Recons: Dunestrider

 The Dunestrider's have gained their names from their hiding in the dunes on their home world. They are armed with a sniper rifle and standard armor. Dunestrider's have spent long periods of time in the harsh desert and have became masters of survival. They carry many things in there pack that can allow them to stay stationary and relatively safe for long periods of time. They can be used for not only recon, but also assassinations as well. The rigorous training and dangerous missions have made Dunestrider's a rare sight.


Regulars: Al-Quhr Militia Men

 Al-Quhr Militia Men look and are very under-armored and under-gunned. They make up for this by sheer numbers and ruthless tactics. Most Al-Quhr citizens grew up around war, and have learnt that mercy is rarely beneficial. Al-Quhr Militia Men fight using guerrilla tactics and really on quick thinking and surprising the enemy. Al-Quhr Militia Men require little training and are most at home in arid environments. 


Heavies: Al-Quhr Drop-ins

 Al-Quhr Drop-ins, like Dunestrider's, are in small supply. They wear high-tech armor and top-of-the-line weapons.Al-Quhr Drop-ins gained their names from literally being dropped into battle. They are dropped from aircraft into the heat of an ongoing battle. They are most comparable to commandos and have a high suitability rating. Sadly, like Dunestriders the harsh training steers many away.


Light tank : Sand Treader P-51

 Sand Treaders are a small tank that is used for recon mission. They are usually driven by a specially trained Militia Man but are rarely driven by Dunestrider's as well. They are equipped with a small and fast shooting barrel and a small machine gun.


Medium tank : T-81 Jagun

 The most commonly used tank. The Jagun has a long barrel and is used for far-away target. It has medium armor and moves relatively fast.


Heavy tank : "Shell Launcher"

 This prototype tank, nicknamed "Shell Launcher", is a tank more akin to a mortar. The least used tank, the "Shell Launcher" has a barrel that moves up and fires a large explosive. This tank is focused on heavy armor and is not meant for close-quarters combat. 


Heavy Walker : "Elephant"

 This walker is used on the field of heavy battles. It allows men to move forward into heavy fire, while hiding behind the ear's or back of the Elephant. When not needed to move forward, the Elephant can turn sideways and lay down. It has a Gatling gun mounted at the top, and the body has a compartment for storing food and ammunition. The downsides are that the Elephant has exposed legs, and if shot would be made immobile. This is the purpose of the trunk, to try and hide the legs.


Air Force:


Landing Helicopter : Wasp

 The Wasp is mostly used to drop-in Al-Quhr Drop-in soldiers. It has a single rapid fire gun at the front and is made tough to land in dangerous situations. It has a small opening in the middle for transporting soldiers.


Heavy Helicopter : Black Hornet

 The Black Hornet is more combat based then the wasp. It has multi-fire missiles on both ides and a few machine-guns under the cockpit. While it works well against infantry, it's missiles are made for air-to-air combat.


Carrier Helicopter : Artillery Carrier

 The Artillery carrier is made to carry tanks and such to combat destinations. It ha no guns and must be defended by black hornet.


Naval:


Light Naval Boat : Landing Ship

 This boat is the extent of Al-Quhr's planetary naval capabilities. As the Al-Quhr are used to arid climates, they have rarely dealt with extreme naval battles. They have rarely even used this simple landing boat.


Light Space Cruiser : Pelican Class

Capacity: 350 Men, 355,000 Kg of Equipment, Vehicles, and food.


Armaments: 1 x Missile System (On Each Side, on Top of Back), 1 x Lo-Power Plasma Laser (In Middle, At Front in Indention)


Desc: Transport Ship


Medium Space Cruiser : Eagle Class

Crew Size: 225


Capacity: N/A


Armaments: 1 x Mid-Power Plasma Laser (On Each Side Located Near the Back), 10 x Flak Cannons (On Middle Along Nose and Mid-Section)


Desc: The most extensively used ship in the Al-Quhr's Arsenal. 


Medium Launch Ship : Skirmish Class

Capacity: 12 Pods of 12 People each (On Each Side(288 in Total))


Armaments: 10 x Anti-Air Missile Turrets on Each Pod Storage Hanger (Very Left and Very Right)


Desc: Military Units (Mostly Militia Men with the Occasional Drop-In) are loaded into 'assault pods' that are launched into enemy ships. The pods have a sharp edge that is enough to make it into most ships hulls.


Large Low-Orbit Bombardment Ship : Swoop Class

Capacity: 240 x Medium Planetary Bombs, 24 x Drill Class Bombs


Armaments: 5 x Mini-Class Lo-Power Plasma Laser Turrets (On each Side of Middle)


Desc: A Bomb ship that hangs in Low Orbit around a planet. Bombs are dropped from the front and stored in the back.   


Large Battle Ship : Megalodon Class

Crew Size: 525,000 


Capacity: 240 x Pelican or 120 x Eagle, 2,125,000 Kilograms of Equipment, Vehicles, Food, and other resources, (Maximum Human Capacity: 925,755 with cramming)


Armaments: 1 x Extreme-Power Plasma Laser (The Tube at the Front), 50 x Flak Cannon (Each side Located After the Laser), Hanger Openings (In the front (Behind the Laser) on Each Side)), Storage Room (In Back), Missile Hub (At Top Middle)


Desc: This ship takes HEAPS of materials to make. It is very expensive and only 2 of them have ever been made. Out of those 2 only 1 has ever been deployed. These ships are only deployed in a time of national emergency. They are entirely self-sustaining.

Armaments: Low Missile system


Desc: This station is built around asteroids and uninhabitable planets. Living quarters are at the top (Left), Mineral storage is in the middle, and Engines are at the bottom (Right). Very few are in service at this moment.


Faction history :


 The Al-Quhr are made up of old middle eastern countries from earth. A long time ago many countries in the Arab League united to claim a planet for themselves. They picked a planet that is mostly arid but includes a few patches of lush jungle. Al-Quhr is a nation mostly made up of humans and they don't take very kindly to aliens. While Al-Quhr will take diplomacy with aliens they consider them under them and will rarely agree with them. The planet Al-Quhr is currently situated on has very little natural resources which contributes to their rather weak military force. Now that Al-Quhr has been stabilized on their new home they will look to colonize among the stars.

Pretty neat! It is accepted. Who are you going to wage war against?

 We'll, i'm thinking of invading Ademar. Even though it's almost an opposite of the desert, Al-Quhr really needs resources. So I just make a post in that thread?

yup.


But, I think it is just occupied by random civilians, no faction has claimed it yet...
 
Lowered Megalodon numbers from 3 to 2, raised number of possible people stored on the ship.


Added Elephant class heavy walker.


Should probably work on characters as well soon, don't even use the original character I started with anymore.
