dropped to the ground. Even though a battle had occurred the houses still looked vacant, no one heard, no one cared. That's how it always was, the world had a moment of silence - Always. This was the only way to explain The Hidden World, they weren't given credit, but always a moment of silence, as the world was always move forward without them.

"Now, What if I told you this was my plan all along"

"I wouldn't expect anything less, hard to be mad when your dying, it doesn't feel real? Is our lives even real?"

"Well, Tell me on the other side"

His brother burst into a blue energy, the flickering lights of energy had flew out all over the city, all to random places, it had finally begun.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

The boy was lying in his bed, thinking of better things, of a happier life. He laid alone in his bed, But was truly in his own world, one of imagination and a hidden sadness. His room was dark with only a bed, drawer, and an empty closet of nothing but darkness. This was his juvenile life. He was trying to sleep, but his own feelings had shaken him awake.

sigh.

He couldn't help but feel unsatisfied, not having accomplished anything in the day. All his thought was interrupted when a blue light had went into him. A bright blue light emerged from his eyes and mouth, he felt a warmth engulf his whole body, his veins stuck out and glowed blue as well. Then out of no where it all went to black.

He was in a cathedral, one that resembles something - like a feeling or a place he'd seen before, it felt like a part of him. There was 4 rows of seats and at the podium was a man in a blue cloak.

"It's humanities time to rise, and now some of you can, if you see buildings or creatures you have never seen before do not fret. This is just what was always in front of your eyes but you refused to see, You don't have to do anything you don't want to, but now you have the option to see the whole world, and choose what to do with your future. When you awake, you will see the impossible"

This is how our story began.

The young woman awoke on her bed with a gasp, she didn’t even remember falling asleep. She felt dazed and confused.

“.....why can’t I see anything...why is it so dark?”

She felt around her face with a lazy hand to see if something was obscuring her vision, and to her surprise there was. The girl plucked the open book from her face and slowly sat up on her bed. She closed the book in her hands and examined it with tired eyes, it was novel from one of her favorite series.

She blinked with her groggy eyes and realized that she must have fallen asleep while reading, something that she found herself doing more often. She sighed and dropped the book on the bed, wanting to laugh at herself from her own stupidity. She suddenly paused when a strange sensation came across her, it wasn’t bad, but it was....weird to say the least. It felt as if she wasn’t in her right body. The girl shrugged it off though stood up from the bed and looked towards the window. Her sky blue eyes widened with surprise when she saw how dark it was outside.

“....I wasn’t asleep for that long....was I?”

She looked around the room to see where her phone was to check the time, finding it on the floor. The girl picked it up and looked at the time.

11:43 pm

She stared at her phone in disbelief, as she knew that she was reading before the sun even set. But, she was taken out of her thoughts when she heard her stomach growl.

“....guess I was”

The girl placed her phone on the nightstand beside her bed and walked out of the bedroom and towards the kitchen area, heading to the fridge. Once she made it there and opened it, she was met with nothing but a cold blast of air, it was completely empty. She closed it and groaned loudly.

“......I forgot to go grocery shopping.....again..”

The young woman sighed yet again to herself, as she knew that she needed to go out and get something to eat if she didn’t want to go to bed hungry, she already knew what that felt like. And it wasn’t something that she wanted to go through again. She grimaced as memories from her childhood began to fill her head, her body already beginning to ache at the memories, but, she forced herself to think of other things. This was a time to let go and forget, not have a pity party.

Besides, she wasn’t living with her parents anymore, she had left them or rather escaped them right after she graduated from high school as soon as she saved up enough money from her part time job and the spare change that she had been collecting for about most of her childhood. She reminded herself that she was free and that they can’t hurt her anymore. Although she tried to keep her mindset positive when it comes to thinking about this, she always found herself weak and helpless at the memories.

The girl then realized once again, that she was getting lost in her darker thoughts. And this time she was able to force herself to think of something else, like the food she needed to go buy. She went back into her room and changed out of her gray tang top and navy blue sweatpants into a black hoodie, dark blue jeans, and white converse sneakers. Her long jet black hair almost matched her hoodie.

As soon as she was dressed, she grabbed some money and her phone and stuffed them both in the large pocket of her hoodie before exiting her apartment and locking the door behind her. The weird feeling returned once again as she walked out of the apartment complex and down the street towards a small 24 hour running shop a few blocks away, but she ignored it, thinking that it was just her hunger getting the best of her.

It was almost pitch black outside and there weren’t that many people out right now, she wasn’t really surprised but it still made her anxious. To distract herself, she began to quietly sing to herself, a hobby that always seemed to calm her down. The girl softly smiled to herself as she walked, getting lost in the song she sang.

In a random house, a person like anyone else woke up.

Abel awoke from the life-like dream, it felt like he was there, like really there. More importantly how'd he remember the dream so well? It's like a memory rather than an ever fading dream. He was so lost in thought he almost forgot about what happened just before then, his whole body was glowing, but there was no proof it really happened - No, there was, he noticed the veins by his wrists had dark marks where his veins were. Could this be a dream? No, it couldn't be. He bit into his hand. Ouch! That really hurt, not only did he feel dumb had not been in a dream, he felt pain, he really shouldn't have bit so hard.

After awhile of laying down he couldn't sleep, there was only one activity left to do...

The rain had finally let up, the night sky pierced through the clouds and the night sky was revealed. It was one of the most beautiful nights, and it was nights like these he liked to walk around the most. There was the sound of cricket and stray animals running through out the alleyways. He let out a breath of warm air, a white mist came from his mouth, it was cold out, so he quickly grabbed a hoodie. It was a red hoodie that was given to him by his brother a lifetime ago. He slipped it on which made him feel warmer already.

He walked around the lonely streets of the night life, this city was always quiet at night, a sense of peace, but a sense of sadness too. He started to tread on memory lane, this trail, he was on was a place him and his old friends use to visit to just hangout and chat. He just stared into the empty valley, a place that had infinite potential for the future, but where there was hope he had seen - Nothing, there wasn't anything at all but regret where there should be happiness for the future, but it was hard to let go.

A noise came from the darkest part of the trail, the part far in the distance. A big white mist had puffed out, once, twice, and now three times. It was in a pattern happening every few seconds, it was the sweet symphony of trouble. A creature that was way taller then him had surfaced from the shadows. It was on all fours and looked like an over-sized wolf, with fangs that hung out of its mouth like a Sabre tooth tiger, except the teeth were longer. It snarled revealing its sharp teeth stained in blood.

"What the.....fuck?"

He bolted away from the creature, going all the way down the street. When he got to the end there was no sight of it, so he took a breath of air. Suddenly, the creature was making his way to the boy and was approaching fast. Abel continued to run again, the creature tailing behind him. He just kept running until he ended up by some sort of store, he continued until he made way down the street of the empty neighborhood streets.

The world was finally awakening, the hidden world was to be revealed to the selected few.

Jyn continued to walk to the store, her black hoodie being obviously too large for her petite body. It’s not like she cared though, she honestly liked how baggy it was on her. It kept her warm against the cold of the dark night, and she didn’t like the cold. She was used to it by now but she’d grown to hate it, as it only reminded her of bad thoughts and memories. Her singing grew quieter as she approached the entrance of the shop, until it stopped all together. She took a moment to look around the part of the city that she was in before heading inside the store. Something felt....wrong, it wasn’t like the strange sensations from earlier. It felt much more....dangerous this time. She couldn’t explain it, but she was able to tell that something bad was about to happen.

She couldn’t see anything out of the ordinary, or anyone for that matter. Everything was silent, and she didn’t like it. But, without her own singing, the darkness frightened her more than she’d like to admit. So, she hesitantly stepped inside the store, feeling a bit more relieved as she was now surrounded by lights. The bad feeling never left though, in fact it only increased as she picked up groceries. Her mind was completely occupied with worry and anxiousness over the bad feeling as she paid for her items. Jyn quietly thanked the cashier before walking to exit the store. She wished that she could understand why she had this bad feeling, but all explanations turned up blank. Her thoughts continued to race and the bad feeling increased tenfold as she left the shop, she was about to make her way home when she saw a boy run past her, looking as if he’s being chased, and something about it seemed.....familiar. She wanted to ask what was wrong, but, he was gone before she knew it and she saw something else that made her freeze. There was a large wolf like creature chasing after the boy, and it was running fast
.

Without a second thought, she ran after the creature and the boy. Although she never really went out of her way to interact with strangers , this was an emergency, and she wasn’t about to let this familiar looking boy get slaughtered by this monster if she had any say in it. One thing that was always glad to do was protect the innocent, as she never had such luxury when she was a child. She didn’t want anyone else to to be like herself and be alone in a time of need. She thought about why this boy looked so familiar as she ran though, and finally, it clicked. She had known him when they were still in school. Sure, they never really talked but she still knew of him and what he looked like. What was his name again,......Alex?...Andrew?...Anthony?....Abel?...Abel! That was his name!

When she was still in school, Jyn was known was the “quiet kid” that only spoke when spoken too. She never really had any friends either. Contrary to the popular beliefs about her though, this was all because she was taught from a young age that you can’t trust anyone, so she never made an effort to talk to anyone and ignored the title she was given. Only really thinking about graduating and being able to escape her home life when in school.

Jyn was so caught up in he thoughts, that he hadn’t even noticed how fast she was running, she was bewildered by this. Her stick legs shouldn’t be able to run at these kinds of speeds, but she somehow was. She tried not to think about it too much and decided to focus more on how to get the creature to stop chasing Abel. She got distracted though as she weird sensation returned full force, she did her best to ignore it and was able to successfully when she saw something on the ground that might be able to distract the creature. While running, Jyn picked up a large empty beer bootle from the ground, not really wanting to think about where it’s been, and chucked it at the wolf creature. She was taken aback by the fact that she actually managed to hit the thing, the bottle shattering on impact, even she didn’t know where this newfound strength was coming from. Her distraction seemed to work a bit too well though, as the creature stopped going after the boy turned around to face her, giving her a good view of its long and sharp blood stained teeth. The creature looked a lot bigger when it faced her and it looked pissed. Her pale peach skin went completely white as she saw the thing snarl and prepare to charge at her. She was terrified.

Was that... Jyn? He knew her from high school. he didn't know her - know her, but he knew her name and face. She was the girl who sat alone, a mystery to the world. Regardless of who she use to be, She was trying to help save him from this Sabre Toothed Wolf. The beast let out a growl at the girl, then out of nowhere tilted its snout towards the moon and let out a howl.

Oooooooo!

There was distant howls, this was a bad sign, if they had found both of them here, they'd certainly be screwed. The thought had sent a hill down his spine and given him rough goosebumps. He scanned the area, which didn't help at all, Just by the look of the situation it didn't appear either of them looked like they were doing. That wasn't very reassuring for their safety. He had to think of a plan - and fast. They had to draw the wolf away from here before back up could arrive. An idea came to mind, there was a park nearby, a place he used to play as a kid, it wasn't a perfect plan, but maybe they could hide out there for a bit. It was better than running, he was nearly out of breath!

Meanwhile the wolf looked like it was ready to take a chunk out of Jyn. The creature had prepared for a lunge, arching its legs back. Then it leaped through the air to it's target. The situation had made him feel like a coward, but he wasn't - No, he was about to perform a heroic act. He tackled Jyn away from the attack.

"Jyn, Right? Weird way to meet again, come with me I have a plan - sort of, i mean it isn't really a plan more of a-"

Growl.

"Right- let's get going"

He grabbed Jyns hand, it was warm and soft, but also a little damp from sweat. He ran with her towards the park in full sprint. In this situation was a massive fear, but there was no avoiding the elephant in the room: He was getting a thrill from this. His whole body was pumping with adrenaline. He felt like an action hero, an adventurer, he felt.... alive. They made their way to the park, it was dull in comparison to others, it had a swing set, a playing area, and one of those tube slides. The place wasn't much, but maybe the could hide here. Abel jumped over the fence having a hard crash landing, he tripped and slid along the ground, quickly getting back up and continuing to run towards anywhere. That was it! Abel made way to the tube slide. With no site of the wolf he felt it was safe enough to hide into the slide without a problem.

Now that he was in the slide without a wolf in sight he felt very at ease. Mistakenly letting his guard down. He couldn't believe what had just happened. No one would ever believe him if he talked about it, Well except Jyn, she was there after all.

"You saw that right? or am I just seeing things because I mean, I could be crazy, I dont know"

Jyn cringed as she heard the beast let out a howl towards the moon, knowing full well what the thing was doing. Her suspicions were verified when she heard other howls in the distance, both herself and Abel needed to get out of here, now. If they didn’t find a way out then both of them will end up the creatures next mean, just the thought of that made her shake in fear. She had no clue where they could go though and she couldn’t help but stare at the Sabre Toothed Wolf as it looked about ready to slaughter her, she was frozen with fear as it leaped towards her, unable to move or even scream.

Everything seemed to slow down as the beast was about to pounce on her, it’s bloody jaws opened wide, most likely to rip out a chunk of flesh from her, and it’s front claws seemed to be reaching out to slash her. She closed her eyes tightly as she stood in place, telling herself that everything will be alright, that Abel will be able to escape when the creature killed her, she felt more at ease at that thought. Believing that this will be worth if it meant that someone else gets out alive. She had accepted what she believed to be her fate. What she wasn’t expecting though, was to be tackled out of the way, her eyes snapped open in surprise as she looked at her old classmate that had saved her. She couldn’t even utter out a single word as he spoke to her, still shocked by the fact that he had saved her. No one had ever saved her before. She heard the beast growl again, which cut Abel off but then she remembered that they needed to run.

Before she could even ask where they were going, she felt her hand being grabbed. And soon, they were sprinting towards the park. His hand felt warm and oddly gentle despite the tight grip, it was also a little damp but she just assumed that was from sweat, not that she cared much about it though. She just wanted to get somewhere safer with him. Adrenaline was pumping through her veins as they ran she she could feel her beating as if it was about to beat out of her chest. She reminded herself that she had once again narrowly evaded death, but she was unsure if she should be happy or sad about that. Her mind was processing so many things at once that she really couldn’t figure it out. When they made it to the park she could see all the items out of the corner of her eye, the swing set, the play area, and some sort of tube slide. She couldn’t help but notice how much more......depressing that this playground looked, it’s not as if she had been to many. But, usually being in a place like this was supposed to make people feel happy... right? Well, she thought about their situation and realized that it was kind of hard to find this place cheery at the moment. She soon just brushed it off and tried to focus more on surviving, this place really didn’t look as it if had much to offer when it came to places to hide, but it was kind of their only option as this point to they might as well try.

She jumped the fence right behind him, she hit the ground with unsteady legs and slightly tumbled across the ground before picking herself up as fast as she can and going back to sprinting with Abel. They eventually made it to the tube slide and hid there, slightly relieved that she didn’t see the beast nearby. She began to try to catch her breath as they hid, trying to process what had just happened. What the hell even was that thing? Was it real? Why have I never seen something like that before? Who’s going to believe what we just saw?

Jyn turned to Abel with wild eyes when she heard him speaking to her once again, feeling safe enough at the moment to finally speak. Her voice shaking a bit as she spoke, still calming down from the rush of fear and adrenaline that she had just experienced.

“Yeah I definitely saw that thing too, you’re not just seeing things......what even was that thing?”

"Uh, A Sabre Tooth Wolf? If that thing even has a name. Like, how does no one in the neighborhood hear the damn creature?" He did a hard swallow.

No one heard the damn thing, NO ONE HEARD IT?!?!?!

That very question puzzled him, what was the answer? Why could no one hear it? This was extraordinary, a sort of paranormal event possibly, not that he believed the supernatural that much, though right now it was very hard deny. The whole situation was fishy: The Monster, No one hearing the loud noise, and the scariest part - where did it go? They'd soon find out. They hid in the old, creaky tube slide, which light from the street lamps could be seen, but that wasn't all. Suddenly they saw a shadow of a familiar creature look by the slide. He bit his tongue trying not to make a peep. This feeling he had was like nothing he had experienced before, never once had death been knocking on his door. The wolf let out a low breath which sounded like a growl. It was there for them, they could tell by the way it started investigating thoroughly and sniffed around. It's murderous eyes had pierced the night looking for prey. They were the unlucky fools who stumbled on it first. At this point there was only so much they could do, if they were to live they'd have to end up fighting it, the creature just wouldn't stop pursuing them. All his life he wanted to live a normal life to be happy, but it appeared that wasn't going to happen, he didn't feel his chances were high, this creature was more than human - something greater than humanity. That was the curse of humans, they always try to make themselves relevant, but he was no fool he knew he wasn't a match, he felt less than human.

"Ah-Shit. Got a plan! When I say go, We both run towards the street and head to the gas station, we'll be safe there" He lied.

There was no reason for them both to die, it was time for him to take responsibility, he found the creature, so he would handle it. There wasn't much left for him anyway, just an ungrateful person who had friends, but still feels alone, there was only one way out. And if he was gonna go out, it was gonna be for a reason.

"Go!"

He slid down the side and out into the open field part of the park.

"Come get me you bastard!"

The creature was hot on his tail. Abel dodge rolled along the ground, when he stopped he found a stick and picked it up, opportunity was speaking. He swung the stick at the creatures face leaving a scrape on it face. The beast was even more angry now revealing Abel's grave: Sharp, Bloody teeth. The Wolf pounced, The stick went straight through it eyes, the beast's traction didn't slow as it continued, sinking its teeth into Abel's right hand. The pain was the worst he ever experienced, the whole pain shot through his arm. But the beast hadn't finished, it tore of Abel's hand. He screamed in pain and fell to the ground.
the beast wasn't finished, it went in for another bite, Abel tried jumping to the side, but he did so only with lack luster results, the creature nicked his left hand - biting his fingers off. All his energy was draining, there was no more stamina to keep on going. He leaned against the old metal fence, his own warm blood pouring from his body as he felt himself get lighter. The blood streamed all over the ground and against his leg, it was a warmth of comfort, but it held in a hidden sadness of the fact he was dying.

This is it, all my life I had goofed around making friends, living life with an open heart. One day that all changed I lost everyone who mattered to me, they moved away or died, but some - most, most forgot about him. He was alone now, no matter where, or when, or how many people were around, I carried that everywhere, Now I'm just a shell of that person, I want people to feel me there, I want to feel like I matter, but I want others to know they matter to me.

The blood leaving his body was like a weight being taken off of him. He closed his eyes for a second but when he opened them, he saw a familiar face, the guy in the blue hood who warned him of these creatures.

"Come on Kid, I didn't help you so you could die on me, you're one of the few I gave my power, and look at the mess you made. Look I know - I know how your feeling, You're a bit under the weather, but that doesn't mean to just call quits, it's not over until it's over. Heh, You always wanted to feel a connection, to form one, Well how about I give you the closest thing to that, that I can?"

Blue gave a smirk as he reached his hand out towards Abel.

Chapter 1 Ends....

Chapter 2 Begins....

“...well that name does make sense..”

Her face paled even more as she came to a sudden realization.

“.....you’re right...no one has noticed that thing...at all....”

.....are we the only ones who can see it?

........would people call us crazy if we told them what we saw?

.........are we even going to get out of this alive?

..........how much longer can we hide until it finds us?

Her own thoughts scrambled inside of her head until one stuck out above the rest.

.......wait......where is that beast?

Her thoughts were soon answered when she saw the beasts shadow from the nearby streetlight, it was looking by the slide. She quickly covered her mouth to make as little noise as possible. The beast let out a noise that sounded like a growl before, sniffing the area thoroughly, it was looking for them. Although Jyn really shouldn’t fear being this close to possible death as has knocked on her door several times before, she still was. She wasn’t afraid for herself though, as a matter of fact, she was scared for Abel. She didn’t want him to get hurt and/or killed, she could care less about what happened to her at this point. Because she knew that her parents wouldn’t miss her, hell, they might even be relieved, she had no friends, no one would miss her if she died, they probably wouldn’t even notice. Well, scratch that, her boss might notice a missing employee, but, she knew very well that she could just be replaced easily and her landlord wouldn’t bat an eye at her disappearance and would most likely just be annoyed that she didn’t pay for her rent for the month. Her room would probably be given away after a certain amount of time but no one would come looking for her. The chances of them both getting out of this unscathed were slim, she knew. Jyn just wished that there was something that she could do to get Abel to safety, then she heard him speak to her.

Her instincts told her that he was lying to her, but, her instincts always seemed to say that. For once , she decided to ignore her own judgement and trust Abel, wanting to be able to trust again. Having lost that skill a long time ago. She nodded towards him. When he said go, she ran. She was running at speeds unknown to her, but she didn’t care, believing that Abel was behind her, she continued to get away and actually got a good distance away. Until, a bad feeling from inside of her came out of no where, something wasn’t right. She turned around just in time to hear Abel scream in pain. Her heart stopped as she watched him horror. Abel was on the ground, there was blood, a lot of it, and his right hand seemed to be missing.
That wolf creature attacked him again and managed to bite the fingers off of his left hand. Before she knew it, she was running again, not away though. She was going towards them, caring for nothing else then Abel, he was dying, and it was her fault. Had she trusted her instincts and knew that he was lying, he wouldn’t be bleeding out right now. She wanted to bitterly laugh at herself for her own stupidity as she sprinted.

.......of course he was lying...why wouldn’t he be?.....why didn’t I trust myself?....why am I the one who always seems to make it out alive..........I’m so sorry Abel...

Anger began to grow inside her, filling her to her very core, anger at herself for making such a simple mistake, anger that fueled her to run faster. This anger drove away her fears and she felt a strange power wash over her. This strange power inside of her continued to grow until it suddenly burst, a slightly glowing crimson sword appeared in her hand and her blue eyes began to glow the same color. She gripped it tightly, this power felt oddly natural to her. It wasn’t something that she could explain. Jyn let out a war cry before finally reaching them and stabbing the sword in the side of the beast. She was going to save Abel, even if it was the last thing that she did, she was determined.

“Get away from him monster!”

She was too distracted to notice the fact that her skin was beginning to shift into a gray color, that her back, head, and tailbone were beginning to ache, or that the weird sensation from earlier was back and stronger than ever. She was to focused on killing this thing.

The Sabre Toothed wolf snarled at her and attempted to slash at her with its large claws, but she managed to dodge and pull the sword out of its side. She snarled back at the creature before charging at it, sword in hand and pointed towards it. It was almost comical to see such a large beast about to attack such a small girl, but that didn’t matter to her and she went to stab it once more.

Humanity is strange.... They seek reason to live even when there isn't one... And they fight for what they believe... They even make strangers mean more than they actually are.

Abel watched Jyn fight the ordinary creature that was in front of him. He thought of how he got here. There were so many friends he lost along the way to find himself, he still hasn't found himself. But right now in front of him a stranger was fighting for him, he knew this to be true, why else would she come back. Humans cared more for there own life then others, he truly believed no one can truly 100 percent care for someone else more than themselves. The two battled in front of him as Blue stood idly over him with his hand out.

"Come on, Humanity must go on, You're just a small piece to the greater puzzle. Now take my hand and do what you know you must"

People requires connection to feel alive, without it they'd go crazy. To create bonds is apart of being alive.

There hands met in the middle of the battle ground, they made a connection, a power was being granted to Abel, he was finding inner strength. The clouds gathered and it started to rain and wash away the old world. His wound had sealed shut from the energy of their body touching.

"I grant you new power, Each of your hands will be replaced anew with a creature from days of old"

Abel could feel this power burning in his hands as they started to glow, his new self was about to awaken. He screamed in agony aloud. His missing fingers were replaced by blue, translucent crystal fingers. This was opportunity shining through the crystals from the reflected lights of the street lamps, he knew without a doubt that it wasn't over, there were more connections to be made - And with his knew left hand he could.

The left hand of Amelia: The goddess of creating connections, allows one to sync with another, to touch their soul, and even to free it. This hand was made of pure crystal to represent it's power - it's ability to make people see through like glass.

He rushed up charging at the creature, His left hand in front of him, letting out a furious battle cry, that turned his face beat red. This was it, he touched the creature, a ripple was made where he touched, it looked like water rippling through the Wolf, he stuck his hand through the 'water'. While his body remained in the outside world something else was occurring, he was inside creature spiritually. All was black, but blue rings around him passed by as he felt himself flying forward closer to the creatures soul. Eventually the rings stopped, there was a glowing mist, he reached out with his left hand and absorbed the energy. Back in the real world he snapped to and stepped back, his left hand glowed with a vibrant, white energy.

The right hand of Deltera, the goddess of disassembling and reassembling energy into something new, and the gateway to the heart. This goddess was made of pure electric energy using it to rebirth energy into new energy and matter, the most common practice was using the soul.

Abel's right arm had electricity sprout from his nub that formed am energy hand. It was like instinct, he knew exactly how to use his new found powers, not all of them, but the gist of it, the rest of it was beyond mortal comprehension. He felt adrenaline rush through his body. The vibrant light from his left hand had streamed to his right hand, it all formed into a sword of a pure energy crafted from the soul of the beast. The sword glimmered across the field, it was like a beacon of hope. He grasped the weapon firmly and ran towards the beast, it was hard to control the new power, he kept letting it all flood out, the blade increased in size. He ran at the beast and swung the light blade with heavy emotional weight. The blade as meant for the head, but it was too much, as he swung he passed out, the blade connected slicing its front left leg off. Thud! It was too much, he passed out from letting the energy out like a pressure breaking from a pipe.

The beast turned away from Jyn and looked at the passed out boy - now vulnerable - easy pray. The wolf had pounced at the boy.....

The night was cold and after what he had done he just needed to walk, it's been only a few hours since he killed his brother but the thought as still in hid head like it happened moments ago, another light bulb memory added to the collection of his memories. But the world was still going, as he though this the rain started to pour again - it was time. He could sense the danger in the area, he had been at this a long time, long enough to know when a beast was attacking and trying to emerge and feast on humans of the real world. He could smell the middle plan in the air.

The middle plane - a plane between the real and hidden world where both exist, a place creatures draw in humans to feast onto them.

He also smelt a familiar smell, the blood of someone he knew, and it was close. He bolted into dangers grasp 0 a situation he was familiar with, it was the only time he felt truly alive. When he reached the destination he realized he was at the park. He witnessed the fallout of the fight, he saw a Jyn attack the creature and a few seconds later a boy forge a weapon from the creatures soul. He chopped off its leg, but as he did so he fainted. Amateurs! They were in over there head - very likely new to this. He wanted them to gain experience, but if he didn't intervene the boy would certainly be eaten. So he reached for a glowing red pistol and took aim at the beast. He fired off a round staggering the beast away from the boy. He smirked and looked at the girl.

Green revealed himself and walked into the basketball court.

"Hurry up and finish the beast, then grab the boy and follow me!"

Jyn kept attacking the beast, stabbing and slashing it over and over again with her crimson sword, not stopping, never stopping. Looking less and less human as she fought, not physically though, as her clothes could easily hide the majority of her skin that was slowly changing color, her eyes were the only real things that stood out as inhuman at the moment. But, in the sense that she looked so much more.....deadly when she fought the monster......much more.....ferocious for some reason........like she wasn't human....but something much more. She was unaware of this fact though, or maybe she was too caught up in the battle to realize that this oddly familiar power was still not understood well by her and the chances of her being able to fully wield this power now were basically in the negatives. She was still clearly inexperienced and not in the correct form to handle magic like this, continuing like this could prove to be dangerous though, and not to just herself when considering the situation. Everything in life had limitations and consequences, and Jyn had reached her limit, but the thing was that she didn't plan on stopping. Too driven by her determination and anger to even consider stopping until this thing was defeated. No one had really known this about her, but she could be extremely hard- headed at times as well as stubborn and persistent, a trait that even Jyn herself couldn't explain, not like she questioned it though. It didn't help that she was resisting her own transformation that could potentially help her by ignoring the dull aches in the specific parts of her body, as they still persisted and began to intensify. She wasn't accepting her true form, maybe it was due to a lingering fear, but it's not as if she'll have much of a choice later.

Her moves and attacks became more erratic, they were becoming faster but less accurate. Her consequences were now upon her. She was moving much more wildly now as her own powers were causing fear and pure terror to grip her heart, she tried to consume those feeling in her anger though. This proved to be an action in vain though as Jyn was being forced to remember, she could even hear them from inside her own head.

"Worthless bitch!"

"No one will ever love you!"

"Stop fucking hiding! I'll beat your ass even more if you don't come out now!"

"Shut the fuck up and stop crying!"

"It's your own fault!"

"No one is coming to save you!"

Everything to slow down around her until, her attacks, the wolf creatures moved and soon it just all stopped, she suddenly couldn't even see the wolf creature, Abel, or anything for that matter as the shadows seemed to grow around her, seemingly taking her away to somewhere else. She was surrounded in darkness, the fear was getting to her, this was all becoming too much for her. Jyn looked down at her own hands, her sword was gone, and there was blood on her hands. She froze, panic filled her, the voices never stopped and just got louder, repeating over and over in her head. She covered her ears with her bloody hands, tears were forming in her eyes. She hated being reminded of everything that made her who she was.....no...who is is......Despite everything, she's still the same person she was all those years ago.....no matter how much she wanted to change.

.....worthless.....unloved.....beaten.....broken....guilty..............no one can ever or will ever save her.........she was alone...

She cried, tears streamed down her face. There was a burning pain that was consuming her body, this kind of pain was all in her own head though, it was connected to her own memories, having nothing to do with her body trying to force her into real form. The memories returned with the pain, and it hurt...more than anything. All that she had wanted when moving in this town, was to be able to just let go, start a new life.......be happy. But, those wishes seemed more of a joke at this point, as her own mind was working against her, and it was her own fault that she had caused this. Jyn had done this to herself. It was quite ironic though, wanting to only protect those who needed saving, reminded herself she she couldn't be saved. She sobbed harder, wanting to escape this nightmare that was her own mind.

She then thought that she heard a familiar voice, or more of a scream of agony. ....Abel? . She picked her head up and looked around, still couldn't really see anything but the darkness. It was beginning to fade though. She would almost he able to see again entirely at Abel's battle cry, her eyes widened in shock as she could tell that the beast was about to take advantage of the state she was just in and attack her. But, Abel touched the creature before it could, and his hand seemed to be touching "water" as the area that he was touching seemed to ripple. She was so confused and had no clue what he was doing. But, that also may of been due to the fact that she was a bit disoriented and dizzy, unsure of what just happened to her. Looking back down at her own hands, her sword was gone but she was slightly relieved to see no blood on them, she went back to paying attention to what was happening around her. What confused her more is how Abel even got back up, he was just dying wasn't he? Her eyes widened as she took notice of his hands, his left hand seemed to be glowing with a vibrant white energy and had somehow sprout a new right arm that looked like it was made out of pure energy. She could do nothing but watch in awe as he created a sword from is hands that looked to be made out of pure energy. She continues to watch in amazement until she noticed that he seemed to be running out of steam and he collapsed after cutting off one of the legs of the wolf beast, she guessed that he was aiming for the head. She was about to run to him but the Sabre Toothed wolf beat her to it and pounced on him. Before she could summon her sword again and attack the beast again though, someone shot the beast which made it stagger away from Abel. She turned to where the bullets were coming from and saw a guy in a green hoodie on the basketball court. Still a bit out of it, she slowly nods at the guy in green. To be honest though, Jyn didn't really know how to kill this thing even though it was already plenty wounded. She couldn't even seem to summon her sword again, as if all her strength and ability to use her magic was gone was gone.

It wasn't a good idea to use any more of her newly acquainted magic, but this had to be done if she were to kill this beast.

Jyn focused her energy and mustered up enough of it for one more attack. Her energy manifested it self into her own magic as her left hand began to glow a bright red. Her body seemed to move on its own, like it already knew exactly what to do. After a moment she was facing the wolf, glaring at it with her piercing eyes as her glowing left hand was raised in high the air, in a similar fashion to school children when they had a question. The glowing red energy on her hand seemed to disperse and spread in the air around them. There was much more to this though, as her magic around them condensed itself and formed into large, long, and sharp spikes. Letting her own body guide her though this move, she felt her left hand swing down, causing the spikes to shoot out at incredible speeds towards their designated target, the beast. The crimson spikes didn't didn't pierce anything but the monster, it was insanely accurate. It was obvious that such a powerful attack had killed the creature, the spikes pierced through about about everything important. The head, the heart, probably all of its vital organs, and even if it managed to survive the attack it would have to succumb to the blood loss, this threat was taken care of. After a few moments, the spikes glowed and dissipated, returning to being just red energy before disappearing completely in the air, leaving the motionless body of the beast in a bleeding husk on the ground, puncture wounds all over its bloody body.

Feeling drained from that last attack, Jyn let out a rough cough into her hand and was about to go over to grab Abel when she took a horrified look at her hand that she had coughed into, there was blood. She then felt something.....dripping. It felt as if it was coming from her nose. Wiping a shaking hand against her mouth and nose, her fears were concluded as she pulled her hand back to reveal more blood, there was blood dribbling from her mouth and nose. This was happening due to multiple reasoning, she was still resisting her transformation, which could cause serious damage if she goes on like this for too long, her human form cannot handle so much magic, especially the amounts it took to conjure up the attack she just preformed, and even if she was in her demon form, she would most likely still be suffering from this as she was inexperienced and needed to learn her own limits before recklessly using her magic like that . She quickly did her best to wipe the majority of it away, trying to hide it. After wiping her bloody hand against her black hoodie to conceal the blood she slowly went over to Abel and lifted him up, placing him in a bridal style carry in her arms. As soon as he was situated, she went over to the guy in green as fast as she could, the pain in her back, head, and tailbone was getting harder to ignore. Right before she approached the guy, she couldn't help but look back at the creature. When she turned back, she didn't see the thing, instead she saw something much worse, or at least something that she thought was worse, turning her head back to face the guy in green almost immediately. The skin on her face looked a bit sickly now in color, but not completely gray just yet, the tips of her long raven black hair were also starting to match the crimson of her eyes. If one were to look close enough, they would be able to notice the blood in the corner of her mouth and the fact that the skin under her nose looked a bit red, as if blood was quickly smeared away. Hoping that she didn't look as good as she was feeling, Jyn spoke to the guy in the green hoodie, "....Is my friend going to be okay?....and what's going on, you see that thing too, right?....where are we even going?" She couldn't help but ask so many questions, there was so much that she didn't know that she wanted to understand.

........It is said that humans require connections with one another to feel alive, without it the'd go crazy. That creating these bonds are a part of being alive......But, do people that are not human have the same needs?.......will they go crazy without it?.......do they even deserve to be given the same treatments as humans?

They arrived to a big garage, it was a dull room, with cold cement floor and metal single creating the entire exterior. Inside was a red, beat up couch; two metal chairs, a computer desk, and a black, wore down, mustang. It looked like someone had been living there. Green had walked through the giant garage door and closed the door behind them. A gentle wind was blowing through the cracked window all around the building, it made a whistling noise. Green walked up and sat on the couch, looking right a Jyn.

"I'll cut to the chase, I know exactly what you are - well - sort of? Your a demon race of a sort, don't worry, it's a familiar smell"

Green took off his green hoodie to reveal a twisted face: It looked like a reflecting silver metal, it looked like a rose whis shard tips at the end of its petals, on the face there was one eye on the right side of his face peering out, it had a purple iris. He lifted his hands and his sweatshirt sleeves slid down his arm revealing sharp, silver claw hands.

Jyn had went over to the beat up couch as soon as she got inside the garage to gently place Abel down, as it was better than nothing and she wanted him to rest somewhere while she talked with this strange man. As soon as she was done situating him, the man took a seat on the couch as well and she heard him speaking to her, his words making her blood run cold. She was so shocked, that she just stared at him with wide eyes as her thoughts ran wild for a moment, not yet realizing that her appearance was changing and that her iris' were already blood red.

"demon?"...no..no no no....I'm a human....right? I can't be a demon......right? ...My parents were human....everyone around me my entire life has been human, I'm no different than the others around me in that sense.....he's lying....everyone lies anyways...and I'm not going to fall for them...not again....

She soon started to back away from him in disbelief.

"...no...no..no...I can't be a demon...that's not possible...I'm a human, without a doubt.....you're lying, you don't even know me.....no one does "

Jyn let out a small gasp when he took his green hoodie off, surprised by his appearance, which only made her back away from him more and feel the need to escape, only managing to utter out a small.

"...what are you?"

"I'm a sort of monster myself, no normal human is allowed, for over hundreds of years, only supernatural creatures, magical beasts, and otherworldly creatures have roamed here, but now - my brother - has awakened humans. Now there will be chaos with all these magical humans in our midst. There is no way they are ready, Now you may know this kid, but i'll do what i have to"

In the back of the room was some device hidden behind blue tarp covers, he pulled off the enormous mass that blanketed the device, it revealed a huge machine, a big circle on the bottom with a bar on the side leading up connecting to another circle device that was parallel to the device on the floor. He went to the panel in the back and started flipping switches, the machines circular mechanism started to glow.

"I never once pictured myself having to use this, but I'll tear the magic out of anybody I have to, Don't worry, It's for his best interest"

He grabbed Abel, but noticed his face, it was familiar to him, there was a relation between them that he knew very well, which only made him know what he had to do more.

Abel came to and noticed a creature with a green hood on, but he was familiar with this hoodie, he has seen it before. He got distracted when this unfamiliar creature started to drag him towards the device. He started kicking, Green turned around looked down. He went to kick Abel's face, So Abel grabbed his foot to counter. Green turned around and sat on Abel, pinning his arm down, he extended his arm out - There was nothing Abel could do, he had no hand now, this was a problem.

"You always were a fighter, but im doing this with your best interest in mind brother"

As all seemed over a blue cloaked figure appeared, invisible to everyone else.

"Oh, I don't think so brother, let's make this more interesting"

The mysterious figure snapped and a hand started to assemble itself on Abel's right arm. He grabbed green's fist and head butted him, the crimson blood had slowly crawled down his face as he stared at this mysterious figure, unphased. A grin was on his face, the last image Abel would see before blue head-butted him - knocking him unconscious.

Blue got up and dragged him onto the circular machine. The machine started to light up as energy surged, light surrounding Abel's body as the light consumed him and he disappeared from sight.

Jyn had been watching in confusion as the man in green started working the strange machine, not sure what was even happening when the mechanism started to glow. She just stood there for a moment, trying to process all of this and zoning out for a few seconds until she saw Green starting to drag Abel towards the machine. Not trusting this stranger one bit or his machines, she wanted to stop him and protect Abel no matter what.

"Hey! what are you doing?! Leave him alone!"

Disregarding the mans words about this being in Abel's, "best interest", she took a step towards them, intending to stop whatever the man in green was trying to do when all of a sudden she let out a choked cry as the pain and discomfort she was feeling before increased tenfold and instead of just affecting certain areas of her body it seemed to just wash all over every square inch of her body. It was worse than ever before and was enough to bring her to her knees. It felt like she was being pieced all over with white hot needles, it was agonizing to say the least.

Despite this being one of the most painful things she's ever experienced, which was saying a lot, she still had the willpower to try and fight whatever her body was trying to accomplish. She wasn't about to give in, the burning fire that was her determination burned brighter than the pain in her limbs. She was a fighter, that was apparent enough, as if she wasn't, there is a good chance that she wouldn't have made it this far.

By now, she was breathing heavily and trying not to scream, believing that she could just power through whatever this was and be alright, that all she had to do was wait this out. Little did she know, she was dead wrong.

Once again, the world around her started to darken like shadows, and strangely enough,it felt slightly...comforting in a way. Jyn did her best to resist this though and blink away the ever growing darkness around her, but it was no use. And she was soon trapped in the darkness.

The voices soon started up again, but this time, it wasn't ones that she was familiar with...it still felt familiar though...it was strange.

"....stop fighting it....there is no use..."

"...you cannot stop the inevitable...."

".....give up already...you're only making it harder on yourself..."

"....there is no point in all of this nonsense....."

".....you can't deny the truth forever"

"you know what you are.......Jynraine"

That last voice really struck out to her, and made her feel as if her heart had skipped a beat. But she didn't want to listen to these voices that were echoing inside her own head and did her best to block them out, turning her fear into anger. They only grew louder though, like before.

"Quit it already!"

"you cannot go on like this!"

"You're only going to destroy yourself!"

"This is pointless!"

"We will not be ignored!"

"....Jynraine....ple-"

"SHUT UP! JUST SHUT UP ALREADY!"

Jyn was beyond done with this and forced herself to focus on something else, blocking the voices out no matter how loud they grew.

....focus...focus..focus.....think about something else....something important...something that you care about.....something....or...someone....someone like....Abel....Abel!...I have to save him....I have to-

The darkness around her faded away the more she thought about saving her old classmate. She won, at least she did for now.

Not having been paying attention to what was going on outside her mind and around her, so by the time she brought herself back into reality, Abel was being dragged into the machine....she was too late.

"Abel! no!"

She cried out as she reached out for him but it was no use, as he had already dissapeared from sight as the light from the machine consumed him. Jyn was no quitter though, and pused herself up and made a dash for the machine, wanting to shut it off.
