Name: Akasha Ciel oc.png

Alias: Starborn

Age: 24

Race: Celestial

Sub-Race: Not Applicable

Element: Lightning

Guardian: Akasha Ciel

Orientation: Questioning

Gender: Female

Personality: Akasha views herself as an artisan of the cosmos. Cloaked in constellations and humming with celestial pride, she crafts dazzling displays of art and clothes from raw stardust. Interaction with lesser races? Beneath her, mere dust motes compared to her star-forged brilliance. Only among her celestial kin, where arrogance is currency, does she deign to trade barbs and bask in the reflection of her own cosmic glory. Akasha has harbored a heart as cold and distant as the void in between the stars. Even amongst her kind, she sports a solitary tune, her interactions veiled with disdain. Only when challenged or her brilliance questioned does the mask slip, revealing a flicker of insecurity masked by icy fury.

Despite her demeanor and aloof arrogance, there is a hidden warmth within Akasha. Mainly by witnessing acts of humans and other races performing selfless acts that would force her to stir begrudging respect. Deep down, perhaps buried beneath layers of pride, resided a dormant desire to connect, to share the wonders of the cosmos with those willing to look up, their insignificance momentarily forgotten in the awe of the starlight.

History:
Forged in the crucible of dying stars, Celestials weren't birthed from Earth's womb, but woven from the fabric of creation itself. Sculpted from stardust and shimmering with supernova brilliance, reflected the constellations etched across the cosmos. Celestials Like Akasha view themselves as higher beings. A stark contrast from "Mud-forged" (Any race of people who were born from the planet) In their eyes, Earthlings are mayflies, consumed by mud-bound squabbles, blind to the cosmic tapestry unfurling above.

Akasha like her kin was born from a star's first dying breath. Even as an infant she radiated an ethereal aura that most other races had trouble comprehending. Celestials form when they are young are ever-changing tapestries, shimmering with secrets of the galaxy themselves. Akasha was raised by her community until her form stabilized. She adopted the shimmering silhouette of a woman wreathed in constellations. Now ready to contribute to her people, Akasha began her training. She learned to manipulate stardust, weaving it into brilliant clothes and armor, guiding its flow to heal while adorned. A skilled artisan, Akasha sells her wear to the Mud-forged for prices so high only the elite can afford them.

Profession: Aether weaver

Hobbies: Cooking, Sleeping.

Like: Art, Competition, Reverence, Fashion, Star gazing.

Hates: Diminished Reverence, Loss of control, Disrespect.

Powers:

Standard Power set: The ability to generate and manipulate electricity, The ability to make their physical body become electricity. The ability to absorb electricity to bolster themselves

Active: Constellation Strikes- Summon specific constellations to unleash targeted star-infused lightning with various effects. For example, Ursa Major could unleash a powerful, wide-area blast, while Orion could rain down precise, piercing strikes.

Passive: Astral Regeneration- Under direct starlight, minor wounds heal slightly faster due to the revitalizing energy of celestial light infused with solar-charged particles.

Weapons: Crescent-shaped Blade that absorbs her energy , Also doubles as a source of light!

Weaknesses: Mental - Akasha's immense pride and belief in her superiority can be exploited. Her isolation from other races can also be used against her, as she might underestimate the intelligence and resourcefulness of beings she considers "lesser."

Spiritual - Her pride in her lineage leaves her to not question gaps in her ancestor's knowledge. Exposing her to any truths about how Celestials are not the people they perceive themselves as, perhaps through ancient texts or hidden artifacts, could shatter her belief system, create existential doubt, or even corrupt her celestial essence, leaving her conflicted and vulnerable.

Physical - While her form is resilient, it can be disrupted by specific frequencies or energies found in certain rare minerals or magic phenomena. Leaving her destabilized and in immense pain.

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Extras: Music!

    • Half Sun Elf
    • Guardian of Darkness

    powers & weapons
    POWERS
    • Standard: The standard powers of a Guardian of Darkness.
    • Unique: Ebony Bolt - Adisa can select a target and send an arrow of darkness after it. The path that this arrow takes will remain visible to Adisa until she finds the target, releases the power, or shoots another one. She can alternatively strike her target with this bolt, at the expense of not having the path available to her. Adisa can only pursue one target at a time with this, and it requires a sacrifice of some sort- ideally something that belongs to the target.
    • Passive: Heart of Stone - When Adisa feels an excess of emotion, she will stop feeling any emotion and instead be unaffected by anything around her until the heightened emotion would have passed. While useful in a crisis, an excess of joy will also result in her becoming detached. This also takes a physical toll on her, most often in the form of exhaustion.
    WEAPONS
    • Twin daggers
    • Bone and Wood Recurve Bow

Name: Adisa Naesalor
Alias: Disa
Age: 23
Race: Half Elf
Sub-Race: Elf side is Sun Elf
Element: Darkness
Guardian: Yes
Orientation: Bisexual
Gender: Female
Personality: Adisa is not as confident as she maybe should be. She expects to be ignored and, as a result, ends up fading into the background. She often struggles between speaking up about what she sees as right or wrong and a fear of retribution. Adisa is, as a whole, rather polite, and unlikely to make much of an impression upon first meeting her. Upon knowing her further, one will find that she tends to care deeply about others, sometimes even to her own detriment.

Adisa is desperate to find love in the corners of the world: in the way that a bee pollinates a flower, in the way that little fish will keep larger fish clean of debris, in the way that a person might buy a meal for a stranger. While not vocal of it, she is certain of an undercurrent of love throughout the world. This makes her naive, to a degree, though she is not blind to the less loving sides of life.

She can come of as aloof and uncaring in an effort to not overstep with strangers, and is generally content to keep to herself. While more than happy to talk with others, Adisa is stopped from reaching out to others from worry of being an unwelcome presence, and thus has some trouble deepening connections with others. When she does become close with someone, she is completely loyal and loving; it takes a great deal to break the bonds she holds with others.
History: It was always clear that Adisa was odd for a sun elf. The most striking fact was her skin tone: she was so pale, and none of the rest of her people were anywhere near her color. She may have inherited their dark hair and blue eyes, and they may have never treated her any different for her appearance, but that didn't stop her from realizing that she was an oddity at a young age. They all had such beautiful, dark brown and black skin tones, and she always felt she looked sickly against them. Her family were nomads; they were a caravan that would stop here and there, pick or or leave a member at each town, and always celebrating- from union to childbirth to coming of age to death, they always found joy. Happiness was essential, they told her, just as important as food and water.

Adisa's father had been a human who had joined the caravan, allegedly in love with her mother. He had found it difficult to adapt to the sun elves' communal nature and let his resentment build up; when a hoof cleaning resulted in Adisa's mother passing, her father insisted on taking her and leaving the caravan, and took his resentment out on her. While never anything physical, Adisa still carries some scars from that. Shortly before she hit puberty, she vowed to never make another feel the way her father has made her feel.

Her mother's caravan were light practitioners, and it just so happened that Adisa and her father ended up staying in a town that was also light inclined. As she grew up, Adisa learned a good deal of the theory behind light magic, though struggles to cast it herself. In town, she found herself drawn to a grizzly old man who was a hunter. While he had no children to pass his art to and seemed resistant to teaching Adisa what he knew, he eventually took her under his wing after getting to know her father well enough. He ultimately taught her how to craft her bow and gifted her the daggers that she carries to this day.
Profession: Hunter
Hobbies: Bird watching, Wood carving, Singing
Likes: Reading, Nice smelling things, Music, Animals, Smoke
Hates: Arrogance, Being cold, Waking up early, Poetry, Cranberries
Powers:
  • Standard: The expected powers of a Guardian of Darkness.
Weapons: Twin daggers, Wood and Bone Recurve bow
Weaknesses:
  • Endurance: Adisa relies on surprise, and is thus unused to fighting for any period of time.
  • Anxiety: Adisa is always nervous that something will go wrong; she could be convinced that she is what's wrong without much trouble.
  • Love: Adisa believes in all flavors of love, even when it's small. Convincing her that said love is limited would break her.
Alightment: Neutral Good
Other: Her ears are distinctly pointed for a human, and not pointed clearly enough for an elf. While having had her early life development in line with what would be expected for a human, her mid and late life development will be in line with what is expected for an elf.

Magic

Active Spells (3/3)
  • Mana-coding - The rare ability to interact with and alter magical energies and spells. This can be used as Enchantment magic to imbue spells into an object or onto a surface, or augment another spellcaster's magic. While there are many applications and opportunities for finer attention to detail when spellcrafting, enchantment requires another known magic to be imbued into the vessel. As such, it acts as a carrier for other magic to be triggered.

  • Summoning - The common ability to summon allies from another realm, or create them from materials around you. Dr. Valhurst specialises in Earth Golems.

  • Spatial Manipulation - The uncommon ability to distort space. While the applications are endless, Dr. Valhurst is currently only capable of using an Item Box spell to store his belongings.
Passive Abilities (2/2)
  • Eyes of the Brother - Dr. Valhurst's eyes are enchanted transplants from his late-brother. They allow him to perceive different wavelengths and energies, affording detailed insight into a variety of things. Notably, Dr. Valhurst uses it to predict/react to danger or sense the intentions of the person he's talking to, as well as to supplement his enchantments.

  • Psychic Sensitivity -
Equipment

Personality

History

Summary

  • Lawfully rebellious, morally dubious, philosophically intelligent, driven like no other.
  • Active Spells: Mana-coding, Summoning and Spatial Manipulation. Passives: Eyes of the Brother & Psychic Sensitivity. Lightning affinity.
  • items
  • Wishes to return the flow of magic back to the way it was. Works to undo the enchantment that empowers the Guardians.
  • He's the bad guy if you stand against him, otherwise he's chill~
