Personality: Over the years Lyra had acquired a motherly quality, despite lacking one of her own. She long ago made a vow to bring hope and joy to the weakened and disheartened suffering against the hands of evil, just like how she treated back in her darker times. Lyra had admired William for his seemingly endless generosity and selflessness; and thus strongly inspired her way-of-thinking on doing what's best for the people in misery, no matter the consequence it would have on her health or the risks it could have on the Guild's reputation and such.


She's down to earth and cheerful most of the time; enjoying playful banter and a battle of tunes. She does get highly strung sometimes, especially during times in a bar, a rhythmical fight or when a close friend of hers gets offended by someone/thing. However, her optimistic demeanour had dampened due to the recent "downfall" of the Guild -- but even at this time she continues to keep to William's law. 










HISTORY


THE BEGINNING OF HER STORY


As soon as she was able to hear voices and sounds, she had fallen in love with its patterns of vibration, tone and rhythm. It's not exactly describable on why she adored it so much, but her parents took it as blessing since it made it easier for them to care of her as a babe. The sounds she had treasured at this stage were of nature; the whistling breeze brushing gently against leaves and branches of trees, which caused them to rustle and whisper. Animals of her home forest; chirping, honking, growling, and other beastly noises. The second set of sounds she heard were ones she's unable to ever forget, as much as she tries -- the noise of guttural moans, helpless screaming, and the crackling of fire followed after by manic laughter. Lyra was a mere babe when the horrible melody of violence deafened her ears and left them ringing until only silence remained. She can't recall exactly how long she'd been left alone, with no sound to comfort her, but she had managed to be saved by someone with such a harmonious voice. Lyra never heard the same sounds of familiarity that had been one of the first voices her ears caught, again.

EQUIPMENT


Weapons & Armor:
* Bard's travelling clothes - Simple and comfortable; equipped with a light armoured chestplate that'll make it harder to knock her breath away. 
* Silver finger claws - Accessories magically forged to enhance the effects of her musical spells when strumming her guitar or playing the flute. Usually keeps her fingertips from going bloody raw from the strings.
* Flute (Naturae Susurri - Nature's Whisper) - Always worn around her neck; her secondary musical weapon.
* Guitar (Salvation's Cry) - Her primary weapon and the instrument she uses to display her strength in more ways than one. Usually slung across her back and attached with a talon clip. Its made of one of the sturdiest and oldest of bark in the dark forest; its strings could be considered to be made of the essence of her soul, near impossible to break.
Items & Personal Belongings:
* Leather bag - Inside are stamina potions which could keep her playing for hours on end. Also used to store anything else she finds on her journey.
* Guild Sigil Badge - A constant reminder that a slither of good can be found in this chaotic world.

ABILITIES


Skills & Abilities:
* Elven Hearing - Easy to pick up low-pitch frequency of noise/sound or specifically select a sound that she needs to hear a bustling or tranquil environment.
* Tree Monkey - Able to climb a tree and hop from branch to branch.
* Twinkle Toes - Strafing and dodging comes natural, as well as dancing.
* Iron Grip -  A clutch like a lobster's pincer.
* Instrumental expertise - Most string and woodwind instruments are able to be played by with her honed skills. And with those instruments she can conduct spells too.


Spells & Magic:


Naturae Susurri (Must be heard to take affect)
Spring Step - A series of quick blows on the flute that grants mobility and reflex-speed boosts to her targets. 


Grass Whistle - A soft and gentle lullaby to send targets to sleep for a few minutes; casted when she blows one long slow note followed after a few short ones, then repeat. 


Shrill Stun - An ear-piercing note that temporarily dazes the enemy, greatly impairing their sense of hearing. Makes the inflicted lose feeling in their ears.

Salvation's Cry (*Spells that needs to be heard)
*Strings of Treachery - A musical piece that'll cause conflict against enemies or even allies. It involves rapid strumming and literally, aggressive rocking out. 


*Healing Melody - "Now be at ease, for the pain will cease." Heals only physically inflicted injuries such as gashes from swords. 


*Gentle Strum - A soothing tune that relaxes one's mind and body and revitalises their strength and stamina. Cancels out any mind spells, aggressive emotions or drunk/drug effects. Counters Strings of Treachery and Drunk Euphoria.


Sonic Boom - Soundwaves emitted from the strumming of her guitar. Size and delivery varies on how long she allows to hold a note and how fast she strums. Larger size means more power and faster delivery emits multiple soundwaves. Deafens the enemy and pushes them back.


*Drunk Euphoria - An erratic and ever-changing tempo tune that'll cause her opponents to act if they're tripping on drugs or they had too many drinks that their mind and bladder couldn't handle. Movement will be greatly impaired or very difficult to manoeuvre (uncontrollable jerking of limbs etc); they will find it difficult to communicate as well (stammering, blubbering etc). They will experience an extreme boost in confidence, followed after an over-the-top state of happiness. 


*Strength for Days - A catchy and "soft" rocking tune that enhances the strength put into a blow of an ally or herself. Usually lasts for days, as the name suggests, but it depends on how much they go all out -- so stays for the majority of the duration of a fight. 


Sound Barrier - A wall purely made out of solid and soulful sound that nullifies magical spells.


Salvation's Slam - A melee attack done with her guitar.
