Fleet Construction
* = This ship can detect cloaked units
There is a 'point system' to make your first fleet.
You start with 20 points, and will earn them later. You may construct new ships at a 'construction area' of your designated empire.
FIGHTERS, BOMBERS, AND LIGHT CRAFT (1-2 points)
50x Interceptors - 1 point - Very poor hull strength and armament, but fast.
30x Light Fighter - 1 point - Effective at eliminating slower fighters and craft.
15x Heavy Fighter - 1 point - Effective at eliminating most small craft.
10x Bomber - 1 points - Effective at destroying small craft and most medium craft.
5x Corvette - 1 points - Small craft which is effective as an anti-spacecraft ship and bad at taking out larger ships.
4x Light Destroyer* - 1 points - Good at destroying smaller craft, poor at destroying larger ships, armed with light torpedoes.
CRAFT (3-8 points)
3x Heavy Destroyer* - 2 points - Good at destroying smaller craft, okay at destroying larger crafts, armed with heavy torpedoes.
3x Light Cruiser - 3 Points - Extremely good at destroying smaller craft, good at destroying slightly larger crafts.
2x Heavy Cruiser - 4 points - Extremely good at destroying smaller craft, good at destroying larger crafts.
2x Mine Layer - 4 points - Lays mines, bad at defending itself, has a VERY light AA armament.
1x Detector* - 5 points - Detects ALL cloaked units, has a light AA armament, has no defence against larger craft.
1x Carrier - 6 points - Required to launch spacecraft, heavy AA armament
1x Battlecruiser - 8 points - Has a missile armament and is very good at destroying everything except for small crafts, which it cannot eliminate very quickly.
