-PeSOnaLitY: Raven is a peculiar and rather morbid person, who seems to prefer the company of the paranormal to real people. She isn't unfriendly by any means and could even be considered charming, but there's always something just a little off about her. She dresses almost exclusively in black, and appears to move with a liquid grace that's almost inhuman, making some think she's from another realm herself. Raven is obsessed with spirits and ghosts, and will go to great lengths to encounter and encourage them. If this is something you like, she's happy to help assist you in having your own experience, but don't call the spirits evil or question their existence. She insists that skeptics are blind to a world far bigger than our own, and seems to take their doubt personally.

When not pursuing the ghosts themselves, she can be found gawking at traffic accidents, watching funerals and wandering graveyards with an eerie smile. Raven also enjoys working with herbs, and believes them to be far more effective than modern medicine, as is quite skilled at preparing elixirs, compresses and capsules. Her concoctions do seem a bit more powerful than one would expect from the ingredients...

Is Raven a witch? Some sort of ghost herself, or just a misguided teenage girl? Well, what do you think?

-biO: Growing up in suburbia, it was clear from the time she was a toddler that Raven wasn't quite like the other cheerful and innocent children. She always talked to her imaginary friends, and while her father originally found this endearing, he was a bit concerned when they seemed to talk back. This continued for for years, though Raven got much better at hiding it. Eventually, the girl grew tired of the benign, boring ghosts in their house and attempted to contact more of them. She managed to horrify her entire school when she told the story of the boy that had committed suicide there almost twenty years ago, as this was kept secret from the students and her description was so accurate it was unlikely she'd just found the story online. Concerned, she was sent to counselling, which she simply ditched.

Her teen years were spent rigorously studying the paranormal online and messing with ouija boards in the local cemeteries and hospital. She stumbled upon the sign-up forum by accident one night while scouring the web for more ghost stories, and was immediately intrigued.

wHY thEy SigNeD uP fOR tHe ShOW: Raven has no real need for the money, she simply wants to experience the haunted forest for herself and hopefully manage to contact more ghosts and spirits. Truthfully, she's also hoping her winning will help her gain more fans on her blog and youtube so she can have her own paranormal investigation show.

eXtRAs: Sometimes Raven will space out randomly and start muttering about someone's fate... whether this is put on for show or genuine, no one knows. The producers did eat it up, though.

-PeSOnaLitY: Charismatic, confident and with a sparkle in his eye, it's not hard to imagine Damien going places. He does have an attitude, and while not arrogant, he is rather stubborn. If you like sarcasm and one liners mixed with a dark sense of humor, he's your guy.

He always thought he'd be famous before age twenty, and he's more than a little concerned that it's not going to happen. Damien has trouble with commitment and is known for dabbling in many different hobbies, but acting and filmmaking are the ones that always dragged him back. He wants to produce a found-footage horror film that stars, is written and directed by himself, hoping that this will prove his skill and get him picked up. A life on the silver screen would be lovely, but at this point he'll settle for soap operas. The only thing he wasn't willing to do was reality TV... until a real opportunity arose. Oh well, maybe he can at least gain a bit of hard-earned recognition from this stupid fake show...

-biO: The firstborn child in a simple, middle-class family, Damien's early days were unremarkable and he spent plenty of time just being a kid. When he was three years old, his brother Vivian was born. That didn't really change things, at least not for the first few months. While he found the baby's crying a bit annoying, Damien liked his younger brother and could easily make him laugh, something his mother found very endearing. All that changed when Vivian got sick. He'd been born with a serious heart condition and nearly died on the table... though thankfully, the doctors got him back. The procedure that saved his life was very expensive, and the family ended up having to sell almost everything they owned to pay for it. This caused a lot of friction between his parents, and his father left a few weeks later.

His mother, broke and caring for two young children barely managed to make ends meet, but she kept them afloat. Damien first started working at age twelve, and continues today, though he spends his time off taking pictures and writing out script ideas. Vivian, better known as Angel, recovered and became passionate about music. The two have their arguments, but are quite close and seem almost more like best friends than siblings.

It could help him pull his family out of poverty as well as make his first project possible. Also, he's hoping that even though the show is cheesy, it'll help get his name out there.

-PeSOnaLitY: While Angel can't quite live up to his name, he does come pretty close. He's generally sweet-natured and a bit on the shy side, though he can also be a little snarky if annoyed. A true pacifist, he hates violence or hurting others, and if he does end up saying something rude, he'll either apologize or feel guilty for days. Angel is very sensitive and emotional, so he gets depressed and cries easily, something he finds rather embarrassing.

Music has been his passion since childhood, and a combination of talent and hard work have made him quite skilled in this field. Angel enjoys sharing his talent with the world, and has a youtube channel specifically for his music that has just over a thousand subscribers. With a combination of unique sound and an endearing personality, he's already managed to gain a few dedicated fans.

What they don't know is that the boy with the big grey eyes is living on borrowed time, and needs either a miracle or the top prize in a tasteless reality TV show to change this.

-biO: The younger sibling of Damien, Angel (then known as Vivian) was always a bit spoiled by his family and grew used to being babied. After the illness that almost claimed his life, his mother became very overprotective and had a hard time letting him go out and play with kids his age as he got older. She grew more relaxed as he neared his teen years, but he remained spoiled despite their tight budget. Angel disliked the excessive attention and felt bad for his older brother, but thankfully Damien had no resentment toward him despite the special treatment.

Angel wrote his first song at age seven and had learned the basics of guitar at eight, impressing both his family and peers. He continued to follow music and at age sixteen, is starting to gain a following online. He's hopeful that he can make something of his talent and bring money to his family, feeling guilty and though their struggles were all his fault.

A few months after his sweet sixteenth, Angel began feeling rather off and decided to visit a doctor in secret, not wanting to trouble his family. What he discovered was that the repair they'd done to save his life as a child wasn't holding up, and that he'd need another, more complex operation to fix it. Of course, he knew very well his that family couldn't afford it and refused to drag them any further into debt. With a bit of trickery and listing his estranged father as his guardian, he managed to keep the entire thing a secret, obtaining medication to buy him more time.

Now a few months later, it's beginning to run out. While Angel is terrified of the paranormal, flying and being alone, he knows the reality TV show he signed up for is his only real chance at getting enough money to save himself and his family. He only hopes that his brother will forgive him once he finds out.

-PeSOnaLitY: Stiles is a rather easy going woman who absolutely loves horror films, even the extremely cheesy old ones. In fact, they are the reason she has fallen in love with both cinematography and photography. Since she is such a big fan, it does take a lot to make her visibly scared as she will rationalize her fear much like she does with supernatural events. While she is extremely open to the possibility that there are things that happen that science can't necessarily explain does not mean she will immediately jump to the conclusion of "a ghost did it, everything is haunted", but rather try to give a logical explanation simply because she knows that people who aren't skeptics get extremely panicked really fast.

Granted that doesn't mean she will happily side with the overly skeptic people who completely dismiss the supernatural just to keep the peace, but she will get in a rather grumpy mood afterward. Nothing a little jog won't fix, or simply just taking a few minutes to bask at the nature around her. If those don't work she will either start cooking out her frustrations or snapping photos/taking videos. That is the last line of defense for her to cheer up, simply because it distracts her mind from thinking of what had gotten under her skin in the first place.

-biO: Stiles had a happy childhood with parents who were as big of movie nerds as she was, only they preferred more of the action and sci-fi genres rather than horror. Though they supported their little girl's love for the movies, after finding out that she would sneak into the living room to watch them when they had forbidden her watching them after the weeks of nonstop nightmares. Yet the young girl just couldn't get enough and soon those movies stopped bothering her since she now could see the flaws about the monsters on the screen.

The brief realization is where she began to grow more inspired about the world around her. Constantly changing the angle she looked at things, especially when she was out with her father hiking in the woods. Something that became almost as constant as her nightly movie marathons. When she turned around ten her father took her hunting and began to teach all about it, mostly in vain since the poor girl detested hurting the poor animals, but she happily listened in on all his tips and tricks for hunting.

Really it was when her mother tagged along with a camera that she found her niche. She handed the ten-year-old Stiles the camera while she helped the girl's father out of the ditch he fell in. Seeing the world through the viewfinder of the video camera filled her with joy. So she started filming a little cooking show with her mom where she just hovered around the women with her eyes locked on the viewfinder. She only started branching into more things when she started going to middle school and took up track. Her mother often recorded her races and it just enthralled the teen to see the scene of the race be played in front of her eyes. Which soon lead to her filming the practices herself when she could.

In high school, she joined the drama club and was the camerawoman and director for most of their skits. Since her work was top-notch for her age, her drama teacher allowed her to film for the school news and whenever they had plays or really any big school event, even going so far as to have her try out photographing some of the sports events. Needless to say, she got lots of practice before she graduated high school and went on to the field that had always fascinated her with the backing of her friends and family. However, college is extremely expensive and her classes required better equipment that the rentals they had to lend out to students were always out. Which lead to her signing up for the show. She needed new equipment for her project next semester and no funds to get it despite freelancing for money as well as her job as a waitress.

Elsie isn’t shy but she isn’t confident either. She can initiate conversation but usually tends to go with the other persons flow. She has trouble expressing herself because she just wants to be liked by everyone. She is hiding within a shell everyday. A shell of falseness, a happy facade that she thinks will please others. But she is extremely down of herself otherwise. After years of her mother calling her fat and lazy because she was slightly over-weight she has just begun to accept that as reality. She lost a lot of weight over the years, mostly by not eating.

Despite all this going on in her head she tends to form good relationships with people. She has a few close friends which she shares everything inside her head with, probably the reason why she isn’t depressed. She is extremely accepting and forgiving and will very rarely get overly angry, and if she does, not for long. She prefers to work with others in teams and could never stand working or being alone. She is quite witty but she over thinks the things she says and people wouldn’t know this about her as most things don’t venture outside of her head.

Elsie grew up in a small town to a single and extremely mean mother. Her mother was bitter about her father leaving her, and she took that out on her child. their relationship was strained as she grew up. Most nights since Elsie turned 14, her mother, Jojo, would turn up drunk at 3am with a man all over her. Elsie distanced herself from relationships most her life because of that. Her mother said awful things to her when she would wake up each morning, usually hungover, usually about the way she looked or the fact that she was ‘lazy’ and wouldn’t do anything to help her out.

Elsie was bullied at school as well. She had no friends through most of it and skipped a lot of school days, rustling in poor grades. When she was 16 she dropped out of school and ended up working a few jobs to support herself. She worked at a farm, picking fruits, grooming the animals and cleaning the stables. She walked dogs in her spare time, and she did a couple days a week in a little new agency shop.

She eventually was able to move away from her mother and lead her own life but she was always quite tight for money between rent, rule and bills as well as food. Still, she was able to finally gain some confidence and some friends.

Despite that amount of anger, it only comes out when someone triggers it by going above and beyond to annoy or get a rise out of him,

Otherwise, he is just like every other person his age, he can be impulsive and overdramatic simply because he only just got out of his teens. He is aware of his responsibilities and completes them as best he can, but at heart, he has still yet to grow up. On the other hand, he does have a profound connection with his sister in the sense that he might as well be her father with how protective he is of her. Yet that may be because of his father influencing him to feel that way so that the older male would know someone was always looking out for his baby girl.

-biO: Scott's parents were movie fanatics, of whom made it a family outing to go to the old-school drive-thru theaters when he was younger. He absolutely loved it, and when his sister showed an affinity for horror films, his heart was broken from watching the traumatizing films cause it was his sister's turn to pick the movie. Just like she was unhappy when he got to pick, simply because he enjoyed the Romance genre. That fact soon became a secret when he went to middle school since he now had a reputation to maintain as a jock. He also started going hunting with his father to have something to brag about at school besides the number of fights he got into back up his "friends".

On his off time, he relaxed with video games and at his sister's suggestion, started a Youtube channel for gaming. He hadn't expected to get popular, but he did around high school with how he started to do face cams as well as working with his friends in the games. Though since he took up Shop Class, he had also started to make videos about things he made as well as the antics he and his friends. As graduation grew closer, his popularity was high enough that Youtube could be a career for him. Which his parents supported wholeheartedly, especially when he also added a segment of showing off the props they had made.

When his sister left for college he kept in touch with her really well, mostly because they were roommates and despite him offering to help her out, she still chose to do the TV Show idea he said was extremely sketchy. So he is now going simply to keep her from getting kidnapped in case the whole thing was a hoax.

She's not against giving help or advice other people. Matty doesn't like to push though, if you don't want her help she's not going to force it.

Funnily enough, even though she's no stranger to death defying stunts and experiences she HATES the paranormal. She doesn't like scary movies that much or anything that has to do with demons or ghost. It's one thing to jump from the roof of a bounding to another but demons and ghosts and...the other side. That's stuff you don't mess around in. She has a healthy respect and fear of paranormal things. Though she doesn't seem like it, she's a spiritual person and has a cross necklace tucked beneath her shirt.

-biO: Matty had a rough start in life. Her parents had wanted a boy so they named her Matthew. They didn't care for her much at all. She never lived up tho their standards. While she was never abused she was always neglected and had to take care of herself most of the time. She ended up going to high-school and getting honors on her own but it was still never acknowledged. It was to the point that she did everything for her own sake, and for her own happiness.

When her brother was born her parents seemed to forget she existed. Her brother on the other hand, looked up to her and admired her. Her parents started to resent her even more. Her brother wasn't into sports, and was very artistic. He ended up not being what their parents wanted either. Matty made sure that her brother was taken care of but she couldn't be around all the time. The day she found her father hitting him, well....she decided enough was enough. She contacted any family members that would listen about her situation.

Her brother went to a cousin's house and she went with him until she got a job and paid for her own apaprtment.

Personality

Desdemona is the party type. She loves adventure of looking for her next big celebration, especially if it involves sneaking into places. This behaviour lessoned slightly with age, but as a whole she's constantly on the lookout to this day.

Her stubbornness has always been an issue. Since she was young, she's always known exactly what she wants and when, and will not change her mind no matter what. This has carried on throughout her life, and no matter what has happened, she still refuses to give up on something or someone that she wants. It's caused her to also become very competitive, and quite frankly many people because of this view her as a pain in the ass. But, she is quite clever, so that tends to balance it all out, as she does do things with tact.

Biography

Desdemona was born into a fairly upper middle class family. She was raised by average parents, went to the local public school, and got good grades. She was popular, dated a bunch, and generally had a good time. But despite this, Desdemona was never quite satisfied. She dabbled with drugs and alcohol, and snuck into parties on the regular since she was young. When her parents found out, she was promptly kicked out, causing her to spend the next year couch surfing from house to house.

By the time she graduated, she's secured a steady but boring job serving coffee in a late night diner, and it was a miracle she passed her classes. In her spare time she tends to go to concerts and works to scrape up money for rent with her friend Finley, who she met through her job. He was the one who found the show, and it was him in fact that encouraged her to sign up with him.

Personality

Finley has quite an addictive personality, and he knows it too. He's got a huge thing for most drugs and he really doesn't care. He's tried just about everything under the sun, save for the really hard stuff. His personal favourites are the ones that make him hallucinate, although he's also a big fan of weed and while it isn't a drug per say, he also loves vodka.

Many people look at Finley and see a deadbeat. Really he's just got no idea how to focus on one task. He's got talent and drive, just a lack of direction. But he's never let that stop him, and he's quite a chill man because of it. He's got no real cares in life and enjoys going with the flow of things instead of making his own way.

Biography

Born into a middle class family, Finley had a nice life. He just got rather interested in drugs at too young an age. He was fourteen when he first started smoking, and by the time he was sixteen was into way too many drugs. When his family found out they tried to help him, but he rejected it violently and eventually ran away.

He spent the next couple of years living on his own, and it was at his job at a late night diner. The two hit it off quickly, and since Finley needed a roommate, he asked Desdemona to live with him, which she quickly accepted. From then on out he tended to follow her most places, and enjoyed the fact that she didn't much care for his habits.

In fact, the only reason he wants to get off drugs, at least temporarily is because his mother got quite sick, and his father can't afford treatment. He figures if his mum dies, she'd at least like to see him clean, so that's what he plans to do. When he saw the ad looking for players, he convinced Desdemona to sign up with him, figuring it would bea quick way to make some money.

Bronxton is what you could call a ‘Pretty idiot’. He is a bit dimwitted and fairly slow to catch on when being made fun of. He doesn’t mean any harm, and is actually a very nice man, he just wasn’t born with the gift of the gab. Bronxton loves to have fun and chill out. He wants a stress free life that is a lot of fun. He doesn’t like confronting people or picking fights. That being said, he can sometimes be a little too prideful which can make him seem like he has a fairly big ego. When issued a challenge, no matter how stupid or dangerous, nine times out of ten, he will follow through.

He is fairly passionate about everything he decides he wants to do. Weather it be someone he wants to be with forever, or a sport that he wants to rise to the top in. He is loyal and very devoted whenever he is focused on getting somewhere or doing something. Bronxton doesn’t back down. Ever. he can be annoyingly persistent about things sometimes

Overall he has a kind heart and never wants to do anything to make those around him upset, even if they are people he doesn’t know very well. He tends to form bonds quickly and trust easily.

Bronxton hasn’t had a very hard life. He lived with his rich parents in a big house by the beach. They wanted their son to become important and successful just like them, but Bronxton didn’t do very well at school, nor did he have a very good drive to do well. In their eyes, his love for surfing was ‘Goofing off’ and the fact that he spent a lot of his childhood doing very, very well in their local competitions, that wasn’t success. Bronxton was very popular with the ladies, but none of them ever lasted the long term because they found out how gullible he was.

Durin his teenage years he was manipulated a lot. He did things like steal for his friends, do drugs, drink underage. The more he hung with this crowd, the further away he became from his parents, and one day they just snapped.

They gave Bronxton some money to set him up for a while, but after that he was on his own to find a home and a job. Never having had any responsibility in his life this really threw him into the deep end. He stayed with his current girlfriend Olivia for a year or so before she broke up with him and kicked him out for never having a job.

So for a long time Bronxton couch-hopped, paying people off with his winnings from surfing competitions and generally mooching off their food and facilities. Eventually, he made enough money from surfing to rent his own house in the inner suburbs. But he longed to live on the beach again.

-PeSOnaLitY: Santiago is a very humble person. He doesn't like to brag and tends to get a bit embarrassed when people praise him for his work too much. That aside, he's very passionate about whatever he is doing and puts his best effort into anything he does do. He's level headed and likes to think things through before he does them, never one to rush through anything. He likes to take his time and make sure things are done right.

Family is extremely important to Santiago. He has very strong ties to family and close friends. He likes helping others in general and is usually the best person to call when you need help. There's not a lot that can bring him down since he has a very positive personality. He also takes a lot pride in his Mexican heritage. Though because of his kindness he does find himself being taken advantage of at times. In that case he's quick to cut someone off. -biO: His parents were originally from Mexico but moved to America in the hopes of finding better lives. He was born and raised in Lincoln, Louisiana. He was raised on family traditions and values and was the youngest of two brothers and one sister. While he did have a very good relationships with his siblings he always felt like he had a lot to live up to. Eventually he found his individuality in sculpting and cooking. From the age of 15 and up he made wood and ice sculptures, earning himself a reputation in the art world. He was always in the kitchen helping his mother cook, eventually creating his own recipes.

Santiago made an impressive amount of money in freelance work. His family encouraged him to explore the world and gain experiences in new places. So he did. He traveled, finding that it increased the creativity of his muse. Working didn't feel like work because of how much he enjoyed it. Every now and then he would go back home to visit his family. Born into a rich family of Korean immigrants, who spoiled her through her entire childhood even though she never really talks about it. She got the highest tier education in private schools despite knowing that she never really needed a job and would never her entire life. Despite never being an "A" student, she got into the countries' higher tier university for humanities and is currently in her last year.

She doesn't currently have an occupation, in fact she's never had one and is not planning to get one at all. Her parents are wealthy enough to sustain more than ten people for a lifetime, and Natalie is the only child. Her education is simply a way for her to sate her child-like curiosity about life in general, which is why she moved on with university even though her parents didn't deem it a necessity for her to. The Celestina at first approach, is very quiet. She doesn't really like socializing much, making it hard for her to make friends (she only has like 3 back home.) Everything thinks of her as an outsider, which is why she is such and easy target for those merciless bullies.

She isn't your stereotypical emo. She is quite upbeat actually. Blessed (sometimes cursed) with a sweet personality, people tend to like hanging out with her. She isn't one to cause trouble.
