HylianWarrior

The Golden Maiden
Here is a list of the possible races your character can be, please keep note that most of the monsters listed here will be used by the Dungeon Master:

Gorons are rock eating humanoids that live on Death Mountain, they are exceedingly taller than humans and are seen as peaceful, sophisticated creatures with a brotherly culture.

As hinted by their appearance; Gorons are strong by nature and can shatter boulders with ease, another one of their unique features would be their ability to curl up into a ball and roll at top speeds, all while staying resistant to fire and magma. Gorons are also known for their fascination with explosives as they have created some of the strongest explosives in Hyrule, such as the Goronade and the Powder Keg.

The only weaknesses the Gorons have would be tall heights...and their inability to float or swim through the water, thankfully the oxygen found within their silicate meals provide them with a temporary immunity to drowning.

Zoras are aquatic humanoids that live in Zora's River, they are natural, freshwater swimmers who have a close connection towards the Royal Family of Hyrule. In the water, Zoras are a force to be reckoned with as they have outstanding agility, as well as the strength to swim up a powerful waterfall. Additionally, Zoras who are gifted with magic can create electric fields around their bodies and use it as a defence mechanism.

Outside of their natural abilities; the Zoras have established a monarchical government run by their current king; King Zora XVII, his wife Rutinta and their daughter Laruto. The Zora Royal Family are responsible for maintaining order among their people as well taking care of their new deity; Jabun, a descendant of Jabu-Jabu.

The Deku are plant-like beings that live in the Deep Woods, they are known to co-exist with the other races of Hyrule, most notably the Kokiri. Three types of Deku are known to exist with Deku Scrubs being the most common. Identified by their green leaves, Deku Scrubs aren't typically aggressive as they usually find themselves engaged in a conversation, they even have a monarchical system that's run by Deku Scrubs.

Mad Scrubs are known for their red leaves and bad attitude, they are usually silent and are prone to attacking travelers by shooting Deku Nuts. However, once they've been apprehended; they quickly turn tail and run back into the safety of their Deku Flowers, which usually serve as sentry posts.

Buisness Scrubs are the last known sub-species of Deku, as their name applies; they are usually seen in the marketplaces, selling the rarest treasures they come across.

The Deku can be very versatile when attacking...however they also have multiple weaknesses to boot. For example, most Deku can shoot Deku Nuts from their hollow mouths; those with magic can shoot bubbles instead, yet on the other side of the spectrum; they cannot fight against their weakness to fire and deep bodies of water.

and are often accompanied by their guardian fairies.

Once a secretive race; the Kokiri were cautious towards the outside world; believing that they would die if they left the forest, however, since the defeat of Ganondorf; they have been seen venturing outside of their domain spreading plant life around Hyrule.

Currently, they have no known methods of defence other than the Kokiri Sword which is rarely used by the tribe because of their pacifistic nature.

The Gerudo are a tribe of thieves that consists entirely of women; however, every hundred years, a man who is destined to be their king is born. They are usually found on the western borders of Hyrule where they live in large fortresses and camp sites, although it is possible to find some living amongst the Hylians, usually searching for mates. It should be noted however that the majority of the tribe have a distaste towards the Hylians as they find their customs to be; in their words, 'blasphemous'.

The Gerudian culture is centered around the deity known as the Goddess of the Sand, a being who the ancestors of the Gerudos (who at the time were masons and engineers) built a temple for as a form of tribute, this temple became known as the Spirit Temple, the worshipping grounds for the great Goddess.

In terms of strengths, Gerudo are swift, agile fighters who are skilled in swordplay, however as they're similar to Hylians with little to no armor, they're rather vulnerable to direct attacks.
