    The year is 1977 and a dark cloud has settled over the wizarding world. A new dark wizard, Voldemort, is on the rise. He and his followers, the Death Eaters, are causing chaos on a quest to preserve blood purity. They are targeting muggleborns and the people who support them. People are disappearing and dying more and more in attacks. It is clear that war is on the horizon.

    A new group has emerged that is dedicated to fighting against Voldemort and his Death Eaters. The Order of the Phoenix, led by Albus Dumbledore vehemently opposes Voldemort’s views on blood supremacy and they are willing to put their lives on the line to fight against him. The Order is selectively recruiting members who will keep their information completely confidential for the group’s safety, as well as their own. The Ministry of Magic is useless and without them, Voldemort continues to go unchecked.

    For students at Hogwarts, they are safe within the castle walls. Or at least they are for now. The older students know that they will have to leave the safety of the castle very soon. They know they will be facing off against former classmates, friends, and even family to fight for what they believe in. James is typically a bit too clever for his own good, and a lot of his concentration is devoted to getting himself and his friends in trouble. Though more than a bit arrogant in his earlier years at Hogwarts, he is a bit more mature at seventeen, no longer jinxing random students in the halls....Usually. The summer between his sixth and seventh year has forced James to grow up unusually fast-his attention has turned from girls and Quidditch to the growing political unrest and divide he sees happening, both in Hogwarts and the world outside of it. His fierce loyalty and unshakable sense of right and wrong lead him to sometimes act recklessly in defense of those he feels are being treated unfairly. This is most obvious in his relationships with Sirius, Remus and Peter, whom he regards more as brothers than friends. Through all of this, of course, James still sports a wicked sense of humor, and a tendency to stray on the wrong side of the rules.

Opinions on Blood Purity - James knows his lineage is Pure technically, but hasn't considered it to be a very big deal. Overall never gave it enough thought to consider it might influence how people perceive each other. This changed when he witnessed how Sirius's family treated him, and he is vehemently opposed to the concept of Pureblood superiority.
Thoughts on a Possible War -Though he outwardly claims he has no fear, James worries about this many nights. The fact that his father is worried disturbs him greatly, and witnessing students in his school begin to display open bigotry infuriates and concerns him.

Family - Fleamont and Euphimia are his parents, and were quite a bit older when James was born. He also considers his closest friends to be more like family (He pestered his parents for a sibling many times as a child.)

History - James lead a relatively normal and privileged life. He made friends quickly at Hogwarts, and quickly devised a plan in his first year to try and sneak into the Gryffindor Quidditch Tryouts, despite first years not being allowed. He continued pestering the team captain until his second year, when he was finally admitted onto the team as a Chaser. Sometime between his third and fifth year, James came to realize one of his close friends, Remus, was a werewolf. Rather than shun him after this discovery, James treated the condition with acceptance, even going so far as to devise a plan to turn all four of them into Animagi, in order to assist Remus during transformation. He initially began work on the Marauders map as a means to sneak Remus treats from the kitchens, or later, from Hogsmeade. In his fifth year, his somewhat obnoxious pursuit of Lily Evans ended after she chastised him in the Hogwarts Grounds, and he began regarding some of his pranks as immature and childish. His rule breaking dwindled in his sixth year, and he spent more time practicing on his broom and honing his Transfiguration studies instead. He also developed a great liking for Historical Fiction, especially the Middle Ages.

Though he attempts to appear dismissive and superior, there is a distinct air of discomfort, especially during social events, which tend to make him very nervous. Opinions on Blood Purity -Being Halfblooded, Laertes is very tight-lipped about his own status, and has attempted to emulate the guise of a pureblood in order to further his aims. He envies the privilege and connections that pureblood enjoy. However, he isn't sure if their sense of superiority is justified.

History - Laertes and his sister were unplanned children. His mother, against her parent's wishes, began a romantic relationship with a man once she graduated Hogwarts. Despite repeated questions from both her children, Monica has never revealed the man's identity, nor even shown a photograph, and simply informed them that he'd ran off once the twins were born. As a child, Laertes was always incredibly sensitive to loud noises and textures, and seems to cry about nothing. He did not speak until age three, at which time he used full sentences. At age six, he was found to be on the Autism spectrum, but this has in no way impeded on his life, and is simply a factor of his personhood. He attended Hogwarts along with Ophelia at age 11, at which time he was sorted into Slytherin. Right away, he tried his best to fit in with his peers, often copying their mannerisms and style of dress. However, this tended to have the opposite affect. Eventually, Laertes simply began to focus on his own goals, and stopped focusing so hard on being liked. He maintained top marks in all of his classes aside from Herbology (He didn't like the idea of plants that could bite him.)

Being quite likable, she has a fairly solid group of friends at Hogwarts, and will often drag Laertes along to events, believing that it would help him to socialize and get out of his shell. With her outgoing nature, Ophelia also shares her twin's observant and calculative skill, though she is more interested in the pursuit of knowledge for it's own sake. She also has high expectations for herself, sometimes unrealistically so, and is very protective of her brother. She also sometimes thinks of herself as the smartest person in the room, even when that isn't nessicarily true.

History - Ophelia was a very insightful child. Before Laertes had begun to speak, she would often be able to request whatever it was he wanted from their mother, even if there was no obvious reason why he was upset. She also had a knack for remembering things, particularly if she had read about them. She was very nervous to attend Hogwarts, but had a remarkably easier time making friends than her brother did. Over time, she became totally invested in her school work, working hard to maintain her grades, even if they weren't always above average. It soon became clear that Ophelia was far more apt to devote study time to things she personally found interesting, rather than things she was actually assigned work on. She did wind up writing a fully researched essay devoted to proving her theory that Helga Hufflepuff and Rowena Ravenclaw were secretly in a romantic relationship, and wants to write a full book on the matter someday.
Extra - She is very adept at reading people, and can sometimes make a fairly educated guess as to their emotional state, even if she has never spoken with them

However she is certainly eye-catching due to her looks and the air of mystery that surrounds her. Adalicia is a tall young woman, standing at an impressive 5’10.

Maggie is strong willed once she sets her mind to something.Apart from being tenacious, she is also quick to call people out on their behavior if they're being too much and insensitive. She will never back downjust to fight for what's right.

Though she doesn't have much, she is free spirited and still enthusiastic about her simple and mundane life. She is very keen on details, especially when it comes to cleaning. From afar it could be seen as gray but up close it is stained with greens and flecks of hazel browns.. She has a slender figure, angular face, and fair skin that some people thought that she's a part veela for a split second. Her height may not be towering but she stands in average 5'7 though she often hunches along with her head down due to her being uncomfortable and shy.

Most of them are handmade from some cheap fabric she can buy and some of her dresses are second hand from a thrift shop she bought in Diagon Alley. Even her bonnets and winter gloves were hand knitted by her. She has only 2 leather boots, the less tattered were used as her school shoes and the other one is for her day to day. If it's called for, especially when it's her turn to clean the cages in Magical Menagerie, she wears trousers and shirt.

BACKGROUND


Maggie's parents were both a Squib. Her mother, hailing from Spain while her father, from France, met in England. They were both pushed out of their family for the sole reason of not being able to perform magic. They were considered as the greatest shame in their family so, the two started over in Great Britain. Her mother became a florist while her dad owns a small bakery in the city and the two promised never to look back to the cruel people who turned them away.

When Maggie started to show signs of magic, her mother told her to hide it. At least, hide it from her father. Despite being banished and cut off, her mother is not too adverse of the wizarding community, unlike her father who completely turned his back and hated everything that is related to magic. That's why when she was 11 and received her letter, her father threw a fit and demanded her to forget about it.

It was her mom who pushed her to go to school and pursue her heart.

Maggie knew the risk and consequences but the girl was too delighted to ever think about it so she went on. Ever since she started her schooling, she never spoke to her dad again. but every once in a while, she meets her mom in secret.

She knew she had to work hard and to fend for herself when it came to financial means. With the help of her mother’s friend, she landed a job in the Leaky Cauldron for her lodging and meals while when she's not in Hogwarts and as for her school things, she took another job in the Magical Menagerie as a shop assistant and a cleaner.

Death Eaters are everything she despises in the world. Supremacist, horrible, cruel and vile. They have no regard for the law. They're more than willing to kill just to impose their beliefs. It is daunting, but Maggie is willing to fight for what's right just to protect everyone she loves and escape from such tyranny.

Ravenclaw. She attended their party once but when she was nearly caught going back to their dorm room, she stopped sneaking around to attend them.
