Spoiler: Roxanne Atori

Name: Roxanne Atori
Age: 24yrs
Gender: Female
Notable features: Purple Iris’s.

Personality: To those on the compound Roxanne can be seen as a fearless leader and a woman who holds the world on her shoulders. That’s not to say she does not struggle, in fact she does so often but when she does she bears the brunt of the burden herself and does so with little complaint if any. Her allies will find her willing to do anything to help them and foes will find someone willing to do anything to destroy them before they can harm those she cares about. However despite all her high expectations for others and adherence to a pattern or system, there are few out there as hard on themselves as she is. At the end of the day no matter how well she does, she will always feel as if she could have done better.

Backstory: Born in 1997 in the farmhouse of the compound with her twin brother Roxas. The two of them were always close, With Roxanne being the responsible one and Roxas going out of his way to ensure his sister didn’t burn out. While Roxanne doesn’t remember much about the time before their procedure she did remember that her mother and father seemed to get along much better before the process was done. At first Roxanne didn’t seem to have any particular abilities that she knew of, at least until the incident in 2010 when a fifth of the compound was destroyed…more would have been lost if Roxanne hadn’t discovered her ability at perhaps the most convenient time imaginable.

From that point on Roxanne seemed to shine her way to a position in leadership. By the time she was fourteen she had already managed to hack her way into her fathers database and find out why he made them and what he intended for them to do. She and her father would have a talk behind closed doors, after which she made no further attempts to break into his computer and would even go on to help the other siblings manage their mutations where she could.

Needless to say her natural leadership skills, the amount of time she had put into helping the others, and her insider knowledge made her the perfect candidate to take her fathers place in running the compound. However as per usual her brother would remain at her side and she would fill him in to act as a moral support and backup if she needed it.

Weird Mutation:
Weirdrad Absorption & Nullification- Roxanne is capable of absorbing Weirdrad energy and radiation even from a range. That which she absorbs is destroyed with no traces left behind. She can use this to nullify the abilities of her siblings temporarily, and if used on a normal human she can cause them to die within a second and a half however this will require physical contact.

Foil: Against a normal human her powers only work on contact and will only cause fatalities. Her lack of wanting to kill others prevents her from using this power offensively.

Status: Leader of the Compound, Enemy of the Luminaries.

Name: Roxas Atori
Age: 24yrs
Gender: Male
Notable features: Purple Iris’s.

Personality: If you asked anyone on the compound who was the best person to talk to about something personal was everyone would say Roxas. He tends to talk an awful lot but never about things people have told him in confidence. Sadly he hates his armor but must wear it to be around people which he loves enough to tolerate the uncomfortable suit. He typically is high energy and always itching for adventure, yet he is strangely aware of the limits of those around him and will almost always offer that helping hand to get past the last hurdle. Unfortunately he seems not to have as much care for his own safety and more often than not will make pretty severely impulsive decisions, but if you asked him he always made the right call, the world just opposed his decision and he had to show it what for.

Backstory: When the Twins were born their differences were made very apparent. While Roxanne seemed a reserved and calm child, Roxas was a wild child who seemed unable to control his impulses. Roxas was ever the explorer even before the procedures changed him, and he only became more so afterwards. Unlike his sister who seemed to excel in all manners of intellect Roxas only seemed to excel in athletics. However he underwent a transformation similar to the others once puberty acted as a catalyst to his abilities blooming. None were particularly surprised at Roxas’s ability at first, the hyperactive kid made energy, it just made sense. However as they poured into the notes and data on it something terrifying was revealed. Young Roxas had the potential to destroy the world.

Many of the Staff advocated for Roxas being destroyed but all were overridden by Maxwell. A containment suit was built and wireless energy transfer devices were built into him and his sisters suits in order to give Roxas a suitable venting mechanism. It didn’t really change to much as the twins were already inseparable, but the end result made this inseparability mandatory for Roxas survival. Ever the optimist Roxas seemed unphased by this change in his life and instead seemed to find joy and amusement in his powers and how they work with the others. However the same could not be said about the loss of his mother. Roxas had always been a mommas boy and losing her seemed to take away some of the jovial light he brought to an area.

He handled the loss of his father a few years later In a much better way, actively grieving with others and seeking comfort where he could. While simultaneously offering an ear to the others who no doubt felt the loss just as heavily as he did. Unfortunately he was unable to prevent the group from fracturing after Maxwell perished but he certainly seemed back to normal pretty quickly afterwards. In recent weeks he seems to have grown rather angry at the Luminaries and is accusing them of hunting those who left the Compound. He has been an advocate for launching a war against them since Rick left the compound four months ago.

Weird Mutation:
Weirdrad Generation- Roxas’s mutation is down to the subatomic level and each of his atoms generates huge amounts of Weird radiation. Each cell in his body has mutated to hold large amounts of this radiation and rapidly converts it into energy. This weird energy is highly radioactive and has numerous effects based on levels of saturation however Roxas is immune to all these effects be them beneficial or detrimental. First those exposed to the energy will develop a rapidly occurring and usually stable Weirdrad mutation, in normal humans this grants a random superpower, while Others like him from the compound gain a boost to their existing Weirdrad powers in either case the effects are temporary. This is the stable stage. The next stage is called the destabilizing stage and it is one he tries to avoid. At this level of saturation the mutations become much more powerful but also run the risk of permanent genetic mutation which unfortunately devolves into cancer 90% of the time. The final stage is The Atomizing stage and it is just as bad as it sounds. The amount of energy pumped into the atoms reaches a stage of criticality that overpowers molecular bonds causing atoms to rupture effectively destroying whatever is hit with this. The purple cannon stores Weirdrads from him into six shots which are each designed to skip the first two stages and go strait to Atomization.

Foil: Besides having normal human levels of durability outside of his suit Roxas also needs his suit to contain his energy which never stops being generated by him. Even the suit however is a temporary measure, the only sure fire way to stabilize him is to vent massive amounts of energy from him, which can be done slowly through him firing his cannon and reloading it, or vey quickly by his sister siphoning this energy away. Without any mitigation projections indicate he may build up enough energy to trigger a stable Nuclear Fusion event…essentially meaning he will birth a star from himself.

Status: Roxas is the voice of His sister and the co-leader of the compound. He sees himself as the brother of all the kids who were raised on the compound even those who left.

Spoiler: Rick Dorian

Name: Rick Dorian
Age: 26yrs
Gender: Male
Notable features: Gigantic Frame & Grey metallic Skin.

Personality: Rick has almost always been one of the most predictable kids on the compound, You could almost always find him whining and complaining about the excessive pain of his mutations…yet many would prefer the old Rick to the current one. Sadly the whiney little boy grew into a giant man who seems to feel nothing both literally and figuratively. While he has never lashed out against his siblings, or any living thing for that matter he seems to struggle very hard to relate with anyone as well, being painfully aware of his differences and unable to do anything to hide it. He keeps to himself nowadays, often found in high mountains, dense jungles, Searing Seas of sand, and The dark depths of the ocean, just about anywhere he can go to avoid contact with humans. Just last year he was on the compound with his siblings but all could recognize him growing more distant, and so when the twins announced that the others could leave none were surprised when Rick did. Luckily for those at the compound who care for Rick, both his abilities, and conspiracy theories about giants, Yetis, and the occasional grey Bigfoot sighting let them know their brother is still around somewhere.

Backstory: Rick Dorian was brought to the compound at the age of six years old and when he first arrived and for a few years after his procedure he was a bit of a pushover. He had allergies to practically everything, he was frail in both physicality and emotionality. However he was still a sweet kid who would share what little he had with those who had less and when it came to things he could control and chose to do he would never complain vocally. However Puberty Came in and hit that young man like a hundred tons of Bricks.

Ricks Mutation Caused him to grow Four and a half feet in just under three agonizing years, his skin, his muscles, and his bones all became incredibly durable on a cellular level and he began to lose sensation in almost all parts of his body, not because he was going numb, but because his durability had begun to grow to a point where the normal day to day touches, toe stubs, and other such events of nerve stimulation lacked the ability to register to his new iron like nerves. By the time Rick was fifteen years old scientists had concluded that the hardest and most resistant thing known to science was ricks cells.

All of that meant little to Rick who began to see himself as a monster. He grew distant from his siblings but seemed to connect a bit more with Maxwell. Unfortunately Maxwells death hit him particularly hard as he learned that all the times Maxwell had tried to talk him through his mutations pain he was speaking from experience and he did in fact understand. So when Maxwell was gone rick decided he would also be free. He wanted to go see the world, to find the places that man had not found.

When he Left Rick was a bit of a lanky but tall grey skinned man, however after a year of walking in the trenches of the oceans, shifting glaciers to free climbers, dragging sunken vessels from the sea, and digging through tons of earth to find ancient ruins Rick has seemingly grown into his new body beefing up into a rather large and intimidating looking man. However those that know him from the old days would likely not believe the rumors they had heard of him attacking military outposts and Engaging warlords in the jungles of Africa. Wether or not they are true remains to be seen.

Weirdrad Mutation:
Indestructible Cells- Ricks Mutation is one of if not the most significant in regards to changes in the bodies structure. Firstly his growth was a direct result of his cells continuing to divide despite no longer dying as they had already begun to grow a shell like membrane. When the cells finally stopped dividing Rick was eight foot four inches tall and his grayish hue had finally begun to be realized. Yet his mutation did not stop there and scientists believe he may still be mutating, howev his cells have grown small hooklike structures which hold each other together in a way that scientists were no longer able to extract any samples. The membrane seems to turn each cell into an Extremophile which is seemingly immune to high doses of radiation, heat, cold, and seemingly all other forms of damage. Because this durability extends to his musculoskeletal system he is capable of feats of tremendous strength the highest of which is when his pulled a 50 ton vessel from the bottom of a lake. Finally all of his previous allergies seem to have gone away as he mutated and his internal structures seem to have become just as resistant to harm.

Foil: While he is able to hold his breath for very long periods, swimming in water is impossible for Rick as he tends to sink like a stone , furthermore he can run pretty fast topping out at 40mph but he does still struggle to change direction and his overall reaction time is hindered by him not being able to feel subtle touches or changes.

Status: Wandering rescuer and explorer.

Name: Stella Bellatrix
Age: 20
Gender: female
Notable features: bioluminescence irises and blood.

Personality: Stella is a carefree, assertive and rebellious person. She enjoys dancing between order and chaos, intentionally challenging boundaries set by others and make her own way in, for better or worse. She thinks of saving the world as a challenge rather than responsibility and doesn't mind breaking a few rules if she thinks she's justified for it. She likes playing pranks so if the toaster suddenly decided to slap you with the bread you just put in or your phone won't stop ringing as if someone is calling, it's probably her doing.

Backstory: Stella was born from a secret relationship between two celebrities, but due to their discord baby Stella was given to someone else, who then decided to sell her to Maxwell. Stella grown to be very hyperactive and curious, she lashed out when grounded and likes to screech like a banshee to draw attention to herself. Only when her combat training started that she got calmer. She has a huge interest in punching things and the boxing practice she got not only made her able to do it effectively but also teach her how to handle her emotions better. This in turns revealed her genius in practical field and she even developed methods to use her mutation power in many various ways.

After Maxwell death Stella decided to leave the compound. She wanted to do things in her bucket list before commiting herself to saving humanity. She said to the others that she would return later. She traveled around the world, visiting many places while make a living by literally punch money out of ATMs. She also stalks her biological parents' whereabout, trying to find an opportunity to confront them alone.

Weird Mutation: The weirdrad mutation transformed all of her cell into super electrocytes capable of generating, storing and absorbing a massive amount of electricity, just like a living battery. The limit has never been reached but the more charge stored the more radiant her body become. Upon reaching a certain point she even able to transform herself into lightning and cover vast distance in short amount of time. She can use her power to control nearby electronics and metal, creates EMP, wide range detection, boost her physical capabilities and wreck enemies' nervous system.

Foil:
Stella store most of her electricity inside her blood. Active blood would refuse to stay still and eliminate any foreign substance within, which mean she bleeds longer and drug would be less effective the more charged her blood is.

Status: left the compound.

Keethan is usually a very carefree, and somewhat selfish person, rarely giving a crap about anything or anyone if it doesn't affect him. He can be a bit of an asshole at times, due to this. He doesn't really have a moral compass, not really caring who lives, and who dies. Around strangers he can usually be a bit more polite, usually trying to win them over to get what he needs. Around his siblings, he's usually as nice, often enjoying watching conflict and fighting.

Keethans parents used to be very wealthy, they used to live in Dubai. One day, they disappeared, nowhere to be found anywhere. After the authorities were notified, he was placed into a foster care program. Most of the families he was placed in didn't treat him the best, often he was simply used as a servant boy. After a few homes, he started to steal from the families he was placed in, in an attempt to get enough money to live on. Of course, he never succeeded, and eventually was taken in by Maxwell a year later, when he was 8. There, he mainly took interest in psychology, espionage, and combat with blades. When it was revealed to him that he was chosen to defend humanity, he often wondered whether or not humanity was worth saving. He decided that when the time came, the only person he would save was himself, saving the rest of the world would be something if he felt up to it. After Maxwell's death, he decided to leave the compound for sometime, to go find his parents. After he went to Dubai, he started to ask questions, and break into places for information. Soon he found out that his parents had left to commit suicide, they were found later hanging in a forest. Shooken, he ended up returning to the compound.

Weird Mutation: Particle Physique - His gained the ability to destabilize and restabilize his body's atoms. This allows him to
-Teleport short distances
-Phase through solid objects
-Destabilize and restabilize small objects
-Turn invisible for a short time by destabilizing completely

Foil: whenever he uses his powers his skin becomes much less tough due to destabilization. This makes it much easier to cut through his skin

Spoiler: Koloda Mikhailov

Description: Kolo looks mostly average, wearing baggy clothes to hide their muscle, this is so they can easily sneak up on people and not appear as a threat before activating their military training. Along with this they mostly don’t care about their appearance wearing whatever is comfortable underneath. They also don’t much care about their hair leaving it ragged and grown often tying it up or hiding it under a hat. The have pale skin and deep blue eyes with brown eyebrows forever set in a constant frown.

Name: Koloda (Kolo) Mikhailov
Age: 17
Gender: Non-Binary They/Them
Notable features: Often wears black stub earrings.

Personality: Kolo is incredibly suspicious of people they don’t know often acting cold and reserved although after people put in the time to get to know them they open up and are incredibly talkative often talking so fast that they cannot be understood.

Backstory: Being sold immediately after birth they didn’t experience much about Eastern Europe, they grew up in the experiment but never trusted the professor or Roxas and Roxanne but developed some bonds with others. They always wanted to escape and get back t their birth parents even since they were little and poured themselves into their training so they had the best chance of that. They learnt several European languages, is a karate black belt and could win any academic challenge presented to them. They were planning an escape but that all was for naught as they were just let out anyway.

Weird Mutation: Kolo’s mutation caused their mind to see “Flahforward’s” which allow them to see into the future in hazy images and words or symbols but depending of the length of the flashfoward and the time into the future give them severe headaches. Often these flashforwards are triggered as the brains defence mechanism when they are in danger but they don’t help much but hinder Kolo as it gives them headaches.

Foil: They never attempted to learn to control their power meaning the flashforwards are fuzzy and often don’t make sense, as well as this they also get headaches whenever a flash forward occurs.

Status: Kolo left immediately after getting the option to do so and has never looked back, they don’t particularly live anywhere but they survive by using their survival skills to sleep wherever, they live around Europe in mostly the eastern parts as they were born there their before being sold to the experiment. They are investigating into the Luminaries using information they obtained during the experiment combined with online theories and their own flashforwards.

Spoiler: Timothy Kinsman

Description: Timothy looks average in almost every way, because they cannot use their body Timothy doesn’t have a sense of style and instead using many machines that wash and dress his body and his wardrobe consist of the same clothes, a cleanly pressed button up shirt with stripes of light grey and a pair of jeans with a belt looped around. It was also simpler to not have hair than to cut it so he sports a clean shaved head. Emerald green eyes and pale skin.

Name: Timothy Kinsman
Age: 27
Gender: Male He/Him
Notable features: No

Personality: Timothy’s socialisation has been stunted because it takes significant energy to communicate with others so often he communicates in very simple and undissrptive which can come across and simple or shy. Despite this Timothy longs to have friends and tries his best to have a social life that he can never have.

Backstory: Timothy was taken into the experiment when he was around 5 or 6 from a family of rich douchebags that wanted a girl, they locked him into his room and only gave him food once a week. He was kept there alone with no way out and little food and water like an animal. His parents would’ve given Timothy away for free but they got money out of it anyway and at least now Timothy was better off. Although he couldn’t use his body and only learnt how too mentally communicate after years of practice meaning for years Timothy seemed mute and still like a doll.

Weird Mutation: An enhanced mind that allows Timothy to input thoughts and words into peoples minds as a form of communication. He can also control other peoples minds by essentially overloading them with thoughts, however this only works to people with weak or vulnerable minds.

Foil: During the wierdrad experiment something went wrong causing their mind and body to split, this same experiment also enhanced his brain causing a very odd occurrence. He now uses a wheelchair that connects to a chip in his brain allowing him to move around.

Status: Timothy still lives within the compound, they didn’t particularly have a choice as they use a wheelchair the outside world would be incredibly difficult although Timothy doesn’t mind. Usually he spends his days inside the compound reading, watching old tv or practicing their psychic powers. Their goal is to be able eventually psychically manipulate their body to move around.

Spoiler: Nikola Dante Faraday

Name: Nikola Dante Faraday

Age: 21

Gender: Male

Notable features: Grey iris, Big tattoo on the back saying “Magicae est realis, Sicut tua credendi” meaning “Magic is as real as your belief in it.”

Personality:
Nikola is a happy-go-lucky fellow always smiling and never taking things too seriously.
He hates seeing people being sad to the point he always shows them a magic trick or just goofs off to make them smile and laugh. To his siblings he tries to be the best big bro he can be, he will listen to your worries, give you advice, try to make you forget the sadness, not because he likes you or anything it's just because they are family to him and that's what family does. Towards his enemies, Nikola shows no mercy and becomes honest to a fault sadist, but still showing a bit of kindness and honoring every deal and promise made even to an enemy.

Backstory:
Nikola Dante Faraday was born in Florencia on the 10th of July 2000, he didn't live there for long since after only a year and a half he was taken by Maxwell to the compound, he was too young to remember his parents and even when he grew up he didn't bear any ill feelings towards Maxwell, rather he felt happy for having a new bigger family.

Nikola growing up hated learning stuff, instead, he loved reading fantasy books about magicians, but dear Maxwell always found a way to get little Nikola to study, telling him stories that although magic is lost in this world some people can still replicate what the magic did via a medium called science. So a lot of times Nikola could be seen with a fantasy book in one hand and a science one in another trying to understand how one could replicate the magic. For a few years, all Nikola did was train his power, learn new stuff and him learning to master the magic tricks he read in books and saw on tv.

But in 2012 he cried for the first time, the ever cheerfully ball of joy cried, not because something bad happened to him but because he knew a member of this family died, it was Maxwell’s wife and the mother of Roxan and Roxas, Miss Margaret.
His connection to everyone was great, even though he might not have been the oldest out of all children in the compound he always thought of himself as everyone’s big bro, which sometimes led to funny situations.

After Maxwell's death, Nikola decided to leave the compound but his lingering attachment didn’t let him leave to a faraway place, so he lingered in nearby cities sometimes seeing others from the compound, he even spoke with Rick before he left to wander the world and help people, since that time Nikola just waits to hear news about a big grey man doing bigger greater things.

Weird Mutation: Weirdrad experiments allowed Nikola to generate and manipulate electromagnetic fields around him, although he did not train his powers to make them stronger, instead he focused on raising his proficiency by using the basics of his power.
Thinking that would allow him to seamlessly use his power. (Said basics of his power being repulsion and attraction of magnetic or metallic objects, magnetization or demagnetization of objects and electroreception.)

Foil: The control of his power and its output may change depending on Nikola’s mental and physical state. Leading to him losing control of his power when severely injured or in huge mental distress. Also when using the electric part of his power, Nikola will be shocked.

Status: Left the compound to pursue his dream of becoming a magician, but still he lingers never more than a month of travel away from the compound for he worries about those who stayed.

Magic exists. Who can doubt it, when there are rainbows and wildflowers, the music of the wind and the silence of the stars? Anyone who has loved has been touched by magic. It is such a simple and such an extraordinary part of the lives we live. Nikola Dante Faraday
