Fantasy The Four Aces

TheHufflepuffRabbit

Weird Bunny Lurker
~ Let The Story Begin! ~

It was a beautiful summer morning at The Castle in Deck. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and everyone inside the castle was preparing for the first day of Midsummer Festival, a time of great celebration and joy. As tradition has it in Deck, the Midsummer Festival is the only time of the year in which The Castle is opened up to the public and the people can meet their rulers, The Aces, their bodyguards, The Kings/Queens, and their students, The Jacks in person. Along with it, though, are some unwanted dangers; for, perhaps in the crowd of civilians, there are two Jokers, preparing to make their move.......

- Benji Cross, Ace of Clubs -

If one were to look through the door of the Ace of Club's room on the first day of the Midsummer Festival at six in the morning, they would find a shocking sight. Two manservants were down for the count in their attempts to wake the seemingly sweet young man up; one with a slap mark across his face, another curled up in a ball on the floor, whimpering nonsense words under his breath. And Benji, hugging his pillow, mumbling under his breath as he slept, holding his whip loosely in his left hand. Finally, he decided that he simply couldn't sleep and got up, yawning. He looked tiredly at the servants, who jumped up and ran out of the room. They didn't want to mess with him this early.

.....Well, looks like I'm awake. Benji yawned again and stepped out of bed, preparing to put on a maid dress—only to remember that today was that day of the year. He let out a tiny sigh and got out a green dress instead, one of his more formal outfits. Then he put it on. He looked nervously in the mirror, took a deep breath, then stepped out of the room, a cheerful smile on his face. Luckily, the villagers wouldn't be here until noon, so he could get some cleaning in. "Good morning!"

And of course, Tybalt was planning to sleep through it. But his black sheep ulric wasn't.

He stared at the boy, watching as his owner tried to eat his pillow, mumbling something along the lines of 'Big cake' and 'Saving Some for Ben'. Rolling his eyes, the sheep quickly jumped on the bed, clamped onto his shirt, and pulled, causing the boy to mumble as he was slowly being dragged to the edge of the bed. The servants already had enough trouble dealing with Benjamin, so it was up to Ulric to wake up Tybalt...literally, EVERY day. With a bah reminiscent to the words 'Lazy Bastard', He let go of Tybalt's shirt and ran around him before pushing him off the bed, the boy landing with a thud. He looked down from the edge, letting out a frustrated bah at the sight of him still sleeping, trying to eat his pillow once again.

"Baaah."

Still sleeping.

"Baaaaaah."

Still Sleeping.

"BAAAAAAH!"

And with that, he jumped off and bit Tybalt in the arm. Slowly, Tybalt's eyes opened, groggily looking around the room and sitting up before noticing Ulric biting his arm. With a half-lidded expression and a smile, he yawned and rubbed at his eyes. "Morning." He said, voice as young as his appearance. Ulric let go and let out a loud Bah, causing Tybalt to blink. "Festival, huh?" He yawned, getting up slowly. He rubbed his eyes and jumped on Ulric, curling into a little ball and nestling into the Sheep's black fur before closing his eyes. "Sounds fun." He yawned, already half asleep. "Let's go to the dining hall. I'm hungry." Ulric snorted and stomped a hoof, causing Tybalt to open an eye. "I'll give you half." Ulric's eyes widened and he bah'd in agreement before quickly darting out the room and down the hall, Tybalt in tow. He smiled lazily before closing his eyes, now back to sleeping, ignoring the cries of servants jumping out of Ulric's way.

Reya Marie Fair and Leona

In the Ace of hearts room, Reya could be found. Her room was located on the ground floor for various reasons. Already ready for the day, she was now braiding Leona's mane. You are gonna look good for the people. Leona purred, her huge frame shifting as she laid down. Whatever you say Reya, I just need your promise that you wont leave my side today. Reya laughed, her eyes on the winged lions mane. I will stay by you, I am not that stupid. As she finished Reya stood, and walked over to her weapon rack. On it was her Great sword; 'LionHeart'. She strapped it upon her back, and admired it upon her in the mirror. Leona stood, lifting her 15,000 lbs of muscles, and rising to 13 feet tall. She walked to the open window, and released a Bellowing roar. It was so loud it rattled the foundations of the castle.

Sharpening his knives, Ronald watched the sun rise as he sat near the castle's entrance. He always woke up early and patrolled around the castle despite already having guards around the area. He even sent out two of his wolves, Gawain and Garrett, to set up a perimeter around the castle just in case. Sure, this sounds like over-kill for guarding one girl, but there's no such thing as 'too much' in a security detail. Besides if you're being paid 20k gold coins a month, won't you be motivated to go through such lengths?

Nothing out of the ordinary sir, barked Gawain via telepathy.

Thanks. Stay sharp, he replied.

Squirrel spotted 3 o'clock!, Garrett frantically yelled.

No, Garrett! Do not engage! Both of you, do not-, but is was already too late. Based on all the panting and yelling he heard, he can tell they're chasing the squirrel.

Then he heard a loud roar from a window on his left. Looks like his charge and her pet's awake. "Good morning Milady!", Ronald yelled from her window. "You too, bird horse!", he waved at the ace's guardian. He's never sure what kind of animal it was.

Des awoke with a loud yawn, he stretched his arms wide and smiled as the sunlight greeted him."Ahhh such a wonderful day to be alive! Hmm seems that I've stopped, oh goody let's see where we are shall we?" He said to apparently no one.

He popped his head out of the carriage and looked around him with a smile. Citizens where all in a hurry, they seemed to be preparing for something."Ahh I see, the midsummer festival!" He said with delight, he clapped his hands cheerfully then brought his head back inside the carriage.

"Well I guess I should get dressed. Yes, such a wonderful occasion calls for the most exquisite clothing!" Des said a he stripped his clothing off. If anyone where looking they would see a massive scar on the back of Des. He put his hand to the scar and closed his eyes with a smile."Ahh fond memories of a past not yet forgotten." He said before looking through his clothes some more.

Des took out a very colorful shirt then frowned," no I best play it safe, don't want anyone recognizing my fabulous, and sheek style." He said holding the shirt to his chest." Oh the burden of being such a renowned and unique artist. Well I guess I'll put something else on. Maybe change my appearance as well." He decided, then quickly found some clothing that didn't make him stand out or want to die.

He thought for a while then decided on an appearance. It wasn't really a appearance as much as a face different from his own. He'd use his shadow abilities to hide his face to add some mystery to it. After he got his appearance ready he was ready for the day. He walked outside and locked up shop."I'll be home soon, don't you move." He told the shop as he happily walked off in his new disguise."I can't wait to have some fun today!" Des said now completely covered in a brown outfit only his glowing eyes being visable.

Reya Marie Fair and Leona

Leona growled at Ron. "I am a Winged Lion, Get it right." Reya sighed as she peered out the window, her golden hair in a long braid down her back. She grinned at Ronald. "Salutations, Would you care to join me and Leona to breakfast?"She offered a hand to Ron, if he took it Reya would hoist him up into her room.

"La, la, laaaa.....cleaning is such fun....." Benji hummed, sweeping his broom across the floor. Many of the servants looked warily at him; they loved the Ace of Clubs to death, but he had a somewhat annoying habit of doing their jobs for them. Once he finished sweeping the floor, he got started with the mopping. But before he could even get started, he got knocked over by a black sheep. His head fell right into the water bucket he'd just put down.

Spitting out the water, Benji looked up at the sheep that had knocked him over.....then chuckled. Followed by a laugh.
"Ha....hehehehe.....gahahahahaha! I....I really got rammed this time!" he said once he could breathe. "Good morning, Tybalt!" he added cheerfully to his King, bowing to him. His face and hair were now dripping with water, but luckily, Benji the Silver-Haired Demon hadn't revealed himself at all. The servants continued to give him strange looks. Sometimes it was unbelievable how someone so.....well.....not regal could possibly have been chosen to be the Ace of Clubs. But, despite his naïveté and odd habit of doing servant work, he was a good and reliable Ace.

"..." Hitake was in the forest for his usual training. "... I... slowly start to hate myself..." he said as he looks at his hands which were bleeding. "...Well this should be enough for now..." he said and leaves the forest. Behind him a fallen tree. While he walks out of the forest, he wraps his hands into bandages. "I hope I can cook with these hands..." He left the forest and entered the Castle. He sighed and stretches. "I'm bored..."

@ anyone

"Yeah, that's what I said", Ronald grinned as he patted Leona's mane. "Nice braids, by the way".

"Oh, yes please", he said to Reya who then hoisted him up into her room. Although this happened occasionally, this made him feel insecure every time she did it. It's not that he's a small person, it's just that his charge is really gargantuan. If only not for the kingdom's rules, she wouldn't need a body guard to protect her since no one would dare attack a 6 foot and 10 inch tall giant. But on the bright side, Ronald won't need to worry about anyone kidnapping her. Good luck trying to carry her into a caravan.

He looked at the calendar inside her room. "Midsummer festival. I didn't know it was today".

As light illuminated across the land, the lush colours of the harvest fields, the massive plains, the rivers, the lake, slowly became alive, and vivid. From the dullness of grey, to the revival freshness of green. From the dullness of serene black, to the lively translucent blue of the sky. From the pale washout husks, to a bountiful field ripening for a harvest. And from the eternal darkness, to the cloudy clear blue sky.

Low Wired fences, the ones that is used to keep wolves, foxes, vermin and the lot out, stood in between the forest and the seemingly endless crown of yellow that it protects. A large barley farm comes into view as light illuminated it. The silent swaying reapers of the night became the friendly scarecrows, standing distanced from each other, in the fields. After the festival the harvest would commence, and the grains will be pack into all sorts of bags, for malt, for feed, for beer. The rest will be stored in the massive grain storehouses that sat besides it. A stable and a ranch close by, and farmer huts that pales in comparison to the field of golden yellow, littered properly at the edges of the field, next to the storehouses.

A waist height stone wall came int view, as the guards changed their shift. Their flags bore the emblems of the Spades. It meant simply that the family's lineage was, and nothing more. Soft yawns greeted one another, simple greetings of morning and nights as one left and the other sat at the old stool over watching the stone cove entrance.

The light eventually reached upon the yellowish painted walls of a well-to-do noble mansion sitting on a mound overseeing the fields. It wasn't as grandiose as the castle that the Aces lived in, but it was well to do enough for the noble of this land. On the second floor next to the master room a window can be seen already opened long before the light came. Curtains of white hung out of it as it swayed to the morning breeze, as though flirting with it, inviting the chilled air into the room.

A lullaby can be heard from within the window, a rocking wooden cradle creaked, due to the old joints. A motherly silhouette can be seen sitting in front of it, gently rocking the cradle with her left feet, as both of her hands brushed her dark hued blue hair. The baby in the cradle was sound asleep, where the night before it wasn't. The soft rhythmic breathing tells her that she could finally rest her feet. As she continued to hum that tune unconsciously. Her eyes opened finally to greet the growing day, a charming sapphire.

She watched to the distant, where a travelling cart came from the edges of the field. Pulling herself up from the seat, Mei passed on a final brush to her hair as she turned. Quiet placing the brush in front of the dressing table large mirror. Gave a final look to herself, and the neat and tidy room. Leaving the door ajar, so the masters or servants may come in to attend the baby, she left the second floor.

Leaving the mansion's front door steps, her eyes met with the maid of the house, as she silently nodded to her. These nods requires no speech, as now the maid would have known. Mei would have her usual morning stroll, and the maid would swiftly attend to the sleeping child. Still humming the lullaby, she walked towards the stone gate, and left on a well thread path, towards the incoming carriage in the far distance.

Des was just aimlessly walking through town happily watching as the citizens passed him by."This should be fun...hmm wonder what I should do while I'm here? Hmmm, why do I feel like I've forgotten something very important....oh no! I forgot my yo-yo!" Des yelled as he completely overlooked the fact that he was supposed to meet up with the other joker today.

He ran through the crowd of people of which were staring at him." Geez even in disguise I'm to glorious to go unnoticed! What a curse, a beautiful, wonderful curse." Des said as he continued to shove his way past the crowd. He quickly made it back to his carriage, and began searching through it for his yo-yo. His carriage was always the most colorful. It stood out no matter where he went, and yet it had a mystery to it that no one but he knew of. He pulled out his yo-yo and happily began playing with it. Then he continued on his journey around town.

Ahava rolled over, trying her best to ignore the sun. It was much too early for it to be out and she didn’t want to get out of this bed till eight. She throws the covers over her head, curling up slightly before groaning and falling out of bed. Once she was up, she was up. She tries to blow some hair out of her face. Did she really need to be up this early..wait wait! The midsummer festival!

At the thought Ahava hops up and hurries to get ready, she did not want to be late two years in a row! After a series of falls and shower spills later, she’s finally ready. She brushes her hair a little and sighs before shrugging. It is what it is.

He dress was short and pink, with a lovely kitty print. It made her smile and finally got her truly up. She runs out to face the day, and hopefully not be late, cause seriously it would be terrible if this happen two years in a row.

Ulric skidded to a stop. Blinking, he slowly turned to see the Ace of Clubs himself with a face full of mop water. His eyes widened in surprise and he started sweating. He had been here only for a year, but even he knew angering Benjamin was NOT a good Idea. While contemplating if he'd look good as a lambchop, He could only watch wearily as Benjamin laughed it off and Bowed to Tybalt. Realizing the King in question was still asleep, He bucked him off his back, Causing Tybalt to fall face-first into the ground...and then, he bucked Tybalt in the head. Tybalt opened his eyes once again, hoof prints now on his head, before slowly standing up, wobbling a bit. With a yawn, he rubbed his eyes and looked up at Benjamin, not really caring about why the ace's hair was so wet. "Mornin', Ben." He said in his usual slur. He lazily looked around, noting the strange looks the Ace was receiving, also noting the few who have him looks as well.

Tybalt was far from an Idiot. Sure, he looked like a kid and slept basically all the time, but he wasn't an Idiot. He was smarter than most people his age combined and when his power was out of the question, he mostly used his wit to win. This being said, he was highly aware of things Benjamin wasn't. And one of those things were their positions as clubs, basically the peasants who got lucky. He didnt exactly care if this was true or not, but if he was going to be a good King, he'd have to make sure to keep Benjamin from wondering. Not because he was the Ace, but because he was like the weird mother-esque father he...didn't have? "Wonder what's for breakfast." He said softly, leaning on Ulric, who cried in complaint, but otherwise didn't really do anything. "Could go for some flapjacks...whatta bout you, ben?" He said, one eye closed with the other eye trying to stay open.

Reya smiled, stepping into her combat boots. It may not match her attire, but heels were impractical. "Yeah, Me and Leona were gonna make an appearance. I mean, it is hard not to." She said motioning at her long muscular legs. She opened the door to the corridor, and stepped out. Leona followed her, her footsteps surprisingly light for a 15,000 lbs flying lion. She went ahead of them, bolting to the stables where more appropriate food awaits her.

"I see", Ronald chuckled. It would be strange to not find the Ace of hearts in the castle after all. The people would worry as her absence won't be hard to miss. He then thought about where he should place his wolves to patrol during the festival. He looked around and noticed how her room was somewhat messy. Then something on the floor caught his eye: the Ace's underwear. Geez, milady! Clean your room a bit!, is what he would've yelled at her if she wasn't the Ace. As Reya opened the door and was not looking at him, he picked up the underwear, placed it inside her drawer, and closed it in a swift and quiet manner.

Ronald stepped outside her room and found the king and ace of clubs, the ace with his head soaked with water. "Goodmorning, milords!", he greeted both of them. "Found a new way to mop the floor?", he jokingly commented to Benji.

Benji bowed to his King again as he spoke. Ah, the quirks inherited from being a scullery maid's son. "I'm considering eating some omelets, myself. The chefs here do excellently with those." He straightened up, maintaining a cheerful smile on his face. "My apologies for running into you, Ulric. I ought to be more careful next time." Soon enough, Ronald, the King of Hearts, walked out to see Benji still drenched in water. And naturally, he had to make a joke of it. Benji did a little chuckle, scratching the back of his head. "Eheheheh.....not quite. I simply tripped and fell, is all. Besides, I do not think that mopping the floor with your hair is sanitary."

Ulric snorted at Benjamin's apology, but otherwise accepted it. Tybalt nodded, half from nearly falling asleep, and half from agreeing with Benjamin. The omelets here were pretty good, but flapjacks were always his favorite. Especially with Maple Syrup. "That's...cool..." His eyes slowly began to close, yet before they could, a loud bah from Ulric and Tybalt falling to the floor woke him up a bit. Rather than sitting up, he looked up at the three while laying on the floor, giving them lazy wave. "Hey." He slurred, eyes slowly closing. Light snores soon came out as Tybalt successfully fell asleep on the hallway floors.

Ulric, meanwhile, Was hiding behind Benjamin, giving the three a fearful look. He and Tybalt really didnt know these guys that well, so the possibility of the giant feeding him to her pet lion-bird while her Jack watched was very VERY high. He looked at Tybalt, hoping he would do something about this, yet only jumped and shook even more as he saw the boy still clad in his pyjamas unconscious on the floor.

The Ace of Spades

It was a beautiful day, suitable for the first day of the Midsummer Festival. Naturally, everyone was already milling about despite it being early in the morning. With such excitement in the air, no one really seemed to be able to sit still. At least, this was true for a majority of the people in the castle.

Although it was still morning, a maid stood in front of the door of the Ace of Spade's room, worried that the Ace might perhaps be sleeping in that day. Usually, the Ace of Spades was an early riser, even if he had happened to go to bed late the previous night. As he didn't really seem to enjoy people intruding upon his personal space, the servants of the castle typically avoided going to wake him up in order to respect his wishes. Besides, there was no need to go to wake someone up if they were already long awake. However, today, Arcana hadn't emerged from his room or even given anyone a notice that he would be late. For someone who was known for being responsible despite appearances, even just sleeping in was quite strange, especially if it was an important day like today.

Finally steeling her nerves to find out what was going on, the maid rapped on the door a few times before drawing a deep breath and opening the door. What surprised the maid was that the door stopped short about midway. It had just bumped into something. Peering down to see what it was, the poor maid let out a shrill scream that was probably heard by nearly everyone in the entire castle.

On the floor of the room right in front of the door was the body of the very Ace of Spades that she had been looking for. However, what had frightened her so greatly was not the fact that he was lying down in the floor, but rather that he was covered in blood...and a lot of it. The maid slipped herself into the room and frantically began to look around the room. Nothing looked out of place, so what had happened? Had someone somehow managed to sneak into his room during the night? The maid paled. Was it...the infamous Jokers that everyone had been speaking of?

Just as the maid was beginning to feel sick to her stomach, the person on the floor raised his hand slowly and rubbed his eyes sleepily. At this, the maid's mind went completely blank. It took a while for her mind to finally recover, but once it did, she moved to inspect the Ace more closely. By this time, Arcana had propped himself up into a sitting position and was staring at the maid curiously. Dripping off of his chin was some of the supposed blood that the maid had seen om the floor, but on closer inspection it was...ink?

Realizing exactly why the maid must have been panicing, Arcana wiped the ink off of his chin and looked around the ink that was spilled on the floor and all over his clothing.
"I was practicing my calligraphy and ended up staying up the whole night. While I was getting up from my chair about an hour ago, I ended up blacking out and spilling the red ink. That is all."

With his explanation recieved, the maid shakily nodded her head and made her way out of the room. After watching the maid leave, Arcana looked back down at the spilt ink. Now...how was he supposed to clean this up?

Benji let out a small chuckle at the sight of Tybalt. His King could be so lazy at times. But he was still really intelligent and good at keeping Benji from getting murdered. He knew he had made the right decision when he met Tybalt one year previously. Ulric moved to hide behind them; Benji petted the sheep to calm his nerves, a serene expression on his pale face as he did so. So. Fluffy. His eyes turned into a couple of stars; he continued to pet Ulric, the two stars soon turning into two separate galaxies.

Des eventually found himself sitting down at a shop drinking coffee."Ahh nothing like a cup of Joe to start the morning. Hmm I should probably send rogue out to see what the areas like. Maybe cause some trouble, hehehe how delightful that idea is." Des said to himself as he sipped his coffee.

He then took out a joker card, one of the ones you'd have in a normal deck of playing cards of course. He simply dropped it onto his shadow, and it seemed to meld into the ground. After the card disappeared Des shadow seemed to grow another torso, and head out of its shoulder."How may I be of service master?" The dark and raspy voice asked, it sounded like the type of voice a rocker might have.

Des smiled and spoke in a low tone."Oh you know the same old stuff, check the area. See what fun we can have, cause a little mayhem." Des finished a sinister smile spreading across his hidden face. Rogue nodded from his shadow,
yes I understand master, this is gonna be fun." Des waved his hand at Rogue, giving him permission to go ahead.

Rogue split off from Des shadow and traveled through the area. He went unnoticed moving as only shadows do. He passed a few guards, and considered killing them but decided against it. Then he made his way towards the castle, where all the Aces, and they're guards where.

Adeline Keir Sunlight seeped through the thin, maroon curtains that guarded Adeline Keir's room from the harsh morning sunrise; of course beaming perfectly into her bright blue eyes. She spit pieces of her thin, wavy hair out of her mouth as she sat up in bed. The Midsummer Festival... The Jack of Hearts sighed heavily, sluggishly swinging her legs around to the foot of her bed and sliding down onto the floor. She never had to get up early when she lived back at her parents' house, but she was expected up whenever the Ace was. In this case, it was much earlier than she would have wanted. However, an early morning is an early morning. Deal with it, she must. As she roamed around her room and piled on ornate pieces of clothing (that she was not used to wearing), Orpheus stirred from his spot on the rug. "Good morning slugabed. Thanks for waking me up on time.", she said sourly to him, braiding her hair in a crown around her head as she also pulled her large boots onto her feet. A low rumble came from the griffin's chest as he stretched and rolled around on the ground, humming, "Keep complaining little one, maybe you'll get somewhere." Adeline hissed between her teeth, unlocking the door to her room and holding it open for Orpheus as she finished pinning a few stray hairs back onto her head.

Walking briskly down the hallway with Orpheus at her side, she made her way towards the Ace's quarters. Her boots sent soft footsteps echoing further down the hallway, Orpheus' claws scraping a bit more noisily as he strode beside her. It wasn't long before the Jack reached the Ace's quarters, seeing several people congregated outside of it. Adeline waved her griffin ahead, assuming Leona, the Ace's companion, had already head to the stables. She strode up to the Ace as well as her King, nodding to the group of Clubs that had also appeared. "Good morning, my Ace.", she hummed politely, noting the fact that other people of nobility were nearby. As the Jack, and considering her relationship with Reya, she normally would address her...well..less formally. However, especially on the day of the festival, her attitude and manners would be put to the test. To be honest, that wouldn't last long into the day.

Carmen Springs

Carmen had been sunbathing in one of the castle windows since early morning in her cat form. Several people had seen her, but they really didn't pay much attention. That was a common occurance after all. After a while and commotion started happening she she got up with a yawn and a stretch. She decided to head towards the commotion, dash in, and suddenly transform back to her normal neko form. It'd be perfect! Only problem was lack of clothes. Oh well. She moved through the castle and quickly found them, something of a smile appearing on her lips. She quickly dashed towards the small crowd and transformed into her neko form followed by a loud "
BOO!". Which was immediately followed by a sound of confusion and shock as she lost her balance and toppled over directly onto Tybalt, landing in a rather..lewd..posistion. And by that, his face was currently being squished inbetween her boobs.

Brushing onto the edges of the barley fields is an experience, though repeated, has a effect that just some how brings an excitement to Mei's mind. Raising only her right hand to as a gesture to greet the man on the passing carriage, she lowered it once more onto the edge of the barley fields. She could feel the man's eyes remained for quite some time on her, just as expected from anyone. A quiet beauty like her isn't someone you can see everyday in every city, even least around the edge of the village.

Walking around the farm, from the edge of the wired fences from one end to another, she greeted the workers under her, the farmers, the serfs, and the guards. And when she was done with her usual greetings, she would go up to the tree planted on a mound in the middle of the barley fields. Resting her back onto the trunk of the tree, and bringing her legs together and folded. She gazed onto the coming bright sky.

There was a rustle in the barley stalks, as though something was there, yet there wasn't.

"When will I see my husband again?" She spoke softly into the air.

"When the house of cards lay crumbled and in ruin."

A soft smile rose at the end of her lips. "Its been a week, have you prepared a banquet for our new fawns ?"

"They're well fattened for slaughter."

"Then I believe, it is time to send them to the butcher." She continued, before taking miniature scroll case, used on the legs of pigeons from the depths of her bosom. A hand reached out from the stalks behind the tree trunk, took the scroll case, and in another rustle, disappeared. The barley stalks where high, and unless someone was actually next to her, they wouldn't be able to hear the conversation, nor see any exchange happening.

The messenger would soon meet up with Des Logna, the friend in arms. And she would ask him this as a coded message " When will I see my husband again." Where he would answer as the next sentence. And then she would pass him the scroll case, before disappearing into the crowd once more. Inside the miniature scroll case that is not bigger than a pink, lies an even smaller tightly rolled scroll. A message of sorts that were written in gibberish, only to the one intended will know.

Day and Night I yearned for your body,

To be one in union, in mind and in spirit,

Tormented strikes of hammers and weights of anvils,

By the zenith of the midsummer sun,

I wait.

Reya Marie Fair

Reya towered above everyone else, a smile on her angelic face. As Tybalt fell asleep she giggled, and she laughed as Ulric hid behind him. We are a strange group. As Adeline approached she smiled. "Good morning." Reya sighed as a naked Carmen fell onto Tybalt."Can we go eat? I am starving." She said as her stomach rumbled extremely loudly.

Ulric didn't move from his spot, not one bit. He appreciated Benjamin's efforts to calm him down...but then he slowly started to grow frustrated at Benjamin's petting. After about a minute, the black sheep turned to bite Benjamin, but stopped as he saw his eyes. Those big...galaxy-like eyes. He continued to stare at them, as if he were in a trance, eyes slowly turning into galaxies themselves. As Benjamin continued to let him, Ulric no longer made any plans of resistance...until something that strangely resembled a growl of a stomach woke him up. Turning to the possible predator, his fear quickly turned into anger and shock. That weird cat lady was molesting Tybalt! While he was asleep, no less! Oh, but not on Ulric's watch!

Scrapping his hoof into the ground, he let out a War-Cry and charged before he bucked off Carmen, giving the Neko a glare, all while Tybalt was still asleep, although he suddenly grabbed at the air and mumbled about his missing pillows.
