Luna, a young girl of about 18 or so was wandering through the woods. She had just moved recently to a small village. This village consisted of friendly people, markets and forests. She wanted to learn more about wildlife and animals, also nature. She had lots of experience with animals and was currently going around and taking notes about all the different things she had seen that day.

Something smelled nice to Joseph as he headed off the mud road and into the woods. Quietly taking off his sneakers so as not to alert the possessor of his presence, Joseph tilted his head up and sniffed at the air taking in the delicious smell that pervaded the air.


There was food nearby.


Joseph was a boy of 18 but he was definitely odd. Something about him was different, something that set him apart from other boys of his age.


All of a sudden, Joseph dashed off through the woods towards the source of that smell. Expertly jumping over fallen logs and sprinting down slides, Joseph closed the distance until finally, he skid to a stop when he appeared at a clearing in the forest.


There, standing alone in the center of the clearing was an elk. Whether it was a male or a female mattered not to the young man as he crouched at his position and observing the unsuspecting elk's behaviour for a moment, started to approach it quietly.


CRACK. A twig broke under his heel causing his face to screw up in disappointment as he realised that his presence was now known.


With a sigh, his eyes snapped open and without wasting another moment, he poised himself and sprang up in the air. In the air, his body twisted and his form morphed and twisted as his shirt tore at its seams along with his trousers. He grew in size and fur started to sprout from his skin as boy morphed into something unexpected. His face protruded out to form a snout and his ears moved up. A tail erupted out of his lower back as he turned into a wolf.


The elk never stood a chance as the black wolf landed on it grabbing its neck between its maws and breaking it.


Joseph was different from other boys. He was a werewolf.

Luna began to climb a tree as she free tired. She say on the edge of a branch with her legs swinging. She looks around. This place was small, but the forest was huge. She lived in a small house in the peaceful side of the forest. Which was quite enjoyable


She watched as a troupe of birds flew past, she quickly took a picture with her camera and jotted down a few notes in her black notebook where she kept descriptions of animals and such.


She soon heard the sound of someone cracking. What was that?


She quickly put her notebook away and began to get her binoculars out, that were hanging from her neck. She noticed the young boy walking towards some elk, what was that all about? She still watched him, and was even more surprised when he took the form of a wolf.


She instantly jumped down from the tree branch and began to approach him, not afraid but fascinated.

Joseph was just about to reach for the elk's carcass when a thumping sound from somewhere nearby alerted him and in his wolf form, he jumped off of his kill and started to look around, wary of his surroundings until his eyes fell on a small figure approaching him from the shadows.


Who's that...?, Joseph thought.


A girl it was who had made her presence known.


Joseph started to back off slowly trying to gauge the girl's intention. She did not look afraid at all, but rather, on her face was a look of fascination.


What the hell...?, he whispered mentally.


In the blink of an eye, Joseph shifted back into his male form grabbing his tattered clothing to hide his body as he stood naked in the clearing.


That was stupid. I should've atleast taken off my trousers before changing, he thought to himself shifting uncomfortably, his eyes fixed on the girl.


"What do you want...?" he started.

Luna wanders over to him, she seemed still fascinated as she pulls out her notebook and starts to jot down some notes. She had heard stories before of humans being able to take the form of a wolf/lycan but she never once believed them, she always thought of them as fairytails or myths. She examines him and continues to jot down some notes.


Boy is able to take the form of a wolf....? So many questions remained on that one statement.


She looks at him and smiles, shaking his hand lightly. "I'm Luna, I have a big experience with animals and I study them and nature. I just moved here" She greeted.
